Access Devices

Hi
Does anyone know whether we can check or request to check what devices have accessed Skype?
Thanks

Hi, Claireann28, and welcome to the Community,
In this FAQ article,
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10042/what-are-chat-commands-and-roles?frompage=search&q=chat+com...
please see this:
/showplaces                 Lists other instances where this Skype name is currently signed in.
I am not aware of any feature which would show devices where Skype was signed on in the past.

Elaine

  • Radius server not returning Filter-id information to access device

    I have set up a Radius server (v. 4.15 16 april 2003) on NW65sp2 server
and I'm trying to use it to authenticate to a Watchguard Firebox II
firewall. The authentication functions but apparently the firewall is
not getting (or not parsing) the Filter-Id information to assign access
rights via groups. When I login to the firewall with "user1", the
response is "Authenticationsucceeded, but no access grantedfor user". If
I define "user1" on the firewall and assign it to an access policy, then
everything works. But if I define an access group "group1" and assign
it to an access policy on the firewall and then assign "group1" to the
eDir Access Profile object that is assigned to "user1", (Filter-Id =
group1) I get the above authentication succesful, but no access granted.
Is there a way to identify exactly what information is being sent from
the Radius server to the access device so I can determine if the problem
is on the Novell Radius server side or the Watchguard Firewall side?
I've activated the Radius Debug Log, but that only tells me that it
finds all the relevant objects in eDirectory and that authentication is
successfull, but there is no indication that any other information is
being sent to the access device.
As I understand it, the filer-id's are supposed to allow a link between
the eDir user objects and what access rights are allowed on the access
device (firewall). Essentially this is how I define group memberships on
the firewall using eDir user. Is this assumption correct?
The goal of course is to allow access over the firewall without having
to type in 500 user names on the firewall.
Any ideas or tips on what I could check or configure differently would
    be helpful. thanks

  • Error accessing device data in netweaver."Unable to read data;can't connect

    Hi Friends,
We have implemented MAM in one of our client here in India. Its around 7 months the project been gone live.
From last few weeks we are facing problem accessing Device in Netweaver.
We prepared a patch to be applied to devices but on searching by providing mobile device name ie. eg. MOBILE_000011 it gives an error which says "Unable to read data; cannot connect to middleware".
It searches the device successfully but but doesnt display its device details, components etc.
I checked in MI server for short dumps TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED.
All the measures have been taken to remove this dump. But problem still persist.
Please suggest to identify the problem.
    Thanks, Amit Sharma

I need help! I am in hurry.

    Hi,
    Sorry for my delay.
Based on your description, I’m a little confused with your issue. Would you please let me know more details
of this issue? Thanks for your understanding.
Would you please let me know OS edition information of this problematic server? Did you logon the server via
an administrator account? Meanwhile, would you please let me know the complete error message when access Device Manager, MMC or other .exe files?
For CMD, please open Task Manager, click File and select
Run new task. Then type CMD and select Create this task with administrative privileges option in
Create new task wizard. Will you still encounter issue?
By the way, I type above links which you provided in IE. However, I can only find
Page Not Found error. You can upload screenshots to
OneDrive and then post link here. (Please hide all protected or private information)
If any update, please feel free to let me know.
    Hope this helps.

  • Switch Executive with SCXI "an error occurred while attempting to access device"

I get "an error occurred while attempting to access device" when trying to validate or use the test panel for my current configuration:
    PXI-1010 (PXI/SCXI combo chassis)
PXI-4060 in the PXI rightmost slot
SCXI-1129 in slot 1 of the SCXI portion
Clean install of all NI software (2012 DS1 developer suite) and a reset of MAX configuration data after not getting this resolved previously.
Because the SCXI-1129 is being controlled by the 4060 (legacy), I can't use DAQmx in NISE 3.5. So I'm stuck with IVI. I've configured everything in IVI so that I can at least add my device (SCXI_1129) into a new NISE virtual device. But when I go to validate or make a connection in the test panel within NISE, I get the above error.
    Am I configuring something incorrectly?

    Frank,
Thanks for continuing to look at this issue. Here are my responses to your questions.
    1) You get an error when your driver setup string in in the General tab of your Driver Sessions is "1129/2-Wire Quad 4x16 Matrix"? Are you using a
PXI-4060 in the right-most slot of a combo chassis. If you're using a DAQmx device, it's a whole different ball game. If you're not using a PXI-1010
combo chassis, it's a different story too.
    2) I can't seem to find a way to cleanly export my IVI configuration files. Even the VI you wrote (Programmatically Export All Virtual Devices & IVI
Configurations for NI Switch Executive) didn't copy the IviConfigurationStore files. So I manually copied them over and attached them. When I create
my driver session, I type 3 things: the topology ("1129/2-Wire Quad 4x16 Matrix") in the driver setup string, "SCXI-1129" and "SCXI1::1" in the
hardware tab (It would be "SCXI0::1" if the dip switches on the PXI-1010 were set to address 0, which is the default), and niSwitch in the software
    tab for the software module.
    3) The error I'm getting is the name of the post. "An error occurred while attempting to access device". It get this when validating my NISE virtual
device when simulation is not checked. It's also peachy-keen for me when I simulate.
    4) See the screenshot.
    5) Production line down is par for the course for this lab due to how many people have messed with this station in an effort to bandage it over the
years to keep product flowing. Long story, but there has one problem after another on this machine for a while with no owner. I'm now responsible for the automated tests on it. I'm adding new devices because I'm essentially starting from scratch so I know what's going on and can trust it. But apparently I'm either getting the same error they had before or it's a new one. I suspect it's the same one but it "used to work". I had another coworking here yesterday and he opened a phone SR, gave the information, and was told they'd get back to him. I haven't heard anything yet.

