Accept license agreement button not enabled - Further question

The accept button can be seen clearly but not responding when clicked.
Have tried 2 advance solutions :
Solution 2 :
after typing "regsvr32 jscript.dll" and press Enter,
error 0x80004005 invoke DllRegister Server  fail
Solution 3 :
     in the folder
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\product_version
         cannot find  sub-folder   AdobeViewer
          and can only find   sub-folders
                                                   Installer
                                                   InstallPath
                                                   Language
      and hence cannot proceed further

I have no idea personally but it might be useful to post a screen shot including the greyed out accept button (and other windows)

  • Cannot accept License Agreement

I've recently reinstalled Windows (XP x32, SP3) and am now encountering a problem that I have never had before. After installing Acrobat Reader (8.1.2), I go to launch the program and it comes up with a blank white window (assumably the License Agreement) which I cannot do anything with. Closing this window brings up error message 'The License Agreement was not accepted. The application will now quit.' I suppose I could just use an older version of Reader, but I shouldn't have to. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.

Since Reader is a different product, you might try that forum

  • Adobe's  "accept license agreement" pops up way too much and ruins UX

I got a work PDF today from the boss. I opened it up, and about 3 seconds later acrobat reader *shut down* on me while I was reading.
Up pops the accept license agreement box.
It pops up every day ot two for each product. It's like Adobe just can't remember that I have a valid subscription. True, I use a Mac and a Windows machine.
But stiil, the Cloud should know I'm activated and pay.
Can Adobe fix this so the experience is better ?

  • License agreement buttons do not respond

I have seen a number of similar problems around this forum, but because none of these threads seemed to be active, I posted a new one.
    The problem is the following:
I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 on my Windows 7 Dell Studio 17 laptop. Installation works fine, but at the first start of the program, I need to accept the license agreement. No matter which buttons I push, none react. Also changing the language does not work. Nothing seems to respond. The only way out is to manually exit the program via the task manager.
Things I tried to fix it:
Uninstall, reboot and new install of Acrobat
Uninstalled Internet Explorer (because I have seen some posts on conflicts between .dll files belonging to IE and Acrobat
Manually added registry values following this post.
Manually register via command prompt following this explanation
BTW: I have installed Adobe CS5, can that have anything to do with it?

Had the exact same problem and tried all the previous tips to resolve, including registering the jscript.dll.
Thanks to the genius who posted the answer on another 'windows' forum (wish I could find that again).
Create a new local admin account (add that account to the administrator group).
Login to the new account and launch Acrobat. Then (hopefully) you can click "Accept" to the license agreement.
The registry key it creates is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\AdobeViewer\EULAAcceptedForBrowser (DWORD=0x00000001). Not sure if you can just manually add the registry value as I had already fixed it by creating the new local account.
After it accepts the license agreement, you can go back into your normal profile and run acrobat. yea!.
Thanks adobe, that was 4 hours of my life I'll never get back. There's only been dozens of posting with people reporting no fix and they spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this.   You even had the same problem with previous verions, what gives? I have not found the above resolution anywhere on your forums or in the knowledgebase. This simple process could have saved me hours of my time; not to mention I just spent $1800 on the CS5 suite and now I'm already frustrated before I even have a chance to use it.

  • Not letting me accept License Agreement, so It won't run!

After installing, re-installing and un-istalling and re-installing I still have the same problem: Once the program (8.1.2) is installed (Vista system) I try to use it and the License Agreement appears, and I clic "accept" and nothing happens, then I clic "decline" nothing happens, so I close window by clicing on the "X" and a pop-up informs me the agreement was not accepted and the program will exit and does.
Any ideas what I need to do to get this to work?

  • ITunes 10.5 won't run after accepting license agreement

I've been searching message boards for the past 2 days trying to figure out what's going on but have found nothing. I'm running Windows XP Pro. I updated to iTunes 10.5 only so I can update my iphone to IOS5. The install went fine without any errors. When the installation was complete, I double clicked to load iTunes 10.5 and it opened up the software agreement screen, I clicked agree and then agreement window disappears and then nothing, just nothing...
I have done this several times. I've uninstalled itunes and reinstalled itunes, still the same thing. Then I went drastic and I uninstalled every single bit of apple software on my computer and then downloaded new versions from the apple site and reinstalled everything only to get the same result! No matter what I do, everytime I try to run iTunes 10.5 it only opens the software license agreement screen and does absolutely nothing once you click "accept."
I've looked at all of the processes running and itunes appears in the process list once I run it but then after I agree to the license agreement, it dissappears from the process list after a few seconds.
    This is ridiculous.

Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows)
Configure Internet Options (for Windows computers only):
Run iTunes Diagnostics. If the "Secure link to iTunes Store" section does not pass, do the following.
    Open Internet Explorer.
From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
    Click Connections.
Under "Dial-up and Virtual Private Networking," choose "Never dial a connection." It may not be possible to choose this if you’ve never used dial-up Internet; if this is the case, skip to the next step.
    Click LAN Settings.
In the window that opens, enable the option to "Automatically detect settings" if it is not enabled.
iTunes uses Internet Options proxy settings. Apple recommends removing proxy settings that interfere with access to the iTunes Store if needed.
    Click OK.
    Click the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Security section and look for the option to "Check for server certificate revocation." If it is enabled, disable it.
Look for Use SSL 3.0 and Use TLS 1.0. Make sure at least one of those two checkboxes is selected and click OK (You can select both checkboxes).
Apply any changes, and restart your computer if you modified the option to "Check for server certificate revocation" (step #11).
    Rebuild network information.
    WindowsWindows XP:
From the Start menu, choose Run.
In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
    Windows Vista and Windows 7:
From the Start menu, choose All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and choose "Run as Administrator" from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store.
If you want to have Windows try to restore the hosts to default, follow the "FixIt" in How do I reset the hosts file back to the default?.
Note: Work systems may put information into the hosts file. Consult whomever is responsible for supporting Windows on your system before resetting the hosts file to default.
If restoring the defaults did not resolve the issue, you can find your hosts file at C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC .
Select the hosts file. Choose Edit > Copy, and then choose Edit > Paste.
There should now be a duplicate of the hosts file named "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7).
Drag the original hosts file to your Desktop. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
Drag the "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) to the Desktop.
Right-click "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) and choose Open. You may be prompted to choose the program you want to use to open this file. Double-click Notepad.
When Notepad opens, choose Edit > Select All, and then choose  Edit > Delete.
From the File menu, choose Save. Quit Notepad.
Drag the "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) file from your Desktop back into the original location (given in step 2). If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
Right-click the  "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) file, and choose Rename. Type "hosts" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
Restart your computer and try connecting to the iTunes Store.

  • Able to connect to the mypassport web site, but the screen with the License Agreement does not come

My PC runs under Windows 8.1Under the WiFi mode, the Mypassport wireless disk is identified and is connected, with no limitation. As expected. When I follow the procedure as mentionned in the User Manual, I have to use my browser (firefox in this case) and I type the adress : http://my passport.I enter the WD website, but instead having a window with the License Agreement to accept, I find a regular web page with the various WD external disks: http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?level1=2&lang=fr.I tried the other option suggested in the manual with the proposed IP adress, and I find a WD page with a user manual. Conclusion : I can use the disk using the USB cable, but the disk does not work under the WIFI mode. What should I do to connect to the right page? Thanks for the answer.

Good information. I don't believe that an internet connection is required when you first set up the MPW, so let's get that done. An internet connection is only required to do firmware updates and connect to Cloud services. You should update the firmware after you have the MPW connected properly and working. I don't think there is a Windows Phone version of the WD My Cloud App. You could use the browser on the phone to access the MPW Dashboard. But there may be issues with that so let's keep it simple. Follow these instructions like a recipe, but keep in mind what it says in the manual. You will need both these instructions and those in the manual. 1. Disconnect the USB cable from the 4G hotspot.2. Turn off the 4G hotspot. Power it down to make sure its network isn't available.3. Make sure your PC is turned on, and the Wi-Fi is on, looking for a network.4. Turn on the MPW and make sure the Wi-Fi LED lights up.5. Press the WPS (Wi-Fi) button on the MPW until the Wi-Fi LED flashes.6. Your PC should see the MPW network. Connect to that network.7. Turn on the 4G hotspot. Wait for it to start up fully. Do not connect your PC to the 4G hotspot at this time. Wait until the instructions say to connect to the 4G hotspot.8. Use a browser to go to the address http://mypassport (unless you have already changed that name when you set the MPW wireless password. If so use that name, or the IP address; http://192.168.60.1 ) This should open the MPW Dashboard for you. Depending on how much of the setup has actually been completed, you may be asked to set up a wireless password at this stage. If so, the MPW will force your PC to disconnect, and you will need to connect again. If you have already set a wireless password, you should be ready to complete the setup and connect the MPW to the 4G hotspot. The manual will have more information about this step, but you should be able to follow the instructions on screen.9. On the Wi-Fi tab in the Dashboard, you should see a graphic with your PC on the left, the My Passport Wireless in the middle, and a Wi-Fi selection list on the right. Select your 4G hotspot to connect to, enter the 4G hotspot security information (password), and the MPW will connect to the 4G hotspot Wi-Fi network. From now on the MPW will remember the 4G hotspot Wi-Fi network and connect to it when it is available.10. Your PC will now have internet access through the MPW, then through the 4G hotspot, to the internet. This will work fine, but it will be a bit slower than what you are used to, so now . . . 11. Close the browser with the Dashboard displayed.12. Disconnect your PC's Wi-Fi from the MPW network and connect your PC again to the 4G hotspot Wi-Fi network. Do not use the USB connection at this time. Use the Wi-Fi connection from the PC to the 4G hotspot.13. Open a browser window again and connect to the MPW Dashboard using http://mypassport  This may be a be a bit slow to respond, as it requires network discovery on your PC to do its thing. The IP address  http://192.168.60.1 will not work now as it only works when you directly connect to the MPW, rather than via a router, or 4G hotspot in this case. If you know how to look up the IP address that the 4G hotspot gave the MPW on its network, you could use that address, which should connect faster. But http://mypassport, or http://<YourNameForTheMPW> if you changed the name should work.14. If the Dashboard worked in the above step, you can finish any setup changes you may want to do, but you are all good to go. The MPW should appear in the "Network" section of Windows Explorer, and you should be able to copy files on and off the MPW, play music, videos, etc. that you have on the MPW. 15. Once you are happy that the MPW is working properly, change to using the USB connection from your PC to the 4G hotspot, if you want to, and check that everything still works properly. It should, as long as your 4G hotspot puts the USB and Wi-Fi connections on the same network, and acts as a router between all connections. Easy really, wasn't it?

