Access restriction based on Sales Units / Sales Area

Hi all,
I am looking into the access restriction functionality on business roles.
One of our customers has a requirement to separate data between their different sales organisations. One sales organisation should not see customers, opportunities of the other sales organisation and vice versa.
In the access restriction I see that the access context defines on which elements you can set the access restriction.
For customers and opportunities the possibilities are: Employee or Territory.
Setting the access restriction on Employees is not a solid solution for me (when the employees are changed in the org model, the access restriction is influenced on several business roles..)
So what if we do not use territory management / if the territory management setup differs from the actual sales areas / sales units?
So my main questions are: can we set access restriction based on Sales Units? (we will setup integration with SAP ERP which means we cannot enter sales areas for prospects...). And can we influence the access context or do we need developments for that?
Kind regards,
Jasper

We plan to enhance the access restrictions based on sales organization and distribution channel in a future release.
If you setup territory management, we offer sales office and sales group including sales organization as attributes to define a territory if you are connected with SAP ERP.

  • Access restriction based on SSID

    Hello,
I am interesting in a solution for access restriction based on SSID. I use RADIUS and ACS. Is there any solution to do limitation based on SSID? I use AP1200 series...
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi,
I am attempting this same result: SSID restriction based on group membership.
When I re-configure the NAS client as Cisco IOS/PIX 6.x in order to rely on the cisco-av-pair field, this works great to limit the user to only the specified SSIDs, however the Access Point is no longer able to austhenticate to WDS since it uses LEAP authentication to the same RADIUS server - the Cisco IOS/Pix 6.x option does not support LEAP...
Is there any way to change WDS authentication from LEAP to EAP-FAST for example? Or can we implement cisco-av-pair under Cisco Aironet for this?
    Thanks,

  • ICSS - Sales Unit Determination in Service Request

    Hi Experts,
I want to know how the Sales Unit determination takes place in Service Request creation through ICSS, say if there are multiple Sales Units (Sales Org, Dist Chnl, Div) combinations present for a BP will ICSS also popup a windows asking for the desired combination as CRM Online or not? If there is no pop-up then which Sales Unit combination would ICSS pick?
    Hope you got my question.
    Many Thanks in Advance.

    Hi...
Apologies for the delayed response. In ICSS, the first set of the determined Sales Unit is considered & is taken as a part of the Transaction.
    Hope that helps.

  • WRT54GS Access Restriction for WiFi Connected Devices

I have the WRT54GS v4 running with the latest Firmware Version: v1.06.3 -- I am attempting to add Access Restrictions for a few MAC addresses and IP addresses (my kids iPod Touch and laptop).
I am simply wanting to deny total internet access from 9pm to 7am.   I have gotten it to work but ONLY for computers that are actually plugged into the router (cat 5 internet cables).  All the computers/devices that connect to the router via wifi do not seem to be restricted at all.   I am thinking this is an issue with the router in that it ONLY seems to apply the Access Restriction rules to those devices that are actually directly connected by hardwire.
Has any one else noticed this issue for WiFi connected devices?  Access Restrictions do not seem to apply to WiFi connected devices.
Please help -- I would hate to have to buy another router.

