Sorry to post it here, but I need to know where my MBP "17 is, since I don't find any information on TNT etc. The only information I can find is on the www.apecode.com and this is what they tell me:

So it says that the computer is at EDC (European distribution Center) but the location is Shanghai? I though however that EDC is in Amsterdam. So my question is is the computer still in China or already in Europe?

The situation changed so far that after a new entry the Shipping point in the previous entry changed from "shanghai" to "NLAMS07" which I intepret to be Netherland - Amsterdam (which would be logical since the EDC shound be in Amsterdam. So the shipping point in the previous entry changed after the new entry appeared:

India is a particular problem for Apple. While the basics for ordering are set up, the means of payment are more restrictive; you can only use the means outlined in my earlier post.
While we here cannot speak for Apple, I understand the Indian Government's insistence on the majority ownership of shares being owned by Indian nationals, is the stumbling block. Were that to be resolved, other facilities like means of payment might be resolved too.

Hi, did you ever solve this problem?
My 1 year old -- ha! one month out of warranty -- iPhone 4 has been having a nearly identical problem over the past few days.
It started by dying completely so I had the battery replaced, thinking it was simply battery issue.
It then worked again for a moment but started doing exactly what you describe, going through a reset cycle (longer than 30 seconds but who's counting). And it felt quite warm.
Did hard reset, plugged into wall charger and MBP USB but the new battery wouldn't even get a full charge (a whopping 92% after nearly two days). It would even lose battery when plugged in if I opened an app. And all the while plugged in, if I left the phone on, it would cycle through these resets. So I turned it off to try to charge it.
Now suddenly, it's dead again. Totally black, and hard reset does nothing. Up until two days ago there was nothing wrong whatsoever with this phone! And I hadn't even installed a new app that could be the root of the issue. No idea whatsoever what caused this.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Photosmart 7150 Scan to My Apple Laptop Not Working

I can print fine. (Have latest OSX Yosemite update on my lap top). Can't scan to my lap top.

I see that you can print, but you can't scan from Yosemite. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Please check the model number for your printer. As far as I can see the Photosmart 7150 doesn't have scanning functionality.
Do you maybe have the Photosmart 7510? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
If your model has a scanner, please try the following steps.
I would do a hard reset.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen it should show the printer's name.
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)

Pixma MX 420 will not scan on my Apple. Use to. Have OS X Lion 10.7.

I have an Apple with OS X Lion 10.7. Hooked up to a Pixma MX420. It worked perfectly up until about a month ago but something went south. Everything but the scanner works. Done everything I know to get it to work again short of a 10 pound hammer. Any suggestions?

Problem with Scanning to my Apple Mac

Can someone help me please. I have been scanning various documents merrily for more than a year. Yesterday I scanned 10 different documents to the HP Photosmart Studio. From there I moved the scanned items to a file on my desktop.
Suddenly today, the scanner doesn't work.
In the HP Device Manager, after clicking onto "Scan Picture" the document is pre-scanned, and when I adjust the area to be scanned, and click "ACCEPT" I receive the following message: "UNABLE TO ALLOCATE MEMORY OR SYSTEM RESOURCE TO COMPLETE OPERATION".
Well - - I un-installed the whole programme, disconnected the printer, and re-installed - but the problem is still there.
Can someone please advise me as to what to do.

I wonder if the whole problem is because of a very recent upgrade of iTunes. I can't see the connection really, but for the past few days I have had endless (unresolved) problems as well with my iPad - since the new iTunes version was installed. Perhasp it is all connected??

Hi, I lived in the Philippines. I bought my factory unlocked Iphone4s last April 2012 in one of the retail stores here. A while ago, i got a problem on my iphone. there was a -1 error whenever i restore my iphone. Now, it is just on the recovery mode and wasn't able to access in anyway i do.
I want to send my Iphone to Apple store and repair it. All apple repair center here in the Philippines do not accept Iphones that do not came from Smart/Globe(network carrier). Do I need to send my iphone to the nearest neighbor country like Singpore or Hong Kong just to repair my iphone?
Also, do i have to pay for the repair?

It sounds like you purchased a gray market phone. iPhones can only be serviced in the country of origin.
Globe and SMART are the two authorized carriers in the Phillipines. If you got the phone from one of them, you need to take it to them for service. If you got it elsewhere, you need to determine where it came from and either take it there in person or send it to someone you know there to take it in for service.
The warranty is not international.

Cannot send scanned PDF via Apple Mail

Hi all,
here at work we have the strange problem that we cannot send Mails with PDFs which are scanned with our MFP Xerox Phaser 6180MFP-D and then transferred to the Mac Desktop which are the send with Apple Mail.
In the Activity Window we see that the Mail sending is stalling at 16%. Other PDFs can be sended without Problems.
Even the PDFs which we cannot send with Apple Mail can be send with Entourage 2004. The Problem exists in OSX 10.5 and OSX 10.3. Does anyone have an Idea how we can try to solve this? Is there a debugger around?

Can you email me such a PDF (using Entourage apparently)? My address can be found by clicking on my name to the left, and looking in the bio line of the resulting Profile.
I will be able to test with both 10.5 and 10.4. I am suspecting this may be a timing out problem? Could be related to MTU (maximum transmission unit) with your connection, which can differ depending upon the application doing the uploading. If so there are diagnostics tests for checking -- see:

The latter would appear to not relate to using 10.3, but something may be untested with that.

My new HP Officejet Pro won't scan to my ApplePro-Mac.. Hp keep saying I'm not connected or it can't find my Pc..
When I update my MacPro laptop I see where it's still reading that I have a Lexmark.. Could this be the problem? How do I get this straighten out. Thank you! P.S.. No problems with my printouts.

Means you didn't properly install your HP Software/Driver did you make sure it was installed and the Default printer was the HP?

A .txt can not be opened in Reader.
Reader opens .PDF files.

You received two codes. One was in the first email, and included dashes. That is the code used to open a PDF file in the second email. That PDF file contains a long (12 digit, I think) code without dashes. That is the code you must use in the App Store to get your Mountain Lion.

AppStore won't let me 'accept' iPhoto. I use my Apple ID and nothing happens. So confused!

I am at a complete loss. I was at the mac store today in Covent Garden. I have a MacBook pro and was telling the guy at the genius bar that my computer is really slow and just not working in some odd ways. He checks my hard drive and tells me my computer is fine. He backs up all my data onto the drive I brought with me then he re-installs my operating system. Yesterday I had Maverick (i had downloaded it myself) but he installed Mountain Lion telling me that he didn't want to 'overload' my mac (surely this is a sign that I need a new laptop if we can't install the latest operating system?!)
Anyway, I tell him I don't want to lose my applications so he downloads iLife (including iPHoto) onto my new operating system. We didn't transfer over my photos while I was in the store because it would take hours. So I get home, go to open iPhoto and it won't work!!!
I see that one can no longer download iPhoto off the web but apple insists you go to the AppStore. So I go to the AppStore and the only option that comes up for me is to 'accept' iPhoto. So I click 'accept' and enter my Apple ID (the same ID I've now had for years) and nothing happens. It's like groundhog day. I couldn't buy iPhoto if I wanted to because it won't let me past the 'accept' page.
Can anyone help?
