Access to a website

Strange message .... i've had someone create a website for a game website .... i can not access the website because i get the following message
You are using an Invalid IP to access this site!
i can get other levels of the website but i can not access the main page .. everyone else can....
any ideas

Hi
Would you post the link to the site you have this problem with, so we may try it?
Try Safari in a other user or "Test" account, to create one if you do not have one:
Under the Blue Apple -> System Preferences /Accounts/ Login Options use the [+] to create one, for ease you could enter test in all the fields.
This will help us determine if there is an issue with your user account only or a system wide problem.

  • How do I access my iWeb website when I no longer have the original iWeb program it was published with?

Last Fall, my '06 iMac was vandalized and destroyed unexpectedlyl. Since then, I have'nt been able to access my only website, which was published through iWeb. My new iMac does not have iWeb.
How can I access my main website published through the old iWeb? I must transfer my domain name/site to a new web host and build a new site. My website is out of date and must be updated/replaced asap. Please help.

To edit your website, you need the domain.sites file iWeb uses to store its assets.
    You also need iWeb.
If the file is missing and you have no backup, you'll have to start from scratch.
Perhaps you still have the iLife install disks.
And browse this forum to learn how to get a copy of iLife. It's often discussed.

  • Updated to firefox 4.0. since then my computer is very slow accessing the internet, websites and getting information from within a website.

Over a week ago I updated my computer to Firefox 4.0. Since then my computer is very slow accessing the internet, websites and getting information from within a website. Also, a tool bar has shown up for YAHOO which I did not request. The old detailed tool bar for Firefox has disappeared. All that now shows for Firefox is the area to enter website urls and an area to enter topic for a Google Search.
Many times I have to exit Firefox and re-enter it later to access the internet.
Please advice what I need to do to get back to the speed I had with the older version of Firefox.
    Thank You,

  • Why cant I access 1 particular website unless I bypass my RV082?

I'm not very saavy on these matters but here's my story. I was able to access a certain website thru my router up until Jan 4th. Since then , the only way to do so is by connecting directly to my modem and bypassing  my router. I have  3 computers on my network and ,depending on which browser I use I get different error messages..i.e..connection has been reset; cannot find website or it may be down etc . Things I have tried (or have had others try). Access site from DMZ on router; disabled firewall;cloned address; tried accessing from hotshield;rebooted router (did NOT  do hard reset by pushing button on router);Im assuming that if I can access site hooking directly to modem that the computers themselves are not an issue and the problem is either with the site or the router. Someone mentioned that if you try to access a site from different computers at the same time on the same address they may block your MAC address..not sure if this is true. I contacted Cisco support but being the router is over 2 years old they cant give me any support even if I offer to pay for it.They said something about tracing packets or checking internal logs but thats way above me at this point unless someone held my hand. As I said Im not really saavy at this but I can follow EXPLICIT instructions. Any thoughts about where to go from here greatly appreciated..john

  • No access to https websites

    Hello everybody,
since a few day I can no longer access to https websites.
    Can anybody helb me?

just use the normal browser, all those useless extra browser are not doing any thing else than the normal browser and most of the time they are unstable as it is the case now, and in the worse case they will even force you to re-install the whole PlayBook as losing everything in the process because they cause corruption in the OS
My advice stay with the normal browser it works for 99.9/100 web site, including the banks which are the one using HTTPS
Using the Playbook and the Z10 and the Z30 and loving them

New Mac only 5 days old. Daughter accessed a movie website and now popups keep appearing and unable to access any other Internet sites without being redirected. Have deleted her as a user and then tried to restore to factory settings. I did something wrong and it is now doing an Internet recovery. Help I am completly lost and don't know what I am doing.

You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere  should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
    or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
    if it's not already checked.

I have this pop out and asking for my certificate of proof of ID and without it I cannot access an airline website to complete redemption points.
How do I switch this off??

Outside of the contact number for that you've already used I don't know another way of direct contact. Here are some things that they may or may not of had you try that might help you. If you will go to the settings app and pick general on the right-hand side you will see accessibility. Within that you can adjust a text size make the text bowl you can also increase the contrast. You can also adjust the brightness and control panel.
As for Siri again in the settings app under general you should see Siri on the right-hand side with the switch to turn it on. If that is turned on and you're still having issues
    Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
     Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

  • Problems accessing Oracle BAM-Website

    Hi!
I've installed Oracle BAM (10.1.3.1.0) on a WindowsXP SP2 machine using an Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 Database. There were no problems during install, the intallation-guide is quite good for this product. After installation i tried to access the BAM-Website on
http://<servername>:8080/oraclebam (the portnumber is the default-port for the IIS installed). I received an error-message stating an 'Error during the processing of the request' (actually it is the german message 'Fehler bei der Verarbeitung des Requests', so my translation may not be the original english message). After klicking on the present 'Details'-Link i get the following posted at the end of this article (see below).
In the WinXP-EventLog there ara also errors stating "EventEngine: During Check ADC, exception Input string was not in a correct format."
I suppose that ADC stands for 'Active Data Cache', whose service is up and running.
I could not find a solution in any of the existing threads, so any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Magnus

