Academic eligibility

I purchased Acrobat Pro XI through the Academic Superstore as a higher education teacher. They approved my eligibility. How do I send in my eligibility documents to Adobe to obtain a serial number for the product? I have a Faculty ID, a website at the university site, and a letter from the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. What is needed?

  • Academic eligibility for CC subscriptions

My wife currently has a student and teacher copy of Photoshop CS6. If she starts an academic subscription to Creative Cloud products, will she be able to maintain that subscription at the academic rate when she retires, or if she changes career and leaves the educational institution?

Stiffwin she will only be able to maintain her eligibility while she is employed by an accredited education institution.  You can find more details on the Education FAQ at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/education-faq.html.

  • Academic proof submission

I purchased a one-year membership of Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition. Yet, I can't find a way to submit my academic eligibility proof. I found some answers that say pick "Submit proof" in "My orders" page, but I don't see that option. Please help, thanks.

As far as I know, you are supposed to receive an email with instructions
    Otherwise, try ID Proof http://www.adobe.com/store/au_edu/academic_id.html

  • I need a phone number to speak with a human being.

Does anyone know how I can find a phone number to speak with a real live human being about a software purchase which I've paid for but can't download because they say I haven't provided proof that I'm a teacher (which I have already uploaded twice). I'm so frustrated!!! Trying to be nice and reasonable is getting harder and harder.

Uploading photos and videos taken on your iPhone to your computer should be quite straightforward. You simply attach your iPhone to the computer with the USB cable that came with your iPhone. The computer should recognize your iPhone as a camera and start its photo handling software.
There are instructions on exactly how to do this for the PC and Mac here:

  • My Creative Cloud Student and Teacher account was suspended but I was still charged

    Hi,
I had a  Creative Student and Teacher subscription while I was employed by a school.
In November 2013 I was asked to submit a proof of eligibility.
    The email said:
Note: In order for Adobe to fulfill your order, academic verification is required.
You credit cards will not be charged until your academic eligibility is approved.
I have finished my work with the school by that time. Therefore I could not provide any proof. I stopped using the product. However, my card was charged for December, January and February in the following transactions:
    02/03/14 $22.98
    01/02/14 $22.98
    12/02/13 $22.98
Since these transactions were not consistent with the email I quoted above I was wondering if this issue could be resolved and I can get reimbursement for these stransactions.
I appreciate your help and I do really appreciate your work,
    Best regards,
    Dmitry

  • CS3 Student Upgrade to CS5.5

I just want a simple and straight answer. Can I upgrade my student licence CS3 to a commercial CS5.5 with a standard upgrade?
When looking through the forum, some people say you can, others that you can't.
I need to know so I can make the choice of whether to purchase the upgrade or if I have to purchase a new version. I would be really irritated if I purchased the upgrade and then was told that it was not an upgrade that I could use because of the student licence.

    YES!
Simple and straight enough for you?
I believe some of the confusion is because there are no academic to academic upgrades. If you still have academic eligibility you would buy a full academic package.
But once you’re done with school, academic licenses carry full upgrade rights.
Just make sure you buy the right upgrade. For instance…here’s a link to the CS2/CS3 to CS5.5 Design Premium package (which is 20% off right now): http://amzn.to/kZOsu7
    Hope that helps,
    Bob

  • Attemptimg to "buy" the Student edition of Acrobate XI Standard. When I click "Buy", nothing is displayed to continue my purchase.

    On this page https://www.adobe.com/au/products/acrobatstandard.edu.htmlhttps://www.adobe.com/au/products/acrobatstandard.edu.html
When I click Buy for the student edition, the small box it is located in changes only the icon for acrobat, the message that Purchase requires verification of academic eligibility and a small x in the top right is displayed. I assume there should be text or a button to continue my purchase however none is displayed.
I have updated Java, and have tried in both the latest version of Firefox and Chrome.
PS, Is the student edition free? No price is listed.

    Hi Luke,
Please try using a different browser and check.

  • How do I find me serial number?

I received a confirmation email that the proof of academic eligibility was accepted and now I need to access my serial number to open Photoshop.
Where can I find the serial number?

I am not entirely sure how it works with Student/Teacher licenses, but with normal perpetual licenses, you can log on to your Adobe account, and go to 'My Orders'.  (Or similar wording)
That would be for CS6.  For CC, simply install the Desktop Application manager, and sign in.

  • Purchased new Adobe Reader and it's not in Recent Orders so I can download it

    Hi,
I recently purchased the new Adobe Reader software under the education rate. I was informed that my academic eligibility was accepted and to go to "My Orders" page and I will be able to locate the new software there. However, I can't find it anywhere. My Adobe account was set-up with a different e-mail than the e-mail I provided the Adobe salesperson over the phone, I wonder if this is why I can't locate the product. I need help ASAP since my trial runs out today!
    Thank-you!
    Rebecca

I purchased - Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Student and Teacher Edition (Windows,Universal English)
So it wasn't just Reader. So how would I go about having the download sent to a different e-mail address?

  • License definitions ...

    Guys,
I have spent nearly two hours trying to find out what the difference is between, Student, Education and Commercial.
A reseller in NZ is saying that I can use an Education license for commercial purposes without academic proof. This doesn't sound right to me, there has to be a restriction.
You would think that this information would be blindingly obvious but I can not find it anywhere here.
Some posts say that it doesn't come with Font Software ... some posts say that it means there is no upgrade path. I could live without either of them if I can have it for commercial use.
Does anyone know for sure? Can anyone link to an Adobe article that details there.
    Cheers Dave

I only know the rules in North America but they are as follows:
Student: Heavily discounted and usually sold directly through the
school. Once the software is received you must contact Adobe for a
serial number. Must be eligible to purchase. NO COMMERCIAL USE ALLOWED.
Academic: Steep discount but not as much as the student version. Must be
an eligible student or teacher to purchase. COMMERCIAL USE ALLOWED. Full
upgrade rights to commercial versions if academic eligibility ends.

  • Submitting academic proof for Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition

I was contacted to validate my academic status for a Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition I purchased via adobe.com on May 14, 2014. The Education FAQ page (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing /education-faq.html) states:
"Submit your proof of eligibility when you place your order. If you have a pending order, go to My Orders in your Adobe account, and click Submit Proof."
However, when I go to My Orders page, there is no link saying "Submit Proof". I do have my proof readily available, but I am not sure how else I can submit it.
I was told my subscription would be canceled in if I could not prove my academic status within 14 days (it was sent on July 2nd), and am still awaiting a response from Adobe Customer Support. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you! This page helped.
I also read through another thread (Where to submit proof? No submit proof button) that provided a link where I could send proof.

  • Please Help With Academic Proof for Lightroom!

I got the version of Lightroom that you download, and I need to provide academic proof. When I go to the "My Orders" page, I click on the "Submit Proof" thing like I am supposed to, but then nothing happens. It doesn't bring me to a new page or anything. It just sits there and when I scroll over "Submit Proof" the box that popped up before is sitting there with a loading circle inside of it. No matter how long I leave it there it doesn't do anything. Please help me!

If a different web browser still is not resolving the issue then I would recommend you contact our support team to submit your proof of eligibility directly.  For the best assistance, I recommend our chat support at http://adobe.ly/tuMwkC.  Our chat representatives can provide a personalized experience to resolve the issue you have described.
