I recently buy a TC and I would like to copy my iTunes library on it
For the music, it works perfectly but I have one issue with the videos
When I try to change information about a file with iTunes, the file becomes corrupted and I can't play it anymore with iTunes or in the Finder with Quicktime or QuickView

You are correct, Audio only files will stream to your AE. Video's will currently not stream to your AE.
However, you can obtain a 3rd party application called Airfoil that will stream ANY audio to your AE and it can be found here: http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/

Can you still purchase videos with itunes 6??

Like everyone else I downloaded itunes7, at first I got all error messages, and missing files. I spent 3 hrs. on the phone with Apple technicians and they had me download itunes7 and quicktime separately. Now I can at least open itunes, but that is about it. Itunes played audio but no video, but I went in and disabled the 3D from my video, now the videos play but are fuzzy and freeze. I have a 60GB ipod which I am afraid to sync with my computer. Does that mean if connect my ipod to my computer for synching, that will screw up my ipod?? I tried to uninstall itunes7 and its components and load the itunes cd that came with my ipod itunes 6.01 but it wouldn't work. In my itunes library it doesn't list videos anymore. Only TV shows, music and podcasts? Where did the video listing go? My 60GB ipod was recently purchased with an extended warranty, do you think if I return it and purchase a 80GB with the itunes cd and install that, it might work better? Can you still purchase videos if I manage to somehow get back itunes6?? The Apple technician said they would get back to me but of course they haven't. One last thing, I can finally connect to the itunes store but when I preview a video it freezes.

While I haven't tried, I would image the answer is no.
Usually when iPods are released with a new iTunes version, they aren't made to be/are made not to be compatible with previous iTunes versions.
It may work, but I can't be sure either way (someone else may have tested this).
In the past, even if iTunes updated the iPod, there tended to be problems syncing.

How can I get iPhoto to share videos with iTunes automatically?

When I take a video with my camera and upload to iphoto, is there any way that I can get the video to automatically copy into itunes? At the moment I have to open the video in quicktime and then 'share with itunes' for each individual video that i shoot.
There must be a better way?

iPhoto doesn't import anything unless you tell it to. All it's doing is offering to import. No you can't stop that window appearing. You'll just have to click cancel.

Converted Video With itunes???

I put my Video onto itunes it wasn't able to be put onto my ipod so I Went to Adavanced>Covert Selection For iPod
It converted it but now it has no auido ???

Ipad 2 won't synch video with itunes

Greetings. I have an ipad 2, ipdated to OS6 recently. I manually synch video content from itunes on a Mac Mini on OSX, Itunes 10.
I noticed 2 problems today, most troubling is that my video content was gone. I connected the Ipad to itunes via USB and tried to synch video content two ways: first by making playlists, then choosing specific videos to transfer to the Ipad. In both cases, no video content was transferred. At first, when I changed the method of synch, the "capacity" bar at the bottom of the screen shows the video content. The status shows that synch is in going on, and then suddenly it stops and no videos are transferred at all.
I wanted to see if anyone has encountered this problem an found a solution before I restored to factory settings - it seems as if this a glitch with the new OS and maybe someone has a work around.

You apps are crashing. Try these simple troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit all apps and restart. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You can also try this for the issue with Safari.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache or Data . Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

IPod Video won't sync Video with iTunes

After installing the latest version of iTunes and putting an hour's worth of video into it, I plugged my new iPod in. The iPod synced with my music and my pictures, but not my videos(mpg), even though I'd already set the preferences to automatically sync them. Since I purchased this ipod video yesterday, I'm wondering whether I can exchange or return it. Can someone give me a little help?

Unlike the QT Player or the iTunes integrated player, the iPod player does not support .mpg (MPEG1) movies. You need to convert your files to either MPEG4/AAC (LC) or H.264/AAC (LC) formats. Since QT Pro does not convert "muxed" file formats (MPEG1, MPEG2, VOB, some AVI, AVI MJPEG, etc.) you must use an MPEG based third party application like the Videora iPod Converter (free) or similar Windows application.

i converted vidoes from my last trip and then the sound was gone... the videos work on the iPod and on the iTunes but with no sound...

Your source video file is probably muxed.
Neither QT Pro or iTunes has the ability to successfully encode a muxed video file with audio. You'll end up with video and no audio.
You'll need to use some other third-party software to do the conversion. There's a handful of software available. Just search the forums and you'll find many titles mentioned.
Try MPEG Streamclip.

Cannot play videos with itunes 7 on my mac

I recently downloaded itunes 7 and now I can't play any of my video podcasts on itunes, I double click them and nothing happens, also I'm having trouble downloading many podcasts, which itunes says are corrupted or unreadable, what the **** is up with this new itunes?

Just a small update. I even tried rebuilding my music library XML and data files by deleting them and then importing my iTunes folder back in to iTunes. No luck.
Also found more purchased content that won't work (Blade: The Series - purchased on Friday of last week - has the same blank screen issue, no overlay controls or anything, just my cursor, which is the same as Geri's game - noted incorrectly in first post that overlay controls were available), yet The Incredibles works just fine.
Again, any insights I may be missing would be MUCH appreciated.

I somehow shared a video I created through Final Cut Pro, shared it via iTunes and was able to load it on my iPods and iTouches....now it's not letting me do it. I've looked over and over in forums and I get the same thing....iMovie>share>iTunes...except when I do this I keep getting "file name" was not copied because it cannot be played on this iPod.......I'm using iMovie 10.0.3 and iTunes 11.2.2

Sync Videos with iTunes from Aperture

I Switched from iPhoto to Aperture and liked it a lot. The first time I synced my pictures and videos to my iPhone all worked smoothly but yesterday after I synced again, my videos from my intelligent aperture folder was gone from my iPhone4 everything else was synced perfectly. I tried setting the flag for sync videos (in the sync pictures subfolder of iTunes ) off, sync , set it on and sync again. But the videos wont sync. I got 5 gb of free space on my iPhone for 1 gb of videos. So this can't be the reason. Could anyone help me please. I don't know how to solve this problem.

Problem Solved!!! Aperture says the file is made by the Iphone and compartible, but it isnt. After exporting, reincoding using HandBrake and importing the videos to Aperture solved the problem. After that the videos could be synced to the Iphone. Apple support wasnt any help.
