access is denied while creation hfm classic application in workspace. i have given full roles and access to my admin user. still i am facing same issue.

Do you have the HFM ADM drivers installed on the workspace server -- I believe if you do not have those installed then you are going to have some issues.

Note: the user is fully provisioned for all HFM applications, however, they do not show up in Calc Mgr.
There was a known issue in 11.1.2.1 where a patch fixed this issue, however, this is 11.1.2.2 and I see no applicable patch.

Yes the issue in 11.1.2.1 should be fixed in 11.1.2.2
The 11.1.2.2 Readme has it in the list of defects fixed:
12421352 - You cannot select Financial Management Classic applications from Oracle Hyperion Calculation Manager.
It may be worth logging with Oracle is you believe the configuration is correct.

Error 5: Access is Denied While using OSCDIMG to create Winpe x86 ISO with Deployment Tools Command Prompt

Technician computer is Windows 7 HP x64.
Running latest version of WAIK.
Goal: To make a Winpe disc for each processor architecture (AMD64, x86, IA64) with an included Gimage.exe using this code for the default startnet.cmd file found in system32 directory of winpe boot.wim

**It is at this point I copy over my x86 folder, x64 folder, and overwrite the startnet.cmd file.

^^It is at this command I receive this error:
ERROR: Could not delete existing file "c:\pe\x86\iso"
Error 5: Access is denied.
Please note that all commands before were hand-typed, no copy or pasting from any directory or .chm
One thread referred to some Application Management service, but I can report that there is no such service installed in my machine.

UPDATE:
I copied the winpe.wim file from the x86 root directory into the iso directory and renamed it to boot.wim Now, if I copy the contents to a flash drive and put it into a client
computer, it boots to the PE perfectly, script and all.
However, when trying to use the oscdimg command, I do get an .iso successfully, but when I burn it, I don't know what to do in the way of boot options, and if I keep defaults (imgburn)
it results in an un-bootable dvd.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

OMG! Yes, you are correct ... but I have no idea why! I retyped the command line:
oscdimg -n -be:\winpe_amd64\etfsboot.com e:\winpe_amd64\ISO e:\winpe_amd64\winpe_amd64.iso
into Notepad, and then pasted it into the Command Prompt, and it worked!
Perhaps there must be some hidden characters included when pasting directly, even though I first pasted the command line into Notepad, and then into Command Prompt
(C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools>).
I had to retype the command line in Notepad before copying and pasting, before it would work.

We have deployed deployed the WebCenterPortal application into the server, and it is working fine if we access it through the deployed server url, but,
we have a http server(Oracle HTTP Server)to protect the deployed applications url, here when iam trying to access the same deployed url using http server url, it is working fine for all the pages but not for some pages , it showing the below error,

We are able to access all the pages but some pages its throwing the java script error mentioned above, we have not included any javascript code inside the pages, that core-11.1.1.6.0-1318.js could be a framework javascript file,

But at the time of creation when we select the base currency, the user wants it tobe SAR. though it doesnt effect even if we select USD, the user wants it to be SAR. I there any way where we can add the currency in the backend tables so that it gets displayed in the drop down when we create the classic applcn

Access is denied while saving

When saving a project on a network drive with encore cs5.1 (tried both with and without "run as administrator") I get the following error:
Could not create "ProjectMedia.acx"
Access was denied.
I cant see if anything went wrong, but the save completes and it seams to work. This error doesn't appear the first time I save when creating a project, but every time after. I have tried new and old projects even projects saved in cs3 and on sveral different network disks.
Im using Win 7 Pro with a Intel core i7 930, 12GB ram and a NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800. The network disks is one opensolaris computer, one linux computer and one windows xp.
Why is this accuring and is there a way to remove the error?
What is saved in the file ProjectMedia.acx and what happens if this file is not saved?

I am trying to install SAP ECC 5 IDES version from windows server 2003 OS, the central instance installation is giving error "Access is Denied" While reading mount information for C:\.
While my windows server 2003 is installed on drive D. I am having windows Vista on Drive C:\ which is preloaded while buying laptop.
I am logged in as Built-In Administrator user id.

I bought my machine with Vista preloaded. I installed Windows 2003 on it. - using a fresh 2003 Enterprise Server Windows 2003 disk.
Now, While installing the SAP R/3 4.7x, I am getting the same error. Do you all think that I should add the permissions to SAP id's and then try. I am doing all the work as the system administrator. I also gave full permissions to all the drives. But one thing I did not do is to create partitions.
I have C: Drive and H Drive.
I installed my Windows 2003 on H drive and I now want to install SAP on the C drive. Would that be a problem.
Here are my details:
Machine: 2003 Enterprise
RAM: 5 GB ( Yes, It is 5 )
Hard Drive: SATA RAID Intel
Partitions: C: ( 220GB) and H: 10GB
Database: Oracle 9.2.1 with patches
SAP: 4.7x

Loading Metadata to HFM Classic from FDM

Can anyone please explain is there any possibility to load Metadata (Members) in HFM Classic Application using FDM.
If so please explain in detailed.

FDM is not designed to load metadata but data. It can be done but would involve a fair bit of custom code (including a wrapper dll) as the metadata load functionality is not exposed by the HFM web SDK. I'd look at alternative method for doing this and stick to loading data via FDM.

Unspecified error while opening Hfm application

The UDL file containing connection details to HFM repository database has been renamed or moved.
HFM is unable to communicate to the database as it cannot find the UDL file referenced in the Windows registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\

Last night when i tried to sign a document i received the mesage below and after that it says this document can't be signed what can i do to fix this problem.

I have contacted their program lead, with no result at all.
Past days I have been searching for a solution - reinstalls / new systems - no solution.
This issue appeared a week or two ago only.
I found http://forums.adobe.com/message/5338853 useful - but no positive results either.
http://test.eid.belgium.be/faq/faq_nl.htm obviously didnt help either.
If anyone finds a solution to this issue, please do let me know - any help is appreciated.
Biztax tells to use the "signature", not the "authentication" - but it is only Auth. that is showing up as option to sign (that works)
ps, did you fiddle with the Adobe Reader XI security settings and import that PKI etc as well? I hoped that would be the breaktrough. Sadly i'm still crying in my chair.

Access is denied error when launching HFM based Financial Reports

When attempting to run Financial Reports where the data source is an HFM application, users sometimes get the following error(s):
Access is denied
<BR>Access is denied
Sometimes the error is more detailed:
1001:datasourcename=HOLX;errorMsg=Access is Denied. <BR>Access is denied. (The more detailed error is followed by references to POV members display names and member names, etc.)
The error is intermittent and cannot be easily reproduced. Sometimes users get it for hours at a time, other times they can log out and log back in and run the report fine. The users are running the reports via Workspace.
We are running the following versions, and Web Logic is our application server.
HFM Server: 9.3.1.3
Workspace: 9.3.1.0
Financial Reports: 9.3.1.0
I did increased the JVM heap size allocation on the Reports server from:
-Xms512m
-Xmx1024m
to
-Xms768m
-Xmx1280m
That setting change appears to have made the issue not appear as frequently, but it is still occurring. I may have bandwidth to increase the heap size limits to 1024 and 1536.
Any advice and / or help would be appreciated! The fact that I cannot easily reproduce the error and the lack of references to it in the application logs are making it very frustrating!

We had gotten this exact same error with some users getting it, some not getting it, and other users getting it sometimes.
We were told it happened when a certain number of users are in HFM reports at the same time.
To fix it you need to do the following on the HFM production servers (Foundation/Core Servers, Application Servers, and Web Servers)
Apply registry changes to prod servers:
On the server click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Rpc
Click the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type Server2003NegotiateDisable as the name of the new DWORD Value
Right-click Server2003NegotiateDisable, and then click Modify.
In the Value Data box, type 1, and then click OK.

Config file access denied while Jheadstart UIX apps migration to 10.1.3.2

I am migrating UIX application from 10.1.2.0 to 10.1.3.2.0 .When I am running Jheadstart generator on view components ,It throws me following error,
