Access to Buttons Folder in Captivate6

I am using Captivate 6 and have lost access to my buttons folder in the Properties panel.  Can somebody please suggest how to fix this?

Thanks Rick
The image is attached as suggested.  I couldn't find a to expand the Properties panel to bring the buttons folder in view.  Seems like a bug but I am sure there is a fix for this.

  • Access to Guest Folder requires login when accessed from Portal/SSO

    We have wired XML-P to use OID and then registered it as a Partner Application in our Portal/SSO server (which also uses the same OID instance). All works well except now when we try to access the Guest folder from within Portal the SSO login screen pops-up. We have created a very simple HTML/URL portlet that points to the Guest folder and the idea is for users to have Public/anonymous access to this folder. Any ideas?

    Hi,
    You can try to enable "Turn on password protected sharing" in Network Sharing Center. After that, only people with a user name and password on the computer will be able to log into shared network folders.
    Another workaround method you can try:
    Open Run, type rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr, then Press
    Enter.
    In the prompt dialog, choose and delete the user account used to network sharing.

  • Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location.

    Hi, guys
    I cannot view delegate mailbox in Outlook. Following is my configure.
    I have two mailbox A-User and B-User
    Login Outlook as A-User, click File -> Account Settings -> Delegate Access, add B-User and give Editor permission of Inbox.
    Right click A-User's root inbox and select Properties -> Permission, select B-User and check "Folder visible".
    Login Outlook as B-User on other computer, click File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings, select B-User and click Change -> More Settings -> Advanced, add A-User.
    Now I can see a root A-User in Navigation Pane. But when I click it, it shows
    "Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location."
    or
    "Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. The operation failed. An object cannot be found".
    I searched some solutions from internet, but all of them don't work. Could you give some suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    First, please double check if you have given the right permission to B-User on your step 2.
    In addition, we can try to give a higher permission to the B-user to check the result.
    Please feel free to post back and let me know the result.

  • Access Privileges Button does not bring up pop-up Menu -- SOLUTION

    Hi. I was puzzling for a long time over why my Access Privileges Button did not work under System Preferences // Sharing on the Apple Remote Desktop Panel. I tried re-installing the Remote Desktop Bundle, removing System caches and so forth but nothing fixed it.
    The culprit was that somehow the following support file was missing: RemoteDesktop.bundle inside of the following directory: /System/Library/PreferencePanes/SharingPref.prefPane/Contents/Resources .
    I copied the file from another MacBook by selecting System/Library/PreferencePanes/SharingPref.prefPane in the Finder and then using the option menu to select Show Package Contents.
    I hope this will help anyone else who has run across this problems. Thanks.

    Thankyou VonHamhorse. I was met with the same problem.. EXACTLY. Your solution worked. My situation involved two Intel iMacs. Pre-sharing pane problems, I deleted the extra user from the iMac in question. (I was having to enter in an admin name and password everytime I upgraded the software. I found by deleting the second user that was installed by an ARD Admin package, I no longer had to enter in two sets of confirmations for each time I upgraded software.) However, after that deletion, I no longer could access the iMac via ARD Admin. I was working on that iMac tonight and decided to check out the "Sharing Control Panel" when I discovered I had no drop down menu. A quick search in discussions brought up your solution and in minutes, I had control again! Hopefully I'll be able to rectify my connection now.. Thanks again.

  • Now Mavericks is installed, I cannot access my downloads folder.

    Now Mavericks is installed, I cannot access my downloads folder. How do I click on items in the folder and get them to open? When I attempt to click on the items, nothing happens. Before Mavericks, I could click and get the folders to open.  Yes, I have used three different devices to try to click on them, so it is not my mouse/treackpad/Wacom pen. I am getting very frustrated with this new OS - this is not the only thing bothering me.

  • How can I access my user folder on a second boot partition?

