Accesing the data cubes with developer 2000

Hi,
Currently we have to develop the application for the olap operations only with oracle Developer 2000. Our client is not going to take the Oracle objects or oracle express server. we have to develop the application using the oracle developer 6i or above or How can we access the three dimentional data using the plsql procedure or any other method. Currently we are using the oracle 9i release 2.
Please suggest any other way....

I would suggest you either go with Oracle Discoverer or Oracle OLAP/ BI Beans. These tools are optimized for reporting and analysis.

When I deploy the cube which is sitting on my PC (local) the following 4 errors come up:
Error 1 The datasource , 'AdventureWorksDW', contains an ImpersonationMode that that is not supported for processing operations.  0 0

Sorry hit the wrong button there. That is not entire solution and setting it to default would work when using a single box and not in a distributed application solution. If you are creating the analysis database manually or using the wizard then you can
set the impersonation to your heart content as long as the right permission has been set on the analysis server.
In my case I was using MS Project Server 2010 to create the database in the OLAP configuration section. The situation is that the underlying build script has been configured to use the default setting which is the SQL Service account and this account does
not have permission in Project Server I believe.
Changing the account to match the Project service account allowed for a successful build \ creation of the database. My verdict is that this is a bug in Project Server because it needs to include the option to choose impersonation when creating the Database
this way it will not use the default which led to my error in the first place. I do not think there is a one fix for all in relations to this problem it is an environment by environment issue and should be resolved as such. But the idea around fixing it is
if you are using the SQL Analysis server service account as the account creating the database and cubes then default or service account is fine. If you are using a custom account then set that custom account in the impersonation details after you have granted
it SQL analysis administrator role. You can remove that role after the DB is created and harden it by creating a role with administrative permissions.

How can we view the data asociated with Request ID

I have data loaded in an ODS there are multiple files loaded in this ODS. Now i want to view data for a perticuler request OR i want to know how can we know the data associated with a perticular request.

Copy the request number (not request ID) from the ODS manage screen, Goto RSRQ give the request number and execute. it shows the monitor screen- now goto PSA from the top and check the data. But this possible only if you are loading data to PSA also along with ODS.
Otherwise, Goto Display Data of ODS from the right click on it -- in the selection screen give the Request ID that you want to check the data. Then it displays only that request data.

What I would like to know is how to recover the data associated with %TOSELECTION% in the Script.
The script code is the following:

How to analysis the data cube

Once the analytic workspace is populated, I can view dimensions directly from Oracle AWM. But sometimes the Data Viewer Window load slowly. I wonder whether it need to aggregate each time. If the backup and restore takes place properly, you shouldn't have any issue as millions of people have done an update from iOS 4.

No records written to the transactional cube with the copy function

Hi, I am unable to copy data from the basic cube to transactional cube,
I have developed following:
1. Planning Area PA1 for the basic cube
2. Planning Area PA2 for the transactional cube
3. Multi planning Area MPA1 over PA1 and PA2.
4. Planning Level PL1 for MPA1. It includes all the chars and KF.
5. Planning Package PP1 for PL1. No selections are made in this planning package.
6. Planning Function PF1 for PL1. It is based on copy function and has Plng Area in the field to be changed.
7. Parameter Group PG1 for PF1. I have selected Overwrite existing values option, in from planning area PA1 and in to planning area PA2.
Now when I execute the planning function it displays following log with green status:
Planning function PF1 (PF to copy data actuals to plan), parameter group PG1(PG to copy data) was carried out with no error
500 data records were read, 0 of them were changed, 0 generated
After this I hit the save button. A request is written to the transactional cube but there are no records in this request. Can anyone guide if I am missing something here or with correct steps

Whate ever charcateristic combinatins you have in the plg level will be copied from PA1 to PA2.
Can you pl check the following:
1. Do you have data on the basic cube? If so, take one set of characteristtic combinations and go to transactional cube and check this.
2. Make sure the request in the basic cube is GREEN.
Lets do one more thing.
Tell me what distinguished PA1 and PA2?
If you have any characteristic that distinghished them, then lets run a copy with that characteristic. You dont have to have plng area in the function / para group.
Check the following. I will reply in a few mts, as i have a meeting.

