Disable "Import From Enterprise" Option
Hi All,
I am using trial version of Xcelsius Engase Server 2008. There are some issue with this.
1) I want to connect this with Live Office. While In Manage Connection option i am not getting Live Office connectivity.
2) In file Menu "Open From Enterprise" option is disabled.
3) In Data Menu "Import From Enterprise" option is disabled.
To enable the "Any Map Add-on" option I have used this version.
Now can anyone tell me in which trial version, i got all these feature?
Or is there anything that i was missing to enable all options.

Anil - You need to have BusinessObjects Xcelsius Enterprise installed to work on Query as a Web Service (QaaWS) or LiveOffice...

I imported files from an external hard drive to Itunes on a new computer. they imported & play fine, but the ratings & playlists are gone & i am unable to update any info. I found a file name playlist on old drive & imported now most files are missing! Help!
Can you locate the iTunes Library.itl file on the old drive? Ideally you would have simply copied over the entire iTunes folder structure from <User's Music> on the old computer into <User's Music> on the new one to transfer the library will all playlists, ratings, play counts etc. intact.

We are currently running on OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2. We would like to merge Two Repositories. Well, in addition to "Merge" option we have, we were trying *"Import from Repository"* option but in vain. It is showing the following error:
*[nQsError: 12033] A client tried to connect to a server that is not of the right type*
I understand this option is of low precedence from Oracle and its support. But, just want to know if anyone have used this option and encountered this error. If so, any workaround u wanna suggest. I appreciate any support.

Import from Repository option disabled in offline mode
We need to import usage tracking information from UsageTracking.rpd into our current rpd. For this we shut down BI Services and opened our repository in offline mode. In the Admin Tool when we click on File->Import , the option 'from Repository' is disabled. Any suggestions on why this option is disabled by default in offline mode and how we could enable it.

By default, the Import from repository option on the File menu is disabled. When this option is enabled, the Deprecated feature warning dialog box appears each time a user begins the import. If the user clicks yes in the dialog box, the import process continues. If the user clicks No, the import process terminates.
To turn on this option Do the following step
tool->option->General And in that the last option is[b] Allow import from repository
Check this box.

Sorry, we've tried to update Premiere Pro cc 2014 but the update failed. Now the option Retry doesn't work. There is other options to solve the problem? Now premiere don't start at all. Thank you in adva

"Import from Elements" option not available on File menu...
I'm trying to import my PSE 4.0 catalog into Lightroom 2.2, but the "Import from Elements" option does not appear on the file menu. I suspect this is due to the fact that PSE is not installed on the machine.
My circumstance is that I'm moving to a new computer that runs Vista Home Premium 64-bit. Since PSE 4.0 is not compatible with Vista, I cannot install in on the new machine, and have used an external drive to move the catalog and its contents to the new computer.
I would appreciate any help you can offer.

PSE 4 is one of the Vista application compatibility patches included in the above update. I don't know how well it works and am not absolutely sure it works with 64 bit. -

I think you are trying to syndicate an XML file from the MDM Syndicator.
You will require an XML schema for this.There are two methods for this:
1) You can upload the schema in the Console.
2) You can take it locally from syndicator.
The root is very important as it identifies a correct schema. If you are not able to see the root, that means the XMl schema you are using is not correct.
If you have a customized repository and hence do not have an XML schema then you can generate one by using the Xomlite software. Here is the link to which explains the process:

After you generate the XML schema using Xomlite, upload it under the Admin node->XML schemas for that repository
Then open syndicator Go to File->New/Destination proeprties
Select type->XML schema
Remote system and select the XML schema that you have uploaded.
By this procedure, you will find the root element and then you can perform the mapping in the syndicator.

Where did the "now playing" option in the music app go?
updated my phone yesterday and now the "now playing" option in the music app is gone. Does anyone know how to get this back so that when you stop a song/close the app you can pick up where you left off in your play list when you reopen?

Before 4.0 I could right click on an open tab and start a new tab. Now the option to do so is no longer on the right click menu, and I have to click the plus sign if I want to open a new tab. It is kind of bugging the hell out of me. Is there a way to fix it other than uninstalling and reinstalling the old firefox? Because this is a big part of the way I browse.
You can also use ctrl-T or File > New tab (if you have the menubar showing). I can't find an extension that will help you bring back the previous behavior but there probably will be one soon.

