Hi,
I had the problem with an Access Denied message when running community help and followed the technote instructions to re-install, but still had errors.
Browsing the config files in my newly created folder for the chc app:
%appData%\chc.4875E02D9FB21EE389F73B8D1702B320485DF8CE.1\Local Store\HelpCfg\en_US
I find that the "baseURL" setting in Flash_11.0.helpcfg was set to: baseUrl="http://help.stage.adobe.com/"
Which also shows the Access Denied error in the browser.
Changing this to baseUrl="http://help.adobe.com/" seems to start it working and I get packages downloading etc.
Not sure if the URL is right, but that helped me.

I am having the same issue, Mac OSX.
Can't find ANY of the files you have referred to, and I'm incredibly frustrated that once again Adobe has screwed up my day's work.
Why can't we just have the reference documentation instead of all this 'community' help.
There's a time an a place for that - and it's online. Why can't I just get the reference info I want for the app I am using by clicking on HELP?
And why does my CD-based install require access to your website to get help files?
Now I have to waste time finding and fixing another of your bugs because you're trying to make something overly complicated.
I understand why you do not give printed documentation with boxed product - but WHY can't we just have a PDF file?

I've just purchased a digital download of Adobe Photoshop CS5 for a Mac, and the online company has given me the links and key for the download. Well, not to state the obvious: You have been had. A company selling digital downloads of CS5 now that CS6 is out and then pointing to the trial versions? Do you need any more evidence that this is a scam? The download issues can be resolved following proper procedures as described here:

Still, probably a moot point since your serial numbers will be most likely useless...

Access Denied message when running WU_TEST_106 form!!!

I am trying to use WebUtil components to use Oracle 9.0.3 Form to write from an Oracle Form to a MS Word document. To learn more about WebUtil, I downloaded a sample form named WU_TEST_106.fmb and compiled and have been trying to run it. When this form gets loaded, I click on the 'OLE' tab and then type a message in the 'Enter text to Transfer to Word' box and then pick a file named Sample.doc on my C:\ directory and then click on 'Write to Word' button. This causes the following 'access denied' message and the 'Sample.doc' file never gets updated.
We are using JInitiator 1.3.1.17, IE 6.0, Java 1.4.2_03 and Oracle 10g database.

I am creating a site where I want 3 different document folders. Each one available to approximatley 1/3 of the users.

Do you want to change the message on your access denied page? If yes, you can create a custom application page with a custom message and set it as Access Denied page for a web application.
Check this
link, which shows how to set custom access denied page for SP2010, which should work the same way for SP2013.
But, due to product bug in SP2013, custom mapped pages are not working, and is fixed in the May CU. So, if you are considering this option, you have install the May CU.

I was combining different types of files into a single PDF. Some of them were excel spreadsheets and I had set the print areas in each file. When I cleared the print area the problem stopped. So I am assuming that had something to do with it. Though I am not sure.
The strange thing was that I was able to open the excel source documents after creating the faulty PDF but some of the MS word source documents also had "access denied" status. I still cannot figure that part out.

There can be mutiple reasons for that..
IF its intermittent errors on Web then you might need to adjust the java settings for FR .Also If this is the issue is on the Reports client then you want to make sure that path for css.dll is being added to system path

Which system are you getting the error, XP / Win 7 ?
Please find the minimum H/W requirement (Source Inst Guide)
Minimum RAM :- 4GB
Paging file size :- 1 times RAM plus 8 GB
If you are trying for win 7, then I would recommend you to
increase the swap space and give it a try.
It looks like it is not getting the required system
resources (RAM).

Pdf's won't display - get 403 access denied message

And I apologize if this is answered previously. I'm new to Mac (from Windows for years) . I have read some old threads on this from 2005 or early 2006 and top of thread screen indicated topic closed (or something like that.) Problem: trying to access a elem. school textbook online at www.Glencoe.com. Works OK on windows, but get 403 message on mac. Glencoe/McGraw-hill tech emailed me
"The overall situation resides when using OSX and PDF files within an internet browser. This issue is not limited to Glencoe’s Online Student Editions; it is a known issue with MAC internet browsers viewing PDF files within the browser window.

I tried this, and using Firefox, and using Safari in rosetta, and talking to Apple tech twice because we have a imac warranty (hoped for help but suggested only to use Firefox). Also , I thought I read somewhere in post that I can't find again, that 'websites not upgraded to universal binary is the problem' - my paraphrasing !).)

I found a PDF Browser Plug-in in Mac HD> Library> Internet plug-ins; then moved it to trash, and emptied trash.
I closed safari, tried again, and no luck

I think this is a Microsoft/outlook.com issue.

Hi,
Please send emails to different addresses, check if the message will always return.
What is the user's account type? If it's Outlook.com via Exchange ActiveSync, then we should check the service status on
www.live.com. If the there's trouble sending from Web as well, it should be somthing related to the recipient's side, contact them via a possible portal and let them know that they seem to have rejected your emails.

Access Denied when saving file - CS5 & Win7

Using Dreamweaver CS5 and Win7... Sporatically, I will try to save my .html file and will get an error saying "access denied" to the .tmp file. So I do a "Save As" to another file name and then the original file literally disappears (is deleted / erased) from my hard drive. No where to be found!
Has anyone else had this experience? Is there a work around?

Here's the solution (as I learned from other forum posts):
- Disable the Preview Pane in Windows 7...
or
- Simply "deselect" the file in Windows Explorer (thus deactivating the "Preview" of the file) and try to save it again. The "Save As" dialog will appear and you can save it with the same name.
What is actually happening:
When a file is selected in Windows Explorer and the Preview Pane is enabled, Windows 7 displays the file (and locks it). If the file is also open in Dreamweaver and any modifications are made, the file is considered a temp (.tmp) file by Windows as it is already in use by the Preview Pane (and locked). When you try to save the modified file in Dreamweaver, you get the "Access Denied" error. If you go into Windows Explorer and deselect the file, the file will disappear (be deleted / removed) as Windows now considers it a "temp" file that is no longer being previewed. At this time (assuming you didn't close the file in Dreamweaver) you can try to save it again and a "Save As" dialog will open (since the original file was deleted).

Access Denied message in DW when saving changes to a file

I am having issues with saving changes to a previous file in DW CS5. My files are located on an external drive, always have been. I am using a new pc (WIN 7) and the drive is connected. I can open the files and change them just fine but I can not save them. I get ACCESS DENIED. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening and how I can get back to saving my changes?

Well I feel kind of silly but I figured it out. It was basically a matter of organization. I went into SITE and then MANAGE SITES and then REMOVED the folder and then ADDED it again. Works fine now. Before, the reason I had the issue, was becuase I was skipping the "MANAGE SITE" step and just accessing my files from the FILES tab under WINDOWS. Although this method allowed me to open files and change them, it would not allow me to save the changes. HOPE THIS HELPS someone else some day.

Check this Settings>Safari>Accept Cookies>From visited. Make sure that it checked.
If it is and you still can't access the site - clear Safari.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Access denied message

I am running an swf file that is loaded into an lms. To test this I am using Captivate 5...I have 2 slides...the movie goes through the 2 slides and then gets an access denied on the following:

I also get this using the following variables:

mycpGetValue
cpEIXMLGetValue
cpEIGetValue
cpEISetValue
It runs if I open this swf file up in any of the browsers. Any hints as to how to fix this? I have the appropriate files in flash player security settings.

I do have both apple sharing and the smb check marked....should I have ftp check marked? probably not....it seems the issue is in the access denied and not sure why access is denied.
