Hello,
Im getting the AC_RunActiveContent.js error, I have searched
this forum and it seems usually people are missing some code, but I
have this code in my html, but Im still getting the error, I have
the .js file in the same folder as the test.html

Some servers may have a "scripts" directory that is used by
the web server for special files or scripts and could have the
folder set with different permissions than other folders in the
site. One way to check that would be to rename the scripts folder
locally to say dwscripts, and have DW update links so that the
reference to the above JS file will be "fixed", then upload that
new folder and its contents and try browsing to your page again.

VZW Customer Service is a Joke (3332 Error Still A Huge Issue)

I've been using an old (original) Razr flip phone, and recently had the opportunity to purchase a (never used) Razr2 that missed the 3/2011 update. Before forking over a single penny, I googled the 3332 error. It brought me to these very pages where a very helpful Verizon employee (helpful Verizon employee being an oxymoron these days) named MikeS_VZW posted on several different threads about how to fix the 3332 error.
He posted a direct filepath for store employees to follow, and he also posted a list of phones that the flash would work for. (By the way, all those threads are now locked for some reason.) It was based on this information - a Verizon Wireless Employee posting on the Verizon Wireless Website, that I decided to fork over the money and buy this new phone.
So a few days ago I head to the Encino, CA store and am told that they don't have any computers at all that a phone can be hooked up to and that he didn't think any stores are able to flash phones. But he did go in back and call around. Turns out that the Flagship stores are still able to flash phones and that the nearest Flagship store was in Porter Ranch.
Today I went to the Porter Ranch, CA Verizon Wireless Flagship store. Upon entering I explain that I was sent there from Encino to have my phone flashed. I show him a printout of MikeS_VZW's filepath & instructions. The greeter tells me that he doesn't know why they keep sending people to his store but that he will have someone help me out.
Jean Carlo comes over and I explain the whole thing to him again. First thing that he tells me is that Encino could have done it saving me a extra 30 miles (15 miles each way). Well I say that they told me only Flagship stores could Flash my phone. He tells me Panorama City is also a Flagship store (and only about 4 miles away from me). But whatever, I'm already in the Porter Ranch Store...
I show him the printout and without looking at it he responds that he knows how to flash a phone. He then goes on to tell me that he can flash my phone but if it burns out, which has happened, then they aren't responsible and I would have to pay the insurance deductible to get a new phone.
Again, I WOULD HAVE TO PAY MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET, IF THE VERIZON WIRELESS FLAGSHIP STORE EMPLOYEE RUINED MY VERIZON PHONE WHILE TRYING TO GET IT TO PROPERLY WORK ON THE VERIZON WIRELESS NETWORK. Gotcha.
I told him to go ahead, because if it burned out then I would revert to my super old original Razr and then just wait it out til the end of my contract.
Ten or so minutes later and brings my phone back as it's still restarting and asks if there's anything else. I say no and he walks away. As soon as it restarts I try to download Backup Assistant and I of course get the 3332 Errror.
I go to find Jean Carlo, but he's with a customer...20-30 minutes later, I show him the printout of the filepath that he previously refused to look at and ask if that's the filepath he followed because I'm still getting the error message. He tells me to hold on, takes the printout and goes to talk to someone. 5-10 minutes later Benjamin the manager approaches me and says that they can't follow specific filepaths, they can only flash phones with whatever software they have on their computers which are sent to them by Verizon.
I explain that this is a fix posted to the Verizon Website, by a Verizon Employee and am told that there is nothing they can do and that I should call tech support.
As soon as I got in my car I called 611 customer service to complain about the runaround that I had gotten which resulted in nothing being done to fix the problem that Verizon themselves created. The cs rep (whose name I didn't get) told me that it sounded like an issue for tech support. So my call to complain about getting the runaround results in getting more runaround.
I was transferred to Buddy. I explained everything to him, told him about this forum and asked him to pull it up. He was unable to because their computers are very slow and the page kept timing out before it could load (VERY TELLING). He did mention though that anyone could post on the forums that MikeS_VZW might not be a Verizon employee. Buddy's solution was that he offered to replace my new phone (old, out of stock model, but still new and never before used) with a "like new" refurb. This option would 1) not cost me anything, and 2) not require a contract extension. The only 3 phone choices he gave me are all garbage. I wouldn't take any of those phones if I was offered free service to use them. And even if I were willing to try one out to see if it was acceptable, I'd have to send them my Razr2, so I'd be stuck with the garbage once it proved to be garbage. And since he was unable to pull up this forum to see that there is a fix, I asked to speak to a supervisor.
I was then transferred to Brandon. While his computer was super slow as well, he was able to open the forum and see the filepath that MikeS_VZW had posted. I asked him to verify that we are in agreement that MikeS_VZW is (or at least was) a Verizon employee. He conceded that it appeared that he was. A lot of back and forth later, he promised to call stores in my area to see if he could find one that could and would be able to fix my phone. But before he did that, I asked him if he was able to open the filepath that MikeS_VZW had listed. He tried and said that it had been moved to a different location. He looked to for in that new location and still no luck. Therefore, if he wasn't able to find it, what was the point of asking a store to follow a path to a destination that didn't exist.
That 611 call lasted 02h 01m 31s. Plus the 45m-1h I spent in the Porter Ranch. All for nothing. All because Verizon has obsolete information posted in it's help forums.
There was a reply to a (now locked) post dated as recently as February 13, 2013, a mere month ago, saying that they went into a store in Columbus Ohio, and that store was able to fix the problem. Why does one hand not know what the other one is doing.
Is there anyone else that has had this issue resolved recently?
I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for over 10 years, since before it was called Verizon Wireless (I started with Airtouch). Slowly but surely, year by year, month by month, and day by day, their service, as in customer service (not wireless service) has steadily gone downhill. They do not care about their customers. They only care about their customers money.
I have 3 phones in service with Verizon, and as soon as the contract expires on the last one in July, I'm dropping them as fast as they drop calls in the canyons.
Q: Why create that update in 3/2011 that removed functionality from all the basic/non-smartphones?

