Accepted BID created a Local PO?

Hi Experts,
We are creating BID invitation from SC of subtype ER.
If the PR from which the SC is created does not conatins the account assignment category the PO generated for this BID is created as Local ..
Is this the standard behaviour?
How to pass account information to FM BBP_PD_BID_CREATE since there is no table for accounting data in this FM?
Thanks,
Anubhav

Hi Jay,
We are in classic scenarion, subtype of SC used for creatig BID Invitations is ER - External Requierment .
When a BID is displayed in BBP_PD there is a tab
Acct Assg:.
How to populate this data while creating a BID so that it is passed to PO automatically.
We are on SRM 4.0 .
One more thing is for BID created with SCs (these SC s were created from PRs without acc assgnmnt) have local system as be_log_system table BBP_PDBEI where as others have ECC system in this field.
Thanks a lot,
Anubhav

  • PO creation from Accepted bid

    Hi All
We are on SRM 7.0 classic scenario.
Trying to create a local PO from an accepted bid in Plan driven scenario
    1) Is there a way to alter the quantity in the PO, or create partial PO's from 2 or more accepted bids.
I didn't see any way to do this as the PO is instantaneously triggered & no option to change
    2) The scales and Pricing conditions entered by the supplier in the bid , are not transferred to the PO?
Only the final Price calculated , based on the conditions is transferred? Is there a way to transfer the conditions and scales too?
    3) The bidder can enter the validity dates in the Price conditions. However what is the effect of those? If the buyer tries to create a PO from the accepted bid, beyond the validity date, is there a hard stop error?
Is there any other place at Header level, where the bidder can specify the validity date for the bid, except the conditions?
    Thanks

  • Error in Generating PO from accepted bid

    Hi
When i am clicking "Generate Purchase Order" as the follow on document from accepted Bid invitation.
It is giving the error "Purchase Order has not been created". I also went to history tab of Bid invitation and checked if the PO would have been created but it wasn't created any clue on this.
    Regards
    Ashish

you have not given yr tech scenario (classic or ECS) and you are expecting PO in ECC or SRM
    assuming you are in Classic
there are many things you need to check:
    backend system definition is correct.
for the trans type of BI you have defined BUS2201 as a follow-on trans type under cross applns-->trans type
you have set the backend PO no range under cross applns--> no ranges
you have set same no range as internal for SRM PO no ranges
set the same as external in ECC MM PO no ranges
linked to the ECC PO doc type under MM -->purchasing >PO>doc type
the backend PO type is available for attribute BSA
multiple PO doc types can be achieved by specifying doc types in DP_PROC_TY

  • Does os x server create inconsistent local backups of files created as a result of a client's time machine backup?

    some definitions for clarity:
"TM Server" means the Network Service by which clients back up their files to the server.
"TM Client" means the local Time Machine backup process that saves the server's files to a USB drive
    If I have a Server "A", and clients, "B" and "C".
"A" offers itself as a TM Server backup destination, saving to
    /Volumes/Backup1/
    /Volumes/Backup2/
"B" and "C" clients rotate between Backup1 and Backup2 as their backup destination, over the network, so
/Volumes/Backup1/b.sparsebundle and c.sparsebundle exist (as well as in Backup2)
"A" backs itself up through its TM Client to a USB3-attached drive at
    /Volumes/USB1
Which has the usual .backupdb files.
A's backups include the data on the "Backup1" and "Backup2", which have the sparsebundles.
    The question is:
    1. Is A's TM Client aware of the TM Server, so only saves the .sparsebundle bands to the .backupdb once the TM Server has finished accepting a client backup
    OR
    2. does the TM Client run concurrently with the TM Server such that it writes the .sparsebundle bands to the .backupdb in an inconsistent state:
    Ex:
Server and Client have copies of a file. Server has a previous content with 'AA' and begins a backup.
Halfway through the server's backup, the client starts writing to the server with new content, 'BB'
Scenario 1: TM Server waits until local backup is complete:
    Client:|-------------------BB[===Backup===]BB-|
    Server:|-AA[===Backup===]AA-------------------|
Scenario 2: TM Server is allowed to write while backup happens
    Client:|-----------BB[===Backup===]BB-|
    Server:|------AA[===Backup===]AB------|
Scenario 2 obviously leaves the local backup in an inconsistent state.
DOES OS X SERVER CREATE INCONSISTENT LOCAL BACKUPS OF FILES CREATED AS A RESULT OF A CLIENT'S TIME MACHINE BACKUP?

See if anything in C 12 helps. Airport Utlity 5.6 will not run in Mavericks.

