"Accept connection request from MyComputerName" ev...

Hi
I've successfully setup Nokia PC Suite to synchronize with my N95 via Bluetooth.
However... after upgrading my N95 to the latest firmware, I now get the following question on the phone every time PC Suite tries to synchronize:
"Accept connection request from MyComputerName?" Yes/No.
I have to answer Yes to synchronizes.
How can I configure the phone to trust my PC?
/Thomas

It's the same with all paired bluetooth devices (your PC, your headset, etc). Go to the "paired devices" tab under Bluetooth on your symbian mobile, select the device and "set as authorised". Works for all N and E series phones. For pairing with computers, you shouldn't need to do anything extra on the PC side.

    HP 8600 plus OS X, will not accept a print request from the registered address at hpconnect but will print a request from the address that comes on the printer. I have tried to change the factory settings and i get a message from Hp connect that there is a printer error.

    Hi Bill,
    Bit of a strange error, I would recommend calling HP's team - they helped me out with my printer, and were very good:

  • How do i accept a request from pin blackberry messanger

    i had a request for the blackberry messenger service which a friend sent but nothing has come on the program to accept he enter my pin number in the add a contact and i not recieved anything also i done same to his pin and its showing as pending
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    First make sure that you can send back and forth PIN to PIN messages to each other.
    When they add you as a contact you'll get a message that someone wants to add you as a contact and that you need to approve it.
    To add a contact to the BlackBerry Messenger Contacts list, complete the following:
    On the BlackBerry smartphone, open BlackBerry Messenger.
    Display the menu and click Add a Contact. The Select Address screen appears.Add a contact from your address book by clicking the contact name. Or, add a new contact by selecting Use Once, entering the contact email address and clicking the trackwheel. The contact email address is added.
    Display the menu and select Request Email<user_name>. The Add a Message screen appears.
    Click OK. The Add a Message is sent to the contact. You may customize this invitation before sending it. The contact is added to your contact list once the invitation is accepted.

  • Airport Extreme won't accept password request from DirecTV wireless adapter

    My Airport Utility is running on PC (Windows XP). The DirecTV wireless adapter "sees" the network, and I get to the password screen but it can't get the password approved by Airport. Anyone know a fix?
    I've already updated Firmwear, rebooted everything, etc. Other wireless things working fine including new setups, so it's not the router unless I need to change some settings
    Thanks, Marty

    wyhoser, Welcome to the discussion area!
    Are you by chance using WPA or WPA2?
    WPA: You can use WPA if you upgrade your iBook G3 to OS 10.3. See KB 107795, AirPort Card: When You Can Join a WPA Network.
    WPA2: Sorry, but the iBook G3 can not join a WPA2 protected network. You will need to drop back to WPA or WEP.

  • Every 2nd request from WTC fails

    Hi there,
    We are using WLS 10.0.1 integrated with Tuxedo 6.5 and have this strange situation where every second request sent from WLS to Tuxedo fails with "TPESYSTEM(12):0:0:TPED_MINVAL(0):QMNONE(0):0". There is no other associated message.
    Our call sequence consists of:
    ApplicationToMonitorInterface connection = tuxedoConnectionFactory.getTuxedoConnection();
    Reply reply = connection.tpcall(requestMapper.getServiceName(), requestMapper.getTypedFmlBuffer(),
    ApplicationToMonitorInterface.TPNOAUTH | ApplicationToMonitorInterface.TPNOTIME);
    process reply
    connection.tpterm();
    The tpcall is throwing a TPException on every second invocation. The amount of time (seconds or minutes) that passes between invocations seems to be irrelevent. I've tried various combinations of flags passed to the tpcall, including zero, with no apparent difference.
    I turned up WTC logging to try and troubleshoot the issue. Log fragments are pasted below.
    Note that the same reader thread "ExecuteThread: '4'" appears to be used for both calls, suggesting that they are both making use of the same TCP connection.
    A tcpdump of both calls reveals (apparently complete) outgoing request and incoming reply data in both cases. However, it looks as though WTC gets its input stream out of sync and (possibly) reads left over data from the 1st call. WTC ditches the connection when the 2nd call fails, so the 3rd call starts off with a brand new connection again.
    Any ideas?
    Please excuse the bulk, but here is the trace from the successful call:

