Access denied macintosh hd while in bootcamp-win7

hi!
i'm a new mac user and obviously i need some help
i 've recently installed windows 7 on bootcamp in order to run 3ds max. i also installed PARAGON HFS+ 10.0 for Windows and i was able to save my max files on my macintosh partition.
i also had installed PARAGON NTFS on mac in order to be able to read/write on my old external drives that used to work on windows and all worked fine!
today i made some changes (cmd orders) in order to activate windows and i don't know if that caused the problem but now i don't have acces to my mac drive when i'm using windows.
It is visible but when i try to open it says it is not accessible/does not contain a recognized file system/need to format the disk!!!
when i unistall Paragon hfs+ i have only read acces to my mac partition and when i reistall it again...access denied
what's wrong with it?
can someone help me please?
thanks in advance

If you installed Windows and the Boot Camp support files, you will only have read-only access to the files on the Mac Partitions (and if you didn't install the Boot Camp support files, you wouldn't even have read access).
If you want full read/write access to your MacOS partitions, then you will need to install a third party utiltiy for that.  I am aware of 2 such commercial tools: Media4's "Mac Drive" and Paragon's "HFS+ for Windows".  Both tools seem to work well, but a few years ago I made the switch from the Media4 software to Paragon's because of minor things that annoyed me.  The Paragon software integrates more into the Windows file systems drivers and you can treat the partitions like any other.  This was a nice feature which caused me to switch my 4 licenses from Media4 to Paragon...

  • Regedit Permissions -"Access Denied" or "Error while deleting key" EVEN AS ADMIN!

Anyone tried deleting a registry key in Windows 7?  Got "access denied" or "Error while deleting key"?
The usual response is, "You need to run regedit as an administrator".  but I *AM* logged in as Administrator, and running regedit as administrator, trying to assign administrator full permissions on that registry key in order to delete it!!
Am I mistaken, or isn't Administrator supposed to be able to administer and control all the settings on the computer, in order to set it up for the "Average Joe" user?
So, under the permissions menu of that key, go to advanced, change the owner from System to Administrator, and try again.  It's no longer saying "access denied", but "Cannot delete xxxxxx. Error while deleting key".
The scenario: Basically, the wireless has stopped working on a laptop. The device does not show up in Device Manager, but is in the registry, so the normal procedure is to delete the registry entry for the device in HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet (and /ControlSet001) /Enum/PCI    ,then attach the device or restart the computer, it finds the "new" hardware and reinstalls it. Easy!...
Not with permission restrictions on the administrator account it's not!  So I need to give myself permission, to give myself permission, to do a simple task like delete a single registry key!  Why, Microsoft, why???!!!  Please just make the Administrator account a hidden "God mode" account that can do anything, and make the lives of us techies much easier in the process!
    /RANT
Now, where did I put that XP disc?!....

    Hi,
    I explain you:
Administrator does not mean "you get all rights to do anything." Administrator happens to be an account (or in your case, most likely the Local Administrators group) which by default is given some sensitive privileges like SeDebugPrivilege and
similar. However, as far as the security subsystem is concerned, it is just an account. (Very much unlike root in
Unix-like operating systems) If you aren't the owner of the key in question, and your account does not have WRITE_DAC access
to the registry key in question, then you won't be able to change the access control list on the key in question.
Try taking ownership first. By default, the local administrators group has SeTakeOwnershipPrivilege,
which allows taking ownership of any object even without the WRITE_OWNER permission
being granted by the object's discretionary access control list. Once you are the owner, you should be implicitly granted READ_CONTROL (which
allows you to read the security descriptor on the object in question), and WRITE_DAC (which
allows you to write to the DACL on the key in question). (Assuming the OWNER_RIGHTS SID
isn't in use; that's extremely unlikely)

  • "Access Denied" DVD DL Encores CS4 in Win7 64b

Hello, I am new to this forum, so please bear with me on this. I, like others, have bounced off the "access denied" error when burning dvd+r dl in Encore CS-4. I did attempt the fix listed for vista, but I am using Win7 and have not been able to get it to work. Any solutions. Much appreciated. CR

I, too, am running into this problem. My files were on an external drive and so I had hoped this was the pro
blem but I just transfered to an internal SATA and re-created the project and I am still getting this error.
I would prefer to not have to use yet another program to create my DL DVD as Encore is supposed to be able to support this.
I am running win7 64b OS as an administrator and have all the latest CS4 updates. Help!

