  • Customization of existing bean of VOImpl class

    Hi Team,
We have a number of requirements, where we are facing a difficulty that we are not able to customize the bean classes or the VORowImpl or VOImpl Classes in fusion apps.
Requirement is something like, there is a existing logic written in bean, on button click,
Now we want to extend that logic, but I am not able to find any way to customize the existing bean or any java class, this is giving me less flexibility in fusion which we use to have in OAF.
Can you please provide some light here, if we are missing something on the side of the java.
Because in ADF, if java customization is hidden then 80% of the requirement comes from the customer, will not be feasible for us to deliver.
Which was anyway done in the OAF.
    Please suggest.
    Regards;

There are two things you mentioned here:
    1. Bean Code
    2. VORowImpl code
For Bean Code yes there is no way to customize that. You cannot customize java in Fusion Apps. One of the solution would be to raise those requirements through Oracle Support. Product teams might suggest alternate options to customize such functionality via other artifacts where customization is allowed. If that is not possible then it would definitely be raised as an Enhancement Request.
For VORowImpl a lot of time they are in fact not the right place to hardcode any business logic. Declarative validations, adding transient and non transient attributes etc is already supported. A lot of developers get confused when they dont see VORowImpl not getting changed or unable to customize that manually being a java file. However, all the declarative changes on VOs which affects the VORowImpl are written in .xml.xml files and saved into MDS to be applied at the time of application startup.
    Hope this helps!

  • Computer Telephone integration with CRM

    Hi ,
We have a requirement to integrate existing Interactive Voice Response system,Computer Telephone Integration and Automatic Call Distribution with proposed SAP CRM. In order to integrate them we would like to use third party adapters from companies like AMT,SIEMENS,Genesys etc..
    1. Does any one has experience in integrating these tools ?
    2. Or is there any other better approach for the integration with CRM?
    Thanks for your time.
    Sunil

    Hi Tony-
I am vinod, working in Accenture, India. I am a genesys engineer, have little knowledge of SAP CRM.
We made a successfull  RFC connection to gplus  in sm59, then i tried to create a telephony server in sphb, but this connection test failed. Am i going in the right path, or is there any other way to do this.
Is maintaining telephony server in SPHB mandatory or is there a similar setting in CIC0 configuration?
Can you please let me know how this can be done. Please provide me if you have any documents on this.
    Thanks in advance

  • F.27 Customer Account Statement

    Hi SAP expertise,
This is my client requirement were implementation is going on. Requirement is that instead of Customer Account Statement {F.27} is getting spooled it should be mailed directly as per the email id mentioned in Customer master.
Right now thru Spool we can send mail. But during the execution itself instead of going to spool for print it should mail the PDF file directly to respective customer.
Is there any customization for this or some correspondence type to be changed were insted of print it should be mailed.
    Pls help on this
    Thanks in advance
    Ranjit
    Accenture India.

    Hi,
there is no way to do this with F-27, if you want automatic emails to be sent you will need to configure a workflow. That, however, is not part of financials, you will need to go to the workflow module.
    Kind regards,
    Rudolf

  • Want to Integrate Fusion with EBS R12

I want to integrate Fusion CRM with E-Business Suite R12.
But im new to this integration part. I referred in forum and in meta link. Still i didn't get any approach for this.
Some one says i need to install Oracle Middleware (SOA & Web Logic Server).
I am bit confusing about that.
Is it necessary to install Middleware We can't integrate Fusion with EBS as a point2point integration.
Can any one give step by step processes how can i achieve  this.
Some one can help me to solve this.

