Access to account "Primary Email" is not permuted.  ???

Can someone help me do whatever needs to be done to stop getting the following iCal error message that I have recently started to get frequently.  Step-by-step help (as if I was a moron) is what works best for me.
The server responded with an error.
Access to account 'Primary Email' is not permited.
The server responded:
"403"
to operation
CalDAVAccountRefreshQueableOperation.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Delete the calendar account and add it back. If it's an iCloud account, all you have to do is uncheck and recheck the box marked Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane.
Step 2   
You may be trying to access an invited event that you declined, or one that was rescheduled after you accepted it. The error message should give you a clue as to what it is. If the calendar is on iCloud, you can bring up the Calendar on the website and select
          Show Declined Events
from the popup menu with the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page. The declined events will appear in gray, and one of them should match what's shown the error message. [Credit for this solution to ASC member Psi.]
Step 3
If you get the error when trying to accept an invitation in an email attachment, it's because the organizer didn't properly create the event.
Step 4
Follow the instructions in this support article. Modify as necessary for a calendar that's not on iCloud.

    You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

    You would have to verify a few conditions first :
    Ensure that the email address you enter:
    Is one that you regularly use since this will be the primary email for your account
    Is a valid email address
    Is not already associated with another Apple ID you have
    Is not an address that ends in @mac.com. @me.com, or @icloud.com
    If you meet all those conditions (you might have to dissociate the recovery email from your current Apple ID) and your current Apple ID does not end with @mac.com. @me.com, or @icloud.com, you would follow these steps from the article:
    Follow these steps to change the primary email address for your Apple ID:
    Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID," and sign in.
    With the Name, ID, and Email Address drawer selected, click Edit next to Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
    Enter your new email address.

  • New skype account notification email - but not my ...

    I received an email saying my new skype account had been created but it is not my account, nor did I request it. I am guessing someone created a new account and put a typo in their email address that ended up being my true email address. How do I get the account disassociated with my email address?

    If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

  • Would like to exclude some email accounts from email count/noti​fications

    I have an email account on my Z10 that I don't want any notification or count on the main screen.  I can exclude the email from the Hub but it still notifies me on the main screen that I have email.  It would be nice to exclude this so that I could check it once a day or as needed without being notified of every bit of spam that comes to this account.

  • My exchange account sent email does not show in mail

    I am running a 2007 MS Exchange account and I want to use Mail as my mail software, all the incoming mail appears but my sent messages do not - does anybody have any ideas for a fix for this problem?

    Had this problem too. Went in to my Exchange account settings in mail and switched theoutgoing mail server to use my company's SMTP server instead of Exchange. BOOM! All my sent messages showed up. Hope that helps!

    I logged into my account and changed the apple id and email. Now, I tried to log back in but I have to verify the new email address. I received the email with the link.     How can I delete the primary email address and reset to use the second email address?
    Because I cannot remember the password (always used automatic sign in option) and I no longer have access to the primary email address.
    Now I cannot sign-in to my skype account from any other computer.  I do not want to loose the skype account as I have many phone numbers and contact information saved.

    When you go into 'Manage your Name, ID and Email Addresses' it comes up with an option to 'edit' your 'Apple ID and Primary Email Address' - not one or the other. My apple ID is an old email address which will soon discontinue so I need to change it. But as I understand you can not change you apple ID without losing your previously purchased apps - or consequent updates for them. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

    You lose content if you change accounts, you are keeping the same account just changing the details.
    Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple,  Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)
