Try a reset (that will not affect your data). Reset by holding the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears.

No internet connection / Doesn't accept PIN code on reboot

Good morning. I own a brand-new (bought last week) Z1 compact running on Android 4.4.2. Until yesterday evening everything was fine. Then I connected it to the recharging station, to find this morning that the internet connection was lost. As I didn't find any mistake in the settings, and from PC experiences, I shut down and restarted the phone. On reboot it asked for the PIN code. I keyed in the code given to me by the vendor (Deutsche Telekom) and which I hadn't changed. The phone replied that the code was wrong and allowed me only two more tries. Before doing this I guessed it might be better to ask the experts. I am sure that no one manipulated the phone last night. So what should I do, can you please help me? I'm a bit at a loss. Thank you in advance.

In these situations the only thing you can do is perform a system repair which will factory reset your device and also means that any and all data will be erased - Use either PCC or SUS found here - For PCC unplug your phone from the Pc and fully switch it off - Start PCC select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue select Repair my phone/tablet and follow the instructions - Remember that when prompted hold volume down and connect your USB cable - Your phone should be switched off - In some circumstances you may need to perform this twice as the 1st time will install the Flash driver

German iPad wont accept PIN anymore after Update

I just updated my iPad WiFi + 3G. After The Update was done I entered the PIN for my 3G-SIM-Card. But I got the error message, that I have entered the wrong PIN. But it was the correct PIN, I double checked a couple of times and typed it of the the document. So the PIN is correct, but the iPad keeps telling me its wrong. Before the update same PIN worked just fine. So whats wrong?

Have your tried resetting network connections in the setting section? Have you powered off and then back on your iPad?

The documentation probably also talks about how that's exposed, as in whether there's an HTTP endpoint available, or something. You might have to save that XML to a file in a particular location, or pump it down a socket. Who knows? Talk to your vendor. What is that XML for anyway, some e-gift scheme?

Dell 5540 (Ericsson F3607gw WWAN) problem - sim-missing

Hello,
I'd like to use internal WWAN modem in my laptop (Dell E5440). Originally there was Sierra Wireless AirPrime (Dell 5570) which was not working at all on stock kernel. After some googling and tweaking kernel modules I got it to the point, where it was partially discovered, but ModemManager said "sim-missing". I left it in this state because I found nobody who ever got it working on Linux... but yesterday I got a chance to swap it with Dell 5540 modem. So i did.
And... it is not working ;-)
There is of course big step forward - as the modem is properly detected and so on, but... "sim-missing" keep appearing.
There is no entry of "WWAN" in NetworkManager.
SIM card is of course present. When I put this SIM card into Huaweii USB modem - it works - it shows in NetworkManager, accepts PIN and allows to connect to the network.
I have read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/USB_3G_Modem and did as it was written.
I've found this thread https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=162295, but it's about version 0.7 of ModemManager and now we have version 1.2 so it is obsolete.
Does anybody has an idea what is wrong? What can I check?

I slightly modified modemmanager-git in the AUR and added some dependencies, the git version now works for me.

However, when i turn it on, i wait blindilyfor 30 secs, type PIN code for SIM card, but can't see which button is 'OK' button to accept PIN....
just want to use it as a 3G modem for the laptop
would love a link / picture of PIN login screen, or anything really

I broke the screen on my 2730 this morning, just like you I coudn't find the OK button for the PIN.
I solved by putting the sim in another mobile, and removing the PIN.
I'm going to buy a replacement screen (about 10 euros on ebay) so if you still need a picture of the login screen, just ask.

Windows phone does not support that accessory. It's highly unlikely that support will ever be added for it given the age of that product.

My iphone 4 will no longer accept my PIN

Hi! I have had my iphone 4 inactive for some months as I have changed phone. Now I want to hand it over to my son. First, I couldn't make it accept my own PIN-code. Trying to use my son's brand new SIM-card, it will not accept that code either. What is wrong and what can I do?

What PIN code, are you referring to the Unlock screen? That will only accept the security code that was setup by the user and has NO bearring on the SIM card installed in the device.
If you have forgotten the unlock code, restore the device either via backup from the computer it normally syncs with or as new from any computer with iTunes.
If you are referring to the SIM unlock PIN code, enter the correct code or get a new SIM from the carrier.

Can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent show as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving them either (PIN Message Status : Service Blocked)

I recenly changed device from BB Curve 8530 to BB Bold 9900 and ever since then can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows only as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving them either. Tried sending PIN messages but I got a red x next to the message and the status says: "Service Blocked" .
When my phone got lost, I was lucky that I just synchronized my device to my BB Desktop. Not only was I able to retrieve my contacts (phonebooks and BBM) but also ALL txt msgs and even call logs
Anway, that happening, I assumed I don't need to re-send all my BBM friends invites since some were able to communicate with me. But for those who have deleted my profile (knowing it got lost) and were still on my contact were the ones affected. I tried deleting them and sent an invite only to find out that: I can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving any. (they also have the same pending for authorization notice on their end)
When I tried to send them a PIN message I get a red x next to the message nd get the service blocked message.
Help I do not know what else to do.
** FYI: new contacts added with my new PIN have no prob sending invites and me accepting them all.

This issue is most likely Caused by the BlackBerry not being provisioned for BlackBerry Data Services.

Pin code not accepted in new IOS 7.0.2

Today I was asked to update my iPad to the new iOS - which I duly did. Then it asked me to put in a pin code for security. THis was OK and I put it in twice as requested - now what I thought was the code is not accepted and the Ipad is disabled.

I have never synched my iPad mini to a computer, and since I updated it to 7.0.2 a few weeks ago , it suddenly lost my passcode that I had provided.
After having tried to unlock my ipad a few times, it got disabled and now even when I try to restore, iTunes throws the following error.
"iTunes could not connect to the [device] because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the [device] before it can be used with iTunes."
HELP PLEASE.

Cant accept a pin invite?

I just tried to invite my mom to be one of my bbm contacts, however when she got the message and opened it, she cant click on the "accept" or "decline" button, they become highlighted but when she actually clicks down the trackball nothing happens...

How do i accept a request from pin blackberry messanger

i had a request for the blackberry messenger service which a friend sent but nothing has come on the program to accept he enter my pin number in the add a contact and i not recieved anything also i done same to his pin and its showing as pending

First make sure that you can send back and forth PIN to PIN messages to each other.
When they add you as a contact you'll get a message that someone wants to add you as a contact and that you need to approve it.
To add a contact to the BlackBerry Messenger Contacts list, complete the following:
On the BlackBerry smartphone, open BlackBerry Messenger.
Display the menu and click Add a Contact. The Select Address screen appears.Add a contact from your address book by clicking the contact name. Or, add a new contact by selecting Use Once, entering the contact email address and clicking the trackwheel. The contact email address is added.
Display the menu and select Request Email<user_name>. The Add a Message screen appears.
Click OK. The Add a Message is sent to the contact. You may customize this invitation before sending it. The contact is added to your contact list once the invitation is accepted.
