About vbdkr structure

I have retreive data from vbdkr structure' which is as following logic
Terms of payment
VBDKR-ZTERM_TX1
: VBDKR-ZTERM_TX2
: VBDKR-ZTERM_TX3
Where VBDKR-ZTERM = VBAK-ZTERM
please guide me to have alternate logic from structure it is not possible to retrieve the data
thanks

A table is a structure, but a structure is NOT a table... can't select data from a structure.

It also depends on the user licenses u have for the backend.

    Hi there,
We are in the middle of designing the structure of a new system.
I have read/heard that it is best to break down the plans into the
    following categories:
    Business Classes
    Managers/Services
    Clients
I have a few questions about this structure:
Should related business classes be grouped together in Plans? E.g. if
you have an Employee class with related EmployeeSubordinate and
EmployeeSalaryHistory classes, should these all be in the same plan?
Why should the Managers be separated from their business classes?
E.g. if there is an EmployeeMgr service which deals with anything to do
with the Employee business class, why separate them in different
plans? If you need the manager to access the class, you will always
    need both.
Some of the Forte documentation talks about "Policy" managers and
"Database" managers. How do the functions of these managers differ
for a simple CRUD (Create Read Update Delete) class?
If you have the Database managers separate, what scope does each
DB manager cover? I.e. do you have one for the entire database (over
100 tables in our case), or do you break it down by sub-system?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

  • Advice about application structure before starting

    Hi all,
I am so sorry for this longest post, but I have to explain all thing. Sorry again.
I have been studying with Labview for a year by myself without taking any professional support. When I get stuck in preparing my VIs, I always post here and you answered me with great patient. Thank you for all. Now, I am about to start a new VI and before starting it I thought it would be good to consult you on that.
The goal of this VI could be classified under 4 main topics: Acquisition, control, analysis, and recording the data. I am studying on a test system. There are two types of data to be acquired from the test system: pressure and temperature. For this purpose I have 1xNI 9203 (analog input-current) & 2xN9214(analog input-temperature). The test system is desired to be under control by use of a DC compressor with a frequency converter. To control that frequency converter I have to use NI 9263 (analog output- voltage). All hardware system is installed on NI 9188 cDAQ.
Before preparition of this system, I have coded a VI that acquire, analyse, and record the data-there is no use of NI 9263 (attached here). In this VI, I used a basic structure and it works fine. The only problem of this VI is delaying when the stop button is pressed. Anyway, now I want to prepare a new one. The difference of the new VI from the old one is that it controls the system while acquiring, analysing, and recording processes. And this control is supported by acquired pressure and temperature values. This will be my first big project and I need your suggesttions on structure of this VI. Do I start to build it with state machine architect or another ones? To prevent the data loss what kind of precautions could be taken?
    Thank you all in advance.

    MAIN PROGRAM_v0.vi ‏147 KB

    Egemen,
First, Great! It is very important to plan and design your program before starting to write it.
Next, you do not need to apologize for providing the information necessary for someone to respond to your request. We would very much prefer a post of several paragraphs which contains the relevant information to a brief post which only elicits questions for more details.
    Now to your questions.
    1. Look at the style guides.  Your block diagram was several screens high and wide.  It is recommended to keep the diagram to one screen.  Paticularly in programs which will get large and copmlicated like yours, this readability constraint will be very worthwhile.  Effective use of subVIs is one way to help minimize screen bloat.
    2.  Look at the style guides. The use of local variables to pass data from one loop to a parallel loop is not recommended.  It can lead to race conditions, force execution of the loops in the UI thread, and is slower than wires.
    3. Read the help on Event Structures. Only one event structure per VI is recommended. Although the way you have used them will probably work, it consumes hectares of block diagram space and may be vulnerable to problems when you or another developer decides to make a few changes.
    4. Because there is no data dependency, it is possible (although not very likely) that the main loop could start running before the clear history property nodes execute.
    5. How do your temperature charts know which waveform to display?
    6. You stop on DAQ errors but do not check for file errors. You may want to consider more robust error handling.
Now, some general comments on program structure. You list 4 topics: Acquisition, control, analysis, and recording the data.  This may also be a good way to think about program structure. The structure probably needs one more topic: User Interface.  The program you posted essentially has 2 topics: User Inputs and everything else.  Think about the timing requirements for each topic.  User interface - needs to respond to user inputs in about 100 ms or the user begins to feel as though the program is not responding. Similarly, displays do not need to update more than a few times per second. Acquisition - Software timed.  Default value = 1.67 Hz. Output not specified, but since you are talking pressure and temperature, it is probably slow also. Once you start doing closed loop control, it may become more important to keep the timing constant. Record data - same timing as acquisition.  However, writing 8-64 channels of data two two files twice per second may not be optimum. And what happens when the OS finds that the files are fragmented and must allocate new sapce for the file and takes more than half a second to do so?  Analysis - Your subVIs were not included so I have no idea what they do, how fast they may be and what effects they may have on the overall operation.
What I suggest is that you study the Producer/Consumer Design Patterns and State Machines.  I think you may end up with 3 or 4 parallel loops. One will be the User Interface loop with the only event structure. Another will handle all the data acquisition (possibly including outputs when controlling your test system). This will be a state machine which initializes the DAQ, Reads and Writes, and shuts it down when finished. The File writes may be in a separate loop. If file I/O is put into a parallel loop, it should be a state machine which opens, writes, and closes the files and retains the file path or reference for repeated writes. The control and analysis (another state machine) may be in a separate loop or could run in the timeout case of the event structure in the UI loop.  Which is best depends on details of your system.
With the amount of data you are moving around and the number of property nodes you need to use, learn to manipulate the front panel from a subVI. Search the Forum for posts on use of control references and on updating the main front panel from a subVI. There are some good methods posted.

