Access archived dunning histories

Hi SAP,
I have archived dunning histories using FI_MKKDUNN and I have activated the info structure SAP_FICA_DUNN01 to access data by using transaction SARI. But when I dsplay the document using transaction FPE3, the dunning histories are not displayed. the system gives me a message that there is no dunning histories for this document.
is there any way to access data using the standard transaction FPE3?
Best regards.
Raissi Hanane.

Dear Sandeep,
Currently I am facing same issue.
Have you found the solution..?
Pls post the details if you have the solution.
With regards,
Tony.

  • Unable to access Archived data with an ABAP Query

I have an ABAP Query that uses Logical Database KDF (Vendor) for reporting.
KDF is Archive Enabled and I can access archived document via SAP standard programs that used the KDF Logical Database.
the query appears accessing the data but nothing shows on the report.
Has anyone successfully written and ABAP query and included access to the Archived data?
    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Gena,
I'm facing exactly the same problem as you...
Since this post is an old one, I imagine that you may not remember, but I have to try...
Have you solved it? If yes, could you please tell me how?
I've tried to use CL_ABAP_GZIP and CL_ABAP_UNGZIP_BINARY_STREAM and I'm getting the same error 30 at the  IctDecompressStream function.
    Tks in advance,

  • Archivelink to archive dunning printouts

    Hello !!
I wonder if someone have used archivelink to archive dunning printouts(sapscript) with an external archiving product.
I wonder if it is possible or if someone have tried the same.

please correct me if i am wrong ... the process is: you get paper-based incoming invoices from vendors -which you somehow scan- and you want to attach the scanned paper to the document posted in MIRO??
why would you want to upload that image to SAP? this will consume lots of space in your database and what for? plus: it is not safe for an audit from your government.
that 3rd party .net product ... is it some kind of (document archiving system)?
    usually the process is:
papery vendor invoice comes in and gets 'scanned' (usually to some kind of .pdf)
the scan goes to an archiving system (caution: there are legal requirements to be fullfilled!!)
    you post a (parked) MIRO
you get the ID of the scanned and archived paper and attach it to the MIRO-document (TOA*)
you can jump to the .pdf using GOS (generic object services) ... should even be there on 4.7, after you configured that.
but the physical .pdf stays in its legally approved black boxed archive system!!

You need to set up a Personal Hotspot account with your cell carrier for your iPhone. Once it is activated you can turn it on in Settings on your iPhone then connect your iPad either via Bluetooth or WiFi. I would recommend WiFi. The BT on the iPad can be used for tethering.

  • Complete Outlook 2010 Lock-Up when accessing archive pst files

    Hi,
I am having a real issue with Outlook 2010 (32 bit) and accessing archive pst files that are stored on a network share on our SBS server.
Like many we operate almost soley using email and this creates ever larger mailboxes, so most items are archived after six-months, but still need to be accessed occassionaly.
Each user has a series of archive pst files that are stored on our server in a common location for ease, but since switching some users to Office 2010 we now have a major issue that if a user opens one of the archive pst files from its network location they
can view everything in all folders of the archive, but after accessing a couple of messages Outlook "stops responding" and totally locks.
It seems that Outlook is trying to access the message in the archive pst, but cannot complete this and even restarting Outlook doesn't solve this as on restart the splash screen sticks at loading profile and never restarts! Worse yet this lock-up in Outlook
actually prevents Windows 7 from closing down, so when you try to restart the PC to resolve the problem Windows 7 just sits at "shutting down" and never closes (left for 20 mins), so a reset or hard reboot is then needed.
Has anyone seen similar issues with pst files created from Outlook 2007?
Is this issue due to network location of pst's?
Anyone got any ideas, as this issue drives me nuts when it happens, which thankfully is rare as we dont access archives often and can do so fine if needed from a PC running Outlook 2007.
    Thanks
    Ridesy

Here is my 2 cents, a few years down the road from the original posting.
I had the same problem as the original poster... extremely slow .pst performance for a current archive folder.
I have a SBS 2008 system in place at this client. Ironically they acquired another small business and everyone moved in--along with all their data which lead to the following discovery.
Company A's SBS 2008 server was a bit tight on disk space so I talked them into setting up a second server to be primarily a file server.
I moved all of Company B's data --including lots of good old .PST archive files to sever #2.
I setup all Company B staff with a new mapped drive and had their Outlook 2010 clients open their old archive .pst mail from this mapped drive.
Current archive files, like the rest of Company A's staff, point to the SBS server via a UNC share \\server\Usershares\%username%\....I just like to keep consistency and this was how it was setup all along.
With the latest archive .pst folder on Server #1 (the sbs server) for some of my recent Company B setups--performance is horrible. Exactly what everyone is complaining about. I have 10gig archive.pst files for these same users on the second server using
a mapped network drive and they open fine. Even some archive files that are 15+ gigs in size (archives are named for each year--2006.pst etc).
So, either there is a problem hosting your .pst via UNC shares, or on a SBS server in general.
Short story... try setting it up via a Mapped network drive on a different server that isn't doing everything like the SBS server is...I tend to think it is UNC mapping related but not sure.
Not guaranteeing this is the 'fix' but it definitely was a night and day difference when I just tried this and I am not going to do anything different from here out.

