If you are a DPS Enterprise–licensed publisher you can contact your Adobe representative to request a unique Folio Producer API Key and Secret. By enabling the Folio Author module to directly connect to the Folio Producer APIs, publishers can maintain a sync status with all article content published through WordPress. Publishing through the Folio Producer APIs will streamline the WordPress folio publishing workflow by uploading the article content directly to Folio Producer. You will also need to enter the login for the DPS account you wish to publish to, along with the corresponding password.
My company use DPS Enterprise. I Can't contact Adobe representative. How to get API Key and secret ? Can anyone help me ? Thanks.

OK . now I have a dps key and secret .
I installed it in xampp , when trying to send them to the cloud DPS , this error appears .

Folio added to Folio Producer by 'delegate' account not visible to 'master' account

Hi there,
A recently created 'delegate' account has uploaded a folio to Folio Producer, the folio is visible when logged in (to FP) as that delegate account. However, when I access the Folio Producer using the master account for this DPS license, the folio doesn't show - have we misunderstood/done something wrong?

The folio is uploaded in delegat account and not in master acount.
It will only show in delegate account. If you want you can share folio with master account.

Cant get access to DPS Folio Producer

Suddenly last week I could not get access to the Folio Producer. It told me to contact support. But after having called 5 times only to be told that they will call me back - and not doing so, I hope you can help me. I was told that there is a problem with my Adobe ID?

Api for uploading folio to Folio Producer

Hi There
I am looking into whether i is possible to create a folio file and upload it to the Folio Producer without using InDesign.
1) Are there an api available for uploading folios to the Folio Producer?
- Either through a web interface or by scripting InDesign?
2) Is there any documentation available for the folio format,
If neither of theese is availble currently, are there any plans in this direction in the future?

They aren't currently available. We hope to due this in the future for integration by editorial workflow systems providers and advertising portals.

File Size Shown in Folio Producer

Is there currently a way to see the entire download file size of an app in Folio Producer? If not, this would be a helpful feature in another version of DPS, especially with the increased folio sizes with the new iPad.

I would suspect you moved the .mov file, but at some point in processing and saving things you have failed to note that the .mov file should be saved as a "self contained" movie, so that the actual movie content is left somewhere on your hard-drive. The .mov file will play on the computer, because it is pointing to the location of the content, which is accessed and used, but when you move (or try to) the .mov file, the content is left behind on the hard drive, and only the container is moved. Thus there is nothing TO play in the new location, there is just the container with no content.

Viewing Folios with DPS Folio Producer and Adobe Content Viewer on IPad?

What is the path to viewing a folio, on an IPad, that has been published with the DPS Folio Producer.
Opening Adobe Content Viewer on IPad has no obvious path to the folio in the Producer.
There is no obvious path to the library in Adobe Content Viewer, either?
Logged in both with Adobe I.D.
Using ID CS6 on Windows.
Also as a Creative Cloud single member what is the process of being able to publish unlimited apps to the IPad.

Unfortunately, if you're on Windows you have no process to publish an
app. You need a Mac.
I wish Adobe would allow Creative Cloud members to use the same process
that Pro and Enterprise subscribers have by exporting a zip file. You
still need a Mac but you can pretty much use any Mac you have access to.
With Creative Cloud to publish a Single Edition app, you must have
InDesign installed on a Mac and you generate the app by choosing create
app from the folio builder panel menu.
All that said, if you create a folio while signed into the folio builder
panel, that folio should show up in Adobe Content Viewer as long as
you're properly signed into it.

What is the best way to update a folio produced by someone else?

I need to update files that were created by someone else and have already been published in folio producer. The client has given me access to the folio via DPS folio producer. What is the best way to go about getting access to the InDesign files via Folio Producer? Or so I need to go back and get the InDesign files? Sorry if this has been addressed somewhere else recently but all the posts I have seen were older. Thanks.

I assume the folio was shared with you? If so, copy it in the folio producer so you have you own folio.
Then get the source files. You can then relink your copied folio to the InDesign files.

Problem accessing my folios

Hi,
Hope someone could help or give comment regarding this.
I want to know if anyone also experienced problem accessing their folios on the folio builder/producer.
It started since Sept 12 when Adobe posted that they are going to have Adobe DPS server migration.
During this period up to this writting, some of our folios when opened on folio builder shows this error (see attached) although others are okay.
Would appreciate any comments or input regarding this matter.

