Access browser in full screen mode?

how do you access browser to brows photos when in full screen mode? i can see the film strip at the bottom but how do you go in browser mode to see all photos on screen while full screen? full screen was kind of wird to use at first so i avoided using it for a few months, but now i kind of figured out where everything is, except of this.

I am not sure, if I understand your question: Are you asking, how to get access to all items in your library for browsing while in full screen mode, or are you asking how to browse many images at once, while in full screen mode.
To access all library items in Full Screen Mode, display the inspector and use the Library tab of the Inspector panel.
To have a full screen Browser, switch to full screen mode while in Browser view.
For example, using the Inspector in Full Screen mode: (klick the button to launch the Inspector HUD).
And after switching to full screen mode, while in the Browser:

  • I pressed something, and it made the browser go into a "full screen" mode, how do I change it back? And also, something happened and made my FireFox text on all internet pages smaller, is there any way I could change this setting?

I had pressed a button on my keyboard which made my text and pictures and the whole page smaller in size, can I change that? And how could I change my browser out of "Full Screen" mode?

You can press F10 to toggle (View) Full Screen mode.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: <b>View > Zoom > Reset</b> (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

  • No alt key access to top menus in full screen mode Ps CS5

I'm using photoshop CS5 on a Win7 machine, after using Ps CS3 for a fair amount of time.  When painting in Ps, I am almost always in full screen mode.  In CS3, you could be in full screen mode and hit the alt key plus the active letter of a top bar menu, like F for File or T for Filter or W for Window, and that menu would appear, and you could hit subsequent active letters to get the associated function.  I used alt+I then E then H to flip the canvas horizontally.  Super quick and awesome!  Now the E has been changed to a G, but no matter.  The big deal is that in full screen mode, this no longer works!  I just get an error sound when I hit the alt and I button together. I have to hit Tab to bring up the menus and palettes before I can use the alt + top menu letter functionality.
please answer me its urgent thank u

What you describe is just the way it works.  You need to use Full Screen with Menus mode if you want to access the menu functionality.

  • I can't restore my toolbars and the "full screen" mode button is NOT at the top right-hand corner of my browser (or anywhere else)

My toolbar and menu is gone from Firefox. I have tried closing the browser and opening new ones and all the suggestions in the help forums on this website (as well as several others). Pressing "alt", "F10", "F11" and SEVERAL other things have NOT helped.
There is no full screen mode button anywhere on my browser and when I put my cursor at the top of the window, NO menu options appear at all.
I normally would quit Firefox but the icon won't appear in my dock and my computer won't let me eject the application (to download again) because apparently it's in use (even when I've closed all windows).

F11 doesn't work on a Mac to toggle full screen mode.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

  • I can't see the double arrows to access to full screen mode

I have a imac (the pretty big one) with OS 10.7 and i can't see the double arrows to access to full screen mode in any application. Even Safari or other native software don't work. Did anyone have a clue for me please ?
The combiantion Ctrl-Cmd-F doesn't work neither.
I have a macbook air with the same OS and it works perfectly.
    Thanks in advance.
    Alan

Ok, that didn't work and only closed out this window in discussions. After it closed this one I tried again doing the same but nothing. Makes sense though because if it closed this one out it would close everything else out on my desktop too. This is like a giant screen saver. All my other .jpg icons are still on my desktop over the top of this big pic. Is it possible this is what it is, just a screensaver? I did the same with another pic from the same website and it didn't do this. I clicked on my mouse to save a pic to the desktop and this monstrous thing appeared.  My dock is still there and the top bar that has the apple, Safari, edit, etc., but not anything else that you would normally click on to close a window.

Does any one has faced this peculiar problem ?

maybe cuz only one window can be on top in full screen mode?

  • Keyboard access to PS CS6 Menu Bar in  Full Screen Mode (Windows)

I'm looking to find a way to access Photoshop Menus in Full Screen Mode by  pressing the Alt+(any of the underlined Menu Keys).
The alternative I've been using is pressing the Tab key to show the Menu and Panels, or simply toggling Screen Modes (f  key or Shift+f) but that negates the purpose of Full Screen Mode.  I followed the instructions on this post to no avail:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2012/09/accessing-the-menu-bar-via-a-keyboard-shortcut-in-pho toshop-cs6.html#comments
I really enjoy everything else about my upgrade to CS6 except for this lacking feature found in most of the earlier versions.  I hope there's an answer to this one, as my keyboard hand is all ready over cluttered with Custom Keyboard Shortcuts that use the Ctrl Key.
    Thanks!

Thanks, I rebooted and it came good, but if it happens again i'll try that

  • Browser is annoying in full-screen mode

How do I get the Browser to go away in full-screen mode?
Thanks in advance for any tips.

    Maria-
You can change under the View Menu or just click V to cycle among viewing modes. However if you are perhaps selected on the All Projects icon under the Library you will will be stuck on Browser mode.