  • How to access archived data through queries

    Hi,
I would like to know if there is any way to access the archived data through SAP query. I don`t have any infostructure for this archived data.

You mean mails once present and readable on the iPad, but no longer there (in the, by default, 50-long mail list)?

  • Best way to access Archive data

    Hello,
I need to change few customized reports (z-reports) to make it fetch data from IXOS server.
This is done for SAP IS-H reports. So some of the tables for eg NBEW(movement table) will be archived and a correspoding
infostructre will be created acting as an indice to archive database. So my query is what is the correct approach to read the data from the IXOS server.
    1. Query the infostructure . Change each select statement to make it read from the infostruture which points to IXOS
    2. Directly read  files using  unix commands.
When we use option 1 or 2 what are the benefits ? which is better?
Some times may need to query both sap databse and IXOS, if the date range overlaps So what are the performance impacts.
    Any ideas is highly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Abhilash

    Abhilash
I would suggest to use the option 1, to query the infostructure.
With this you can access the data fast as the system would've generated indexes with the archived data.
Directly querying unix files might not be that good, as you need to identify the proper indexes to fetch the data, whcih we might not do so accurately at times.

  • How do I easily access archived old Mail?

I have over 5000 emails in my Mail Inbox folders, over 9000 in my Sent folders. I am worried that at some point it will be too many and the Mail storage system would become corrupted. I would like to archive out the older emails, but still have easy access to them.
The instructions for archiving mail is to archive entire folders. I could move old email to a like named mailbox and then archive all the old ones together. I would have to reimport them to look at them though. Back to square 1 and a mess to redo just to see one old email.
Sooo. If a created a user account with a different login, could I import that old mail archive into that user account's mail and have it available with a simple relogin? Would the old email find it's way via some hidden id number back into the original Mail program? That is, would the two instances of Mail be completely independent even if the emails had the same originating instance?
Also, is there a way to have two users logged into one computer without losing performance?

It doesn't matter what folder it is in, all the mail is in Mail. How many mails can Mail track before it loses it's cohesion and starts dropping them? All DB software has it's limits, and this is Mail (free) in 10.6, not Oracle. There's a reason Mail has a rebuild mailbox command. Look it up and it will tell you to run it when messages disappear. With about 20000 emails I am concerned. I would also just like to reduce the number of results I have when searching without loosing access to old emails because I may need them.
This is for a business and the volume of new email increases every year as processes go from local and paper to remote and electronic. I do not want to switch to Windows.
    Thank you for your response.

  • D004 Error Accessing Archive

    Hi,
I have a user who continually gets the D004 error when accessing their archive. I restored it from backup, it works for a little while then this happens again.
Upon restoring from the backup this time I have run a GWCheck on it - it reported 492 Error 50's for orphaned blob files.
I've since then mucked around with it a little more and done a structural rebuild just to see what happens. I have the archive in backup anyway so no problems mucking around to see what happens.
A few questions have arisen from this situation though -
    1. There's seemingly no way to recover the orphaned blob files, so how can you ever possibly know that someones archive/mailbox has this issue?
It seems to be something that happens, then builds up causing more issues over time (that you don't see on the surface) and eventually presents itself in such a way that you need to restore from backup - but there's no way of telling whether the backup has these issues already held within it (although it works regardless until the same thing inherently happens again).
    2. Is there a way to catch this early and prevent this from happening?
    3. Can I empty all working mail from a backed up archive into the mailbox, then re-archive to a new location to create a new archive?
    Thanks
    Dave

    Hi Laura,
The archive is on an network share (AD). May not be excluded from AV scans, I'll check that out.
This user is the only one to report the issue. Also the structural rebuild and GWCheck on the archive appear to have given access to it again and the user hasn't noticed anything missing (at the moment).

