Abusive group user

A user named SwiggitySwooty has been bothering me and my friends on our GundamFTWest text chats and call groups. He repeatedly makes ablest remarks in a place with a lot of disabled people, and when called out on it becomes an outright bully. He's even made two users go away because of this abuse. I need to find a way to bar him from Skype.

We recently upgrade our SQL Server 2012 SP1 (64bit) dev edition to standard edition, after we purchased the required licence and it was deployed in production.
Since the edition change, we are now receiving the following error, with some of our jobs, which have an e-mail step in them, which is causing the jobs to fail.
Msg 14661,Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_send_dbmail, Line 517
Query execution failed: Msg 15404, Level 16, State 19, Server BL-SVR15, Line 1
Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'BLUELIZARD\savaa', error code 0x6e.
Any ideas how to fix this issue? We were also having a similar error, when executing the jobs, but changing the job owner to SA has fixed this issue.

Hi,
Which user account you used for SQL Server service, domain account or local account?
If it is domain account, are you able to log in to a machine with it?
Make sure that the password of account is not expired.
Also, grant the user Allowed to Authenticate permission and see how it helps.

I want to make a remote connection to Weblogic server and print all the users/groups present in it.
I have gone through the below mentioned site, but I cannot use the same approach since most of the API' are deprecated for example "weblogic.management.MBeanHome;"

I have created custom event handler and integrated it with User Groups.User Members data object.

Azure RMS Group user with Ad-hoc policy

Hi,
In Azure RMS, the group users are unable to open the encrypted documants if the file is encrypted using ad-hoc policy(my policy)
But, the same group users were able to open the encrypted document incase if the file is encrypted using templates(company policy)
so, it would be great if you assist us in resolving this issue.

What I'd really like confirmed first is whether group-lock functionality is available from AD through RADIUS?

For detailed information , look at the MS AD user management connector. The connector comes with scheduled tasks. All you need to specify is from which group users have to be reconciled.

Reconcile AD group users to OIM Organization

How to reconcile AD group users to respective OIM Organization? We have an AD group ADG1 and user added to this group as ADuser1. On running AD Group Recon the ADG1 gets created as organization in OIM but it is not reflecting user in the orgganization. How will i make this happen ?

One way you can achieve that is to write an identical scheduler to one available ootb for Group-Lookup reconciliation. The logic which you would implement here is to fetch the mail-id for the corresponding group users. Once you fetch the details using LDAP API's you can populate those values in a lookup already created in OIM. Precisely this will be as follows:
1) Add another field of lookup type for the 'AD Group member's email' in your child table.
2) Write a class which actually connects to the AD, fetches the group members email Id into an Arraylist.
3) Also populate the lookup provided in step-1 using lokkup API's.
4) Write a custom scheduler similar to the 'AD Group Lookup Recon'. Map the above class with this scheduler.
5) Ru this Scheduler.
For nearly all of this you can refer to the existing code of AD.

Changing existing Material Group user defined names to new mat groups

My client is using conventional Material Groups user defined names for ages in their system.
Now they have requested us to workout for switching over to UNSPSC material groups Global Standardization.
While carrying out the exerice, they have asked us to completely clean up the entire system to replace the new material group with old in all Masterdata, transaction data including statistics table in pr, po, stock and in everything

Hi,
If you change the Material groups in Material master the system the system will not update the PR/PO/Stock or others.
You need to change all the documents to update the New Material groups.
For Material master update you can use the LSMW.
You can update the PR/PO also but if the PR/PO is subjected to Release Strategy then you need to derelease then change the material group then update and if it is based on the Material group then while update the new release strategy will apply and you have to change everything.
Think of that if you have huge data then it is very difficult to change all the documents. if the data is Less you can proceed .
Instead of deleting old material groups just add the new material groups and use them in future for all your process.

11gR2 problem for dba group user

Hi Pavan Sir,
After the 11gR2 Installation and connect to oracle as one of the dba group user(ex: tuser)
1) when sqlplus / as sysdba --> startup nomount --> receiving the error ORA-48189 (The OS command to create directory failed) for the diagnostic_dest(ex: /disk1/oradata/test)location, but the specified directory is created and owned by the same dba group user(test).
2) If suppose the "/disk1/oradata/test" directory permission are modified by 777, the dba group user(test) can connect to nomount stage, but the sub directories of diagnostic_dest automatically gets created (like /disk1/oradata/test/diag/rdbms then etc......) are being owned by oracle user and also if the db is created ,the control file,redolog file and datafiles are automatically getting owned by oracle user but not by the test user.
Which was not the case till 10gR2.
Plz. provide any body provide us with some solution to overcome the above experienced problem which is implemented in our Dev. box.

Even if the perm are changed by -R ,the files are automatically owned by oracle user, not by the test user.
Have any body tried creating oracle database using dba group user in 11gR2, but the db files being created by test user should not be automatically owned by oracle user. If so , plz. forward me the steps.

Whats the best way to create a new group/user with the same (or nearly the same) access priviledge as root.
I am trying to install Oracle (freebie that came with 2.8), I created a group and user called TAC but i have run into all sorts of install issues.

you can specify initial group as 14 and other groups as 10.
group 14 is sysadmins.
You do not want to let oracle have access to any privileges. Give it it's own group and let it play in it's own specified dir.

Enforced disk quota on LDAP group users

Currently, i have created individual LDAP users and LDAP group users. I have created individual network shared folder and common network shared folder with disk quotas enforced. I would appreciate if anyone could help me on how i could allow the LDAP user to access their own network shared folder as well as the common folder with disk quota enforced?

This can be achieved using enhancements in SAP, which could be customer-Exits or BAdi implementations. I think this can be achieved using enhancement(Customer-Exit) MM06E005(Tcode-SMOD) function module EXIT_SAPMM06E_012.Here you have import parameter I_EKKO which will have purchase org and tables TEKPO which will ahve all lines so youc an add a custom check to validate materail based on purchase org.

Registering group (user) administrators

Hi,
Instead of users registering themselves, we want to assign that particular
task of creating the users to a user administrator (not the portal admin) belonging
to a certain user group. On trying this, with the jsps derived on the userreg.jsp,
I am getting the exception with message like, " user should be either admin or
themselves".
We noticed that this can be avoided by assigning the useradministrator to
the group "admin" and choosing that group during logon. We want to avoid this
two step logging, by assigning the userregistration powers (only) to a "user administrator
group".
Is this possible? Saw a note from Ture Hoefner on user group administrator,
can you please elaborate on this for this particular scenario and for the latest
version?

1) U can group users by putting them in a common Role.
2) U can even create a group in SBWP as u do in other mail sites.
3) Or if u need to send Mail or work item to more than one person (Bulk Mail) . Even this can be done by creating a container and adding all of them and using expression u can send bulk mail.
U can use any of the 3 to send mail or work item in a group.

Sharepoint group users enumerate via powershell

Greetings!
While I am trying to enumertae and list all site collections groups users , we also need to disaplay user's email id.
I am able to get lists of users however in some of subsite sites group same AD user's emailid propertly is returning blank.
e.g user john.s is in groups in different sites however while enumerating via script some of groups return blank value in emailid
not sure what is root cause of this and how it can be corrected. any help will be highly appreciated!

Is User Profile Synchronization service application running? Is the SID property identical?
You can try to manually sync the user with AD using the below cmdlet

I tried above cmdlet.
however it resulted in error: You must specify a valid user object or user identity.
Currently we don't have User profile synchronization enabled. However the emailids have not been changed sibce these were created for these AD users. wondering why it dhows up in one of subsites whereas doesnt show email id of same user somewhere
in other subsites.