  • [SOLVED] mount.nfs4: access denied by server

Hi folks. I seem to be having a bit of a problem getting nfs4 to work. I am trying to mount a share from alpha (my fileserver) onto charlie (my workstation). Both of these are new Arch systems and I haven't had any nfs working yet, although I have with other distros on the same hardware.

Now I really feel stupid. A little proofreading would have saved me a big headache. In /etc/exports I was exporting to 192.164.1.0/24 while my network is the more standard 192.168.1.0/24.
It works fine now, although I did take phaul's suggestion and added my main share "inside" the nfs4 root.

  • Mount.nfs: access denied

    Hi,
I've been trying the very basic NFS configuration, using ArchWiki.
    /etc/hosts, client side:
    # /etc/hosts: static lookup table for host names
    #<ip-address>    <hostname.domain.org>    <hostname>
    127.0.0.1    rimfirebox    localhost.localdomain    localhost
    ::1    rimfirebox    localhost6.localdomain6    localhost6
    192.168.1.34             rimfirebox.localdomain  rimfirebox
    192.168.1.33             stovepipebox.localdomain stovepipebox
    # End of file
    Server:
    hosts.allow:
    # /etc/hosts.allow
    nfsd: ALL
    portmap: ALL
    mountd: ALL
    # End of file
    hosts.deny:
    # /etc/hosts.deny
    ALL: ALL
    # End of file
    /etc/exports:
    # /etc/exports
    # See exports(5) for a description.
    # use exportfs -arv to reread
    #/export    192.168.1.10(rw,no_root_squash)
    /home/alexey/common *(ro,sync)
The required directory is apparently exported, but "access denied":
    [alexey@rimfirebox ~]$ showmount -e stovepipebox
    Export list for stovepipebox:
    /home/alexey/common *
    [alexey@rimfirebox ~]$ sudo mount stovepipebox:/home/alexey/common /mnt/stovepipe
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting stovepipebox:/home/alexey/common
Where am I supposed to look?

My studies turned up that there's NFSv4 there .
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nfs
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NFSv4
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/NFSv4Howto
    So I've made another go:
    /etc/exports:
    # /etc/exports
    # See exports(5) for a description.
    # use exportfs -arv to reread
    #/export    192.168.1.10(rw,no_root_squash)
    /export       192.168.1.34(rw,fsid=0,insecure,no_subtree_check,async)
    /export/alexey 192.168.1.34(rw,nohide,insecure,no_subtree_check,async)
    /etc/fstab:
    /home/alexey /export/alexey none bind 0 0
    /etc/idmapd.conf:
    [General]
    Verbosity = 0
    Pipefs-Directory = /var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs
    Domain = localdomain
    [Mapping]
    Nobody-User = nobody
    Nobody-Group = nobody
    [Translation]

My first question: what my Domain actually is? Do I have to change it to something from my /etc/hosts? Do I have to mend /etc/hosts or something else?

    Is the [BUSY] thing OK?
    Client side:
    [alexey@rimfirebox ~]$ showmount -e stovepipebox

  • OEL 6.3 - mount.nfs: access denied by server

    Hi,
I am trying to mount an NFS directory on a server running OEL 6.3, pointing to another OEL 6.3 server. I get the following error:
    [oracle@csdowmsdb503 etc]$ mount 192.x.x.x:/home/oracle/m501/m501_f /home/oracle/m501_f/
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.x.x.x:/home/oracle/m501/m501_f
The UIDs and GIDs on each server match. If we use "nfsvers=3" it work, so it seems to be something specific to vers 4. We would like to not use the vers 3 workaround.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
When I added "- v" I realized it is actually erroring out on vers=4 and defaulting to vers=3 instead. The error it shows is now "No such file or directory."