    Hi Todd,
    Thanks for responding.
    The Tuxedo developer here has provided me with the following information:
    The Tuxedo version is 6.5 and the patch level as seen in the last line of $TUXDIR/udataobj/patchlev file is "389. CR093934 TUX 6.5 > HP-UX 11 64-bit /Domain is unable to connect to 32-bit domains"
    The OS, Tuxedo is running on is: "HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/800 485721183 unlimited-user license"
    In the Tuxedo ULOG file, I can see that the MTS service has received the request from WTC and the response being logged as well, without any error. However immediately after the request is completed, error messages is logged. The extract of this message is shown below:
    130843.focdevapph001!GWTDOMAIN.4780: LIBGWT_CAT:1130: INFO: Disconnected from domain (domainid=<WTC_OBF>)

  • E63 bluetooth connection request

    Ola! How do I get my Nokia E63 to always accept the connection request from my laptop automatically? It's really frustrating when I'm syncing to have to accept about ten times. Thanks in advance for your help!

    It would take awhile, but I would probably reinstall OS X 10.10 from the recovery disk.

  • Would you accept a Linkedin connection request if you didn't know the person?

    I accept people who I have done business with, friends and relatives. The only people on my linkedin that I don't know have previously added recruiters.
    I'm now very happy and settled in my job though so have stopped allowing recruiters.

    Nelson9480 wrote:Apart from head hunters and recruitment firms, no I don't add anyone I don't at least vaguely know.01smicha wrote:No I wouldn't unless it was some form of recruiter.Scammers arealso creating fake or semi-fake business profiles. • Accepting connection from client

    Hello,
    I want to create java server which accepts connection from client once and then continuously waits for request sent by client. Something same as select() call in C
    Something of kind
    Server.java:
    Socket socket = server.accept();
    while(true)
    // listen for request ,
    // if request received , create new thread for processing
    // return response
    I don't want to accept connection again and again
    Edited by: tryit on Aug 29, 2008 11:41 PM

    Thanks for the reply.
    But even in this library, an new thread is created which keeps on doing accept() in while(true) and after accepting connection , another thread is created to do the processing.
    But i want that once the connection is established between server and client i.e once accept() is done then just using that socket rest of processing i.e read()/write() is done , no need for accept() in while(true)
    I have something like this
    SenderReciever.java
    public class SenderAndReciever
        private ServerSocket server;
        private int port = 6000;
        public SenderAndReciever()
            try
                server = new ServerSocket(port);
         catch (IOException e)
                e.printStackTrace();
        public void handleConnection()
            try
         Socket socket = server.accept();
             /* PROBLEM AREA */
             /* This while loop results in infinite loop .
              * if i move Socket socket = server.accept() inside while then it  accepts one connection
              * returns a response but then waits for another connection to be accepted
              * But i want connection once accepted , use the same socket for rest all communications
         while (true)
              new ConnectionHandler(socket);
         catch (IOException e)
              e.printStackTrace();
        public static void main(String[] args)
            SenderAndReciever senderAndReciever = new SenderAndReciever();
            senderAndReciever.handleConnection();
    }ConnectionHandler.java:
    class ConnectionHandler implements Runnable
          private Socket socket;
          public ConnectionHandler(Socket socket)
             this.socket = socket;
            Thread t = new Thread(this);
            t.start();
          public void run()
             try
                readData();
                processData();
                sendData();
             catch (Exception e)
                e.printStackTrace();

    Hello there Patss213,
    If your iPod Touch is telling you to connect to iTunes and when you do, you are prompted to Trust the computer but are unable to due to the device being disabled, you will need to put the device into Recovery Mode and restore it with this article:
    If you can't update or restore your iOS device
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
    Keep in mind this will delete all information on the iPod, and you will need to restore it from a backup:
    iTunes 11 for Mac: Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
    iTunes 11 for Windows: Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
    iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • Error Message "The Remote device or resourse wont accept connection, not set up to accept connection from port https"

