Access Service Builder Project after transport

Hello Experts,
I had created a builder project in SEGW & had also created two web services under this project. Our system refreshes every week & then transports are re-imported on need basis. My GW developments are re-imported. Though all objects are there & service is also working fine, I am not able to find my builder project in SEGW after re-import. I have checked TADIR & entry does exist here. After debugging search help at SEGW, i found out that it seraches a global buffer table if current user has accessed that project earlier.
What would be the way to get my project in SEGW after transport or re-import?

You need to install both the Folio Producer tools and the Folio Builder panel. They're separate installers.

Can't access my Imovie project after I dragged it to Desktop

I dragged my IMovie project to my desktop and now I can't get it to come up again when I doubleclick. When I click on it and Get Info, it says it is there and is 47 MB big. Help! This is our Amazing Race application video that I have been working on off and on for a year. And it's due next week! Thank you.

Drag it back from the Desktop to the Movies/iMovie Projects Folder.
Then quit and restart iMovie.

Unable to build project after checkout from CVS

When we import our java source files to the CVS module and later check the files out,
we cannot compile the files using JDeveloper. We get the following error from JDeveloper in the messages window: Internal compiler error.
We can, however, compile the source files using javac. Any ideas?
Environment:
Java IDE: Oracle 9i JDeveloper 9.0.2.829 running on Win2k, using Oracle OJVM
CVS Server: CVS 1.11.2 running on Red Hat 8 (rsh enabled)
CVS Client: JCVsII v.5.3.2 connecting using server mode

When checking the module (files) out from CVS do you get the same number and content as the before the import.

BlazeDS locking $ProjectName-debug folder and not allowing flex builder to build project

Hi all,
Im new to Flex. I'm trying to setup my development environment. What I've noticed is that when blazeds is started and I run a flex project, it creates a folder in the blazeds root folder named $ProjectName-debug (replace $ProjectName with the actual project name). Once this folder is created, and the flash page is accessed, it cannot be deleted until blazeds is actually stopped. The files on that folder seem to be locked. While this folder is locked, eclipse cannot seem to re-build the project (specifically clean). Thus every small change I make to the project, I'm currently having to stop blazeds, clean the flex project, start blazeds, run the flex project.What makes things worse is that I have to start our application along with blazeds so it can retrieve the data from the app (which takes a few minutes).
I'm wondering if other people are having to go through this pain or if they've figured out a way to get around this. I would ideally like to have a way where I'm able to rebuild the project and hit f5 and reload the page and see the changes. I understand this is not possible with debug.
If anyone has figured out a way to incorporate blazeds to their development environment in a more practical way, please let me know. We just switched from tapestry/gwt to flex. We used to be able to update on the go thus development was much simpler.

if you see a red error in your "problems" tab inside
flexbuilder, your project most likely will not be built fully, or
correctly, in that case running that project does not makes sense
at all, you need to make sure "problems" tab is clear of errors
(you might see warnings, but they are not very harmful) .if ther is
no errors, hitting ctrl+B builds the project and choosing Project
--> Clean ... clears output folder and rebuilds the project P.S
Unless you uncheck checkbox that says "automatically build project
after clean".
IMHO, turn off Auto Build and manualy build the project that
will take care of most issues, plus use (project --> clean) when
you need to make sure you have latest build .

Infotype not accesible after transporting to client 900

I have created a new infotype 9000 which is a copy of infotype 0000 in client 100. it works fine in client 100 but while transporting to 400 and 900 it gives a warning message with return code 4 and the same infotype is not accesible in client 900.
I have transported the infotype twice by creating new requests. As a last option I deleted the infotype and created it again. It works fine in client 100 but cannot be accessed in client 900 after transporting it.