  • Is there a way to create a local package repository

Is there a way to create a local package repository without technically being a mirror.  For example, setting up multiple AL box's on my network and having them grab all the latest packages from one AL box?
    Thanks,
    Craig

What you most likely want is an ABS tree of your own, containing only the PKGBUILDs of those packages which you want to be included in your repository.
You should already have heard of the gensync program. In short, the parameters are the root of PKGBUILDs, sorted in subdirectories (ie. like the ABS tree), the intented name and location of the repository database file, and the directory containing the binary packages.
Let's assume you downloaded the current ABS tree to your hard drive, as well as all matching (same version as in the PKGBUILDs!) packages from a mirror, but you don't want the reiserfsprogs package in your repository. To achieve that, you must remove the /var/abs/base/reiserfsprogs directory, and may optionally remove the binary package, too. Since gensync analyzes the ABS tree you supplied as a parameter, removing the subdirectory of a specific package will cause this very package to not be included in the generated database. Assuming your packages lie in /home/arch/i686/current, your gensync call would look like this:
    gensync /var/abs /home/arch/i686/current/current.db.tar.gz /home/arch/i686/current
If there are any discrepancies like
      - PKGBUILD, but no matching binary package found
      - PKGBUILD and binary package versions do not match
      - permission problems (writing the db file must be possible)
    gensync will gladly complain.
Otherwise you should find the db file in the place you specified. Keep in mind that the name of the db.tar.gz file must be equal to the repository tag in the pacman.conf to use the repo.
To make sure the db contains the right packages; use
    tar -tzf current.db.tar.gz | less
to list the contents. Every package has it's own subdirectory including the metadata, which is rather obvious considering the file's generated from such a structure in the first place.
The binary packages along with a correctly generated db file are all you need. Make the repository directory containing these files available through FTP if local availability doesn't cut it for you, edit your pacman.conf if needed, and use it!
Adding packages works similar; All you need to have is the PKGBUILD in an ABS-like tree (it doesn't have to be the official tree; gensync doesn't care where the files come from. Just stick to one subdirectory per PKGBUILD, and you'll be fine), and the matching packages somewhere else, run gensync with the appropriate directories, and cackle with glee.

  • How to create a local SLD on a newly installed PI 7.3 system.

    Hello
I wander how to create a local SLD on a newly installed PI 7.3 system.
When installing I choosed "register in existing central SLD"(other option was "no SLD destination")
On next screen I have choosen SLD HTTP host as the host I was currently installing PI7.3
For SLD HTTP  port I have used 50000 as the instance was (the default) "00"
For SLD Data Supplier User I have choosen "SLDDSUSER"
I was warned then that "The SLD Server is not reachable. Choose "Cancell" to modify managing  configuration or "OK" to continue. If you choose to continue you will have to execute the smdsetup script later on."
    I opted "OK".
if I understand I have to execute smdsetup script in order to create a local SLD
    Has anyone experience with it
    thank you in advace
    Jan

    Hi Jan,
You first need to run the wizard to setup the SLD locally.
To do this, go to the NetWeaver Administrator -> Configuration -> Scenarios -> Configuration Wizard -> Funtional Wizard Configuration UI
There tick System Landscape Directory and select "Enable Automatically".
After executing this, your SLD will be ready for use.
The SMD has nothing to do with the SLD, it's just the next step in the installation process.
    Kind regards,
    Mark

  • EPM Error while creating a local connection

    Hello everyone,
I am a Dashboards designer and am new to BPC 10 MS. I am working on a dashboard that connects to BPC 10 MS to retrieve data via the EPM Connector. For this a 'Local' connection type must be used when creating the report in the Excel sheet using the EPM Add-In. I tried to create one but am facing a curious error which does not seem to be a known issue. I have installed the ODBO Client and therefore can create a local connection of type 'SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation'. Once I select this provider I entered my application server name and chose Windows Authentication for BPC MS as I have the service account credentials. I encountered an EPM - General error with the following text: Error while communicating with the server. Details: Framework message: Authorization failed. This error shows even if I'm using Excel and not Dashboards. If I use a different connector, I am able to access all the BPC data just fine. However, with local type (which is needed for the dashboard connector) it just doesn't work. I tried reinstalling the EPM Add-In as well as the EPM Connector without any change to the error.
    I am using Win7 32-bit, Excel 2010 32-bit, ODBO Client SP12, EPM Excel Client SP16 Patch 1, BPC 10 MS server SP08, Dashboards 4.1 SP1.
Has anyone come across this before? Any help would be great as I'm very much stuck at this point.

  • How to create a local EJB 3.0 and execute in JDeveloper?

    Hello guys!
I'm brand new with EJB 3.0.
I would like to know how can I create a @Local EJB and a client in JDeveloper?
It's was ease to create a @Remote EJB and the sample java client, how can I do same to @Local EJB?
    I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0.3914
    Thanks in advance.