    I get this error message when trying to open and log into an online casino "The Remote device or resource wont accept connection, not set up to accept connection from port https".
    I am on a desktop computer my connection to the net is with a USB Virgin Mobile hotspot device.
    I also have issues with some downloads not installing right for instance SKYPE wont work. If the problems are related I don't know
    Thanks

    Starting in Firefox 14, Firefox will guess an address and place it in the address bar (AutoFill feature). If you have ever connected to the site using a secure (HTTPS) connection, then Firefox will try to connect security to the address suggested by the AutoFill feature. To work around this you can:
    * Edit the address to force Firefox to interpret your entry literally. For example, if there is a trailing / you can remove it.
    * Turn off the URL bar AutoFill feature and just use the AutoSuggest drop-down.
    * Clear Firefox's memory of the site so it doesn't default to a secure connection (however, this also removes any bookmarks you have to pages on the site).
    To disable the in-address-bar autofill without losing the suggestions that appear below the bar:
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type or paste '''autofill''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click '''browser.urlbar.autoFill''' to toggle it from true to false. You're done with about:config and you can close this tab.
    "Forget about this site" will clear cache, history, bookmarks, and permissions for the site, and probably any saved certificate. There are two ways to get to this:
    * History > Show All History, right-click an entry for the site > "Forget about this site"
    * Type or paste about:permissions in the address bar and press Enter, then select the site from the list on the left side, and click the "Forget about this site" button on the right side
    Depending on the size of your history and cache, this may lock Firefox up for a minute or two while everything is cleansed.

    How do I accept a request?

    Hi kmarm,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
    I would suggest deleting the app from your iPhone and redownloading it:
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • Accepting connection from multiple client

    Hi, i try to open a port on the server and allows others client to connect to this port and sent in data. It works well when it's 1 server to 1 client relationship. But when i turn on 1 server to many client connection where all the client will connect at the same time... none of the client data were capture in the server. Here is my code :
    Server code:
    static class Listener extends Thread
              public void run()
                   ServerSocket svrSocket;
                   Socket soc;
                   try
                        svrSocket = new ServerSocket(20);
                        System.out.println("---------------------------------------");
                        soc = svrSocket.accept();
                        System.out.println("---------------------------------------");
                        BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(soc.getInputStream()));
                        String strTest;
                        while((strTest = in.readLine()) != null)
                             System.out.println("SEE THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!! " + strTest);
                   catch(Exception e)
                        e.printStackTrace();
    Client code:
    socClient = new Socket("10.1.8.101", 4444);
    outPrintWriter = new PrintWriter(socClient.getOutputStream(), true);
    outPrintWriter.println(strWrite);
    Can anyone help me??? IT"S URGENT....
    THANKS

    Your code will only handle one connection at a time currently. To handle more connections it needs to be reorganized, see below. Also, you may be having a problem with binding port 20 in your server and trying to connect to port 4444 in your client. These ports obviously have to be the same or its never going to work at all! :-)
    Without getting into thread pools and stuff, this is a sample of how you might want to organize your server.
    import java.net.*;
    import java.io.*;
    import java.util.*;
    public class SocServ implements Runnable {
        // running flag set to false to stop server.
        public static boolean isRunning=true;
        // set of servicing threads, if needed.
        private static Set servicers = new HashSet();
        public void run() {
            ServerSocket svrSocket;
            Socket soc;
            Thread t;
            // open the server socket, error if port is in use, etc.
         try {
                svrSocket = new ServerSocket(4096);
                // accept connections, and start new SocServicer threads.
                while (SocServ.isRunning) {
                    soc = svrSocket.accept();
                    t = new Thread(new SocServicer(soc));
              SocServ.servicers.add(t);
                    t.start();
                // server finished, close socket
                svrSocket.close();
            } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); }
    import java.net.*;
    public class SocServicer implements Runnable {
         // socket connection being serviced...
         Socket s;
         public SocServicer(Socket soc) { s=soc; }
         public void run() {
              if (s==null) { return; } // for sanity
              * Do all the interaction with each socket here.
    }The idea is to run one thread that listens for connections and then spawn new threads to process each connection. This way one connection does not have to wait for the previous one to finish. For a serious application you will probably want to do some more careful management of the SocServicer threads [because each thread eats up memory & resources].