  • Repeatedly asked to accept license agreement

I'm getting really frustrated by having to all the time accept the license agreement when I open any of the Adobe CC products. Is anyone else having these issues?

We have same issues and many more that I believe branch out from these over excited and screwy antipiracy bugs ( or intentions )
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5504323
I had already tested running CC manager and all apps as admin with no luck. I would be interested to see how many of these machines playing up are, or have been on a windows domain, as opposed to just running on workgroup etc.
All sort of issues arise once its in that 'mode' from lost previews, unsupported codecs, pieces of software greyed out etc... once its all relogged in on both CCmanager as well as ALL apps TWICE, and stepped past the "expired trial mode" then i get more stability until either the internet goes down for a bit or the CC manager for some reason logs off.(which might be a couple of hours are 24-48 hours.
Our ADSL has been getting maintenance and this has been very obvious over the past few days
pretty unusable right now... too frustrating.
On this basis its not currently fit for further use as a broadcast tool for us until its repaired. So promising but so not delivered. Not sure when registered users will get the same level of user experience that hackers that remove the security measures have...!

  • Can't Accept Licensing Agreement

    In trying to access
pdf files I initially get a blank Adobe Reader template then moments later, superimposed over it, a 16 article Warranty Disclaimer & Software License agreement.  Above it is a message to press the Accept button. However, there is no "Accept" button on or below the agreement.  Neither is there a "exit" button.  The only way I've found to remove the agreement and Adobe reader screens is to unplug the computer and reboot.  I now can't load pdf files that I previously successfully loaded.  After incurring the problem initially, I believe I successfully attempted to load v. 9.3 but am still having the same problem.  As a previous user, why am I getting a message to accept a licensing agreement and why no ability to accept it if I indeed no to do this again?  Any ideas and suggestions to be able to load and view pdf files once again??

If you have any video acceleration turned on your video driver, try turning it off. If that doesn't do the trick, try to uninstall and use the Microsoft Installer Cleanup tool. Then re-install.

  • Accepting License Agreement

This seems like a silly problem but it has me stumped. I recently bought a Mac Mini to use as a DVR ... so I have it connected to my TV set (SD). When I run iTunes I get the License agreement on the first screen. It runs off the bottom of my 480 lines and there is no way to get to the ACCEPT. I can scroll to he bottom with the scroll bar but it doesn't show the buttons. THere is no GREEN circle in the header to resize the window ... I can't even quit iTunes (with doing a FINDER FORCE QUIT).
Any thoughts on how to get beyond this?

This is one of the first things that I tried and it didn't work ... and I just tried it again to be be sure.....
    Good suggestion though

  • I cant accept license agreement!

I have got a new nano 8GB and when i try and register it so i can use it with the itunes i downloaded, it doesnt allow me to scroll sideways to accept it. I can click to agree, but not to continue. And i have tried ajusting screen resolution! Any ideas?

What resolution did you try? If you aren't seeing all the buttons try increasing your screen resolution to at least 1024x768 so you can see the whole page: iTunes window does not display all options

  • No scroll bar on itunes to accept license agreement

I don't know what to do. When I put my ipod in my computer and I bring up itunes, I click on the ipod link under devices. When I do it tells me to accept or not to accept a license agreement (i guess). I can't scroll over to accept. I am assuming this is the only thing holding me back from downloading music to my ipod. I have already registered it on the apple website. Does anyone have any advice?

Try increasing the resolution of your computer screen, you'll find the information on this Microsoft page: Windows XP - How to change your screen resolution