Creating a @Local EJB is just as easy, just replace the @Remote by @Local, or checkmark local in the EJB wizard.
You can create a client for a @Local EJB, as local methods aren't available outside the EJB container, that's why they are called local. A test client doesn't run in the ejb container, and therefor cannot access the local ejb methods.
If you want to test the local methods of an ejb, you should create another ejb which calls the first.

  • What happens to Existing index after table partition and created with local index

    Hi guys,
desc part id  number, name  varchar2(100), salary  number
In an existing table  PART  i am  adding 1 more column DATASEQ NUMBER. i am asked to partition the table part based on dataseq.now the table is created with this logic
    create table part( id  number, name  varchar2(100), salary  number, DATASEQ  number) partition by list(dataseq) (partition PART_INITIAL  values (1));
Suggestionn required. since  the table is partitioned based on DATASEQ i am asked to add local index on dataseq. i have added local index to dataseq create index idx on part(dataseq) LOCAL; Now my question is  already there is existing index is for the column ID and salary.
    1)  IDX for  dataseq is created locally so that it will have partition on each partition on the main table. Please tell me what happens to the existing index on the column ID and salary.. will it again created in local?
    Please suggest
    S

    Hi,
first of all, in reality "partition a table" means create a new table a migrate existing data there (although theoretically you can use dbms_redefinition to partition an existing table -- however, it's just doing the same thing behind the scenes). This means that you also get to decide what to do with the indexes -- which indexes will be local, which will be global (you can also re-evaluate some of existing indexes and decide that they're not really needed).
Second of all, the choice of partitioning key looks odd. Partitioning is a data manageability technique more than anything else, so in order to benefit from it you need to find a good partitioning key. A recently added column named "data_seq" doesn't look like a good candidate. Can you provide more details about this column and why it was chosen as a partitioning key?
I suspect that whoever suggested this partitioning scheme is making a huge mistake. A non-partitioned table is much better in all aspects (including manageability and performance) than wrongly partitioned one.
    Best regards,
    Nikolay

  • How can you create a local variable from a boolean control?

I want to create a local variable from a boolean control, but it says that boolean latch actions are incompatible with local variables, but I need a way to check this boolean control in two differents loops, how can I do it?

    Use global variables.
Compare them with a constant Boolean like F or T.
The result is true or false and then you can use it in a Cae-Loop.

  • How to create a local variable in bpel?

    Hi,
In my bpel flow I need to call service based upon a pl/sql procedure multiple times. The procedure returns the results of a query in chunks and contains a boolean as an output parameter that tells me whether there are any more records that need to be fetched based upon which I will be calling the service again. I want to achieve this using a while loop. So for the while loop condition I am thinking of creating a local variable in the bpel process and assign it an initial value of false(). Then once the service is called I will set the value of this variable to the output boolean parameter returned by the procedure. So while the boolean is true the service will be called again.
My question is how can I create a local variable in bpel and assign it an initial value of false. Or is there any other way that this can be achieved?
    Thanks!!

    Hello! thanks for yr response.
I tried creating a new variable by defining a scope. But in the create variable window I cannot define a standalone variable of boolean type I need to pick up the type from an lov that brings up a list of all existing variable! so basically u are just mapping to an existing variable which in my case will not work because I will need to map to one of the elements of the output of the pl/sql procedure based service -- also this element itself is not exposed in the lov only the name "inputParameters" is displayed as the element --all the contents are not exposed.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

  • Can we create a local database in SQl developer 3.1

Hi i am trying to create a local database that i can run in my machine. Which username and password should i use.Do i need it , where to get it.
    Thanks

Hi, SQL Developer is a GUI client to an Oracle database - it does not come bundled with one. You did not mention what your platform is, but Oracle XE is relatively lightweight and available for windows (32bits) and linux (64bits). The database server does not have to reside on the same system where you run sqldev.

  • How to create a local, non-clustered storage pool

    Hello,
I have setup a two-node Failover Cluster, with a shared SAS DAS. So far so good.
One of the nodes also has internal disks that I wish to use for system backups.
This storage pool should not be clustered, as the disks cannot be seen from the other node. The trouble is that as soon as I create the pool it gets added to the cluster (in failed state).
In fact, the "Storage Pools" window in the server manager will only show me the "clustered storage spaces", with my internal disks in the Primordial pool.
Get-StorageSubSystem will show me both subsystems (Clustered Storage Space on ... + Storage Spaces on node-1) but fails to create a storage pool on the "local" subsystem.
How can I create a local, non clustered storage pool on internal disks ?

    Hi,
SpackTime_ is right, the DA storage usually for the localdata backup, but if you want to use for remote computer backup, you can share a floder then you can storage your backup, but also that backup won't work the shared computer crash.
