Absurd activation - I *will* look for illegitimate copies
I am completely sick and tired of the hassles of the activation process. I change Macs once a year. When I bring them in for repair I am given a loaner mac that boots off an external drive that has an image of my drive. Each single ******** time I use a different computer the $#$%&@'ing activation screen pops up. When I call to get the activation to complete as it's obviosly over the limit the idiot on the phone tells me "you're supposed to deactivate the software on the other computer". What kind of obtuse minds at Adobe expect us to say "oh wait, I have to deactivate Photoshop before I reformat this mac to sell it" or "oh wait, I have to bring the mac to the Genius bar, let me deactivate it first". Are you ******** insane???? If every software company was as moronic as you we'd be deactivating dozens of applications when changing computers. Who do you think you are?
This is my last drop - Right now I'm using a loaner macbook as my main one is with Apple again for repair, and here we go with the activation screen again. 'm on the road in a hotel, my cellphone is not working as there's no signal in the room, and I'm NOT going to spend money with the room's phone. And I can't use MY ******** PAID VERSION OF PHOTOSHOP AS IT'S REQUIRING ME TO ACTIVATE IT.
I've been purchasing Adobe for more than 10 years now, but I swear I will not spend a single penny on Photoshop again if the next version has an activation procedure as stupid as this, and I ***will*** look for a stolen/hacked copy to substitute for my retail v9 RIGHT NOW. This is absolutely STUPID and a hassle for the people who do the right thing and pay for their software like I do. You should be ashamed of yourselves, this is not the way to treat your customers.

My itunes has stopped working out of nowhere. When I open iTunes a message appears stating "iTunes has stopped working." and windows closes iTunes sayng it will look for a solution. I have Windows 8.1 64-Bit and have been using iTunes 11.1 (or the newest one out there). I have un-installed and re-installed multiple times. The same message continues to pop up.

Every ID i add on here doesnt work...it keeps telling me that the ID is incorrect. I will find another site if they do not want my money.
Recalling, it definitely was a fake update notification because it had 3 things to install and Mozilla never sends that. The toolbar and some search engine and I don't recall the third, but that was the start of it all. Ever since I have been getting these update notifications. I took you guys advice and used a link provided and went to Fire Fox and downloaded an upgrade. I bookmarked that link and to be safe from now on I will only download it manually from there. It is too bad because for years Fire Fox has been automatically updating but it seems like these phony installers link to a computer and harass them. There was a Google redirect and even a G-mail interference. Next thing I have to do is use those malware and virus cleaners and try and remove any tag links that might be calling these fake update notices. Another one that I think caused trouble is an Adobe Flash Player update. Same thing, Adobe always updated automatically, then it started trying to add these things same as Fire Fox. Thanks everybody, at least I know better what to look out for.

Baseline template - look for specific loopback interface when specifying "ip tftp source-interface"

I'm new to regex and I'm trying to make a baseline template, that will check our network devices for our required basic configuration.
What I'm trying to do is to make a template that will look for either a loopback0 or loopback1 interface.
If eíther one is found (the loopback interfaces will not be there at the same time) it must apply the following command:
ip tftp source-interface loopback0 (or loopback1)
Is it even possible to make an if-then statement using regex?

C# how can i get my program to look for reg install path once found copyfiles
basically what im looking to do is make a installer for a program but its happens when you hit a button like install
maya it will look for where the program is installed via
reg path once found i want it to copy a few files to another directory
also my old vision of my program i had a installer that would install a folder where all the stuff for maya install would be witch i usually put in the following directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\maya 8.5 installer
and i did all my file copys around that like filemove then that dir
but had a lot of issues where people put it in different dir witch made my program

Looking for quick creation of a new contact during activity processing
We are looking for a quick way to create a new contact during the process of activity management. Once I have selected my business partner and then I search for a contact, if the contact I need does not exist yet there are several long involved ways to go create the new contact. Several people from SAP have alluded that there is an add button that should be available on the business partner central search window that comes up when you look for contacts but we have no add button. Does someone know if the add button becomes available later? We are on CRM 5.0 - has anyone customized a way to add a contact here without having to go into the account application relationship tab. We are coming off of Mobile Sales where there is a pop up window to add a contact. We need to replace this functionality.

