About various reports in SAP

As we know SAP provides certain standard reports which we can see thru SAP01 Tcode.
Now if my client wants certain important information about say
" Total inventory of a certain materials in particular storage location of particular plant and GR  in same plant for the same material in previous one months period"
If i want extract all hose data from the syatem how can i do it.
As a fuctional consultant what could be my role in the above scenario.
Can ABAPer will help me in this and if so what i need to communicate to him so that he will extract this data for client.
Also can we say that getting above information is nothing but part of LIS .

Hi Ashutosh
I am not sure whether this will addres
1. Material master Accouting1 View
Go to Material master Accounting view  in change mode or disply mode MM02/mm03 and click on button previous period/year, a Pop window will appear showing details like stock, value in previous period/year
I am not sure but I have been making use of this feature since SAP 4.7 Enterprise version.
If in case SAP version which you are using is less then see point no 2
2. Check In SAP Oss Note number 193554 stock/valuation data for previous period/year
Relevant tables are called history tables MBEWH, MARDH, MCHBH, and so on

  • Question about Crystal Reports and SAP 2007

    Good day experts,
I am in the process of creating a Cross Tab report in Crystal Reports,   When I get to the screen Cross Tab Report Creation Wizard, any UDFs contained within the source Stored Procedure are not available for selection.
I have tried adding other UDFs to the Stored Procedure and they are also not available.
Is this correct?  To me a UDF is just another field in the SAP table.
    Thanks
    OB

    Hi OB........
The UDFs you created and taken into the Query you have to cast it into nvarchar. And then only it will show it in your crystal......
Try this Cast(U_UDF as nvarchar) put your UDF code in place of UDF........
    Hope this will help you......

    Rahul

  • I am a novice - I need a simple, plug & go, external hard drive ... Have read various reports about Time Capsule ... Any opinions or alternatives? I am old, & need simple answers please - nothing complicated ... Thanks ...

I am a novice - I need a simple, reliable, plug & go (U.K.) external hard drive (1-3 TB) Have read various reports (good & bad) about Time Capsules - opinions & alternatives please .. I am old, so please keep answers simple - anything containing 'stuff' I won't understand & I'll ignore it .... Thanks in anticipation ...

I consider Time Capsule slow, mainly because it depends upon a wireless network for backing up.  I tried it, but went back to the plug and play FW800 wired backup.  Since this particular forum is for the MacBook Pro hardware, I'd suggest the following two forums to search for your answer (or ask questions):
    Time Machine
    Time Capsule
Since you want easy, the external hard drive is about as easy as it gets. Buy.  Unpack.  Plug into your Mac. Format (if you don't buy a Mac formatted one, which is unnecessary).  Go to System Preferences>Time Machine.  Choose the disk as the time machine.  Turn on.

  • How to add/create additional page in Crystal Report Layout SAP B1

    Hi,
I wanna ask about How to add/create additional page in Crystal Report Layout SAP B1 ?
I want when user print Purchase Order then on last page also print some page like Penalty Clause etc.
Pls help me to find the solution.
    Br,
    Thomas Marsetyo

    Hi,
In your report footer, set it to create a new page before it is printed (In 'Section Expert', select the Report Footer -> 'Paging' tab -> Check 'New Page Before' checkbox). Throw your Terms & Conditions into the Report Footer section.
If you already have a Report Footer that you want to keep, just split the footer into two sections (Right-click the Report Footer section -> 'Insert Section Below') and follow the same procedure for the newly created section.

  • Vendor evalution report in SAP BUSINESS ONE

We require Vendor Evalution report in SAP BUSINESS ONE which has information about receipt(GRPO) perfomance against purchase order issued.  We require item code, item description, p.o.no., p.o.qty, delivery date, GRPO NO., GRPO Date, GRPO QTY, Delay no. of days. If there is any report in SAP please inform us. Otherwise any query we can make please inform us how to make query in SAP business one.

    Hi,
The query from the thread is modified as below to include the customer/vendor name :
    SELECT T3.cardcode, T0.ItemCode, SUM(T0.Quantity) 'PO Qty',SUM(T1.Quantity) 'GRPO Qty', SUM(T2.Quantity) 'Return Qty'
    FROM dbo.POR1 T0
    LEFT JOIN dbo.PDN1 T1
    ON T0.DocEntry = T1.BaseEntry AND T0.LineNum = T1.BaseLine
    LEFT JOIN dbo.RPD1 T2
    ON T1.DocEntry = T2.BaseEntry AND T1.LineNum = T2.BaseLine
    INNER JOIN dbo.OPDN T3
    ON T1.DocEntry = T3.docentry
    WHERE T0.ItemCode is not NULL AND T0.DocDate >= [%0] AND T0.DocDate <= [%1]
    GROUP BY T3.cardcode, T0.ItemCode
    Check if this helps.
Please make sure you have a look on the Query Generator and the related books on the SQL query writing before you start creating your own.

    Hai
How take a excel report in sap b1 2007?what is the procedure or else step for excel report?how to import the report in excel sheet
    regards
    Bhuvana

    Hi Bhuvana,
You can create reports in Excel for Business One using XL Reporter. This is an add-on which allows you to build custom reports, and comes included with the 2007 A version. It is also available as a download for the 2005 version.
Please see [service.sap.com/smb/sbo/xlr|http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/xlr] which is the landing page for XLR. This contains alot of information including examples, the help file, e-learning and other documentation.
If you have any specific questions about XLR, it would be best to post them in the Business One forum rather than the SDK forum as SDK consultants may not have as much experience with XLR.

  • Flexibilities in report in sap b1

    Respected Sir/Mam
Can You give me detailed information about the flexibilities in Report in SAP Business One.
If it is possible then forward me related link through which i can get detailed overview. Please help me out.

There are different report tools available to B1.  PLD is the default tool that allow you to edit in some extents. You have to use it because all forms are only directly linking to PLD.  More flexible tools would by Query PLD and Crystal Report.  The later is very flexible that could handle almost any reports.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Exception reports within SAP

I am looking for any information on built-in exception reports within SAP, do these exist? The company I work for typically runs custom reports to identify duplicate payments, receiving errors, missed opportunities based on payment terms, etc. These reports are generated outside SAP. I have been able to use screen MB5S (GR/IR Balances) to isolate over received purchase orders, but I am interested to learn more about the tools that are built into SAP. Any help is appreciated!

    Hi.......
Welcome to SAP Business One Forum.......
You can not get the query for inbuilt reports.
But for some of the reports saved in Query manager by System you get.
But i would suggest you to create your own SQL queries.....
    More beneficial to you.......

    Rahul
