Access 2013 Email Report ribbon button always disabled

Access 2013 Email Report ribbon button is always disabled. This happens on one PC, All other installs are ok.
Reinstalled Office and Access and problem continues. System is Win 8.1
Default email client is Outlook 2013.
Any suggestions?

Access 2013 Web reporting seems to be missing

I have a simple request from a user to print out a list of the database in a nicely formatted form. Should take 10 minutes (or so I thought). The version is Access 2013 web.
It appears that this simple request is not easily done. There appears not to be a reporting function in the Web version of Access. I spent a long time looking for it and decided that it just isn't there.
For my second choice I decided to deploy the desktop version and create the reports there, but can't get a connection to the SQL Server where the Access Web App stores my data in SharePoint.
I found a web link showing me how to hook up Excel to the SQL server supporting the web app database. I have gone to the Web Access FILE\INFO screen and selected the Manage Connections section. Followed the instructions
for enabling a read only connection and then copied and pasted the server, database name, username and password into Excel using the "From other sources" button, then selecting the "From Data Connection Wizard", Selected other/advanced
and then SQL Server Native Client 11.0. It does not find the server when I test the connection. I constantly get a time out.
I am using a 365 SharePoint server to host my access web site. I called 365 Tech support and spent hours trying to work this out with people that didn't know anything about Access. The SharePoint people didn't understand the problem of not
being able to connect and was eventually told that it wasn't a feature they offered.
As an aside, with 18 years experience in developing Access applications, I am looking at other products to replace Access. I didn't jump into Access 2010 web because of the way SharePoint handled the database, but this is worse. Hate to walk away
from the experience I have, but seems I have been left little choice.

Also, you might just try clicking the Create Reports button in the Access web app client interface and Access will create the reporting database for you with links to the web app tables. On the File menu (when using the Access web app in client) make sure
to click the option to Allow Any Location under the Manage button. After that, just click the Create Reports button on the File menu (right above the Manage button) and wait a few seconds. Access will create a new desktop database linked up to all of the Access
web app tables. You can then create as many reports or other desktop objects as you like.

Exchange Server Online 2013 Email Reports & Unattended Emails from reciever

Hello All,
I am very new in exchange server, i there any way to get these following requirements
emails reports - to include info like no. of emails received by a particular user, unattended emails, response time to an email etc?
to check & implement if we can call back an unattended email from receiver's end. For eg. if an email is lying unattended in receiver's inbox for 7 days, same is automatically reverted & the sender is notified along with a copy of that email?
to check & implement if there is any system under which a user cannnot delete any email either incoming or outgoing?

Hopefully I can answer some of your questions below:
1. Email reports, here's a good script that can tell how many emails a user has sent/received in a particular time frame, take a look at this: http://www.msexchange.org/kbase/ExchangeServerTips/ExchangeServer2010/Powershell/NumberofE-mailsSentandReceivedbyoneUser.html
As far as unattended (I'm assuming you mean unread) emails and response time to emails, there is no automated function that can tell you that. You would have to search message tracking logs to see when one email is received by a user, and then see
if/when they replied to it.
2. To have any type of automation on unread emails and a notification back to the sender, I doubt that's possible. Also, that could potentially generate a ton of unnecessary email traffic on your network (for example, I get TONS of alert/notification
emails daily, and don't always read them, having Exchange try to track all of that, and notify the sender of unread messages after 7 days would be a lot to put on exchange). I would look into read and delivery receipts that users can use to track this
type of thing.
3. If you want to put a user's mailbox in a state that they cannot delete anything, either implement Journaling for your entire Exchange Org (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998649(v=exchg.150).aspx) or if you're interested in doing this
type of thing per mailbox, I would use the:

Web service browser - "Create Assembly..." button always disabled

I am trying to use .NET web services. I have followed the steps in the "Building a Web Service-Based Application in LabVIEW 7.0" document. My problem is that when I have selected a wsdl file in the .NET web service browser, the "Create Assembly..." button does not become enabled. I have tried a multitude of wsdl files, which looks ok to me, but nevertheless the button stays disabled. Any suggestions? Maybe I have missed some settings somewhere?

HT1420 How do I authorize music I purchased a few years ago from an account that no longer exists? The music shows up in my library, but it won't play. I can no longer access that email account because it was disabled...anyone can help?

I purchased a bunch of music years ago with an old email account and password and then switched (before I understood about the apple account thing) and now the music will show up on my new computer but I can't authorize it to play because the old account is disabled and I can't remember my password!!!!!!

Hey there~ I had a similar experience, when the email I used to set up the account was hacked and subsequently shut down by Hotmail. If you contacted Support to change the name, but not the email address, you will need to do so again.
Also worth noting~ if, at any time, you synced your device to your work computer, you'll need to contact Support to deauthorize it and enable your current one.

Blank space instead of ribbons and no buttons are shown on Access 2013

Hi everybody,
Recently installed Access 2013 on my laptop (ASUS B33E, WIN7 Ultimate) from the store's site.
I don't see the buttons (at all/some appear as rectangles) and the ribbons are blank.
When I pass mouse over the blank spots or supposed buttons, some buttons appear, but that's it - obviously, impossible to work with.
Looked it up on the net, here are a few solutions i've tried - without any success:
1. Uninstall and reinstall.
2. Installing on another computer (doesn't work exclusively on my laptop).
3. Disabling graphics accelaration (somehow found the main menu - a lot of guessing...).
4. Changing the theme on Access 2013.
5. I've read somewhere that uninstalling FastPictureView helps - irrelevant since I don't have it anyway.
6. Switching to classic/basic Win mode.
7. Opening Access through safe mode.
Any ideas?

As Don said, I supposed the issue may be caused by the Video Drvie generally. Did the other Office programs encounter the issue?
Then I think there are some program conflict and we check the issue in Windows safe mode and Windows clean boot.

