AC97 related file is asked for after installing Audigy2 ZS

I unistalled AC97 drivers and installed that for Audigy2 ZS and Audigy appears working. Now my problem is rebooting the system causes an error message "The file 'Audio 3D dll' on Realtek AC97 Audio Driver Disk is needed" is displayed. Device Manager indicates that "Multimedia Audio Controller" with exclamation mark is in Sound, video and game controllers. I removed it but it came back after rebooting the system and so does the error message. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I am not able to add video files to my itunes after installing itunes 10.7.0.21

I Have been using, Ipad for only around a month or so (Ipad 2), and it was only yesterday that i tried to use the Itunes. I first downloaded the latest itunes (10.7.0.21), and took backup of all my Ipad data.
After this, I wanted to add some video to my ipad, as it was essential to add the same to My itunes first, I roceeded to do just that. I went through this command {File - Add File to Library}, and then went on to select the Video file. There's just a flicker, and then nothing happens at all - the itune screen remains, and there is no error message too. Whereas, I can easily add Audio Files.
After this, I even downaload the latest Quick time (7.7.2), as I had read somewhere that the same is necessary. When I tried to open the Video file in Quick time, it did not open. After that I downloaded the codec DivX and DivX player. Though the Video plays in DivX, it refuses to open in Itune and does not play properly in Quicktime (slider moves, but sound and video is not there).
Frankly, I am utterly confused.

After upgrade to maverick - file sharing ask for permission to open files

after updating to maverick. my files i share with my office pc. can't open the document & ask for permission from the computer or administrator for asstiance. very time i have open up info and push "apply to enclosed items". for to get these to open and work. worked fine before maverick. seems its not to keepping the sharing and permission info. need help! plus I have tryed to use it in drop box ,plus in other folders but they all seem to be doing the same thing. Or do I have to go back to mountain lion or lion?

Follow these instructions to uninstall MacKeeper. They have been tested with the most recent version of MacKeeper (v 2.8). Earlier versions than the one released in 2012 require more extensive work to uninstall all its components.

You will be asked to authenticate (twice):

Just click the Uninstall MacKeeper button. You will be asked to authenticate again.

Machines but now every time I open any of iLifes apps it say there is a update would you like to open software up date if I click yes it comes back all is up to date. Why is it doing this and how do I stop it. I have done the X.4.8 2X now but this has not helped.
I have the combo update on the mini downloaded from the apple site.

Ah! Cardinal sin WRT OS X. Don't move Apple installed items from where they were originally placed; otherwise, updaters can't find them. One might ask why Apple couldn't put in a search routine, but with over 200K files and 20K folders, that's asking for great delays while sorting things out. Glad you fixed the problem.

Syncing files with Windows 7 after installing Lion

I keep my original files on my iMac desktop and sync with my Windows 7 laptop via home network. After installing Lion I have been unable to sync offline files. Was working fine with Leopard. When I run sync center from the laptop it gives me an error saying all the files are in use by another process. None of the files are open on the mac so not sure what is causing it. I have fiddled with permissions on the mac but doesn't seem to make any difference. Anybody got any ideas?

I have the exact same problem: Win7 64-bit, and even waited for the Lion Server 10.7.3 update hoping the problem would be fixed... but NO, the same problem is still there.
Symptom: client is a Win7 laptop, the server is Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion Server with SMB and AFP shares. Win7 Offline Files stopped working after I upgraded Snow Leopard to Lion Server. It keep saying "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process". Some other WinXP clients are fine with the Offline Files though.
I Googled and studied online for several days now and it might be related to the "Oppurtunistic Locking", or "oplocks" for short, in the SMB protocol. Since Apple has re-written SMB, there's no "smb.conf" anymore to change oplocks setting. Does anyone know how to change the setting in "com.apple.smb.server.plist"?
From the Internet:
1. Oplocks should be DISABLED on the server if there is any other file sharing protocol (AFP) other than SMB.
2. Offline Files will NOT work if Oplocks is disabled on the server side.
3. It was possible to config oplocks setting in smb.conf before Lion but now there's no such file anymore.

After installing a deployment, the location of NI_Excel.lvclass is expected to be at ...\VIs for <project name>\SupportVIs\Excel\NI_Excel.lvclass (see attachment)
but the path of the file is located at ...\VIs for <project name>\SupportVIs\data\NI_Excel.lvclass
In the deployment image, under the target folder, the file is in ...\VIs for <project name>\SupportVIs\data\NI_Excel.lvclass
and the lvproj finds the file.
The lvproj in the installation finds the file in ...\VIs for <project name>\SupportVIs\data\NI_Excel.lvclass
Renaming the folder from data to Excel fixes this problem.
Has anyone else run into this problem?

I am facing the same issue when I create the TS deployment through utility using TS2012.I thought of adding the file to the Teststand workspace and give the destination in to supportVIs directory.But even tthat didn't worked as it was copying all excel vis in to two locations.
Even adding the Directory path in to TS search directory options to "\data folder" is not resolving the issue and LAbVIEW Vis are not able to locate it.

I understand you are getting the error PDL_Common during installation.
When you get the error try directing it to the c:, windows, program files or program files x86, then hp, laserjet to see if it is listed.
Try running the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows. (Win7 and Win8 only)

Reinstall of CS3 keeps asking for after effects cs4

i'm trying to reinstall CS3 and midway through the installation process, it asks me for after effects cs4. i don't own after effects cs4. i've installed trial versions and then uninstalled them using the uninstaller. please help -- adobe tech support refused to help because cs3 isn't supported. they sent me here. =(

Z22 Hotsync using Vista - won't sync ebook files - then asks for reset

My Z22 asks for a rest everytime I hotsync and then the file (an ebook pdb) doesn't load to the hand held. previously I have tried it a few times and finally got the file on the hand held, but I tried numerous times with one file and it ALWAYS asks for a soft reset (date and time are correct - just have to acknowledge this)
Also, the Z22 won't hold more than one ebook. I'm sure this is not a full memory issue, as I have enough space for a few books.
Can anyone help?

Lost files in premiere pro after installing photosop

hi, I lost all my premiere pro files after installing photoshop. The same happened probably 3 months ago when I switched from full package subscription to just one program. Any help with that? is there a way to get my files back? I didnt backup my computer and I did put probably 3 hours of work into it....
please I'm desperate

If you cant undo (cmd +z) try to open an older autosave.

Does the new osx transfer all my files and so forth after installing?

Or do I have to do a back up before I install Lion, and then after installing Lion add the files. ??

You should always have good, up-to-date backups.
Especially before doing something major, like upgrading OSX, "just in case".
If you just install Lion on your Snow Leopard disk/partition, it will replace OSX and the default Apple apps with new versions, without disturbing anything else.

Trying to install patch for PS6, but repeatedly asks for re-install of application manager

Have Windows 8, and Photoshop CS6 screen frequently flickers to black. Dowloaded Adobe patch for fix. However, patch installer blocked by rep
eated requests for re-install of adobe application mamager.... which I have done. Any ways around this? thank you.

I paid for PDF software which is PDF factory Nitro PDF cute opdf easy pdf etc but the problem is when Idownload a file it asks me for a serial number, I just click the close icon and I continue in the pdf format, can you give me this serial number they keep asking me for

pdfFactory and Nitro PDF are 2 separate software products which are not made by Adobe Systems - they are made by other software companies. Please contact these other companies directly to get your serial number.

In "Open with" I chose the program from the list and mark "use always the selected program to open this type of files" it asks for it time after time, every time