1. Jim, the only reason my phone is "obsolete" is because Verizon decided to make it "obsolete". Otherwise, it makes and receives calls and texts without issue.
2. We are not all customers here, Verizon employees are constantly posting on these boards.

HT1848 I get an error message when I try to transfer my apps and it says I have to authorize my computer. I have authorized my computer many times now and the error still pops up

I tried to sync my iPhone to my macbook and got an error message. It said some of the items purchased on my iPhone could not be transferred to my iTines library because I am not authorized for them on this computer. I have followed the instructions and authorized my computer. I did this many times and I still have the same problem.

Can you tell us what text is in the part that you can read ?
Is it a message from Firefox or from the Mac Operating System ?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Mini HDMI adapter to 55" tv, Not Available error, still see screen

basically i have a Mini HDMI adapter connected to my 55" tv, I have run the tv all day like this with no problem watsoever, but now an error message has popped up over top of (i can still see all the computer stuff i should on the tv, using it now actually) but the error message says (Not Available) i'm assuming this Not available message means that the connection is not available to the computer, but its in the middle of the screen over top of my streamed computer, my computer is running on the tv still, it just has the "not available" error right in the middle of the screen & won't go away.

Update again, error has popped up again & won't go away this time.
Did i get a faulty adapter? I know the HDMI cord itself is good, as well as the port on the tv as i have used both with other devices without problems

& just a guess, this error has occured when opening full windowed items such as a video i tried playing, & then a game i tried opening, it was fine each time running safari & skype until i tried opening those full windowed items, would that make any difference? if i can fix it again i'll try my theory,

Type Library Registered - but error still present.

I am trying to automate this equipment = "Goniomertic
Radiometer LD8900R".
The installer included a LabVIEW library that references a new Type Library.
So, I manually registered my type library (Gonio32.tlb). It was successful.
However, I am still having the same error "Error -2147221164 occurred at Class not registered ..."
What am I missing?

Unknown Error - Still!

I posted about a month ago about an unknown error that I had been getting when I try to save an AI file. Thank you for the suggestions to help. I have had my memory checked and have more than enough. I have uninstalled and installed AI again and still am having the same problem. And now, when I click on one of my exsisting AI files, it only shows up as a preview. I had to open up through AI. I am on Mac 10.4.11 with CS2. Any suggestions again would be appreciated. Thank you.

That was not a good idea.
You just erased the application you will have to try to reinstall.
They way you trash the preferences is
First quite Illustrator and then;
Go to Users/username/Library/preferences/Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings folder and trash that settings folder.
Why did you not come back and ask how to do this if you were unsure?
Before reinstalling go to the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/Add Remove Illustrator or Creative Suites if you have the suites and run that application to remove remaining parts.
Then trash the setting folder and further down in that same preferences folder there is a file called com.adobe.illustrator.plist
trash that as well.
If you do not understand this do no go ahead and do something you think sort of a similar thing so it must be ok. Come back
and let us know what you don't understand.

Forbidden Screen - Error: "Still waiting for root device"

Greetings to all! I come to you with my boot troubles as a supplicant, in the hope that someone can help.
I have a PowerBook G4 15-inch, pre-Intel from late 2005. Until today it always worked and rarely hanged. All I've ever needed to do when in trouble was reboot. I've updated the Apple OSX software regularly and have never touched the hardware, except once 18 months ago to add memory. All I do with this machine is use it. It's been weeks since I installed any new software.
There were no warning signs before the problem started today.
FIRST SIGN OF TROUBLE: The machine was unusually slow, showing beach balls on every minor move. I powered down conventionally and later turned it on again. After a minute I got the "Forbidden Sign" grey screen, which I had never seen before. So I rebooted, and got that again.
+I turned to the only other available machine (very old PC, unfortunately) to browse for solutions, and have so far tried the following:+
1) BOOT FROM INSTALLATION DISK: Forbidden Screen. After a couple of attempts I removed the disk (by clicking trackpad on power up). At some point, in desperation, I even tried Disc 2.
2) RESET PRAM (Command-Option-P-R on power up) : I got three chimes, then the grey screen. It stayed on the apple and gear for many minutes. At least it never went to the Forbidden Screen.
3) FILE SYSTEM CHECK (Option-S on power up) : After a few steps it shows error messages (see below) and starts repeating, "Still waiting for root device," over and over.
4) RESET NVRAM (Command-Option-O-F on power up) : I got a blue screen with text and was able to input "reset-nvram" (response: OK) and then "boot." Result: Forbidden Screen.
5) SAFE START (Option on power up) : Forget it. Forbidden Screen. Same when I try it with "C" as some sites recommend. Same with or without the Install Disk in the DVD driver.
6) POWER MANAGEMENT UNIT RESET (Shift-Control-Option-Power): Subsequent boot still produces Forbidden Screen.
*THE ERROR MESSAGES*
Here are some of the messages when I start up with Option-S:

In the meantime I have succeeded in booting via the Install Disc using Option on power up. The Hardware test shows nada wrong. Disk Util repair goes up to "Rebuilding Category B-Tree" and then fails. Frustratingly, the HD is somehow visible, because the diagnostics correctly identify it and give correct values for empty space. Right now I'm running the Erase Free Space option and it's working - how is that possible? I've gotten into Single User mode and tried various FSCK commands. Sometimes it comes back with the superblock error and "Bad Magic Number" which I believe indicates a corrupted block within the boot sector. I can't figure out how to reassign without reformatting and losing the data. This will cost me a few weeks of data, but really not that much work - still set me back by days.
Next step will be to start taking it apart, as you suggest, starting with the easy matter of trying with just one DIMM or switching the DIMMs.

AFP errors still

Hey all,
Running SLES10.3/OES2.3. OES side is fully patched. I'm still getting AFP errors in the messages log file. Actually a lot of errors. Below is just a sample. It's almost non stop. Anybody know what these mean? Are they really errors or notifications? Is this normall?

Imessages not sending/ receiving. All texts made to other iphone users produce an error message where it shows as it was unable to deliver, however, the messages go through, but error still comes up after each imessage sent. this does this for each text

I have the Iphone 5S. Over the last few days, I continually get mail delivery errors when imessages are sent to any contacts who have iphones. I have spoken to my friends/ family who are also on the receiving/ sending end of my messages. They also say that they are receiving an error/ mail delivery error when they send imessages to my phone. Text messages are working fine (with other phones that are not iphones) and no delivery errors come up. However, it is just with me sending or receiving imessages. I have gone in to settings> messages> send & receive and all my information is right. I have also attempted to cut the phone off and back on (hard reset as well) and this has not fixed the problem. I then explored to see if my software was out of date, however, i have the most up to date software for the iphone 5 S. Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem, as it is annoying to both me and anyone else who has an iphone that sends me a text/ imessage as it will *alert* that there was a delivery failure.

There could be a problem with iMessage, although usually when there is an outage these boards are flooded with problems. It could be a very isolated issue, and if just started all of a sudden, it might be something at Apple.
Although it is annoying, I would just wait it out a few days and see if it goes away on its own.

Firefox not starting after update to 3.6.11 from 3.6.10 on vista platform. XUL error report. Uninstall including removing mozilla items in regedit or system restore does not resolve issue. XUL error still reappears after reinstall ? in English

Problem exists on my HP C0mpaq 6720s , Vista operating system.
System restore, restored to version 3.6.3 instead of 3.6.10 . This did not start either. Previously, I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to remove all Mozilla items, checked regedit and removed all Mozilla folders, then reinstalled 3.6.11 from your website. Mozilla would not start and XUL error stated 1.9.2.10 followed by min 1.9.2.11 and max 1.9.2.11 . This was the same error report that appeared after the automatic update.
So I am at a loss and without Mozilla .

I have successfully resolved this issue on my PC by allowing updater.exe through the firewall. This updater.exe is located in the folder where your Mozilla Firefox was installed. The default folder is "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updater.exe"

Runtime Error still not fixed in Reader 9

Just downloaded and installed Reader 9 on my Win 2003 server machine.
As soon as I start it up, I get the dreaded C++ Runtime Error:
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."
Then, boom: Reader closes down. Furthermore, I can't double-click on a PDF file name, and I can't open a PDF in a browser. In both cases, I get the same error.
Re-naming updater.api didn't fix the problem. Re-installing Reader didn't change anything, either.
In doing my research, I see that this defect has plagued Reader users for several previous releases; i.e., for years now. That in itself is just incredible.
What's worse: The defective installation of Release 9 just wiped out a perfectly functioning Reader 8.
So... Does anyone know how to fix this annoying snag?

One of the few issues with Acrobat 9 that is peeking above the radar is the C++ error when launching Acrobat 9. There are two things that seem to be resolving the issue. One is to uninstall, delete all Acrobat leftovers, and then reinstall. However the solution that seems to be fixing more cases is a new admin user. According to Scott Worthington several of his cases were caused by users not having the correct permissions. That is they were domain admins instead of local admins. The best way to create a new admin user in these cases is to use the "back door" approach of creating the new user thru Administrative Tools/Computer Management. In the Computer Management window right-click on Users under Local Users and Groups and from the context menu choose New User. Fill out the fields at the top of the window and then uncheck User must change password at next logon. After the new user is created right click on the new user name and choose Properties from the context menu. Go to the Member Of tab and click New then add Administrators to the list. Use the "Check Names" button to make sure the group name is correct.If it is correct it will become underlined. It needs to be capitalized and must have an "s" on the end. Click Apply and then OK.