I haven't really heard any specifics, but I'm sure they must be. I imagine that loading uncompressed samples to the card for use during gameplay has got to peak the interest of any developer interested in better sound quality with minimal system overhead.
I would think gunshots or other such frequently used sounds in multi-player games would be ideal for something like this. Would have to be much better to have many voices pulling from the onboard ram as opposed decompressing samples from system ram and passing them over the already busy PCI bus. I think as more developers transition to OpenAL, we will see more usage of the XRam in game titles.
The XRAM SDK from developer.creative.com lists the following usage scenarios in the docs.

Again, this is not strictly on topic, but the functionality of the XRam must certainly be pretty interesting to game devs. Much like texture memory on graphics cards.

Problem with the creation of the date server with the technology Mysql

I have installed oracle database 11.2
I have installed mysql 5.1.41 with xamp
I have created the repository master and work.
I have created data server for oracle .
ok all correct
I have created the date server for mysql but I cannot insert the data for jdbc (why ? where insert data ?) when except it creates me the date server.
but when I try to add a physical schema me from this error and I don't see the list of the schema.

Hi,
A sub asset master can be created with AS11 only.
You cannot create a asset sub number under a main asset number, in the case, where different set of dep areas needs to be maintained.
When you create a sub asset, all the dep areas will be copied to sub asset's master from main asset master. Since this set of dep areas cannot be different from main asset to sub asset.

How to compare the date value with the date datatype column?

I am executed a query to get output for the particular date in two different database.
I got output in one db environment, but in the another environment i didnt get the output.
APP_DECISION_DATE column contains date datatype
ex:

Database Variant to Data.vi not working for the Date datatype with LV 8.2?

I'm moving a large body of LV database code from LV 7.1 to 8.2 and find that the Database Variant to Data.vi is not working correctly when used with the Date datatype. It works fine with 8.0, and the common Variant to Data works also. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Wes

The data is stored in an Oracle database using the DATE type. I'm querying many rows along with other columns and converting each of the values as necessary for each column with the 'Database Variant to Data' vi. Only conversion to Timestamp is no longer working as of version 8.2. I recognize that plain Variant to Data works but I have many (100's) of VIs to change if that is the only solution (not the end of the world). Most often the dates are originally generated in the database using PL/SQL procedures calling SYSDATE which look like: 5/1/2006 11:56:26 AM (in TOAD anyway) which I then need to read into LV as type Timestamp.

Correcting the date stamp with files converted with mpgstreamclip.

I have converted some files using streamclip but it changes the date of the file to the date of the conversion. When I try importing them into imovie they are sorted incorrectly. The files were recorded in 07 but now have the date stamp of today. Can anyone help me solve this I am new to the mac and converting footage.

It seems that I have solved my own problem while searching for answers.
First I selected the clip with the incorrect date
Next select File and select Adjust clip date and time.

Using the data cable with Mac OS 10.5.4

Is it possible to use the data cable to connect my Nokia N70 to Mac OS X Leopard? I want to use it as a GPRS modem, and can do so via bluetooth, but get very slow speeds. Therefore, I'd like to try using the data cable.

no, there's no Mac Suite product. however, i'd consider that a good thing since my fiancé's PC Suite has YET to be able to connect her to the internet via USB or Bluetooth (!@#$'ing windows). she's got an N82 and windows vista home [adjectives ad infinium] and the latest N-series pc suite.
for her, we had to switch to WalkingHotSpot. that and JoikuSpot are essentially the same product. while this isn't an option on the N70 (no wifi), i thought i'd at least point out that PC Suite on windows doesn't seem to work well either.
now, about that USB connectivity: yes, i would think it SHOULD work. i'll try settin up my n95 in this manner (though i use WalkingHotSpot or bluetooth modem as needed)
what version of macos are you running?
