Access  error

When I attempt to convert a PDF file to Word using Export PDF, I receive an error message "An error occurred while trying to access the service".  No other words or hints as to the cause are offered.  My subscription to Export PDF is current and there have been no software or hardware changes made to my computer.  All help appreciated.

Thanks for the response, I am using a desktop running XP, version 2002, service pack 3 with Google Chrome version 38.0.2125.111m.
Since I posted the error report I have run Adobe Export PDF on my laptop, which is a Windows 7 device with Google Chrome, everything works as expected.  I do not normally use this laptop to run Export PDF.
So it seems my desktop is singling out Adobe for special treatment.  As far as I can tell, everything else on my desktop is working correctly.
I have tried, unsuccessfully, to convert a number of files using my desktop including files converted successfully in the past and I have reloaded Google Chrome, all without any improvement.

    This is generally a Lion error.. and you will need 5.6 utility to get access to the disk area.
    So download the real utility. Run it instead of v6 toy version.

    Go to the manual setup, disk page and click on disconnect all users.. that will unmount all users connected to the disk and allow it to start working. But there are a number of other issues that are possible cause. Pondini lists some of them.

    Hello Experts,
    I have been getting the error when i run the script in script editor of fdqm workbench client.this is the error
                              -2147467259 Data access error and it is navigating the error at line 30 about this script "Set rsAppend = DW.DataAccess.farsTable(strWorkTableName)"

    Thanks for your suggestion's here i am going to run the datapump script so while i am running in workbench it is throwing data access error.So as you guy's suggested i created one import format and added this script to that import format which is added to one of my location even it is throwing the same error.I am getting the error at this sentence   "strWorkTableName" I want to know what is this where it reflect's?So my question is Is there any difference while running data pump or integration script.Please let me know a detailed navigation steps to run this script's with out data access error to run these kind of scripts.
    Note:Again my target is to load the data to planning database through fdqm which i am doing through sql statement's.

  • 'Data Access Error' while trying to delete period using Table Editor in FDM

    Hi,
    I'm trying to delete a period that has been entered wrongly using Tools->Table Editor option.
    But when I try to 'Update Grid' after deleting the Period,I get 'Data Access Error'.
    Could any one let me know how to solve the error.

    There is no data that is entered in that period.The data will be entered for that period next month.
    POV is also not set to that period,but still the problem persists.

    - Class1 tries to call method on Class2.
    - Method has package visibility
    - Both classes are in same package.
    - Class1 is being invoked by a class in a Web Application which is
    in a completely different package. Class1 gets invoked properly
    and then instantiates Class2. It then tries to call the method on
    Class2.
    - Compiler is compiling successfully i.e. no compile time errors
    Any clues?
    Env:
    JDK 1.4.2_01
    App Server Tomcat 4.0.6

    AashishThe problem is the Class1 and Class2 are being loaded by different classloaders. Because of this, they are considered to be in different packages by the VM, and hence the IllegalAccessError.
    To correct this, make sure both classes are only available in a single classloader context. So if these classes are only used by the WebApp, include them in a jar in WEB-INF/lib or WEB-INF/classes..
    If yyou need access to these across multiple webapps, or by some other non-webapp classes, place them in the /common/lib directory for Tomcat.
    Whatever you do, MAKE SURE THEY AREN'T avaialble in BOTH! Which is what appears to be the problem now.

    I am building a large application in LabVIEW 2013. I use a Web Service Server in LabVIEW to communicate to other systems. All in all the new Web Service functions in LV2013 work pretty fine and Web Services are easy to implement. In case any Web Service is unknown or parameters (in the URL) are wrong, it returnsto the client a default error message (like: "Access Error: 404 -- Not Found" or "Access Error: 400 -- Bad Request"). Is there a possibility to change this default messages and its format (all answers in my application are in JSON, but errors appear in HTML)? I really need this feature.
    I spent a lot of time in the internet for finding an answer - but it seems that I am the first who need this feature. Thank you very much for any ideas.

    I found a workaround: I added some additional resources using a link "http://localhost:8079/"NAME"/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x​/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x/:x" for each type (PUT, GET, POST, DELETE) where I handle the error message with the "Set HTTP Response Code VI"

    Time Machine could not complete the back up.  The backup disk image "Volumes/Data/bhoppy2's iMac.sparsebundle" could not be accessed (error-1).  When I click on the 'help' icon on the message, it reverts to a blank page, and I cannot find anything online regarding the term 'sparsebundle.'  In addition, I cannot access previous backups any longer.

    I checked the pondini fixes and ended up doing the following - in case this could help someone else with OSX Lion and Time Capsule... http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html
    First, I downloaded and used Airport Utility 5.6 instead of 6.1 - BTW, I had to attempt download and installation THREE times before the program actually installed.  Be persistant.
    Pondini #5: It's possible some names (of all things!) may be a problem.    See item C9.  I had to re-name my Mac, Time Capsule, network, etc... to remove all apostrophes and spaces.
    Pondini #7:  If you have WD SmartWare installed on Lion, it's not compatible, per RoaringApps, and there are reports it can cause this problem as well.   Use Western Digital's uninstaller, or delete the app from /Applications and the files com.wdc.WDDMservice.plist and com.wdc.WDSmartWareServer.plist from /Library/LaunchDaemons.   There may also be a file in Library/Application Support.
    I then had to shut down computer, unplug Time Capsule, unplug modem; plug everything in again, then reboot computer; then had to go to Apple- System Preferences- Network- and reselect my Time Capsule to connect to WiFi again.
    Then opened Time Machine preferences again and attempted back up - it worked!

  • 0187 EAIA Data access error Lenovo Twist

    When the error happend the systemboard was replaced (0187 EAIA Data access error on startup), and the error came back up again.  Replaced the systemboard again and the error persists.  Can't update eprom serial information because of this error.  I currently have about 6 machines doing the same thing, and was wondering if anyone else had experianced this issue?

    I get the same error on a brand new Lenovo Thinkpad S540 (+-1 month old). Besides that first issue I'm also getting these errors:
    2200: Machine Type and Serial Number are invalid
    2201: Machine UUID is invalid
    These occur together and only in about one out of every ten boots.
    Curious what's wrong here.

  • Fast User Switching-- Disk Access Error

    I have created a Standard User Account with no Parental Controls. I have not had any problems whatsoever logging in to iVisit (video conferencing) as an Admin, but when I log into the Standard account, and try to log into iVisit (using the same log in information as my Admin account, and this is what iVisit suggests I can do) I get the following error message when I click the log in button:
    Disk access error. Check free space and write permissions.
    I've tried logging out of my Admin account first, then logging into the Standard account before I try iVisit, but that didn't work. I've opened up the Standard account as much as possible (I think) to remove any restrictions, and even selected the option to allow user to administer this computer, but that didn't work either.
    Another piece to this puzzle, is that iVisit Help suggested that I install iVisit under the Standard User, just to be safe. But during the install process, the installer quits, and I get an error message that says it can't continue.
    Does anybody know what's going on? I really appreciate any help! Thanks

    I don't know anything about iVisit, but it sounds like it may not be behaving exactly as an OS X installer should — placing files in spots that only admins can access. I would try this as a next step:
    1. Uninstall iVisit.
    2. Make your standard account an admin.
    3. Try and install iVisit through the newly admin'd standard account. Hopefully this avoids the error/crash.
    4. Confirm that iVisit works through this account.
    5. Switch it back to a standard account and test again.
    I don't know if this will fix your problem, but it's worth a shot and may help narrow down the cause of the problem.

    What is the exact, complete text of the error message, and when do you see it?