  • Access archived messages from iCloud

    Hi
I have a number of email acounts (3) which I recive in my Mail application.  But I regularly exceed  the limit of my work email acount.  So far my solution has been to archive all the emials in that account to a file on my work computer and then access those through the On My Mac sub folders.  This solution is becoming less and less viable.  I am now on to my third archival of my emials and am stuck with the situation that i am unable to access old emails from my iPhone or from my home computer which is making my life quite frustrating.  I am wanting to move my Archive.mbox files to my iCloud so that I can access these work emails from outside work.
Here's my problem.  I do not want these files to appear as part of my iCould mail account.  I have 22.93GB available in my iCould storage (the .mbox files total 2GB).  Is there a way of moving these .mbox files in to my iCloud storage but access them as I have been doing in the past from a file location?
If this is posible how do you do it?
If not what would you recomend as an alternate solution?  Uploading the files to Dropbox?
Any recomendations you could give on how to access these archived messages would be appreciated.
    Cheers
    Kim

    Hello Kimberlee,
Storage space went out the door as soon as iCloud took over from MobileMe. Where users previously had iDisk to store data and documents on, they now have nothing. You could use a service like DropBox and i'm sure there are others that will allow you an X-amount of online storage space but depending on the importance and sensitivity of your emails you might want to consider using a server of your own.
You could set up file sharing on your Mac at home and connect to that from work and vice versa. The only limit would be hard drive capacity and the speed of your internet connection.

  • Best method to access archived data

We are archiving off General Ledger data from JRNL_LN and JRNL_HEADER from our production system to a reporting environment. The customer wants to have a content reference that will allow them to read the archived journal data in the other environment. The requirement is to have the same page that is used under General Ledger--Journals--Journal Entry--Create Journal Entries--Find an Existing Value. This screen provides a link to journals where you can view detailed journal information including approvals and attachments for the journal. It will need to be read only and display the archived journal data that resides in the reporting environment. I did some research and was thinking of creating a whole new component consisting of all the pages in the JOURNAL_ENTRY_IE component. This presents a problem though. The archived tables will not be the same name (JRNL_LN and JRNL_HEADER). For reasons, these table names will be changed (something like JRNL_LN_HST). There is a ton of PeopleCode that references the JRNL_LN and JOURNAL_HEADER records and fields. There is also the FUNCLIB_GL library that includes a bunch of references to the table fields as well. I would have to create copies of all the pages, update them with the correct table/field names and copy the FUNCLIB_GL library as well and rename all the references. This would be a huge undertaking. What would be the best approach to providing a read only screen for data that resides in a separate environment? They want the same screen to be used that is used in the production environment (listed above) that is used for reading GL data and making changes. Any thoughts?

Is your reporting environment another PeopleSoft database or just a collection of archive tables?
If it is a PeopleSoft database, you could keep the table names the same and run the same journal entry component in the reporting database. If users want to get to it directly from the production system, you could configure single sign-on and connect to the component in the reporting database from production.
Note that there are additional tables that you should probably be archiving in addition to the header and lines. Some are probably not used, but you will probably have data in the JRNL_CF_BAL_TBL.
You would have to be very careful to set security correctly in the reporting database so users don't accidently enter new journals in the wrong system. Customizing the page title, background color, etc. to provide visual cues would also help.

  • Unable to access Archived HR-Payroll data

    Hi,
I have archived some data using the object PA_CALC. The file created was stored on the HTTP Content Server, and there was no error for the file stored.
When I tried retrieving the data using the FM "PA_READ_ARCHIVE_PA_CALC", I can retrieve data for some pernrs only.
On debugging I found out that the FM "ARCHIVE_READ_OBJECT" throws an exception i.e. FILE_IO_ERROR. What is confusing me is the file is read for some pernrs and not for some.
Could any body help me in this?

I assumed you were far enough progressed that it was indexing .. perhaps it never made it that far.
Reset the TC to factory.. no files on the hard disk are lost.
    Factory reset universal
Power off the TC.. ie pull the power cord or power off at the wall.. wait 10sec.. hold in the reset button.. be gentle.. power on again still holding in reset.. and keep holding it in for another 10sec. You may need some help as it is hard to both hold in reset and apply power. It will show success by rapidly blinking the front led. Release the reset.. and wait a couple of min for the TC to reset and come back with factory settings. If the front LED doesn’t blink rapidly you missed it and simply try again. The reset is fairly fragile in these.. press it so you feel it just click and no more.. I have seen people bend the lever or even break it. I use a toothpick as tool.
N.B. None of your files on the hard disk of the TC are deleted.. this simply clears out the router settings of the TC.
No files are lost.. just so you caught that.
People are scared but you cannot delete files by a reset of the hardware.
Redo the setup of the TC.. use all short names, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
    Reset TM..
Verify the backup.. see A4 and A5 here.. might be a little out of date.. but should be still near enough to figure out.
    http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html
Then have another go with TM.. but warning Yosemite has made a mess of it.. and / or the networking to the TC is so bad it doesn't work for that reason.
I strongly recommend what you have done.. use USB. Or use Carbon Copy Cloner or some other utility that actually works.. maybe if yosemite can keep the network up long enough.