  • CRM: PFCG Roles restricted based on Sales Organization

    Hi,
I have a requirement in SAP CRM 7.0 to create roles restricted based on Sales Organization(locations). We have two Sales Organization XXX and YYY, for which users need to be restricted. I have used the following objects for this regard.
    CRM_ORD_OP,  CRM_ORD_LP, CRM_ORD_PR, CRM_ORD_OE,  CRM_BP_SA
Every user has assigned a sales role in which the above objects are deactivated and separate roles with values to the objects, with respective Sales Org values for the objects CRM_ORD_OE,  CRM_BP_SA been provided. I have assigned these roles to respective users (User A with XXX, User B with YYY) based on their sales org locations. These users are positioned in the Organizational Model (PPOMA_CRM) under their respective Sales groups as per the requirement for the object CRM_ORD_LP, and authorization to this object is restricted to A for CHECK_LEV (Your Own Sales Organization). We use * for the objects CRM_ORD_OP and CRM_ORD_PR, as we do not control these.
After restricting all these, we do not find that the result not appearing as we expect, that is, restricting the sales organization data. We need all accounts, all activities, all opportunities, all leads, all campaigns etc. should be restricted by Sales Org, but when we search for accounts, activities, opportunities, leads, campaigns, we get result list with all data without any restrictions. I even checked the following forum, http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1579211, which talks about the same kind of issue, but as I have already using the same objects for the restriction, it didnt help me much. I tried deactivating object CRM_BP_SA as it is not discussed on the forum, also tried CHECK_LEV=A,B,C,D,E for object CRM_ORD_LP, but all results the same.
Additional Info: When tried to create a project, with user A who is authorized for XXX, normally it would pick up the Sales Area Data for the project from the user (meaning User A from the XXX Sales Org.), but I get an error message: Enter a sales org, enter a dist. channel and enter an org unit etc. Even when I search for leads, it displays a list of data, when I click on any, it issues the error message: Enter a sales org, enter a dist. channel and enter an org unit (Sales) etc
Is that we miss any object restriction that is not restricting these objects properly or is it any customization missing? Please advice.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Shahul,
I have a similar requirement as of yours.  I have maintained auth values, in role as below:
    CRM_ORD_LP
    03       ACTVT
    A        CHECK_LEV
    *         PR_TYPE
    CRM_ORD_OE
    03       ACTVT
11       DIS_CHANNE   ( the user is assigned to this dstrbtion channel in org structure)
              SALES_GROU
              SALES_OFFI
    SO1   SALES_ORG
SERVICE_OR   ( the user is assigned to this sales org in org structure)
And, when I try to display the LEADs in CRM UI ...I still get the display of LEADs belonging to all sales orgs.
And my trace record  for CRM_ORD_LP is....
    CHECK_LEV    ' blank '
    PR_TYPE          LEAD
    ACTVT               03
that means, it is not considering the auth value ' A ' for auth field  CHECK_LEV
Could you please let me know ...how you have achieved this restriction . Is there anything , i m missing here?
    Thank You

  • Restricting the order type to sales area!!!

    Hi All,
    I want some clarification!!!!
    Scenario:
    (1)We have two sales areas
    1000,10,00 and 1000,20,00.
(2)We have two order types zor and zare both have same Document priicng procedure 'A"
(3)Now the client wants to restrict the order typr zor to one sales area 1000,10,00.The system should not allow to raise an order with 1000,20,00 with combination of ZOR and A.
(4)As the client has raised a number of orders with 1000,10,00 with the combination of ZOR.now if we change the document pp of zor to X .will it effect any other documents.
    Regards,
    RK

    T.Code: SPRO
IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Document Type --> Assign Sales Area to Sales Document Type.
Here, based on Sales Area, it is possible to restrict the Sales Order Type. This will take care of point number (3).
(4)As the client has raised a number of orders with 1000,10,00 with the combination of ZOR.now if we change the document pp of zor to X .will it effect any other documents.
This will depend on copy control settings.

  • Reporting based on weighted product unit sales

Hello! I was just wondering what the best way of generating reports based on weighted product unit sales? I know that reports can be build based on weighted revenue, but I'm keen to be able to report on product units as well. For instance, if I have three
    opportunities:
Opportunity 1: Has a probability of 25% for 100 units of Product A, closing Month 1
Opportunity 2: Has a probability of 50% for 100 units of Product A, closing Month 2
Opportunity 3: Has a probability of 50% for 100 units of Product B, closing Month 3
Ideally, a quarterly report would show that I have sales of 75 units for Product A ((25%*100)+(50%*100)) and sales of 50 units for Product B (50%*100). I could then drill down the quarter and look at the Monthly sales breakdown.
Not sure if this can be done by using the default fields and some clever Report building, or whether I'd need to create a custom field for each product sale that had an auto-calculated field (OpportunityProbability * Quantity)?
Does that make sense? Any pointers would be massively appreciated! :)

