About wbs status check ----GR/IR balance check

hi,dear all
When I set wbs to "clsd",can system check the purchment order's gi/ir balance of the wbs?(the account assignment of the po is the wbs,the po's goods receive is completed,all commitment is close ,but invoice has been done partially, not complete,the gi/ir balance is not zero.)
If it can not ,is there any else method can do this?

Hi Jian,
Since the project is not fully complete, you can use the Status "TECO". This will ensure that no fresh commitments will be allowed. If required you can even use "lock" in the WBS to lock Master data /Account assignment or "all"

Hi Jian Mao,
Yes, when you change the WBS elemnt to "CLS" status, system will wheck any Open PR's, PO's and Final confirmation of the Activity assigned to that.
For closing the PR's or PO's set deletion flag on header or item level OR set the delivery completed flag in PO.
For Activities you need to confirm them manually using batch or one-by-one.

However, my boyfriend sent in his the same time I did and his repair status says repair being diagnosed. I still have the "receipt" of the package when they first sent it to me. I sent it via FedEx. Is there any way to follow up on where the nano could be or maybe find out if I can still get a replacement even though my nano might be lost in transit?

Call FedEx. They will be able to track their own packages. They will let you know if your iPod Nano was delivered and to who!

Color Checker And White Balance

Hello Everyone.
I usually have a shot from my Color Checker and create a Profile for that Day of shooting.
I have Two choices.
1- Click on the Gray Color of the Color Checker for a White Balance, and then Export the color checker as a DNG, and create a profile.
2- Create a DNG from the Color Checker shot, and Later apply the White Balance.
In other words, when you open the Color Cheker in the Camera Raw, It Is a Flat Image. If I create a white balance from the Color Checker
and then, Export it as a DNG to create a Profile Is It more Accurate ?
Dose It make any different ?
NOTE:
I get a better White Balance shooting either the Gray color from the Color Checker, Or a 18% Gray Card, rather than shooting a white color of Color Checker
or Shooting a white paper.
UPDATED:
I was reading this article that you should Aim the Gray-Card one third of angle between Camera and the Main Light or sun.
It says If you hold it flat next to your object It is Wrong.
Is this also how you should Aim the Color Checker One third of angel between Camera and the Main Light ?

In your initial post you seem to be asking if it makes a difference whether you set the WB on the DNG you create your color profile from or not. I don’t know that it makes a difference in the color profile but it should be easy enough to test experimentally, by making two DNGs from the same raw file, one where you’ve set the WB to as low as it’ll go, and one where you’ve set the WB to as high as it’ll go, and make a profile from each and see if you get a different look based on which one you use or not.
Then you talk about which gray patch on a color-checker is better to use for WB, saying you don’t use the white one, but one that is grayer. My idea is to use whatever patch matches the brightness of whatever you are wanting to get the closest to the right WB. If you have a midtone subject then use the midtone gray patch. If you have a light subject use a brighter gray patch, and if you have a very dark subject then maybe use a darker patch, though probably not the darkest because there will be more error in that WB computed from the darker patches, so lighter ones would be preferred if you don’t have any other reason to choose one over the other, though not the brightest one, necessarily, because it could be clipped and unusable.
Finally you’re asking about the angle of the card with respect to the camera and the mainlight. You don’t want it to be halfway between the angle of the mainlight and the camera because that would have too much glare to the extent that there is any glare with the specially-prepared surfaces of the color-checker. You also don’t want it to be flat on to the camera, because that gives too much emphasis to the lighting behind the camera position (blue sky, green plants, red dirt, building walls) as blocked by the camera operator, so 1/3 of the way toward the mainlight angle is a way to mix in the lighting along the horizon with the mainlight to get an average. If you doubt whether this makes a different take two CC shots, one flat toward the camera and one facing the mainlight, as the two extremes of the color balance variation and see how much different they are when eyedroppering the same gray patch in LR.
In your situation, with 100% strobes, your only non-strobe-colored lighting would be from reflections of the strobes off other things nearby. Are you in a completely neutral studio setting and everyone except the model wears neutral clothing? If there are close by light colored neutral objects such as walls and ceilings, then some of the strobe light will likely reflect from the clothing and off the walls making the color-balance tinged with a bit of the subject’s colors. You could minimize this by taking your calibration shots without the subject or any non-neutral-colored objects in the vicinity of the strobes so as to minimize the subject reflection coloring the light. Whether any of this matters depends on how neutral and reflective your studio environment is. If your entire studio is matte black except for the model and backdrop then you don’t need to worry, but if it’s not, then there would be some reason to care.

USSD balance check help

My network operator hes implemented new way of checking my balance. Now it uses USSD . First you send a kod *797# and you get menu to choose from some options (balance check, fun, news... ). I then replay with 1 to get my balance check. Another menu comes to choose (current balance, last month, etc.) and again I replay with 1 ti get current balance. THIS IS THE POINT that things go wrong, instead of info about my accoount , message pops up "GENERAL: ALREADY IN USE !" and back to my standby screen. Finaly after 15-20 seconds new messagee pops up saying "Done". Does any one have a clue whats wrong?

USSD is implemented by your network and your phone is a simple terminal accessing the functions.
If something is going wrong then you should call your network operator.

E51 Balance checking restart Necessary

After calling someone from airtel( Airtel is network operator in India)
if Balance checking is done using *123# immediately after call, you get message balance could not be known. After this, Then Contacts calling wont happen at all and checking balance also wont work.. Restart of phone Necessary
If EDGE is not closed properly and if you send some service command to your operator that moment, then again same issue, restart necessary.
This issue was there in E51 from 100.x.x.x firmware, they never still have patched in their latest firmware till now. Strange.

I have a requirement to Update the user status based on a custom check box value in web ui.
This is needed at the followup for a SR, the component is BT116H_SRVO, Details View.
I created a value node with 4 checkboxes, based on the check box value, the corresponding user status
need to be updated.
How can I reach to the order save functionality of SAP in EH_ONSAVE method, so that syatem can capture my check box value, along with other screen fields, and append the status parameter in Order maintain?
or do I have to call order maintain in even handler for checkbox, which will affect performance .....

Hello Kulkarni,
Either in the Vendor master or in the invoice, check the Automatic payment Transactions --> Payment Block -- Change to Free for Payment.
This should solve the problem.

F110 Debit Balance Check auto block account

on F110 , I run debit balance check and execute the and put block.
Is this really block vendor account or not? I go to FK05 but it not put the block there.

BTE 1820 is used for debit balance check in F110. But after executing it won't put any block in vendor account but it does so in run time when you execute proposal.
At the stage of proposal, it will analyze as per the logic that you have specified in the BTE and will propose you the payment list. If you run again the second time, it will analyze afresh based on entries posted in the system at that point of time..so it won't put any permanent block on any Vendor. It is for the scheme of entries posted at that point of time when you are running proposal.
