Access to account "iCloud" not permitted

Yesterday I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 8. Before that I had recently managed (after formatting my 13" macbook pro) to sync my iCal on my Mac and iPhone via iCloud. I activated the family sharing feature and am now sharing with my BF (he's the admin or w/e). When I opened my Macbook today I got a message about family sharing failing or something, I unfortunately clicked it away before I read it properly... Now my iCloud is spamming me with the error box
"access to account "iCloud" not permitted
the server responded
403
to operation
CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation"
I tried some of the things that show up in google (deselected iCal in system preferences > iCloud and then rebooting) but there's 2 problems. All of them are 2013 at the latest but most 2011, so obviously before iOS8. And they tell you to delete some files, but I'm Norwegian and my Macbook is in Norwegian and I've no idea what the files would be named in Norwegian. I've tried both the english words and any Norwegian translations I could think of.
As if Mavericks ruining my Mac wasn't enough...

I've done nearly all possible permutations of this thread's recommendations and still it isn't working.  It's not calendar specific as this is happening to random events throughout my calendar.  I cannot move them in iCloud using Safari, on my MacBookPro using iCal, or on my iPhone either.  Errors galore...
I even went in and tried to make the iPhone calendars stop synching all events and then turned it back on, no go.  It's as if iCloud "owns" my event now and nobody (me on any device that is) can change it.  Solution that I've found so far is to delete the event, create a duplicate and then carry on BUT this is a workaround obviously!

  • Can't use Calendar: Access to account "iCloud" is not permitted.

I recently have been experiencing this error:
The server responded with an error.
Access to account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
It occurs repeatedly every two seconds and I can't get the dialog to dismiss or go away. My calendars work on fine on my iPhone 6 and iPad mini but on the mac, it gives this error. I tried creating a new user account on the mac, starting fresh but as soon as I log into iCloud and then open calendar, the dialog is back. I suspect there is something wrong on the server site of things. I had some fradulent charges on my iCloud account that Apple cleared up for me. Then they disabled my account (I guess this is something they do when a dispute occurs) and I've had to contact them twice to get them to clear it up. This error started to appear around the same time. I also tried to update to Yosemite but that didn't fix it either. I've deleted all my calendars and created a new one via iCloud.com. Still there. I've found some others online who have had the same issue without success. Is there any hope to get the calendar working again? Help!?

    Alex,
Quit Calendar, turn off your internet connection, then paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.
Open the Calendars Folder which is in that Library Folder, and move any any files with "Cache" listed in the name field to your Desktop.
Next open the Preferences Folder in that same Library Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.
Log out/in or restart reconnect the internet and open Calendar.

  • Access to account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

    Hi there,
I am having a very infuriating problem with iCal. Every couple of seconds I get the message:
Access to account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
It has made iCal completely unusable. I have tried unpicking various calendars, which makes no difference. Even with all the calendars disabled I keep getting the message.
I hope someone may be able to help me with this.

It should synch despite the error messages, at least when you enter your appointments with iOS (iPhone, iPad) but I think (not sure) also when on OS X (Mavericks and Yosemite).
The very annoying 403 error messages (every few seconds) for a number of iCloud users are there since mid September. This is a month now !
This total iCal disaster is very clearly an error on the server side of iCloud. It works on the iCloud.com webpage though.
Don't waste your time and nerves searching for mistakes on your iMac.

  • Difficulty with sharing my calendar and iCloud not "permitting" it.

I get "Access to "xxx" in "XXX's Calendar" in account "iCloud" is not permitted. The server responded:"403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
When I respond as "revert to server" it changes my calendar event.
How can I get the access permitted?

I have something similar. But when I click on Revert to Server, it goes away and immediately comes back with the same alert. If I click on Go off line, the alert dissappears, but a short while later it returns with the original alert. This is a pain because I am off line most of the time, or busy getting the icon ical in the dock to stop jumping.
So I reentered the  event using different wording and deleted the original event. All that happened was the alert returned but using a different alert.
Sorry not a lot of help.

  • Access to account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVSetPropertyQueueableOperation.

Why do i keep getting this error message every time i use ical?

