Access archived messages from iCloud

Hi
I have a number of email acounts (3) which I recive in my Mail application.  But I regularly exceed  the limit of my work email acount.  So far my solution has been to archive all the emials in that account to a file on my work computer and then access those through the On My Mac sub folders.  This solution is becoming less and less viable.  I am now on to my third archival of my emials and am stuck with the situation that i am unable to access old emails from my iPhone or from my home computer which is making my life quite frustrating.  I am wanting to move my Archive.mbox files to my iCloud so that I can access these work emails from outside work. 
Here's my problem.  I do not want these files to appear as part of my iCould mail account.  I have 22.93GB available in my iCould storage (the .mbox files total 2GB).  Is there a way of moving these .mbox files in to my iCloud storage but access them as I have been doing in the past from a file location?
If this is posible how do you do it?
If not what would you recomend as an alternate solution?  Uploading the files to Dropbox?
Any recomendations you could give on how to access these archived messages would be appreciated.

Hello Kimberlee,
Storage space went out the door as soon as iCloud took over from MobileMe. Where users previously had iDisk to store data and documents on, they now have nothing. You could use a service like DropBox and i'm sure there are others that will allow you an X-amount of online storage space but depending on the importance and sensitivity of your emails you might want to consider using a server of your own.
You could set up file sharing on your Mac at home and connect to that from work and vice versa. The only limit would be hard drive capacity and the speed of your internet connection.