  • Is it possible to access device settings with MIDP2.0?

Assuming that the MIDlet has access to all the domains, in MIDP2.0 security model, can it access device settings? For example, can the application turn the device to "MUTE"?

Assuming that the MIDlet has access to all the

So no, you cannot do that!

  • Deskjet3915 cannot access device service

I just downloaded the new software and driver for the deskjet3915.  Everything appeared to run normally.  I cannot access device services.  I get an error "The application could not be started.  Try reinstalling this printer driver.  I redownloaded the driver and reran it.  Still get the same error.  I am running Windows XP with all microsoft updates.  Does anyone have a possible fix?

the Curve does not allow you to access to the Device Memory using Windows Explorer and "USB Mass Storage" Mode. You can only access the memory card (aka Media Memory).
to access the Device Memory, you have to use the Media Manager. You need to download the "Desktop Manager + Media Manager" for that.

  • Accessing Device Property Files

How Can I access Device Property Files .
Depending on the available screen size, I want to display 1 or more images in a J2ME application.
This is required because a user can select a different device just before running the application/ can execute the J2ME application on different devices with different width and height.
    Many thanks.

    Displayable provide the methods
    1.getHeight()
    2.getWidth()
so assuming that you had a class that implements any displayable(canvas, screen or whatever) u can just fetch the screenwidth and screenheight of the phone,no need to access device property file which i think u cannot(plz confirn it with other developers tooo)

  • Accessing device registers and microcontroller registers using java

We are writing an application that needs to work with any kind of microcontroller(more specifically targetted towards 8051 and 80188/86 microcontrollers) in a constrained memory environment with code/data not
more than 128 KB or at the most 256 KB.
We would look at using the JVM in hardware rather than software as an accelerator chip on our boards..
However I wanted to know whether there is a way wherein I can accomplish the above platform independence for microcontroller and still access low level registers for the memory mapped I/O devices using Java..
If anybody knows about this please let me know at
    [email protected]

Not in pure Java, although you can do that in JNI. But if this is the main purpose of your program, you might as well use C++ or some more low-level language.

    Hi ScarletKnight,
I gather from your question that the Sidebar is missing in your iTunes application.  Your device will be listed in the Sidebar. If you have iTunes '11 (click on iTunes > About iTunes), the article below will explain how to show that section of the iTunes window:
    iTunes 11: Frequently used features
Show or hide the Status Bar and Sidebar
In iTunes 11 you have the option to turn the Sidebar and the Status Bar on or off; they are off by default. To do this in the menus, go to:
Show Sidebar - Choose View > Show Sidebar (this feature will display iTunes features on the left side of the application including Library, Store, Shared, Genius, and Playlists).
I hope this information helps ...

Just make sure to assign a fix IP address to the cameras. You can use the DHCP reservation feature of the router to assign these cameras a specific IP. This is working with the old router? Right?

  • Cannot access Device memory in Windows explorer

When I plugged my blackberry into my XP PC, I used to see the device memory and SD card in Windows Explorer.  Now, only the SD card is in explorer.

  • Unable to access device memory

    Hello there,
I'm having trouble trying to access the device memory.
It's half full, but I haven't any files! I've tried a factory reset and a security wipe, but it still says that I've used up half the memory.
When I try and update my phones software, it tells me to "consider deleting or moving files". But there aren't any left to move!
I can't seem to access to device memory to see what these files are, when I check my memory usage it just says that there's 2.07gb of system files.

I have also re-installed the Windows XP. still nothing.
If you have restored the hard drive to its original factory-new condition using the Toshiba recovery discs, then that means you have a hardware malfunction.
You can purchase a card reader that plugs into a USB port.

  • Accessing devices through .desktop files

Hi. I'm quite a new Arch user, and I miss some kind of a center place where all icons for device access are located, like Window's My Computer. I thought I'd make one for me
But I cannot access a device when it's not mounted. I can create a .desktop file pointing to /dev/dvd for example, but it only works when DVD has been selected in the "Recently plugged devices" plasmoid or opened in Dolphin. Before that, it is not mounted, and therefore, I can't access it. So what I'd like is the ability to automount DVDs/CDs/pendrives/memory cards as soon as they are plugged in, not when a program tries to access them. I tried to tinker with /etc/fstab a little, but as it turns out, my pendrive doesn't always use the form of the same file in /dev/ it can be /dev/sdf, /dev/sdg...
Is there an easy way to do this? I don't only mean pendrive, but a set of .desktop files which will point me to all periherals. (I've got a card reader with 4 slots, so it would be geart to have 4 .desktop files for the cards only)

The confusion of Mac OS 9 versus Mac OS X desktops is understandable. The logical path as it is called of both are different. Mac OS X, being a multi user system has its own Desktop folder for each user. What you see on the Desktop in Mac OS X, is under:
Hard drive -> Users -> logged in name -> Desktop
What you see on the desktop in Mac OS 9 if no multiple users is set, is in:
    Hard drive -> Desktop Folder.
In earlier versions of Mac OS X, you had an alias to Desktop Mac OS 9 in your Home folder which pointed to Hard drive -> Desktop Folder.
You can still access it by using the Finder's Go menu -> Go to folder and select the path:
    /Desktop Folder/
That will access the boot drive's Desktop folder.
If you have another Desktop folder you wish to access, go to
    /Volumes/name of volume/Desktop Folder/
By default Mac OS 9 does not have multiple users set, and ties Desktop folders to the volumes that have them, and not a User folder.