  • Customers, Sales Orders Restrictions based on Sales Office and Sales Groups

    hi all,
We have a typical scenario for one of our customers. They are SAP ERP, ECC 6.0.
They have sales employees/managers assigned to customers. In order to maintain the link between the sales employees and the customers, their earlier implementation partner followed the following method for the linkage.
Each sales employee and each sales managers are given a SAP User ID like 101, 012, 103 etc.. Sales groups OR Sales offices are also maintained with the same numbers/IDs. At the customer master level, each customer's sales group is given the sales employee ID (which is same as that of the sales group). The example is as follows.
Customer No.             Sales Group                 Sales Office
    CU1                              101                             108
    CU2                              101                             108
    CU3                              102                             108
    CU4                              103                             109
    CU5                              104                             110
The sales group names and the sales offices names are given the same names as that of the user IDs of the sales employees/sales managers. In the above example, the sales employee 101 (sales group 101) is assigned to customers CU1, CU2. The sales manager 108 (Sales office 108) is managing the sales employees 101 and 102.
Now the customer has some authorization issues. He wants us to provide authorizatinos in such a way that -
if the sales employee 101 logs on to the system he should be able to Display the CUSTOMERS and the Sales Orders (XD03, VD03, VA03) that are assinged only to him (In other words with the sales group 101) and similarly for other sales employees.
if the sales manager 108 logs on to the system he should be able to display the customers and the sales orders that are assigned to his sales employees (101, 102). In other words with the sales office as the manager's ID 108.
I tried to use the authorization object V_VBKA_VKO but this doesnt see to be serving the purpose as this object is not being checked at all in any of the above VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
Similarly I did not find any other authorization object which makes use of Sales group field and Sales office field which also has a linkage to VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
The customer is evaluating our contract with them based on this solution.
Any help is greatly and highly appreciate.
    Thanks,
    Niran.

  • Sales document number based on pricing procedure ,sales area , customer pri

    Hi,
where can i get saler document number based on pricing procedure ,sales area , customer pricing procedure and document pricing procedure.
please tell me the table name.
    Thanks
    Edited by: pandu123 on Jun 16, 2011 8:22 PM

I never heard of this requirement before, pulling sales document number based on pricing procedure based on customer pricing proc + document pricing procedure +sales area. These data are found in tables VBAK, T683,KNVV and TVAK. I dont think you can use ABAP query to join these table, check with an ABAP'er to develop a program for this requirement.

    Hi,

My clients are maintaining KG as sales unit and LB as Base Unit of Measure.
Now while processing the sales order the sales unit is coming as KG. The requirement is for the particular customer the Square Meter (SM) should come in the sale order instead of KG.

    Hi ,
In material master you can maintain UOM conversions. I think it will not automatically update in sales order based on customer . But it can help you to maintain condition records for this customer using SQm as UOM in vk12 and not KG . See if this works.
Other opton and the best one will be to use user exit to replace the UOM while creating the order byt aking helpo of some one from ABAP team . refer follwoing link for exits :

  • Rounding to Sales Unit in GATP

    HI! All
We are in process of implementing GATP and we have a requirement of rounding the confirmed quantity in APO.
The standard Library says that it can be achieved provided you carryout availaibility check from CRM system & you should have ECC defence system.
We dont use CRM nor we have ECC defence.
Can rounding be achieved while carrying out availaibility form a normal ECC system.
    Has any body tried it.
Please no links & theoritical answers.
    Thanks in Advance