  • Access denied while opening any PDF the second time / Zugriff verweigert beim zweiten Öffnen eines beliebigen PDF

Reader produces "Access denied" while opening any PDF the second time. A LogOut/LogIn or restart is necessary to open a PDF again successfully. User works with a PC (Win7). The file is located on the desktop in a Windows 2008/2012 AD, user profile on networkshare. The same procedure with a file located on any other networkshare or locally on harddisk works without error. Analysis with processmonitor indicates that the file seems to load and then is cancelled for some unknown reason. The problem is somehow growing, beginning with 1 PC and exists now also in our Citrix environment (2 users). Access rights seem to ok and the same on all tested shares (full Access or Change rights).

And how are you spawning the php instances? I don't see that in the daemons array anywhere.
EDIT: It looks like the info in that page is no longer using pre-spawned instances, but lighttpd adaptive-spawn. The documentation has been made inconsistent it looks like.
You will note that with pre-spawned information, the config looks different[1].
You need to do one or the other, not both (eg. choose adaptive-spawn, or pre-spawn..not both).

    hi,
as part of my requirement , i have to perform read and  write  operations of  few files [ using the file upload control in my custom visual web part] and on submit button click.
    but while writing these files - with the help of  fileupload control - and when i use  myfileupload.saveas(mylocation);
    - i am saving these files into my D:\ drive of my server , where i am executing my code -, am getting access denied error.
    it throws system.unauthorizedexception.
i have given full control on that folder where i was trying to store my attached files. and also  after following asp.net forums,
i have added  iusr group added and performed all those steps such that, the file is saved in my D:\ drive.
    but unfortunately  that didnt happen.
    also
    a) i am trying the code with runwithelevatedprivileges(delegate() )  code
    b) shared the drive within the  d :drive where i want o save the files.
    c) given the full privieleges for the app pool identity- in my case , its
    network service.
the  other strange thing is that, the same code works perfectly in  other machine, where the same sp, vs 2012  etc were installed .
would like to know, any other changes/ steps i need to make it on this  server, where i am getting the  error.

fout = new FileOutputStream (dest); If it's a directory, where in your code are you appending the source file name to the path, before trying to open an output stream on it? You're not.
    BTW, this is awful:
    catch (IOException e)

    wrapper.initCause(e);

    2) Even if you had a good reason to do that, this would be simpler and better:
    throw new IOException("your custom message goes here", e);

  • Access denied error while trying to install graphics drivers

    Hello,
I have a new toshiba laptop P70-A. I have installed windows 7 and the pc was working excellent up until now. Noticed yesterday that the nvidia automated system failed to install the new update. When I tried to install the new driver manually, even from the
device manager, I got the access denied message.
A day now wasted reading all the possible causes and solutions but with no luck. Read all the forums and all the posts, tried almost everything. Below youll find everything I tried as a solution and failed.
    1.Disabled UAC
2.Enabled the administrator account and trying to take control from there
3.Run the subinacl and the reset.cmd
4.Tried manually to take control the folder windows (and access denied while changing the rights)
    5. Scanned the system with everything there is available ( Kaspersky, MalwareBytes, RegCurePro, Tuneup Utilities, CCleaner) The system came out clean.
    6. Tried restoring the system to an earlier time (got again access denied error code 0x80070005)
    7. Checked all the group policies (all seem to be fine)
    8. Run a script to take immediate ownership over all of C:
    TAKEOWN /A /F C:
    then the next one
    TAKEOWN /F C:
    9. With subinacl I run all the above scripts... (still nothing changed)

    Athena

    Hello,
Thanks for the replies, i much appreciate it. I tried all of the above with no luck again. Safe mode allows me though to install drivers but thats reverting the moment im entering windows. Im always running commands and programs as a administrator or in
    the Admin enabled account.
It seems the problem is solved today. Via tune up utilities I disabled most of the startup programs and services and it seems that 1 service is causing this issue. Although I havent played much with the disabled services but 3 remain to be checked. One of
    the three is causing this.
Thanks again guys and Ill keep you posted about the soft. conflict.