On my iPhone 5C the words (Import Now) at the top of address book.
well to make a short story long, someone (not me) told them since they were running out of room on their laptop, to move their photos to an external drive.
so they moved those 3 folders to an external drive. but all the other stuff inside the iphoto library icon/folder, like the .db files and the .xml files, is not there. they're not on the external drive and it's not in the home > pictures > iphoto library folder. instead there is a new blank library folder on their home folder now. i think it's a pretty big snafu.
if the rest of the database info is hiding somewhere and i can restore it, that would be awesome! but it might be pointing to the photos as they were in the home folder, before they moved them to an external drive.
i hope this didn't make things more confusing than my first post! i will go hunt for leftover files, and ask more advice if i find them. but if i can't find them, i will do as you have instructed and just import the "originals" folder.

No center & LFE audio on ac3 import
I am using Premiere Pro CS6v.6.0.5 with Surcode plugin. I am creating a project for final output to BD.
When I import any 5.1 ac3 file into the 5.1 track in the timeline the center channel and the LFE channels are not audible.
The ac3 file does include all 6 channels as verified in Audacity
When importing as 5.1 there is no option to map channels in the Audio Mixer (mapping pucks, changing levels not visible)
All channels appear in waveform when I double click on file in bin.
All channels appear in the bar graph Audio meter and Audio Mixer panels
No C/LFE heard.
As a workaround I tried importing ac3 as 6 channel mono on standard tracks where I do have the option of mapping each channel in DD format (L,R,C,LFE,LS,RS)
I map each channel as above, leaving the levels in the default position.
All channels appear as waveform when double clicked.
All 6 channels appear in the Audio Mixer but only 4 show in the Audio Meter panel (no C/LFE).
I have Center channel audio to edit with, however, after encoding, all audio is mixed into channels 1,2 & 5,6 with no audio in channel 3 & 4 (C/LFE)
This is confirmed using Audacity to check the channels.
Now if I move the C/LFE pucks to max position when editing I will lose the C/LFE audio to edit with but there are now 6 channels appearing in both the Mixer and Meter.
When I encode the project the channels will map properly, however, if I bring the file back into PP there is no C/LFE audio once again.
Is there a setting that I have missed that is causing the C/LFE not to be played back and ultimately encoded improperly?

Thanks!I have tried both leaving them in the default position and adjusting them to the Dolby Digital L,R,C,LFE... - the issue remains. I have also determined the issue is not only with ac3 but with wav as well. This leads me to believe there is a mapping issue here. Perhaps if I start afresh. What is the correct Audio Output Mapping and Rt click>Modify>Audio Channels settings for using a 5.1 ac3 DD file so it can be encoded properly? I will start there and work forward. Thanks again for any ehlp.

Subodh.Hi Subodh. I have encountered the exact same problem. It seems that the Import & Export options under the File menu are now removed starting from version 7. This leaves another exact (yet longer) way to do this.

No Import aperture library option after upgrade 06 to 08

I don't have GraphicConverter and since it is shareware and money is tight right now, I tried to find a freeware image converter on the internet for the Mac. I didn't. I remembered that I have Photoshop Essentials. It came with my Canon scanner. I installed it and looked to see if it had a converter of some type in it. I saw that you can import a file, work with it and then save it to what you want. I thought that I had already done that with the Nikon files. Anyway, I tested it. I imported one of the Nikon images into it and saved it as a jpeg- even though it appeared to be a jpeg already. Bingo! It worked. It imported into my video editing program. I selected two other files from the Nikon shots and did the same thing. I change the name of the picture and then save it as a jpeg in Photoshop Essentials 2. The two files imported into my video editing program. I then went to the two original Nikon files that I had imported into Photoshop Essentials 2 and changed the names of them- leaving the jpeg extension on to see if they would import, they did not. So, as you said, there must by some kind of Metadata with those files. Bringing them into Photoshop Essentials 2 and saving them as jpegs fixed it. Because of what happened, I just went through my approx. 4,000 pictures and selected about 1,400 again for a new family DVD. I created folder and exported 1,446 jpeg pictures into it. Then I opened by video editing program and imported the folder. All 1,446 pictures came in. I didn't try it with FCE and iMovie, since I the program I regularly use is Adobe Premiere. I may try it later, but I am pretty confident that if the pictures can be imported into Adobe Premiere, they can also be imported into FCE and iMovie(unless there is a number limit.)
All this has taken place over several days. I am glad that it is figured out.