Ya I have defined the infotype characteristics and they are same as Infotype 0000. There is no error in client 100. I can save data in Infotype 9000 in client 100. Its the problem in client 900. The BASIS person who transported the request told me that while transporting he got a warning message with return code 4. And once its transported in 900 it gives the message 'No infotype exists for character string 9000 ' when accessed from t-code PA30. Its working perfectly fine in client 100.

ESB(Enterprise Services Builder) access error after PI 7.1 install

We have installed PI 7.1 system. Everything went well with installation.
We can access all the components such as RWB, Directory, SLD,...
However when we try to access ESB(Enterprise Services Builder) we are geting the following error:
"Cannot connect to server using message server: ms://si5host:8106/P4"
We checked the exchange profile parameters and com.sap.aii.connect.repository.mshttpport is having 8106 value.
Did any one face such an issue. Please respond.

The problem is resolved for us.
The problem was caused because we did nt have a "FULLY QUALIFIED SERVER NAME" in the exchange profile parameters on the JAVA side.
Once we had the FULLY QUALIFIED SERVER NAME the issue was resolved.
Hope this helps other people who run into the same issue.

How to Find Out a Project Build Team Member's Level of Access to The Project's Site/Workspace

We're seeing issues where a Project's Build Team's Members are losing access to the related Project Workspace, so I'd like to find out/display if members of that Build Team have access to the related Workspace.
I can utilize a call to the Project.svc ReadProjectTeam method to get the team members, but I'm drawing a blank on how to return each of the team members relevant access to the underlying Project Workspace. I've been wandering through the Security.svc,
but that only shows information for current user.
What would be the recommended way to get/return a given resource's level of access to a Project Workspace?

You could simply view the associated security groups in the workspace to double-check the membership. This forum answer should provide you with the requisite information to find the correct security groups in the SharePoint Site.

Error after transport of Virtual Cube with Services

Hi All,
would any body can suggest me how we can change the source system assignment in QA or Production client for virtual Cube with Services.
A virtual cube is created with Services using the settings for RFC and using the logical source system. however after transporting the same to the QA system the Logical Source System has not changed and thus it is giving error " Error occured while determining target system for the logical system" would any body can suggest me how i can change the logical source system assignment in QA system for Virtual Cube with services.
Points would be rewarded appropriately.

Problem with theme service after transport to QAS

Hi,
when i click the link on BSP page inside portal, iam getting following error. the link is working outside portal.
its working on dev r/3 and portal. i got the problem after transport of the package to QAS, i checked all the services and alla are active.
http://XXXXXXX:7035/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal/main_theme/controls call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Theme is active and its applied for every user, i have 30 BSP pages in portal and only this page is showing this error, this page will be launched as popup from portal.

Web Interface builder - Not displaying planning folder after transporting

I created an web-enabled planning folder and transported it to the quality system.
In the development system works perfectly (variables, layouts, links, user-exits, etc).
After transporting it to the quality system when I run this web planning folder the page doesn't load and displays with an empty white web page.
I tried to re-generate it in the quality system, but I'm having the same problem. I haven't recieved any error message.

I tried re-transporting and re-generate it again and I'm still having the same problem.
Have you heard of a note or something for a similar problem?
The only thing I recall is that this client was using SEM 3.5 before and upgraded to SEM 4.0 recently.

Remote Delta link setup problem with Bean / Access Service

Hello,
I am trying to setup Remote Delta Link (RDL) between two portals. (Both portals same version - EP 7.0 EHP1 SP 05 - are in the same domain)
I already have the Remote Role Assignment working without any issues.
The following have been done successfully:
1. Same user repository has been setup for both the portals
2. Setup trust between producer and consumer (SSO working fine)
3. Producer added and registered succesfully on consumer
4. Permissions setup on producer and consumer
4. pcd_service user with required UME actions setup
I am able to see all the remote content in the Consumer portal.
When I try to copy the remote content and paste it as local content, I am getting the following error:

After increasing the log severity, I am able to see the following in Default Trace:

Like you can see above, there is some bean / access service which is not retrieved successfully. I am not sure if this is a permission problem on the consumer.
I have checked that the P4 ports are configured correctly (standard - not changed) and I am able to telnet from producer to consumer (and vice versa) on the P4 port.
I am stuck at this point and am not able to find any information on this.
I would really appreciate if some one can point me in the right direction.