Access 2013 Save Button Greyed Out

On existing and brand new blank databases, basically on every database the Save button is greyed out in Access 2013. I removed update KB2752093 and was able to get my Save As button but I don't want to have to Save As every time I make changes to an existing
database. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Did the Save button turn grey in the file tab? Did the issue occur in other Office suits? Did the other button turn grey in Access 2013?
Please try the following methods to test.
Use keyboard shortcut(Ctrl +S) to test.
Add a new Save command in Ribbon. (Click Options>Customize Ribbon>Select "Save"> Add to Home tab
Start Access in safe mode. If it works fine, please try to disable the add-ins one by one the test.
Repair Access 2013.

SPQuery disables ribbon buttons

I have an external list where I have added functionality so I can filter it.

This is working so I can filter the list, but when I select an item in the list the buttons (View, Edit and Delete) in the ribbon are disabled.
I can still select to view, edit or delete the item from the dropdown on the list item. So it is only in the ribbon the functions are disabled.
If i delete my Query, the buttons are enabled. But of course the filter functionallity is lost.
So something seems to be wrong with my Query.
But what is wrong?

This would be a known issue when adding a parameter filter to a view of list, the item commands in ribbon will be disabled.
Please apply the SharePoint 2010 October/2010 CU and then do the test again:

Dear apple, I am really dissapointed with you. Around January 2013, my iPhone 4s 16GB White has hardware issues, which was the Wi-Fi grey out. The wifi grey out means that I can't access the wifi on/off button, and also it has no connection. I have put up with it for months, until june 7 when I decided it has been long enough, and I got a replacement. I told the genius bar what happened, and I already did the so called "steps" that apple reccommended on the site, which was reset network settings, restore iPhone. The genius bar gave me a replacement phone, so I was expecting that the problem would be over, but it isn't. It seems that it's iOS 6.1.3 which is the case of most public complaints on apple iPhone products. Not even 3 weeks after I got the phone replaced, it is doing it again, so I suspect I'm just going to get a replacement again? Unfortunately I only have until 5th of july 2013 until my 1 year warranty is up. After that, any issue I have, I have to purchase apple care. People are expecting this problem to be fixed but I don't see it being solved any time soon. This is horrible and really low, because I have been a good customer, when I talk to the people at the genius bar, I show the utmost respect I can to them for the work they put into their job, but somewhere there is a problem where something has gone wrong. Because of that, people that only have a one year warranty (which i received because I purchased my apple iPhone at an Optus outlet, once that one year warranty is up, I have to pay for a problem that isn't even my fault? That isn't how it should work, you should be fixing this problem so people can be happy customers and leave happy. Obviously you don't all know how to do your jobs, because if you did, we wouldn't have this problem. I would like a replacement phone, ONCE AGAIN. Access 2010 field reports in SharePoint 2013 Cloud

I had this error in sharepoint 2010 but I was able to fix it with a system state module in IIS but in the cloud office 365 (sharepoint 2013) they will not fix this, is there any way to work around this

I know that reports will not have that same error when you step into the central admin but I dont have control of the iis or central admin, any feedback would be great thanks.

ok Update since I had a local server I ended up using my server for the reports since they are linked inside access it dint bother the program I had built only, trouble is now I have two separate access databases not sure if I can clone that information
from the cloud and double it as a back up server on the local edition. otherwise the reports will be outdated.

I have configured Emergency Access Management in GRC AC 10.
GRC Box (SID) : GR1 client 100
Backend ERP system : D24 client 100
The FIREFIGHTER in GRC system : FFUSER1
Z_SAP_GRAC_SUPERUSER_MGMTUSER
Z_SAP_GRC_FN_BASE
Z_SAP_GRC_NWBC
In the Backend ERP system the FIREFIGHTER ID: ABC wants to access the FIREFIGHTER(FFUSER1)
Hence in NWBC (Setup >Superuser Assignment>Firefighter ID) the assignment is done.
ABC(FIREFIGHTER ID) <--->FFUSER1(FIREFIGHTER)
Now the User login the GRC system using FFUSER1 assigned following roles
Z_SAP_GRAC_SUPERUSER_MGMTUSER
Z_SAP_GRC_FN_BASE
Z_SAP_GRC_NWBC
Z_SAP_GRAC_SPM_FFID
and runs Transaction: GRAC_SPM
and he is able to see that ABC is assigned .
Now the user clicks on "Logon" and the status changes from green to "RED".
A new SAP screen opens asking credintials for Backend ERP system D24 client 100
The User enters his own Id : ABC and password and logs in.
Runs the necessary transactions and logs out using transaction: /nex
The session in GRC is still running and now the "LOGON button" is disabled , he comes out of that screen too.
When the user tries to login again using FFUSER1 to do more task , the "LOGON Button" is seen disabled.
and clicking the "unlock" button also doesn;t help.
When checked in SM04, no live session is reflected .
How can we "enable" the LOGON button in the transaction : GRAC_SPM for the same FIREFIGHTER (FFUSER1) assigned for Firefighter ID (ABC) ??
As it is now not possible to click "LOGON" button and the status is "RED".
Please let me know your opinion .

SSRS 2013 Native Mode - Cannot See Report Builder Button after Installing on my Desktop Computer - SQL Server Express

I have installed SQL Server Express 2013 on my home PC, which runs Windows 7. I used the advanced installation, which includes Reporting Services. The install seemed to go okay but when I open SSRS, I cannot see the Report Builder button on the
screen. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure this out, including installing and reinstalling the program. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Also, I cannot connect to the report server through SQL Server Management Studio.
If anyone has any straightforward assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. I have spent a lot of time looking for answers. In the meanwhile I'll continue seeing if I can get this to work.