A user has the authorizations in his UMR, but error still appearing

Hi all,
I have an issue with several issue in a company i am working for. The issue is the following:
When a user wants to do something SAP gives an authorization error for an authorization that the user has in his UMR. When i remove any other role, the user can execute the transaction.
I have seen the RZ10 looking for auth/auth_number_in_userbuffer but it does not exist!!!! what can i do????????

Firstly, auth/auth_number_in_userbuffer is obsolete. Check for parameter auth/new_buffering. The value should be set to 4. Also, ensure that the PFCG_TIME_DEPENDENCY job is scheduled and running every day.
Refer to SAP note 209899 for more information on the new parameter.

Netbeans deployment error still exists

Thanks for you suggestion sir, i tried netstat and it is listening for port 8080, now how should i stop that service or program using it coz as far as i know i did not install tomcat which generally uses dat port ans sun application server is using 4248 port as i see it in netbeans, so how should i know which program is using dat port ans stop it. i used "telnet 8080" command and it says "Connecting To 8080...Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed".
i searched for server.xml file on my system and found abt 3 copies of them , they could be some temporary files or of my previous installations of tomcat and they are using port 8080 but i am not able to modify this file and the files are as follows:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Directory 3 for tomcat.zip\tomcat\conf\server.xml
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Directory 7 for jakarta-tomcat-5.0.14.zip\jakarta-tomcat-5.0.14\conf\server.xml
But i am using apache- tomcat s/w
D:\apache-tomcat-6.0.10\conf\server.xml and this is not using port 8080 as i see in server.xml, but right now i did not add this server in netbeans and i am only trying to run with sun java application server and it is giving me deployment error.
i even tried running my application with apache-tomcat alone by adding it as server in netbeans but it is also giving error saying "Access to Tomcat server has not been authorized. Set the correct username and password with the "manager" role in the Tomcat customizer in the Server Manager.
See the server log for details."
i tried setting the username as "ide" and password as "ideide", my owm, but it didnt work, how do i set them?
please help me asap

- If you open the windows task manager and move to processes tab, do you see anything that is related to tomcat? If so, you can try killing those processes.
- As for the password: You should see a file called 'tomcat55.properties in the userdir (name may be slightly different depending on the version of tomcat), if a tomcat server is registered with the ide. (Similarly the file 'glassfish.properties' should be present for the sun java system appserver). For info on user directory, please take a look at http://blogs.sun.com/karthikr/entry/jse_directories.
- Have you tried using a different port for the appserver?
- In the runtime tab, after expanding the 'servers' tab, do you see any tomcat servers registered with the ide?

N76 Nokia Maps ERROR - STILL not fixed

My N76 has been updated to the latest firmware, but the nokia map application available on the nokia site is not compatible. It says Update Error, and I don't know why. I've used it on my other phones (n5800 and N97), but it won't install on my N76.
There has already been a post about this, but no solution has been given. This is really an emergency.
Any help would be appreciated.

One of the few issues with Acrobat 9 that is peeking above the radar is the C++ error when launching Acrobat 9. There are two things that seem to be resolving the issue. One is to uninstall, delete all Acrobat leftovers, and then reinstall. However the solution that seems to be fixing more cases is a new admin user. According to Scott Worthington several of his cases were caused by users not having the correct permissions. That is they were domain admins instead of local admins. The best way to create a new admin user in these cases is to use the "back door" approach of creating the new user thru Administrative Tools/Computer Management. In the Computer Management window right-click on Users under Local Users and Groups and from the context menu choose New User. Fill out the fields at the top of the window and then uncheck User must change password at next logon. After the new user is created right click on the new user name and choose Properties from the context menu. Go to the Member Of tab and click New then add Administrators to the list. Use the "Check Names" button to make sure the group name is correct.If it is correct it will become underlined. It needs to be capitalized and must have an "s" on the end. Click Apply and then OK.