  • Access denied when upgrade SharePoint app in on premise deployment while it succeeds in fresh deployment

We deployed a SharePoint hosted app then used it for a while then we needed to upgrade it to be provider hosted app.
we used the same AppID and name with the new package then uploaded the package to the app catalog.
the old app in the site contents now has a note that there is a newer version and prompts to upgrade.
the upgrade fails with access denied even for site collection administrator.
is there really some permission issue or the upgrade can't be done?
We are volunteers, if the reply help you mark it as your answer. thanks!!

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got access denied error when upgrade the SharePoint hosted app to provider hosted app.
How did you upgrade a SharePoint hosted app to a provider hosted app?
They are two different type apps, why not just create a new provider hosted app?
To create a provider hosted app, we should create a certificate that is used as “security token issuer”.
There are two articles about creating provider hosted  high trust app, you can have a look at them.

What’s more, there is an topic about the troubleshooting tips for SharePoint high trust app, you can refer to it.

  • Error while crawling LOB contents. ( Access denied by Business Data Connectivity. )

    Hi,
When I execute Incremental or Full Crawl I get 17000 error and only 1 success.
    The error is:
Error while crawling LOB contents. ( Access denied by Business Data Connectivity. )
I went to Central Admin > Security > Specify Web application Policy > Search for the service account for crawl and it's "svc_SPSearch"
I went to Central Admin > Application Management > Manage Service Application > BDC Service > I select all the affected external sources > then Set Object Permission in ribbon > Added "svc_SPSearch" with execute rights > then
     kick incremental crawl...
After this I still get 17000 error, 1 success.. Still an error.
I am not sure how the crawler's trust to FAST infrastructure works.
    Your response is appreciated. Thanks!
    -Fran

    I have the same issue.
I have Configured the BDC Service application using SQL external content. The connection was successful and I am able to see the external content in the List "BDC Demo" . But when I search in the BDC Demo site it gives nothing.
So I checked in the crawl logs and identified that it shows " 1 " under error. to further drill down the issue , I went to click on "1" and see the error message : Error while crawling LOB contents SharePoint 2013 .
I have created an external DB named BCSDemo_DB for which I have granted my search Service account read& write permission.
I have added the same account under administrators for both secure store and BCS service applications.
I have done index reset , done a full crawl but the error still occurs.
Can someone please advise if I am missing something.

  • Access Denied Error while accessing "Site Settings Access requests and invitations"

    Hi,
I am getting Access Denied Error while accessing "Site Settings > Access requests and invitations" in SharePoint  2013 online. Currently I am the owner of the site and have "FULL CONTROL" access. I am able to access using
site collection account. So, what permission I have to give my regular account to access this page?
    Thanks, Pal

    Hello,
Have you recently changed the Owners group of the site collection or removed the user from the original owners group?
The reason I am asking is when the Access requests and invitations list are created, the permissions are given only to the default owners group at the time that the Access Request list was created.  If this "regular account" is not part of that owners
group, the user will receive access denied.  Site Collection Admins always have permissions for the Access Request List.
A workaround for the Access Denied issue is listed in the KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2911390/en-us.  By giving the correct group or user the permissions to this list, the users will not receive
    the Access Denied issue anymore.
Preferably, in order to grant the user the full permissions ( you will see features like resending invitations may still fail after implementing the above workaround) there is one other workaround that may be required depending on what the original issue
was.  Below are additional steps to restore full functionality.
1)Access the /_layouts/15/permsetup.aspx of the site collection, make sure the default Owners Group
is set correctly.  (There is a group selected)
    2) Add user to that Owners Group.  (Issue may be resolved at this step if the site collection Owners
Group was never changed, if not continue to next step.)
    3) Implement workaround on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2911390/en-us, by adding that owners
group as Full control on Access Request list Permissions.
Let me know how this works out for you.

Note: This timer job is globally deployed.

    SPWeb web = site1.RootWeb;

using (SPSite site = new SPSite(site1.ID))

    Additional information:
