Access orther http ports with safari on iPad

How can i access pages with other http ports. Ex sistemas2.macae.rj.gov.br:82
Thanks

sistemas2.macae.rj.gov.br:82
That should work.  I confirmed it on my server using http on port 84.
Are you sure that the server is working and you have access?  When I tried the example you gave, I get access denied.

  • Access to HTTPS port failed

    Hi
Access to Https port failed after changing the Keystore to "Custom Identity and Trust". I have generated the identity and trust certificates and placed the path info with passphrase.
I have also set my SSL private key alias name to the key name generated during private key.
    But still it doesn't work.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,

I can use safari on MAC to discover bonjour service on network, but how can i do that with safari on IPAD?
    Thanks a lot.

unfortunately, You cannot get bonjour on ipad. But however, you can get a program on the mac (assuming you have a mac) called printopia (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/printopia/) which will turn your printer in to AirPrint when the mac is on. it works very well all the instructions are on the website

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

What's going on with safari on ipad and iphone not connecting?

I am using safari on my iPad to respond here. What problems are you having? Do you have a good wifi connection? Try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go.

Since the apps you mentioned require an internet connection try running the connectivity tests >  iTunes for Windows: Network Connectivity Tests

  • Can I access Apple Pay information with Safari on my iPhone?

I am trying to order something online but forgot my Credit Card. I have an app that is going through maintenance and it redirects me to the mobile website. I go to make my order and come to the payment screen. Is there a way to access my Apple Pay through Safari to enter in my payment information?

    Try Firefox >  Download Firefox
On your Mac, make sure your OS X is up to date.
Click Software Update from your Apple  drop down menu, or go to the App Store, select Updates from the menu top of that window.

  • Weird issue with safari on iPad mini?

I just had a weird issue with my safari web page, it stopped responding to my scrolling. I then tried coming out of it and going bad in again a couple of times, which still did not work. It then started jiggling around all over the place (jiggling is the only word I can use to describe it), it was as if you had clicked and held the page with a mouse and then started moving the page all over the place, or even like an earthquake on the page. The tab then closed. Can anyone explain this? Thanks.

Quit Safari then reset your iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • Can't access some web sites with safari

Can't access financial web site since time before last of safari update. Any help?

In my original post, not today's, I had said I was having the issues on the Mini, running OSX 10.6.8 and Safari v.5.1.5 for my bank's pill pay. I should have been more specific as to which machine and OSX Safari browser I'm having the T-Mobile problem with. My mistake.
It is on both the MacMini and now the Air too. A moment ago, I was able to log in to my.t-mobile.com on the Air, but after putting into my Bookmarks folder, I can't do it anymore. The Log in button comes up greyed out instead of green.
I'm also still having trouble with my bank's bill pay section on both computers too.
I wonder if it's related to the saving of the log in info or putting in the Bookmark Folder?

  • Open docx and xlsx on url:s with safari on iPad.

    hi,
I can open these files when they are attached in a e-mail. If I get an e-mail with a url to the same file, Safari can not open it. With old office format, xls and doc it is working, but not with the new format, xlsx and pptx for example. If I install an app who can open these files I can tap the file and choose open with and open it with the installed app. If i get an e-mail with url which is pointing to an pdf there is no problem.
My question is, is there a way to get Safari to open the files office files?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance:-)

Excel, file association is ok. Even tried with Incredimail free. everything works ok there, butt I like Thunderbird better so I would like to solve this problem. The weirdest thing is that this problem is on a laptop which I installed from a disk immage. It is one of five exactly the same laptops, and all installed from same immage, and only this one has a problem with it,other 4 are ok.
Let me give you a little more info:
    Laptop is Acer Aspire E1-522
    OS is win 7 pro
    Office 2010 pro
Installation of all suplemental programs and Thunderbird I installed from ninite.com
I've tried everything you listed. Even tried to swich disks between 2 laptops, to rule out any hardware problem of some sort.
As I mentioned before I tried installing Incredimail free just for the test, everything works in it. File association is ok every file is opened with its program when on desktop or other place.
Why is this a problem with those files I dont know. Other files .xls and .doc and .pdf work just fine. If there was an option to manually add file extentions in Tools > Options > Attachments it would solve the problem. I'm all out of options. If you can think of something let me now.
Thanks for all your help and your time.
Sorry on grammar mistakes ect... english is not my native language.
    Best regards
    Janke

  • Btyahoo homepage not loading with Safari on iPad

Safari will not load my Bt Yahoo homepage, all other web page load ok.

On further investigation it seems that BT is changing servers this month (October 2013) from Yahoo to BT's own. This means that the BT/Yahoo page will dissapear altogether. The BT help desk does not give you this information. all they tell you that it is either a fault on the iPad or Safari. The BTYahoo home page is loading OK on the iMac at the moment but I suppose we will be loosing that soon.

    Help
    Thanks
    Dan

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

  • No access with safari to some webpages

    Hello
I use an iPad with iOS 8.1 for two weeks.
Since some days there is very bad access to some webpages with Safari.
I have checked in on webpages.
Later when I go to the same webpages I must store my access again.
    It's very bad.
At the begin of using the iPad there was no problem.
    What can be the reason?
Or what must I check on iPad?
    Jochen

    Thanks for feedback.
    I don't have upgrade to iOS8.1
I bought a fresh new iPad 2 weeks ago.
    First it was OK.
    Now it's not OK.
I have reboot iPad yesterday because there was a problem with quick scrolling.
After reboot this problem was gone.
After reboot the bad access in Safari was the the same as before.

  • Problems with Safari

I cannot access any secure site with Safari. I get an error message
on each one similar to this :Safari can’t open the page
    “https://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/login.psp?mcSt…OrigUrl%3Dhtt
    p%253A%252F%252Fmy.netscape.com&authLev=0” because it couldn’t
establish a secure connection to the server “my.screenname.aol.com”.
I have installed the recent updates to Safari, Java, and itunes. The problem started sometime after these updates. I had to use Exporer to log in to this site.
    HELP!!
[ Edited by Apple Discussions Moderator; wrap long lines ]

    Hi,
Can you both check System Preferences -> Network -> (Your connection type) -> Proxies and see if you have any of the proxy servers checked. If you do, unselect them and give things another try.
If that has no affect, one quick test you can do to help narrow down things is browse to that address with Safari in another user account. This will help us to know whether your problem is local to your account or system wide. If you don't have another account you can use System Preferences -> Accounts -> [+] to create a test one (and [-] to remove it if needed)
Let us know how things go.