  • Questions from a rookie about event structures

    Hello,
I am currently scheduled for Labview classes next month,
so I want to apologize in advance for "dumb questions". I have created
    a program that is starting
to be a CPU resource hog. The majority of my program is inside a while
loop so that the program will "react" to changes in controls, etc. I am
    assuming that
if I incorporate "event structures" in my program that my program will
not be a resource hog.  Is the use of event structures the correct
    way to go? If using
event structures is the correct way to go, what is the best way to
learn how to incorporate "event structures"?  I am assuming that
the examples in Labview will show me how. Are there any good reading
    materials about event structures?
    Regards,
    Kaspar

To fix the CPU resource issue, you need to place a small wait statement in your loop. It will solve two problems:
Slow down the loop (you don't need to check for UI changes more that 10x/second)
It will allow other, parallel tasks a chance to run after each iteration. Without a wait, it will hog the CPU for 55ms before releasing control.
If your loop currently spins one million times a second and you would place a 1ms wait, the CPU would go from 100% to 0.1%!
The event structure is a fantastic tool to solve most UI issues and it makes the diagram automatically simpler, more self-documenting and easier to read. Have a look at some of the examples that ship with LabVIEW.
The event structure is easy to learn, so dive right in. Read the online help for some important considerations. As a rule of thumb you should stick to a single event structure per diagram.

  • Purpose of VBDKR structure

    hi
can u please  tell me what is the purpose of VBDKR structure ?
From where does the data comes into VBDKR structure ?
in program if we write VBDKR-VBLELN, how will the value comes into the VBDKR-VBELN
    thanks in advance

    Hi pavan,
VBDKR sturcture is used to Document Header View for Billing .
Structure will never have any entries or data with in it. It can be used to define types as reference.
If VBDKR-VBLELN is getting any data means, that structure name would have used as internal table name or any other variable name.

  • New to mac and iphoto, questions about photo structure & organization

I bought a new Macbook Pro a couple of days ago and am still figuring things out. I wasn't displeased with windows...I just decided to try a mac anyway, So far, I adore it except for one thing, the pictures.
I spent hours researching whether to download and use picasa 3 for mac or iphoto. I decided on picasa....and now I've changed my mind. (Mostly because I tried to take pictures of the moon tonight, and they looked great in camera, but Picasa could only pick up a black screen whearas iphoto actually saw and defined the moon- and with the editing software on the two, the picasa auto-edit looked like a picture that was created in microsoft paint, and iphoto came out with a beautifully contrasted photo).
Now that I decided to use iphoto, I have been researching how to switch and still seem to have a lot of questions. (I've poked around numerous forums but have found conflicting answers on different sites).
    1) I organize my pictures by folders with the month and year. I know iphoto organizes events, which it seems to determine based on photo similarity. Will my photo structure still appear in finder -> pictures?
    2) Is it possible to stop iphoto from organizing my pictures and just trust me on what I want?
    3) All of my friends and family use PCs, and there is a chance that due to financial concerns, when I eventually replace my macbook pro (far in the future) I could switch to a pc. Does iphoto make transferring pictures more difficult? (If I understand correctly, it does not change the photo file, a jpeg is still a jpeg but I want to be sure)
    4) I do not want iphoto to duplicate all of the pictures already in my library....if I import from finder-users-pictures, will it simply use those, or duplicate all 150gb worth of pictures?
    5) Any other tips for someone completely new to macs and iphoto?
    6) This is very silly, but how do I uninstall picasa (I know how to uninstall on a windows but want to make sure I do things correctly on my mac!)
Also, just a "bonus"- regarding events vs. files I create, will iphoto create events within the program but leave my file structure in the library it imports from alone? If I use finder to go to where I store my photos, will I still see my file structure regardless of what iphoto does?(Does that make sense? I'm having a hard time trying to describe it)
I apologize if this question is foolish or misplaced- I did read many other posts but didn't see the answers I was looking for.

