Absolute frustration!!! HELP!
Ok, my 20 Gb Zen Touch is going to make me find a large woman and make her sit on it! Its been locking up each time I charged it but now I can't even reset it to free it up again. Last night I was getting off the train and set a song to repeat as I walked to the car. It played the song once and then promptly locked up when it tried to repeat. I couldn't turn it off nor advance the song in any way (as usual). I have a safety pin attached to the stretchy part of the case for just such an emergency (been burned before by lockups and no way to reset!). Anyway, I reset it and the screen went off but the power remained on. It was now locked up in the boot process but it wouldn't turn off. Needless to say multiple tries to reset it failed. I let the battery run out overnight but that didnt help. I recharged it and that didn't help. I tried the rescue mode fix but that doesn't work. In order to get into rescue mode, the Touch has to be off but I can't turn it off. Right now it is a very expensi've paperweight that I want to throw at my neighbor's cat. Anyone have any ideas that I can try? Has this happened to anyone else? The sad thing was that I just saw the 40 Gb and decided to sell this 20Gb and buy the 40 but now I'm debating if I even want to be bothered with another Touch and its lockup problems. I may go to the evil empire and buy an Ipod (**shudder**)! Help me before I lose whats left of my mind!!! Thanks!

sorry to break the news, but i just got my player on monday, it began to freeze up on me the next day and now it is totally frozen, even when i reset and try to reboot in recovery mode. it wasnt even recognized by my computer when i tried to install the latest firmware, which was the supposed antidote to my issue. i called customer service who informed me my product is defecti've and to send it back in for a replacement. luckily, i just got mine. i hope you have a warranty or can send it back for a replacement without any issues. the customer support has been very helpful, in my opinion.

Not rally a question, just wanted to share my absolute frustration with the update of iTunes...this is, without a shadow of a doubt THE WORST application i have EVER used, Mac or PC! And that's saying something with the amount of PC dross that's out there...Apple...PLEASE update and give us back the old version of iTunes...
Pull down View > Show Sidebar. This will give you back the same functionality of iTunes 10.x.x.

i am trying to download itunes onto my computer, and every time i try it tells me it is succesfully installed, but when i look there is no shortcut or any sign of it at all. this is getting really frustrating, help please?

I am absolutely frustrated with this new phone. My old phone, a 3G, took a total dump, so, I bought this new 4G with Siri and I cannot get it to update. I keep getting the same error message that I got with the 3G error "3014". I am ready to throw it against a brick wall!!

my iPhone 4s won't go home, shut down, go to any other app bc its on twitter now frozen there and it won't reboot it wont let me force lock it and its frustrating. help!

Since the last IOS update, I still can't drag distribution lists from my contacts to my email. Apple has been absolutely no help, in spite of contacting them 5 times on this subject. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Absolute links - help - am going NUTS!
This is crazy and is probably really simple but I have been going round in circles allday....
I am trying to hyperlink to an external web site.
I set up the hyperlink with the absolute address however when I publish the site it appears as a link to my actual site then to the external site - which obviously doesn't work. The thing that is really bugging me is that some of my links work perfectly well and some as I have just mentioned.
I cannot begin to understand why this is?

Zen Micro Music Download Conundrum - Really Frustrated Help Nee
<SPAN class=posttext>Man am I frustrated - really frustrated. Here is my conundrum:
I have a Zen Micro. I want to purchase music online. It is a frikin' maze of problem solving. I download from iTunes, they have some sort of proprietary format that my Zen won't play. Okay - no problem. I go to Yahoo music. You have to pay to subscribe and then download. They are wma anyway. Napster is wma as well. Walmart music is wma too. I would try Rhapsody, but I think you have to pay to subscribe and download as well. It just occurred to me - Sony has a music download site as well? I will check them next. I tried converting the Napster wma into an MP3 but I got a message the Creative software cannot convert the file. Arghhhhh.
So - what is the easy way? Is there a site I can pay and download mp3 music files and transfer them to my Zen Micro? Or is there a freeware converter to convert wma files into mp3 files - that is if the downloaded files do not have a voodoo whammy curse on them that prevents them from being converted.
Might "Play for Sure" fix this? As far as I can tell this is for subcription services, not for single downloads.

I've been downloading music from them for a while now, and while I haven't had an MP3 player to try and download the music to, I know that at the very least, music I got from Etomi is on my hard dri've, and I can burn CDs with those songs.
I also know there is some type of way to convert MP3 to WMA and vice versa although I've never done it.