    Vaibhav Sareen

    Hi
To perform rounding successfully, you must make the settings described Bellow
    Procedure
Settings for Rounding to Pack Sizes
    Settings in SAP SCM
    ●     Settings in SCM Basis
a.Define a number range for the packaging specification.
For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for SAP SCM under SCM Basis ® Packing ® Packaging Specification ® Define Number Range for Packaging Specification.
b.Make the following settings for determining packaging specifications:
    i. Define a field catalog.
Note that you must transfer customer-specific fields to the field catalog for Global ATP. In addition, you must implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/ATP_RND for customer-specific fields.
ii. Define condition types for the PAK application and the PS usage. Create access sequences, accesses, and condition tables.
    iii.       Define a determination procedure.
For more information about determining packaging specifications, see the IMG for SAP SCM under SCM Basis ® Packing ® Packaging Specification ® Determination of Packaging Specifications.
    ●     Settings in SAP APO
Define one or more packaging specifications. To define a packaging specification, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Advanced Planning and Optimization ® Global ATP ® Environment ® Packaging Specification ® Maintain Packaging Specification.
Make the following rounding settings for the packaging specification you created:
    ○     Header Information for the Packaging Specification
Choose one of the following rounding methods:
    ■      Pack-size-oriented rounding method
The pack-size-oriented rounding method rounds the demand to the next largest or next smallest pack size. Your settings for the packaging specification levels determine rounding.
    ■      Demand-quantity-oriented rounding method
The demand-quantity-oriented rounding method rounds the demand according to the rounding limits that you specify here. Enter the upper and lower rounding limit (as a percentage of the demand quantity or the monthly demand). The upper and the lower rounding limits are not related to the pack sizes.
Define the minimum quantity. This represents the smallest possible rounding result.
    ○     Contents of the Packaging Specification
Enter the product, the smallest quantity for the unit, and the unit of measure. The product is not the product to be checked; it is only a reference product for the calculation of the quantity.
    ○     Packaging Specification Levels
The levels of a packaging specification represent the different pack sizes for the product, such as package, box, and pallet.
    i.       Define one or more levels for the packaging specification.
ii.       Specify which level is the smallest pack size.
iii.       If you have chosen the pack-size-oriented rounding method, you can specify either the upper and lower rounding limit (as a percentage of the pack size) or the rounding direction for each level that you have defined after the level with the smallest pack size.
You can specify a rounding direction for the level that represents the smallest pack size, but not rounding limits.
If the demand quantity is smaller than the quantity that is contained in the smallest pack size, the system always rounds up (to the smallest pack size). Confirmed quantities can be rounded to zero.
Each additional pack size can only be defined as a multiple of the previous pack size. You can define 1, 10, and 30 as pack sizes in a packaging specification, for example, but not 1, 10, and 25.
    ●     Settings in Global ATP
Create a check mode and specify the rounding procedure that you want the ATP check to use as a basis for rounding. In SCM Basis, you have defined the rounding procedure as the determination procedure.
Create check instructions and activate the rounding procedure. After you have activated the rounding procedure, Global ATP rounds according to the specified rounding procedure.
Settings for Rounding to Sales Units
    Settings in SAP ECC
In Customizing for SAP ECC Enterprise Extension Defense Forces & Public Security (EA-DFP), activate rounding by setting the Only Complete. indicator. By using the advice code, you specify that only complete packs are to be delivered.
    Settings in SAP SCM
Define sales units in the product master on the Units of Measure tab page. To call the product master, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Advanced Planning and Optimization ® Master Data ® Product ® Product.

  • How to configure CLI/DNIS based access restriction in 5.3 ?

    Hi,
does anybody have an idea how the setting
define CLI/DNIS-based access restrictions which is defined in ACS v. 4.2
can be configured in acs 5.3 ?
in v. 4 for every user in a group with 40 members  a different CLI is defined for each. How can I configure that in version 5.3 ?
any help as always much appreciated!

The equivalebt to NAR functionality can be found at:
Policy Elements > Session Conditions > Network Conditions > End Station Filters
Can then define an object with a set of CLI values
These objects can then be used in policy conditions. So can create a condition with a set of CLI values and then match in authorization policy for values that are included in this set and set authorizations accoridngly
Not sure if this is your use case but hopefully may be a start

  • How to restrict header text changes in sales order level

    Dear Experts,
how to restrict header text changes in sales order level change mode
    thanks

    Hello Chandu,
how to restrict header text changes in sales order level change mode
In order to restrict changes to Sales Order Header Text, the appropriate User Exit would be USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_TVCOM_H. With the help of ABAPer, you can include the simple logic on the basis of Header Text type such that whenever any changes are incurred on the Sales Order header text, updates would be prevented.
Please try out this approach and let us know your latest observation on this issue.