Your questions are neither foolish nor misplaced.
The first thing I strongly suggest is that you make a trial iPhoto Library. Import 100 or 200 pics and explore. Iphoto isn't right for everybody, and if you're going to use it you will need to rethink things a little.
    1) I organize my pictures by folders with the month and year. I know iphoto organizes events, which it seems to determine based on photo similarity. Will my photo structure still appear in finder -> pictures?
A: Events are based entirely on Date and Time not on 'photo similarity' You can set the interval for what makes an Event in the iPhoto Preferences: iPhoto Menu -> Preferences -> General Pane: Autosplit into Events... And select from the drop down menu.
Will my photo structure still appear in finder -> pictures?
Yes or no, depending... iPhoto can run as a Referenced or Managed Library. In the former case, yes you files will be visible in the Finder, in the latter case they won't.
Note that Referenced or Managed refers +only to file storage+ It offers no extra functionality, it does nothing at all. App like iPhoto are your go-to app for your photos. If you use it, then you never access the photos via the Finder. Ever. It's always via iPhoto or the many, many hooks into the OS that it has.
I'll detail more on Referenced v Managed below.
    2) Is it possible to stop iphoto from organizing my pictures and just trust me on what I want?
I'm not sure what you mean by this. Iphoto does basic date and time organisation by default. You can change it, you can change the location of the photos in Events, merge them and then using the other tools available - Albums, Smart Albums, Faces, Places etc you can organise your photos whatever way you want.
But what do you mean by pictures. There is a distinction between Photos - the image of your child holding his dog - and files: A Jpeg is just a file. Iphoto is designed for you to +forget about the jpeg+ and get on with the interesting bit: the pics of your younger and his pet.
A Jpeg is a Jpeg is a Jpeg. If you migrate to another app or an entire OS you can export the photos plus any and all metadata you've added to the Finder and move it on. (Caveat: You cannot export Faces. There is no agreed standard on any system for exchanging this info.)
    4) I do not want iphoto to duplicate all of the pictures already in my library....if I import from finder-users-pictures, will it simply use those, or duplicate all 150gb worth of pictures?
It can do either. And this brings me back to the Referenced v Managed discussion above. By default, iPhoto will Manage the files, that is, it will copy them into the Library. You can choose not to, but I strongly recommend that you don't:
    *How to do it:*
Simply go to iPhoto Menu -> Preferences -> Advanced and uncheck 'Copy Files to the iPhoto Library on Import'.
    *What Happens:*
Now iPhoto will not copy the files, but rather simply reference them on your HD. To do this it will create an alias in the Originals Folder that points to your file. It will still create a thumbnail and, if you modify the pics, a Modified version within the iPhoto Library Folder.
    *Some things to consider:*
    1. Importing and deleting pics are more complex procedures. You have to to put the files where they will be stored before importing them. When you delete them you'll need to remove the files from the HD yourself.
    2. You cannot move or rename the files on your system or iPhoto will lose track of them on systems prior to 10.5 and iPhoto 08. Even with the later versions issues can still arise if you move the referenced files to new volumes or between volumes.
    3. Most importantly, migrating to a new disk or computer can be much more complex.
    4. Because iPhoto has no tools for managing Referenced Files, if, for some reason, the path to the photos changes then you could find yourself resolving aliases for +each photo in the Library+ one by one.
    My own opinion:
I've yet to see a good reason to run iPhoto in referenced mode unless you're using two photo organisers
If disk space is an issue, you can run an entire iPhoto Library from an external disk:
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library as an entity from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
If you're concerned about accessing the files, There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:
*For Users of 10.5 and later*
You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
    Uploaded with plasq's Skitch!
*For users of 10.4 and later* ...
Many internet sites such as Flickr and SmugMug have plug-ins for accessing the iPhoto Library. If the site you want to use doesn’t then some, one or any of these will also work:
To upload to a site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. However, if you're using Gmail you can use iPhoto2GMail
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
*If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running*:
For users of 10.6 and later:
You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu. Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and later:
Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
    1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
*If you want to edit the photo in another application:*
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
    5) Any other tips for someone completely new to macs and iphoto?
    *To Push Home a point*
For someone inexperienced with Macs and inexperienced with iPhoto I cannot stress enough that Managed Library is the way to go. I understand there is comfort in seeing all those folders. But inside the Library that's all there is: all those folders, stored so that an inexperienced user can't grub things up!
The iPhoto Library Folder is a Package File. This is simply a folder that looks like a file in the Finder. The change was made to the format of the iPhoto library because many users were inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves. Want to see inside?
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Standard Warning: Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
Now close that window and forget about it.
So, once you've imported your photos to iPhoto in a Managed Library, the surplus duplicates are +your folders+. Of course, in time, trash them to get back the wasted disk space. But don't do it today or tomorrow. There's no hurry. When you feel confident that you understand how iPhoto is working and that's it's working for you, theat's the time to reclaim the space.
I organize my pictures by folders with the month and year.
If you want to duplicate your Folder Tree in iPhoto:
Start at the bottom of the hierarchy and drag a folder of images to the Album Heading in iPhoto. The pics will be imported and an Album of the same name created.
You can then create the Enclosing Folders in the iPhoto Window (File -> New Folder) and drag the Album to it. Folders can contain other Folders (Nested Folders) and Albums.
However, is your folder system date based? Then this form of organisation is a bit pointless in iPhoto when Smart Albums or the Calendar tool (Click on the wee magnifying glass in the Search Box) mean you can find the photos taken on any day, month or year at a click. With Smart Albums it's easy to find photos from specific range - say, June 3 to August 25, 2009 etc.
If your folder system is theme based - Xmas pics, Birthday pics etc, then you'll find Keywords are much more flexible, and can be used in conjunction with other criteria for making Smart Albums and searches.
    6) This is very silly, but how do I uninstall picasa (I know how to uninstall on a windows but want to make sure I do things correctly on my mac!)
Drag the app to the trash and empty it.
    Regards
    TD