Dreamweaver CS4 html email absolute paths help
Anyones help would be so great to this! I am going crazy.
I have read all posts I can find on creating HTML emails. I find that images in DreamWeaver need to have absolute paths. Ok, I will try to be as clear as possible.
I created the page (email) in DreamWeaver CS4. I connected to my server fine to get access to my images. I also uploaded the index.html file in the server file with the images.
I used Cyberduck to upload the images to my server once I created an FTP Account. Creating the account gave me:

FTP Server: ftp.toledocitypaper.com
FTP Server Port: 21
SFTP Server Port: 22
Within Cyberduck it explains:

Here I find one issue: I created a folder called citytest with my images and when I click Open URL the page opens blank. Here is the URL it generates:

Now I need to generate absolute paths for the images in DreamWeaver. I would think you need to put the http address in the SRC field? Now with files located and dragged and dropped on my page I get a input such as ../Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS4/en_US/Configuration/ServerConnections/Unnamed Site 5/citytest/ADAMSNEWScitcroppedy_15.jpg
Can anyone explain how I can make an absolute path for these images? everything I have enetered for the SRC image doesn't work. I get an image with a broken link when I enter any info I have found.
I also prievewed the html file in Safari and it looks fine with images dragged from server Local files in DW. I click Mail Contest of this page then it shows up in my Mac email as outgoing image. Looks fine for a second then all images turn to Missing Plug-in. The images I tried to enter a URL for in the SRC show up as little blue boxes with question marks.

I can't tell you how frustrated I am in dealing with the online Customer Support process that Adobe has developed. I work for a municipality in CT and for 2 weeks now I've been trying to get Adobe to complete a form and send it back to me. It is a form that is required by law in CT whenever a municipality purchases something. It's a form that is needed for tax purposes. And all it does is request their Employer Identification Number and address. This is something that every other company we have ever dealt with has completed and returned to our city within a few hours. I can't get them to do that and even further, they don't understand what I"m asking for. I have chatted online thru their Chat with an Agent service. I have put in multiple cases. I have called on the phone. And the phone is a whole other ball of wax because I'm obviously calling overseas (India) and they have no clue what I"m asking for. Anything outside of their script confuses the heck out of them. AND I have repeatedly asked them to just call me so that I can explain. And for whatever reason, they wont' do that. This online support process they have is horrible. Absolutely horrible. And I am one that very rarely every complains. Unbelievable. What a joke!

I have been trying to figure out how to add groups to my address book and I have just realized that when I bring the address book up I am missing the buttons on the outer edge of the address book. In other words, the + button to add groups and contacts is not there. There should also be 2 buttons on the top left corner and they are not there. I am sure that this is a very simple fix but I cannot find it and am getting super frustrated right now.
Please help before I blow a major fuse.

Apple TV Frustrations -- Help!
I've had this Apple TV for over a year and get so frustrated when I try to sync any new songs or photos. It takes forever then quits before it's done and some of my albums are then gone that were there before! Isn't there an easy way to connect this to my laptop and sync it??
Also, whenever I try to update the software it says "not available" and I'm still using the original software. It will never download it. So how do I get this. I don't understand why this isn't easy to use like my iPod or iPhone -- should be able to connect it to the laptop somehow to update it Any help is deeply appreciated. I LOVE my Mac toys but this one has me ready to scream.Just patience basically. I have wireless Airport which is not near the AppleTV but I've gotten it to sync a couple of time and everything is there to view which includes about 2,000 photos and 2,000 songs with lots of leftover space. Then when I want to add a few new photos it is so frustrating. It starts to sync and then it takes like 5-10 minutes for each photo and before they all get added it quits and then an entire album is gone. They are still in the library, but the prior album is gone. I also get firewall messages that I can't resolve sometimes. Is there a way to connect the appletv to my laptop to sync it like an iPod faster. Once I connected an ethernet cable to the appletv and my laptop and it work great and zoomed through the sync really fast but I cant' get it to work again?? Getting firewall messages. I have never been able to get an upgraded software to download also -- says not available when I try downloading it on appletv every time over the past year.

My sister has an iPad and an HP printer. She cant' print from her iPad even though a genius at the Apple Store sold the combination to her with the idea that it would be easy to do. Instead, I have to go to her place with my MacBook, she sends me an email, and I hook up my laptop to her printer to print what she needs. Why can't the Apple geniuses come up with a USB cable and an OS update to make it easy and NOT SO FRUSTRATING to print from the iPad?

Updated Pages today - created a document. Went back few hours later to send it as email attachment - got a message saying Pages needs to be updated to open. Went to Mac app page and it said it was updated. Document won't open - what do I do???? Keeps saying to upgrade but it is upgraded - ARGH!
Here is a possible solution.
You should still have Pages 4.3, the old version, on your computer in Applications>iWork09. If you have the old Pages 4.3 running when you open the file, Pages 4.3 will warn you that you need to update because the new Pages uses a different file format. You can open the file in two ways.
Quit Pages 4.3, then open the file.
Right-click the file and choose to open the file in Pages 5.0.