Does anyone have a legitimate resolution to this issue?  I can't see how just saying ignore would be the resolution to an issue that is stating that your iCal cannot connect to your iCloud calendar.  I understand that this could happen if your internet connection is interupted durning a refresh or auto sync but every time you go to make a new event on your iCal for your iCloud calendar is quite ridiculous.  Can someone from apple chime in here and give us a little insight on this issue.  The setup I saw this on was on a users new 2011 iMac with 10.7.2.  I have attached a screen shot of the exact error that was displayed.
    Thanks for your time!

  • Posting to G/L accounts with open item management are not permitted

    Hi all,
I am trying run run foreign currency valuation in SM35, but the system prompt me error in FBB1 saying that posting to an open item management account is not permitted. I try to unchecked the 'open item management' flag in 'Change G/L account centrally', but another error message tell me that 'the account does not have a balance of zero'...
    Kindly help, thanks

    Hi
If you have balance in GL account you can't make it as "open item management"
    make zero balance
block the account for further postings
    run RFSEPA02 in SE38
    then unblock the account
transfer the balance from the dummy account

We previously had a similar issue when migrating multiple accounts from MobileMe to iCloud.  The issue was resolved by disabling and then enabling iCal sync through iCloud on our iMacs in System Preferences.
Always backup your calendar before troubleshooting (File > Export > iCal Archive).
The following steps are roughly from a Apple Support Community discussion.
    Open iCloud in System Preferences.
Switch off (uncheck) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Backup iCal before doing this. You will need to remove calendar data.
Open iCal and verify the iCloud account is removed in the iCal preferences under accounts.
Close iCal, reopen System Preference and switch on (check) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Reopen iCal and verify the iCloud account is enabled in the iCal preferences under accounts.
At this point if the problem persists you might try completely signing out of iCloud and then signing back in. But remember to backup all related data (iCal, Contacts, Mail, Photostream, etc) before turning off iCloud sync!

  • TS3999 Received 2 appointments, same date, same content, just different hours. Since then I receive message from iCal: Access to "Subject" in account "iCloud" is not permitted. The server responded "403" to CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation. It's a bug!

Received 2 appointments from a customer, same date, same content, just different hours. Since then I receive message from iCal: Access to “Subject” in account “iCloud” is not permitted. The server responded "403" to CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation. In my opinion this is a bug, because iCloud is not able to handle 2 appointments at the same date with same content, just at different hours. The different hours should be enough individuality for each event on calendar.

Here are 4 identical events (other than time) in Calendar on my mac
Here is how they appear at iCloud.com
I concluded that iCloud has no problem with identical events seperated by time, so the question becomes what is wrong with your setup as opposed to what is wrong with iCloud.

  • What does 'Access to "CLOUT / Robert Owens" in "Jay Paradis" in account "iCloud" is not permitted.  The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.' mean?

I keep getting an error in my iCloud calendar that reads:
Access to “[appointment name]” in “[calendar name” in account “iCloud” is not permitted.
    The server responded:
    “403”
    to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
What does this mean and how do I fix it? Thanks!

First, try the simple fix: back up all data, then uncheck Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane. Check it again. Test.
If there's no change, see whether any of these fixes is applicable:
server error "access is not permitted"
    ical 403 server error

  • Access to "Fred's Birthday 12/2" in "Birthdays" in account "iCloud" is not permitted.

I continually get the following message when trying to make changes to iCal synced to iCloud. "Access to “Fred's Birthday 12/2” in "Birthdays” in account “iCloud” is not permitted." It started when I tried to merge two calendars in iCloud. I'm trying to keep calendars on three computers and one iPhone in sync. Suggestions? Thanks!
The Message I get looks like this.

First, isolate the problem to the computer.
Go to icloud.com and attempt to change the calendar there.  If it works, then you know it's an issue on the computer.
If it turns out to be an issue on the computer:
Quit iCal.  Open a Finder window.  Click Go at the top of your screen, then Computer.  Double click Machintosh HD, and go into Users.  Hold CTRL and click on your home folder.  Click Get Info off of the context menu.  On the new window that opens, scroll to the bottom.  Click the arrow beside Sharing and Permissions so it points downward.  Click the lock in the lower right and unlock it with your admin password.  Make sure it says read/write beside your name.  Then click the gear at the bottom and select Apply to enclosed items...  Click OK to confirm, and then wait for it to finish.
When it's done, try iCal again.
If it happens at iCloud.com, call Apple.