  • Full Screen Mode in IPAD Safari Browser

    Good Afternoon,
Is there anyway to put the IPAD Safari Browser into a full screen mode ?  In Internet Explorer pressing the F11 key does this.
    Thanks,
    Bob

On the iPad tapping the Safari icon in the Dock should automatically have Safari pages load full screen.
If you are referring to the Safari for Mac, you need a third party add on.

  • How to remove status bar at bottom of browser when in full screen mode

We have an application that runs in full screen mode for public display, so having the status bar pop-up at the bottom of the screen is distracting when it moves between pages is distracting and detracts from the user experience.
How do I disable the status bar so that it no longer pops up when the browser is in full screen mode?

Or do you mean the floating message that describes the current activity of the browser (for example, Waiting...) or shows the URL of the currently hovered link?
That can be suppressed using custom style rules. Here is an example of a past thread on how you might do that:
[https://support.mozilla.org/questions/976248 How do I disable the link address popup at bottom of the page?]
That was as of Firefox 25. Does it still work in Firefox 30?

  • No alt key access to top menus in full screen mode Ps CS5 Ext?

I'm using the trial version of CS5 on a Win7 machine, after using Ps CS3 for a fair amount of time. Is this an oversight, or is there functionality to disabling this hotkey use when in full screen mode?
Any ideas?  Should I put this in the feature request forum?
    Thanks!

    Hmmmm....
When NOT in full screen mode, people on this forum sometimes complain that the Alt modifier key is activating the menus and causing subsequent operations for which they're using Alt (e.g., zoom out) to irritatingly trigger the Windows "ding" sound.
Notably when IN full screen mode that's not happening with CS5 because the Alt key simply doesn't activate the menus.
    Interesting thought...
Perhaps Adobe made it work this way on purpose so that they could tell people complaining about the first issue to run Photoshop in Full Screen mode.  That's just a guess.
As a workaround to your issue, you could of course expand the Photoshop window to be very close to the full size of the screen and just keep running it as a Window, rather than using full screen mode at all.  Yes, I realize this isn't a fix, but just a possible workaround until such time (if ever) Adobe gets around to fixing the modifier keys to work properly (again).  I have chosen to use Photoshop this way myself, and other than wasting a bit of screen space it seems to be a pretty decent workaround to using F mode.
Funny thing is it seemed Adobe had the modifier keys working pretty much properly in Photoshop CS4.  I wonder why they changed it.

  • Full Screen Mode in QT 7.5.5 Browser Plugin?

I just installed QT so I can watch some video streams online at PBS (Nova for one). I click the link for the QT version of the program and get a new window in which the show plays via the QT plugin. However, I can find no way to view the thing in full-screen mode. It this a limitation of the plugin or is this ability being disabled by the stream provider or what?
The same result happens on Firefox and IE.

Full screen viewing is only available in the QuickTime Player app.
The Web page authors have control over the file dimensions. You can view the page source code and "reassemble" the URL for the QuickTime file and open it in full screen via the QuickTime Player.

  • MAM application in Full screen mode.

    Hi All,
We are looking for making MAM application to startup in full screen mode by default in PDA.
We searched in SDN and found a procudere for this but for LAPTOP client how to acheive the same in PDA client.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards,
    Sai krishna. K

    Hi,
well, we had this issue as well - it is not possible to tell the PDA to switch off the address bar by default. I have not checked all entries in REGISTRY - but there was a much more easy way.
If you have access to Visual Studio - it takes you 5minutes to solve that issue.
1.) create a project for PDA.
2.) place the browser control into the screen of the PDA
3.) change the settings and parameters so it fits your needs
    4.) create the app
    solved......
Reason: IE on the PDA is a control that is available by microsoft. Well, and if you write your own application you can place this control into any PDA app and you can size it in almost every way you like. The control has exactly the same functionality then the IE - but it is pre configurable - so you can get rid of your address and status bar for example. Furthermore with a little more coding, you can catch the backspace events from the keyboard and prevent the browser from browse one page back - what could cause issues.... but then you need to do some additional coding.
Only thing then: user needs to start your App instead of IE - but this should be ok I think.
    Hope it helps.
If you stay with the original browser - then the user has to tab the screen until the option window opens and has to switch to full screen - .... well, not really what you like I think.
    Regards,
    Oliver

  • I am unable to zoom in or zoom out unless in full screen mode. I have tried with both my scroll mouse and with CRTL - and +

I am unable to zoom in or zoom out unless in full screen mode. I have tried using my scroll mouse and also using CTRL - or +. This is only in Firefox. it works in IE.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page.
    browser.gesture.pinch.in -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReduce</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReset</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.out -> <b>cmd_fullZoomEnlarge</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReset</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> <b>false</b>
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.
