Access table-SMTP mail

where can i found access table? inorder to modify access table for relay problem. actually i have a problem in sending mail through my email client. For the same i have searched, i found a helpful link

'Connect:172.30 RELAY'
in the access table, but now the problem is how can i find the access table?

I was first confused because in that link they were saying about soving the problem which is same as mine thats why I send this question.
Now I understood this is not the right way, so I have to stick on with authentication method itself.

I know what you are talking about because I setup no relay on my mail server. I understand why you need to supply a username and password because if the server doesn't allow relay, then you must supply a username and password. Doing it by IP address wouldn't work because you have to know the IP address of all people accessing that page. I am in the same boat as you and once I find out the answer, you'll be the first to know. There is one quick workaround. Get your Net Admin to create a user specifically for the page you plan to send from. Get him to allow relaying for that one user. That worked on my setup and like I said, I'm setup the same way you are. Thanks, J

Cannot send email through yahoo on iPad 4, apple.smtp.mail.yahoo not available as of December 1, 2012

I am unable to send emails through yahoo on my ipad 4 wifi, just starting over the weekend. My 3 other non-yahoo email accounts are working fine on my ipad. When I try to send an email from the yahoo account, I receive the message that the connection to the outgoing mail server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo" failed. I can send email through yahoo just fine on the web and on my computer through Thunderbird.

Yahoo's been having persistently random issues for months. You can try just waiting it out, or delete and readd your yahoo account. When my accounts were affected I just used webmail to access my yahoo accounts until it cleared up.
Chances are it's all on their end and really all you can do is wait it out.

Apple changed MobileMe to iCloud and then restricted iCloud to 10.7 users only unfortunately
If your machine is a 64 bit processor Intel Mac you can upgrade to 10.7 for $29, however a lot of your 10.5/10.6/Rosetta based software could cease to function, especially third party hardware drivers for printers, fax machines, all-in-ones, scanners etc.

Also depending how old the machine is, if it can accept 4GB of RAM (preferred), older video card, may not run 10.7 very well or stable.
My advice is to keep at 10.6.8, get a web based email service that's plaform/hardware neutral, forward your iPhone emails there. Gmail/Yahoo Mail for instance.
When your ready for new hardware and all new software, then buy a new machine.
If your going to go to 10.7 on your present hardware, I advise you clone 10.6.8 to a external drive first, that way you can c boot off the 10.6 disk erase the drive completely (necessary to remove hidden Lion Recovery Partition) and option boot off the 10.6.8 clone and reverse clone.

iCloud's mail server settings are different from MobileMe's. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

iCloud cannot access your AOL account (the MobileMe facility for checking external POP accounts does not exist in iCloud) - you will have to do this in the Mail application in the usual way. You could of course set up forwarding from your AOL account to iCloud (assuming they provide this facility) but you will not be able to reply using iCloud's SMTP server with anything other than the iCloud address as the 'From' address.

Problem with access to SMTP, IMAP, POP3 protocols in CAS 2013.

we have problem with access thgrough SMTP, IMAP, POP3 protocols in CAS 2013.
If I test connection to SMTP 25 port from other computer, session end quickly.
Test from CAS2013 to localhost or public IP is OK (similar also for IMAP and POP3).
Receive connectors are with defaults settings, firewall is disabled.
Service Microsoft Frontend Transport Services restarted, but no success.
Certificate is assigned to IMAP, POP3, SMTP, IIS.
IIS and HTTP(s), protocols are OK. Clients can connects only thgrough web, mobile (ActiveSync), or with Outlook with proxy.
Do you have some tip, what to test?
If I create new testing receive connector on port 26 for anonymous, behaviour is same, quick disconnecting.

Note 693306 - Error analysis for e-mails and fax sent via Service Manager.
Also as it says permision denied that means you have to check with your network team to check for proper access to cross firwall.

SMTP Mail Bug?