  • Question about program structure.

hi, I am trying to write a GUI program like MSN messenger. right now, I am really confused about my program structure.
Should I put all the things in one class or separate them into GUI class, services class..etc? for example, right now, I have a class responsible for connecting to the server. Should I put it into the GUI class as a nested class or .......? Basically, what is the best structure for GUI program?

    http://www.sun.com/blueprints/1206/820-0618.html
    Is there some documentation about
    - how to create an AdressBook : why the name
    AdressBookc9a643a ?
where do the string c9a643a come from ?
    - how to create entry in the address book
Exemple : PascalMaesd2cb535 where do the
"d2cb535" come from ?No public documentation that I am aware of exists, but then again it isn't really needed. It should be straight-forward enough to reverse-engineer the structure.
From memory the random looking strings are just that -- some unique identifier generated to reduce the possibility of clashes. So if you were to use some kind of timestamp/username hash has you could generate your own string and that should be fine.
Basically it's a case of trial/error to see what generated strings are accepted by the existing messenger express installation.

    Shane.

  • About info-structure

Recently I was asked about the function of infostructure, but I have no idea about it.
Could someone here tell me some about it.
Eg, I can use T-code:OMOD to config the PP-infostructures.
It is highly appreciated for any information.
    Wilson

Infostructures are back bone of LIS. In SAP you can kind of correlate them to a database table. The information in these would be updated as and when transactions are executed in the SAP system depending on the configuration.
    eg,
    S021 Production Order
This information structure contains the item data from the production order for material. It forms the data basis for the standard analysis of production order.
    S022 Operation
The operation data from the production order for work center is updated to this information structure. This information structure provides the data basis for the standard analysis of operation.
    S023 Material
The information structure S023 contains the totals records for material and forms the data basis for the standard analysis of material.
    S024 Work Center
This information structure contains the totals records for work center and provides the data basis for the standard analysis of work center.
If the system is set up the right way, when Production order is created, the info structure will get updated (eg.)
    Thanks

  • A quesiton about case structure

    Hello
I just try to write a simple program.
    e.g. I have a for loop (N = 10), if i > 5, I want to output the value into array ([6, 7, 8, 9] is what I want). But in labview I have to wire a value in the "false" case, so my output become [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 6, 7, 8, 9].
How can I solve this problem?
    Many thanks,
    Stephen

    Hi Stephen,
You need to use a shift register for the array.  In the first half of the iterations, don't add anything to your array.  But once the iteration count passes your threshold, start building the iterations into the array.  I have attached a VI to this e-mail.  Notice also that I've included the logic for switching out cases directly in the case structure with the "..4" and "5.." cases.
You should check out the LabVIEW Help on shift registers...they're a little hard to understand when you first start using LabVIEW, but they are an indispensable feature when dealing with loops.  While you're at it, check out the LabVIEW Help on Case Structures to learn about other neat things like the "..4" and "5.." notation.