"Follow-up" button is present to enable a quick creation of follow up.
That is end user can just input those limited fields, and click on this button to create the document without going into the detail.
And at the same time, standard IC do provides another link to the detailed follow up documents to enable user add more detail.
The link "Follow-up Details" can realize such purpose and should be the one you are asking for.
The steps are:
- select the transaction type in the drop down;
- click on "Follow-up Details" link, this lead to another page of the detailed activity creating, only at this time the activity is being created;
- click on the Back button without save, you will return to the previous screen, and get the link in Activity Clipboard for future access;

my 3 year-old macbook pro is very slow. I have run disk utility and virus scan with no improvement. The "beach ball" will spin for minutes at a time when opening, closing or changing windows. Apple Store looked at it a few months ago with no help. What can I do?
Under CPU: 3.5% user; 5% system; 91% idle; 441 threads; 90 processes.
Under System: out of 2GB - 54.7MB free; 530MB wired; 603MB active; 862MB inactive; 1.95GB used.
Is too much of the system memory tied up? If so, what can I do to free some up? -

i have photographed a wedding and i have 650 finished photo's. All came from a 5Dm3 of 5Dm2. All are in raw. The color versions are ready. I have created a preset to convert all 650 edited version to B/W. The key is i will not edit the curve and other light and contrast sliders because, and cropping for that sense since these are all done already. So to make it more simple, i need to silver 650 photo;s in color and B/W. The color versions are done.
I am looking at three workflows:
1 create virtual copies of the 650 photo's, filter them out, apply the b/w preset/ make some small tweakes and export the B/W version
2 export the color version to a 16 bit tiff, import those and the apply the b/w preset/ make some small tweakes and export the B/W version
3 make an extra copy of the lightroom library and then apply the b/w preset/ make some small tweakes and export the B/W version
In option one i do not know how to create 650 virtual copies at once. It seems i can do this only one photo at a time which is to time consuming
In option 2 this is an extra batch and consuming me much more hard disk space
in option three this is workable but i rather stick to one library
Any help in this?

RonaldGo to the library module, grid view. Highlight all your images and create a new collection. One of the options when you create the new collection is to make new virtual copies. The collection will consist of virtual copies of all your original files. Then, just work with the collection and create your black-and-white images. The virtual copies can be exported just like the regular images. So you can export color and black-and-white versions.

I run Firefox 9.0.1 and will not upgrade, ever, unless I see signs that Mozilla has radically altered its development direction and discarded most of the boneheaded, broken, anti-user development that has gone into versions more recent than Firefox 1.x. Actually making your mission statement more than an empty promise might be a good place to start.
Let's see...anything else? Oh yeah, any developer who advocates overriding or ignoring user settings, or taking control away from the user, should be kicked off the team. (and investigated as a possible Government mole, but that's a lot to ask for). I hear Konqueror and Safari are looking for new devs. It gets old fast when you try to get support and instead get haughty "You're doing it wrong, stop doing that" responses. I'm doing exactly what I intend to be doing and if you can't support that, someone else will. If you really gave a damn about your users, you might start by backporting security fixes to previous versions instead of spewing out a cacophony of incompatible new versions so rapidly you end up confusing and alienating users and making them switch updates off entirely. I mean seriously, what happens when Firefox hits triple digits? You could stick a decimal in front of it, and name that build after a historic baseball player who had that batting average. But even then you will run out of players in a few months.
It's truly sad. I switched to Firefox because it was the best browser. But Firefox has been backsliding horribly since around 2.0, and the other browsers seem to be in about the same boat. Firefox IS still the best browser - but only if you use an ancient, unsupported version. Out-of-process plug-ins was made mandatory on Windows Vista and later because Adobe don't test Flash Player's protected mode with OOPP disabled. This change didn't happen until Firefox 14, so there was no need to go as far back as Firefox 9.0.1.
If you absolutely have to, you can disable OOPP by creating the ''MOZ_DISABLE_OOP_PLUGINS'' environment variable and setting its value to '''1'''. Firefox must be restarted for the change to take effect. This works in the current version of Firefox, so there's no need to use obsolete insecure versions.<br>

Firefox is my default browser on my new laptop, with OS Windows 7. I've now had several instances where a Windows popup comes up saying Firefox has developed a problem and may have to close. It also indicates Windows "is looking for a solution to the problem." No solution is found, however, and Firefox is forced to close, with the happy notice that Windows will let me know if it finds a solution to the problem. If there is any tech data on the crash, I'm not sure where to find it, and no Firefox crash report window comes up. I thought it was an anomaly the first time, but this has now occurred at least 4 times in the past several days.