    Hi there. Thank you for reading this. I am at a bit of a loss although I have searched several forums to find someone having the same problem:
    I use my Macbook Pro in the office and at home. To keep things strictly apart and have to separate Time Machine backup procedures, I have divided my harddrive into two boot partitions ('office' and 'private') and installed Mountain Lion on both of them. Now occasionally when I am at the office I would like to access my  user folder on 'private' to retrieve a file from the documents folder there (e.g. a paper I gave in my free time but would like to send to a colleague). Now although I see the 'private' volume, and the other user folder and the Documents folder in it with a red 'No Access' badge, even when I  set read/write permissions via Command-I > Permissions for my current account, I do not see any files in it apart from Microsoft User Data. I have tried enabling the root user but with the sam result.
    Do I really have to shut down the computer and boot with the 'private' boot volume in order to access the files on 'private'>user?
    Looking forward to your suggestions! Thank you in advance!
    Christian

    To solve this issue permanently, is to first disconnect both TimeMachine drives.
    Boot into one partition and consider it history, make a note of everything, apps, export bookmarks, serial keys and files to a regular external drive. (non TimeMachine)
    If on a hard drive, consider the first partition for performance, the second one is going to be slower. (SSD no need)
    Next what you do is boot into the first partition and use Disk Utility to erase (with zero option if a hard drive) the other partition. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the first partition to the second. (should be about equal sizes or tweak before cloning.)
    Repair permissions on both partitions in Disk Utility.
    Next boot into the second partition and install/uninstall apps and files. etc and set it backup up the way you had it.
    Once your sure, then update TimeMachine for each one.
    Now you will be able to easily access the other bootable partition as long as your logged into the same account name on the first partition., in other words you can access the same named account on both partitions and trade files without rebooting.
    Because it's a clone, you have the same access privileges to the files on the other partition.
    If your a power user, your going to find bootable clones are a much superior option than TimeMachine
    Most commonly used backup methods

  • Restrict access to buttons, regions, etc. on a per user basis?

    My application restricts access to buttons, regions, etc. on a per user basis.
    Here is my application logic...
    1. A User can only edit items they own.
    2. A Super-User can edit all items
    So, when a user logs in, I use a post-authentication process to set the user ID to an application level item.
    Now, for example, to have an edit button display on a page, I need to check the item's owner ID against the application level user ID...and check to see if this user is on the Super User list via a query.(which could be set to another application level item upon login...I guess)
    Question...What is the best way to do this? Conditional display? Authorization scheme?
    Would something like the following work for a Conditional Display?
    Condition: SQL Expression
    &USER_ID.=&P6_ITEM_OWNER_ID. OR USER_ID in (select USER_ID from table where USER_ID=&USER_ID.)
    How would I do this with an Authorization Scheme? (I like the idea of updating the logic in single location...but I'm not sure if it is possible because I have to check PX_OWNER_ID would be different on each page.)

    Hi Denes,
    Thanks for your code which allows user to edit (if authorized) and view (if not).
    But some how - I do not get the image to show up - instead it show a small underline.
    From SQL point of view - here is what I get - when i run the sql
    '<img src="/i/ed-item.gif">',2,CR TEST,,,,dune2.cit.cornell.edu,CRDMTEST.CIT.CORNELL.EDU,PSPROD,,,CRDMTEST
    Here is my wrap_image function
    create or replace function wrap_image(p_user_name in varchar2,p_dm_name_id in number)
    return varchar2 IS
    v boolean := False;
    ret_val varchar2(1000);
    begin
    dbms_output.put_line('user='||p_user_name);
    dbms_output.put_line('dm_name='||p_dm_name_id);
    -- Check authorization if the user is super user - return true, else if he has edit priv on dm_name_id - return true - else false
    v:=ACL_DMTOOLS_DM_PRIV(p_user_name,p_dm_name_id);
    if v then
    ret_val := '<img src="/i/ed-item.gif">';
    ret_val := ''''||ret_val||'''';
    dbms_output.put_line('TRUE');
    else
    ret_val := '';
    dbms_output.put_line('FALSE');
    end if;
    return ret_val;
    end;
    Thanks for your great educational site.