    Hi,
Where is BAM suppose to be installed? Is it supposed to be in the same computer as the soa suite is? The soa suite is installed on port 80 by default, and also is the BAM so if I already have my soa suite, how am I supposed to install BAM in the same port?
Is BAM really not working on a different port than 80?
    Any help would be appreciated,

  • I am unable to access my Bank website since upgrading to Mavericks (Safari 7)

I am unable to access my Bank website since upgrading to Mavericks (Safari 7)
I get the following error message in Safari before I even have the opportunity to
    connect to my bank's website.
It works fine in Firefox and Chrome.
    Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://www.tdbank.com/" on this server.
    Reference #18.a555ee3f.1382720248.13b74953

I experienced the same problem where by I could not log into my Nationwide Bank account when I had upgraded Safari to the latest Version before Mavericks 6.1.0 on OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.5. I believe.
I already had Trusteer Rapport installed as recommended by banks.
Some Banks worked but Nationwide skipped the log in page and kept taking me to a page about Cookies telling me I needed to enable them but they were enabled. I just could not get into the Log In Page. Incidentally the Nationwides Cookies screen shot is of an out of date Cookies setting page - it is now under privacy in Safari preferences.
I then installed Rapport again when it popped up as an option and bingo I could get to the Log In page.
Took the plunge and upgraded last evening to Mavericks
Same probelm occured cannot Log In to Nationwide.
I have just stopped Trusteer Rapport and thank goodness I can get into Log On again.
However when I logged out and tried to open another site Safari crashed with the following error message
"safari quite unexpectedly while using trf.dylib plug-in"
Chose Reopen and safari opened Ok
I googled the message and that got me here - seems it is Trusteer Rapport
So someone needs to sort this out I guess Trusteer I guess?
    Hope this is helpful
    Cheers

  • Does iPad/apple block access to some websites without my permission?

Does iPad/apple block access to some websites without my permission?

There is in fact no native ability in iOS to block specific web sites. All you can do is turn off Safari completely.
As the others have suggested, either those sites are not compatible with the browser in iOS (being based on Flash or Java, or using Microsoft-proprietary components that work only in Internet Explorer, for instance), or your Internet connection is blocking the sites.
    Regards.

  • I can't access this secure website with the new fireforx upgrade but I could before the upgrade.

As above. What can I say-I have tried everything listed on the support forum website. I had no problem accessing this secure website, which is my work email, before I upgraded to Firefox 4.0. I would prefer not have to go back to the previous version if possible. I don't like IE because it is just too slow, but right now I have to use it to access this website. I have windows firewall and have allowed firefox.exe as an exception. Any suggestions as this is very frustrating. Thanks

You should be able to use the OpenVPN Connect app running on your iPad to connect your iPad to the VPN directly. It is an official OpenVPN client for iOS devices.
In what way is it "not compatible"? Have you tried it? Tunnelblick is an OpenVPN client, so your school's VPN is using the OpenVPN protocol. That means any OpenVPN client should be able to access it. (It is possible, but unlikely, that your school uses encryption that is not available on the iPad, but that would be very unusual.)
Otherwise, a remote control app on your iPad would let you control your Mac at home. "Back to My Mac", for example, would allow you to control your Mac remotely. The tricky part of this is that usually a VPN is set up to send all Internet traffic via the VPN server, and I'm not sure how that would work with "Back to My Mac".

  • Having trouble accessing a bank website

The other day, I got a message saying that it could "not load information from this location". Now, the browser isn't giving me any message box at all - it just keeps trying to load without any success.
My bank tells me their other members are having no problems. I have contacted my Broadbank provider, and they say it is not on their end since I can easily access all other websites. I have emptied the cache, deleted the cookies, and even tried to access the site when logged in as a different user.
    Help!

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
If you are seeing the same problem from another User Account, then you probably have a Network type problem. Are you having problems with any other web site besides the bank? Are you using Ethernet or Airport?
    A few suggestions:
    - Make sure no proxies are selected in your Network Panel>(connection - ethernet or airport)>Proxies. If there is a proxy, deselect it, select "apply". Then retry Safari>bank site after "emptying cache" in the Safari Menu.
    - If no go, Unplug your cable box, wait a few minutes, plug-in. Restart the computer. Try Safari>Bank site.
    - No go>Contact your ISP.
    Post back