You should investigate the network scenario on your side. While the original plan for our server upgrade was on September 12, an unexpected problem caused us to delay it until this evening at 5pm Pacific time.
Try working with your IT department or ISP to see if you have something cached that is now out of date. We did not update our server endpoints on the 12th.

Need links to previous versions of Folio Producer Tools and Folio Builder

Got stonewalled trying to view a folio that had been updated using Release 18 tools on the iPad Content Viewer (2.2). So, I need to reinstall previous versions of Folio Producer Tools/Folio Builder.
I'm aware that the issue is Apple has not yet approved the latest Content Viewer (2.3). In the meantime, I need to keep plowing ahead on a previously built folio, which means using older versions of the tools.
Can anyone help with links to previous versions of the Tools and Builder?

Currently working on a folio that was started with pre-Release 18 tools. We updated tools on one computer to Release 18 this morning, made a few tweaks to a single article, then updated it to the folio.
As you predicted, Bob, we can NO LONGER VIEW the folio on our iPad Content Viewer (2.2). And our Enterprise license is still in the works so we can't build a Custom Viewer.
Anyone have a link to pre-Release 18 downloads to reinstall the old Builder panel and Producer Tools on this computer? Or any other ways to circumvent this problem?

Uninstalled Release 18 Folio Producer Tools and Folio Builder Panel. Downloaded and installed the AdobeDigitalPublishing Patch-All.dmg from here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5226
Now, when I open InDesign, I get this prompt ...
And I can no longer access Folio Builder (Window > Extensions > Folio Builder). However, the download site for the patch says that the patch includes the Folio Builder panel:

Access to office 365 api

Hi team,
i have been building up native applications and has access to Microsoft tenant in azure and there i have already the mobile application. Also i can add the webapi's to my application once when i went to configure tab and hit add on the bottom.
So from here i can add office 365 exchange online api and set the delegated permissions to required field.
Also i went through couple of articles and videos which shows how to get access to office 365 api.

As mentioned in video we add the connected service and it sign in to microsoft account and register the app.
Also add some client id to App.xaml . And when we went to tenant application page we can see the new registered app with a client id.
Please let me know if i already has the application in azure and i have added the office 365 exchange online api , then shall i need to do above steps or i can directly hit the api service Uri's.

Problems in indesign cs5.5 with extension folio producer.

I can't continue using the folio producer. Ask me to update but when i go to update only find for cs6 or cc. I found a updater to cs5.5 called adobe digitalpublishingdigitalpatch. I can upgrade but when i start folio builder and he ask to enter id of adobe like always says that server unk and dont work.
Chat from support says that cant give me support for old versions and give me a lint to the forum. Can anyone help me? Sorry for my english but is not my first language (neither second).

And dont work any more with cs5.5? I am ok that adobe dont support anymore but then why compel to upgrade to continue working in cs5.5. Let the old version working in an old version of cs. Now we are ending first quarter of course and we cant continue with class. Its a big problem.

Thumbnail View in DPS Folio Producer: Editor

Hi,
When will the thumbnail view for PDF folios become available in the DPS Folio Producer: Editor? This feature is waiting since a very long time to be implemented.
Or switch at least the behavior so the list view opens by default. Or remove the thumbnail view.

Folio Producer _Export to Desktop

Windows XP (soon to be Windows 7)
InDesign CS5.5
Fully updated.
Only downloaded Extensions for Folio Builder today.
I made a sample Folio and all went well.
Uploaded to the Folio Producer.
After some rigmarole - I got it Published.
Then I went to Export the file to the desktop...
The file finished exporting.
A temp file appeared on my computer.
Then it disappered - no file shown.
I checked hidden folders and file size of the desktop before and after export.
Nothing is being Exported.

Whatever is available on the export.
It says Export Folio to Desktop
When I click that I get a dialog box.
I click Export
And select a location
And nothing happens.

Something strange in Folio producer

I updated all my tools, but when entering the Folio Producer, all my pages are as shown in this picture. Someone help me?

Folio download file size in Folio Producer possible to view?

Is there a way to see how large in MBs a folio is inside of Folio Producer without or before you actually download it to the iPad?
