AC411 pairs via Bluetooth to my Latitude E5440 but won't function as it says it needs a driver

I have a 6-month old Dell Latitude E5440, running Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1, 64-bit.
My partner bought a brand new Windows 8 computer from Dell last week and AC411 speakers with it. They work fine together.
I would like to play music from my Latitude. The speakers pair fine on Bluetooth (although the icon shows up as a headset not as speakers) but the device won't function as it tells me I need to install a driver. However the Dell website says there is no driver available.
Help!

Hello Chris, and thank you for your answer. But no, that didn't work. I'd done all that already, in fact.
My laptop is paired already to the AC411; my Dell laptop knows there is a Dell AC411 and it's listed under my devices as a Dell AC411 under the category of Bluetooth headset (with a headset icon). But its status is that it needs troubleshooting and when I click on 'troubleshoot' it tells me that it needs a driver but can't find one. And then when I look on the Dell website, it says there is no driver. 
And just to be clear, there is no evidence that the headset icon shows the device is enabled, and there is no check box to listen to music.

    It may be the best source of assistance is the manufacturer of the device. I suspect you will need a specific app for the iPhone to get it to work, but the site is rather ambiguous about that.

    I can't get to pair via Bluetooth my iPhone to the iPad the iPhone doesn't recognize the iPad, only the hand free of the car.i have shut off the wifi, put it back on, shut off the data roaming put it back on, nothing. Any suggestions?

    And, exactly, what are you trying to do? Your phone won't pair with your iPad, by Bluetooth, unless you're trying to Tether...file transfer, by Bluetooth is not supported on any iPhone. So, unless you're trying to Tether, you can quit trying to pair...it won't.

    After updating my Iphone5 to iOS 7.0.6 it would not pair via bluetooth to my 2008 Acura TL. I have deleted the phone from the car and the car from the phone now the phone will not find the car.

    I have that same issue. Using 7.0.4 and earlier I was perfectly fine. Then I upgraded to 7.0.6 and immediately lost my speaker. I downloaded 7.0.4 image from Apple's website and tried to shift+click the restore button to restore to the 7.0.4 image, but Apple has BLOCKED that due to the security flaw present in that and prior versions.
    Looks like we are stuck with this problem until Apple releases 7.0.7 or the new 7.1 they are working on.

    Please stop posting in ALL UPPER CASE; it is considered SHOUTING, is harder to read, and is considered rude.
    If you have not yet done so unpair the car kit from the phone, or better yet reset it completely, Forget the car kit in the iPhone, and pair it anew.

    We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
    You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE!  After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

    I do not think it is supported. Try search apple's support page for bluetooth and iPad. I found this but there are others.

    iPhones will only pair with computers for tethering (sharing an Internet connection).
    As for the car kit, is it in pairing mode?

    i am new here but came on for the same reason, iphone 5 not tethering via USB to my PC.
    After speaking to Apple tech support and being told by one of their "senior techs" that the iphone 5 is not designed to tether via USB only wifi or bluetooth I thought it best to look around on here to see if there are any suggestions.
    The problem I had was as follows (in case anyone else has the same);
    a. iphone connected to pcvia usb and pc recognised phone (itunes synced and network connections says connected).
    b. personal hotspot on and identifies "1 connection"
    c. IE and Chrome both unable to open pages as saying no internet connection.
    Seems like there are many on here with the same issue but not fix.
    I HAVE SOLVED THIS after hours and hours!
    1. Go to ..... Control Panel > Network Connections
    2. Right Click on Apple Mobile Local Area Connection (should say it is connected)
    3. Click on Properties
    4. New window comes up. Click on Advanced tab
    5. Under Internet Connection Sharing header, tick the box that says "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection.
    6. Click the OK box at bottom of window.
    Since doing this i have been connected to the internet and finally able to open emails etc.
    I hope this helps other PC users. I should probably point out that I am by no means a computer specialist and so cannot confirm how secure this connection is so if anyone out there can advise on this and maybe of a safer way to activate the connection then please feel free to let me know.

    As the title states, how many? One, two, more? If so can they be used simultaneuosly? For example pairing it to my aftermarket car stereo for music streaming, while also pairing to the factory bluetooth for phone calls.

    I have a question specific to your Zomm..  I'm thinking of getting one for my husband, he has BT in the truck he uses with his iPhone 4, I've  read reviews about the zomm creating problems in the vehicle, phone can't be connected to zomm & vehicles BT hands free at the same time. So the zomm alarm goes off until the BT  is reconnected? What's your experiences with the zomm? Looks to be a handy gadget, but if it interferes with the trucks hands free I'm not sure he'd like it very much.
    Would love to hear your opinion on the iPhone, hands free bt in a vehicle, & zomm combination..

    try this method:
    You need at least a USB mouse. If you don't get any option to pair a keyboard, click through the setup until you get to the "Create Your Computer Account" screen, right click in any of the text fields and select Substitutions --> Show Substitutions.  From there click on text preferences.  The preferences pane will popup and from there you can just click the back button (next to show all) to get to the full preferences menu.  Next click on keyboard, then select setup bluetooth keyboard and you're golden.