I've tried to insert an SMTP mail account into my iPhone, but each time I try to enter data, the phone resets to its main menu.
Specifically, when I enter a 'password' for 'outgoing mail', any follow-on touch will cause the phone to return to the main menu. I have two other mail accounts set up and working just fine (.Mac and GMAIL), but this account requires a password for outgoing mail SMTP authentication - and that's where the iPhone stumbles. Has anyone else run across this bug?
[Interestingly, I have a password entered for incoming mail, and the phone does fine at receiving mail from this account.]

Not sure where the problem lies but .Mac's SMTP server and Gmail's SMTP server is password authenticated.
Reverting to the Home screen indicates an application crash.
Try an iPhone reset and if no change, try deleting and then re-entering the account.
If you are also accessing this account with the Mail application on your Mac, have you tried transferring the account settings from your Mac to your iPhone via your iPhone's sync preferences with iTunes?

You can't upgrade to any faster, & especially not to an Intel CPU needed to run Lion/10.7 for full iCloud usage.
You can have limited use of iCloud the way it is, you can view all of iCloud in a Browser, You can use Find my Phone I hear, & you can use IMAP Mail for syncing, but no other syncing.

IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:

Has anyone successfully been able to configure DPM 2012 to send email notifications to a standard SMTP mail server (NON-EXCHANGE)?

I try with IIS6 SMTP server with Anonymous Access.
From DPM side, settings for "Authentificated SMTP Server: Username/password" :
1- Leave blank =>ID 2013 : logon failure : unknow user name or bad password.
2- DPMServerName\UserAccount => Works :)
Network trace with Wireshark :
1- Nothing => Most likely blocked by DPM console : Authentificated SMTP Server must be fill.
2- See full SMTP connection, mail send.
Could you do network trace to see what's happen ?

TS3276 Inadvertently deleted Outgoing SMTP Mail Server. Entered correct Yahoo email SMTP info and now SMTP is "Offline". Can't SEND emails. Help!

Inadvertently deleted SMTP Outgoing Mail Server address. Re-entered correct mail service provider's address and now have '(Offline)' tagged on server name. Can't SEND any emails. When I try, message will not send but goes into Outbox and sits. How can I get this SMTP address 'Online'? Help!

For whatever reason Yahoo blocked access to their mail servers from Apple Mail in the past couple of days. I deleted my Yahoo account in Apple Mail and tried to add it back. NO JOY.
Today, Yahoo has reopened their servers so that I could add my Yahoo account to Apple Mail again successfully. Even w the second app password.
The problem was at Yahoo. Apple Mail people were either blocked or knocked off from their Yahoo servers for a time. This may happen again as it has in the past. I hope it doesn't become a frequent happening.

SMTP mail servers

I have several email addresses, all entered in my 'Accounts' pane in Mac mail. However, I want one of the email addresses/accounts to access one SMTP server and another email addresses/account to access a second SMTP server. If I go to Account Information > Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) >Edit server list and then enter a User Name and password, all the other email addresses/accounts adopt the same User Name and password. I want different email addresses/accounts to have different User Names and passwords. Is this possible?

There is another tiny twist which I haven't mentioned. BT broadband accounts can only take 10 email addreses (per account). So for example account 1 is called [email protected] and hosts email addresses 1-10. If you want 11-20 addresses you have to open a sub-account, which has a new name... say [email protected] All 20 accounts are set up as accounts in my Mac Mail, but half of them I want to send via [email protected], and the other half via [email protected]
The problem is that there doesn't seem to be any way of doing this as both one and two are actually hosted on the same server (with just one name) and changing one of the outgoing mail server User Names (e.g. [email protected]) and associated Password seems to change all 20?

It seems that your configuration is Ok. By the way, the workaround for this error is:
ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
[Transparent gateway for ODBC][H001] The environment variable <HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO> is not set.
* Set HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO in the hs{sid}init.ora file to the data source name.
Example: HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = <ODBC DataSource Name>
* Make sure the hs{sid}init.ora file exists in the ORACLE_HOME/hs/admin directory and has the same name as the SID in the LISTENER.ORA.
Example: If SID=hsodbc in the listener.ora file, then the hs{sid}init.ora file would be named ORACLE_HOME/hs/admin/inithsodbc.ora