Hi Raj,
Please check your config of the P4 port on the producer. Is it really 50004 (check SystemInfo of the producer)?
I do think there's a problem with the P4 communication since RDL requires P4 connection.

Service not working after altering Model provider class

Dear all,
I have created a OData service and consumed it successfully. I was able to post data to it. Now after altering the "model class" i.e., adding one property and changing ABAP Dictionary type. After doing these changes but i couldn;t consume the service and get "500 Internal server".
Did anyone experience this problem? Please note i didnt use Service builder(SEGW) to create a project instead i did all manually using Model and Data provider classes.
Please suggest. Your help is appreciated.

Hello Prabaharan,
This is a generic error at client side and there can be multiple reasons for it. This error is from the hub system and only way to check this error is to look into error log and application log in hub system.
Common Problems: property type errors (date, decimal/precision etc.)
But looking at the problem you are facing like Ron suggested you might get 500 internal server error because properties like data and time need to be defined nullable and you might have missed that.
Kindly check and mark fields as nullable if properties you are sending in the payload are null values.
lo_property->set_nullable( ).
Cache clean up is required only when you have done some changes to your model.
See the metadata and confirm if the new property added by you is present. if you are not able to see then do the following.
Try Clearing the cache using /n/iwbep/cache_cleanup and /n/iwfnd/cache_cleanup t-code.
Also clear server cache using /nsmicm t-code as shown below.

Integration builder config obj transported from DEV to QA but not found

Hi,
I have a new development in PI DEV. I exported the ESR objects in a transport as well the Integration builder config objects in the same transport. Asked my admin to move it through CTS to PI QA. Its done.
In PI QA system, I am able to see the new ESR objects in the Enterprise services Builder.
But not able to see the config objects in Integration Directory (Integration Builder).
I researched the forum got some tips tried but in vain.
1. I chose Tools menu --> Find transports option but no transports found.
2. I cleared cache (full refresh)
3. Closed and reopened Integration builder
I just want to see those config folders as it was designed in the dev !!
Help is appreciated please.

Yes , you can transport the ID Objects through CTS, But the catch is : -
After transport ID Objects, will not directly come into ID object list Like ESR Object Did , here in ID transported Object first Move into Change Object list , There you need to acticate Them. then these Object will be appear in ID Object List,
Method CONFIGURATION OBJECTS ---> (INTEGRATION DIRECTORY) -
> INTEGRATION BUILDER.
Step -I
1. Select Configuration Scenario to trasport.
2. Right Click on Configuration Scenario to Transport.
3. Select Export Option.
4. Check or Select the Configuration Scenario.
5. Check the Mode of transport.
CTS MOde:-
5.1     Select a required type of Object Set:
     IN OUR CASE: ALL OBJECT OF Selected Scenario.
5.2        Select Transort request.
5.3      Finish the Process.
TRANSPORT USING FILE SYSTEM:-
5.1     Select a required type of Object Set:
     IN OUR CASE: ALL OBJECT OF Selected Scenario.
5.2      Finish the Process.
Step II
1. GO TO TOOLS OPTION IN MENU BAR
2. OPEN CTS TRANSPORT ORGANIZER
3. Select the request to Release.
4. Press Button Release.
Step III( Steps to be Perform at Target System).
1. Execute Transection Code STMS.
2. Check your Transport Request Number.
3. Focus on that Trasport Request Number Through Mouse.
4. Now Import The Transport Request on Specific client of Target System.
5.Click Ok.
FINAL :- NOw on Quality Server all Transported Objects Need to be activated( CHANGE OBJECTS).