  • Weird thing about the structure window in JDeveloper

Hi !. My name is Agustin and I live in Cordoba, Argentina !. My doubt is the following one: I don't know the reason but I can't see my Structure Window, although I have clicked several times in the View > Structure menu item. Is there any option in JDeveloper to reset the panels as it would be done If I erase my domain ?. Thank you very much !.

You didn't mention your JDev version.
Here is a solution for older JDevs: https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/where_did_that_jdeveloper_wind
For newer ones it would be similar approach of finding and deleting the file from the system directory.

  • About Directory Structure

My project contains one main e-learning project, along with 9 lessons, 9 demos and 9 simulations. Each of those is a separate Captivate project. The main project contains links to them.
My question is about how to organize all this. If--in the future--we deploy this to a LMS, is it important to keep each subproject in its own subfolder to accurately track learner participation, etc.?
I'm not sure how uploading a multi-project system is handled by an LMS like Acobat Connect Pro.

This may be heresey, but I'm not really sure Connect Pro is a full LMS.
    No matter though...
For multi-'lesson' projects, just keep them separate and let the LMS handle the menu'ing and routing.
Publish each as it's own content package, upload separately to the LMS, and set them all up into one overall 'course', or whatever organization it offers.
Captivate does have the 'Aggregator' but I've not seen anyone have luck blending lessons together with it for use in an LMS. That's not to say it's not possible, but I've not seen that success (nor tried myself).
You could create a 'shell menu' with Flash that loads in the various components to make one overall lesson, but that shell menu then needs to handle the SCORM communication, lesson navigation, etc...
    Does that help?

  • Basic questions about NWDI structure

    Hello All,
I have read some materials about the Java development process within SAP J2EE engine.
Here I just want to confirm with you some knowledge points and ask some questions about the configuration of NWDI before proceeding Java development.
    1. There are four systems within SAP Java landscape, the first one is the developer's own PC, on which there should be installed SAP Workplace (actually is a small J2EE engine and the NW developer studio), am I understanding right?
    2. Where should the DTR CBS CMS and SLD be installed? on the Consolidation Server? or the TEST Server? or the Production server? or totally on another standalone server?
    3. Within one Track (four system), how many DTR server, CBS Server and SLD server should be installed?  Does it only need one for each?(All the four system connect to the same DTR/CBS/SLD server?)
    4. Can DTR Server, CBS Server and SLD Server be installed on the same host? or should they be installed on separate hosts?
Thank you very much in advance.
    Best regards,
    Nick

The introduction of this demo contains a nice overview of the system landscape with NWDI, which should answer most of your questions:

  • Confirmation required about case structure in cursor

    Hi,
I have been trying to use a case when structure inside a cursor in a stored procedure with regular expressions in it, but its throwing compilation error.
The error message does seem to be irrelevant.
Just want to know whether there is any limitation of using case when structure inside a stored procedure in a cursor.
If no limitation like that, then will try again to debug it.

The error message does seem to be irrelevant. No it is not. The error message will tell you what oracle or the compiler thought what is wrong. Try to understand it.

-MDBe aware that the syntax of the case statement is slightly different beween SQL and PL/SQL.

  • About data structure

    hi all,
here i do have another data structure related question where is concerning the JTree i have asked before this. how do i define/design the data structure that will suite my JTree application?
my JTree will take many information as the data that it has at most 4 level including the root. the data may pass from the server, and it may be not in order, how do i do that?
    thanks a lot

hmm... i have modify a bit of the data structure class as describe below:
i have done all of the JTree part of my applet, except now only headache problem is that how do i gonna define my JTree data structure efficiently? i mean that there are many possible of data that will pass through the applet to create my JTree, there may be not in order though, so how can i define a suitable data structure to handle the data that coming in to the JTree?
what i have done so far is that i have created a class (consider the data object) to handle the data, whereby the server will pass the data according to the class structure, which then i get the data from there and create my JTree node. in the data object, for sure i put a parameter that will detect the level of the tree node, where i can successfully put it in the JTree, but is there any other better way?
    thank you