  • Itunes crashes when I try to access the podcast folder

    I keep having a problem with accessing the podcast folder for my iPod Touch. I can access all of the other folders with no problem. As soon as I click on the podcast folder, a pop-up window appears telling that "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I do click the "send error report" but this is maddening. It shuts down iTunes altogether. Any ideas? Thanks!

    As soon as I click on the podcast folder, a pop-up window appears telling that "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
    That one often seems to be due to an issue with a damaged podcast. Tracking down which podcast (or podcasts) is causing the grief can be a bit of a trial though. Jim's technique from the following post looks about the best way of doing it that I've seen:

  • Access multiple buttons in a loop??

    Hi,
    This is a continuation of my last question and I am hoping Ned will tell my what to do. I am really thankful for all your help so far...:) The problem now is that I need to access the buttons in the following format.
    img1._alpha = 100;
    I tried the following within the loop,
    ["img" + i]._alpha
    "img" + i._alpha
    both are incorrect. Can you please tell me how I can attach the i to img, so that I can call it within a loop??

    the brackets need a lead in object, so if there is no containing object (like an mc), "this" usually works... though you could also probably use _root (avoid using _root unnecessarily/habitually though)
    this["img" + i]._alpha

  • "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request." when trying to access a shared folder in domain environment.

    Hi,
    I already have a windows server 2003 working as a Primary Domain Controller (PDC) and now I created another windows server 2012 to work as an Additional Domain Controller (ADC).
    - PDC is doing (Active directory domain services + DNS + DHCP)
    - ADC is doing (Active directory domain services + DNS)
    For testing purposes, I shutdown the PDC and let the ADC up and running. Now, Whenever I try to access a shared folder on any server in the domain, I got this message "\\x.x.x.x is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource.
    Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
    There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request."
    Actually, the replication of AD objects and DNS records between the PDC and ADC is done successfully.  I also can resolve names using the ADC's DNS. Also, I can ping servers hosting the files I want to access.
    Appreciate your help.

    The PDCe is required for a lot of services, to include DFS.
    Turn the PDC back on and try again.  If it's still not working, ensure the file server has the correct DNS entries on the NIC.
    I think I see what you were trying to test.  The issue is that not all DCs are equal.  Yes, they hold the same information, but some DCs do extra work.  That is why FSMOs exist.
    Let me know how it goes.

  • C7 how to access the PRIVATE folder in phone memor...

    C7-00 how to access the PRIVATE folder in phone memory?
    Meaning the folder C:\private
    With X-plore you can see the folder but it is marked as 0 kb.
    Edit: reason for this is that I had Angry Birds installed on memory C:
    Then I had changed my phones default game install memory to E: at the OVI store setup in the phone. On Monday OVI suggested that I should update the AB and so I did.
    Now it installed the new version to memory E: and all my game progress was gone.
    Just need to see if the save game still lays on C:\private\20030e51.
    Solved!

    Ah, I'm sorry - I thought it was the private folder in C drive that I had managed to get into the previous week but it was the private folder in mass storage ...

  • How do I stop extra windows or programs from opening automatically when I access my Applications folder via Finder?

    Each time I access my Applications folder via Finder, a bunch of ejectable windows or previously downloaded programs open up on the desktop. I have ejected each one or placed it in the trash, but it still happens. How do I stop this from happening?

    I asked the same question on Yahoo! Answers, and I was advised to reinstall Firefox, which I have just done (with version 3.6.8). The problem seems to be solved. Prior to doing this, I attempted to uninstall my previous version, but Control Panel wouldn't let me do this, nor would Windows Explorer allow me to send the whole Mozilla Firefox folder to the Recycle Bin. I went to Plan C, which was to delete all the subfolders in the main folder, followed by the leftover files, and finally empty the Recycle bin. Then I used Internet Explorer to download the newer version of Firefox, and installed it. No more extra home pages, so far.