There are multiple ways for the integration,
But first I feel,  the clearitity of the requirement is important, the details required
    1. Is it a single module you are planning to integrated.
    2. A full integration between the fusion and R12.
Do you need Fusion for its reporting purpose or you are going to insert data both the places, hence first the requirement should be more clear

    urgently
    thanks

    Hi Ramachandran,
There is a seperate book in sap Press for interview question but will cost a lot and i dont think it is easily available in India.
But then, if you are aware of Webdynpro for Java, you dont have to worry a lot. Since Webdynpro is a new technology, People who really want to recruit people will stick to basic questions.
I can give some examples below
    1. What is adaptive RFC and How to Use it
    2. What are the table variants and how to use each of them
    3. Can ask about tree and trees in table.
    4. What is singleton and supply function
    5. Some basic Portal Admin Question.
    6. basic customization question using HTMLB
    7. What is the diff between Adaptive rfc and adaptive web servie and who to use both.
    8. Diff between drop down by key and drop down by index.
    9. diff between Link by action and link by url and other Basic UI questions.
    10. Might ask about merge functionality of NWDI if used.
    11. Might ask about dynamic Ui and Context Generation
    12. and So on.
I have attended Few interviews and know many of those questions. I cannot put every thing here.
But Dont worry. If the interview is for Selecing people and not to show ego of how good the person who is interviewing is , will ask basic to understnd how good the candidate is in understanding basics as rest all have the document in SDN.
    Hope it helps.

How can I know, the status of interview.please let me know.31st July in anyways was not too long in the past. Why you are in such a hurry? You do know I hope that they must have not interviewed only you and there would be many like you and its not at all a wise thing to call back all of the candidates and tell them what they have scored, at least not so early. Wait for some time( and this surely is not going to be few days) and if you would qualify for the next round, someone would call you. No one over here and/or else anywhere would be able to tell you about the status.
and when will be the list announce.... List? You mean like we have in colleges? Well I don't think that there would be any "list". They would hire who would be right for them.

  • Message for Mr. Babu, CEO of Lenovo India

    Dear Mr Babu,
I own a Lenovo B310 all in one machine, purchased from Croma.
I had filed a complaint about my IdeaCentre B310 All in One on 10th of August 2011 with Lenovo helpline.
I had bought this machine in June 2011 from Croma Ahmedabad.
On 12th of September a person came to our house from Silver Touch Ahmedabad and took pictures of the computer.
Since then I have been calling your helpline regularly to know the status of my complaint.
No one has replied about what LENOVO plans to do to resolve our complaint.
I HAVE ZERO RESPECT LEFT FOR LENOVO INDIA AT THIS MOMENT.
I believe that Lenovo should either return my money or replace a new machine free of cost, as i have zero faith left in your service centers.
LENOVO HAS CAUSED ME MENTAL ANGUISH AND I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN THIS MNC BECAUSE OF PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE IN INDIA.
And I am not even mentioning my hard earned Rs 42,000/- which i paid for this badly designed machine.
I have already sent you an email to [email protected] with some images as well as pdf containing previous email thread regarding my complaint with Lenovo.
The new complaint id is 4270478577.
The product is under warranty til 2014.
As an educated consumer, I understand that a company cannot sell a product for which the parts are not available. What is the meaning of giving 3 year warranty then?
If you do some google search on this product, you'll see that there are many other consumer angry with Lenovo India's attitude.
As you can read in the attached pdf, your local service center in Ahmedabad, India (Silvertouch) stated that the parts were not available. There statement strengthens my claim.
If Lenovo cannot repair the product under warranty, it should refund me my money. I am not even mentioning the mental anguish caused to me due to all this. I am afraid of buying a new gadget thinking that I'd be ill-treated as a consumer.
If Lenovo India did not have the parts for this model, it should not have sold it to me in the first place. In that case Lenovo should either replace my machine with a new one or refund my money. Going by Consumer Protection Laws, what i have written here makes perfect sense.
The standard reply I keep getting from Lenovo's side is also attached below.
I am not going to accept this ridiculous excuse and neither should you, Mr Babu, as in your interview published on http://www.varindia.com, you answered the question "How is Lenovo's support network spread?" by saying that "I think after-sales warranty is a critical element for the success in any industry, more so in the computer industry. At the end of the day, it is an electronic product and a complex electronic product.  Today, we reach 130 cities directly. Through our hub and spoke model, we reach over 300 cities. And, we will continue to invest. We work with our outsource partners, IBM being one of our most important partners in this area, and we want to provide very effective after-sales service."
I hope you will keep the promise you make as the chief of Lenovo India.
