Access to iphone's Application folders on locked device

Hello!
There is a possibility to access to application's folders on iOS by software like "iPhone Explorer" even if device is locked by passcode.
So if i have one's iphone/ipad/ locked by passcode i don't know, i have a possibility to access to all data in application folders installed from App Store on the device.
There are applications saving login, password (even in plain text), photos and others in these folders. So i can copy all this unauthorized.
Dont you think it's a security issue?
PS. device is not jailbreaked!

I changed the passcode on my phone as suggested but the second computer still is able to access the phone without any form of authentication even when the phone's in the Locked status... I just plug it in via USB and the computer can see all.
Also, I never synced my phone with the second computer when I first connected it. All I did was connect the two, and then enter my passcode on the phone when iTunes told me it couldn't gain access without doing so. Once the computer had access, I disconnected the phone without doing anything else.

Ann app will not help, as no 3rd party application can affect another, so no app can lock another apps files or folders.
Apps can lock their own content, and some do include that option of putting a passcode on just them and their own files, but there is no universal feature.
If you put a passcode lock on the iPhone, then no one can get to your content.

If you have a passcode to the screen lock that you've forgotten, restore the device from the computer to which the device is synced. For information and instructions, see:

If that will not work, you'll need to put the device into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:

IPhone 3g Application: Lock/Unlock Phone?

Does anyone know of an app for iphone 3g that locks your phone when you press it? My sleep/wake button is faulty and I have to use my iphone for a week until I can go to the store to get it replaced. I can easily turn it on by pressing the home button but putting it to sleep is a hassle since the button doesn't work.
So...
Can anyone let me know of an app that locks/puts your iphone to sleep...if not, is there an easy way to develop an app like that?

Otherwise your iPhone is typically set to lock itself automatically within 1 to 2 min depending on if you made any changes.
Not aware of any actual App that will do this at this time.

Do you mean that your iPhone is locked to a carrier and you wish to unlock it to use with another carrier? Or do you mean that your SIM has a PIN or PUK code that you have forgotten or don't know?

Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device. Once this is done test the results. If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.

For the following:

It appears that when you remote lock the iPod you also provide the passcode required t unloct the iPod. You can can always unlock/use the devce again by placing the iPod in recovery mode and restore via iTunes.

HD went bad and my folders are locked. Help?!

SITUATION
Ok, I am currently booted up on an external hd of another user. My internal hd will not boot up so this is my only option. I am trying to recover/access files so that I can simply drag them on this bootable external hd so that I can in turn drag them back onto the hd that replaces this bad internal hd. Obviously I do not have a back up. I have alot of photos and various other files I want.
THE PROBLEM:
When I open the hd I see all of the folders for the users. However, the folders are LOCKED and I cannot open them nor drag them. I click on get info and check mark shared and try to change the read and write priveledges and they are grey and unable to be changed. I NEED TO KNOW how to unlock these so that I can drag these and save these.
Note: I have purchased disk warrior as well and I have rebuilt the directory on the source drive. These folders are appearing to be locked in DW preview as well.

Regarding iMac access by iPhone, especially iDisk; does it work?

I have very much appreciated starting using my .Mac account. IT IS OF SLOW ACCESS though!
Accessing .Mac from the iPhone is no pb at first: WebGallery is great, Mail in .Mac comes up OK on the iPhone - with attachments (all kinds, incl pdf).
I have a problem with iDisk though: the iPhone shows same folders as in iDisk from my MBP, i.e. Backup, Documents, Movies, Pictures, Sites, etc..., BUT THERE IS NOTHING VISIBLE IN THEM, much less accessible (meanwhile of course, docs put into iDisk on my MBP do show up in iDisk when I go to .Mac). I understand that the Sites folder might show its data in iPhone. And there are some other issues, as outlined in:

But in the end, it would be nice to pull up docs placed in those folders from the MBP. Any way around this? Otherwise, those iDisk folders are useless from the iPhone.

Thanks, Zerimar. Indeed, somewhat useless. Not a big deal, but the rest of the interface between my MBP and the iPhone, as well as the iPhone design itself, are quite wonderful. I keep trying to detect some inadequacies in that interface. Not too many!
Seems that Apple designed the iPhone to purposefully limit its online capabilities (security issues, or prevention of unnecessary troubleshooting issues, just like in the case on unlocking phones!)

MacBook Pro and iPhone both remotely wiped and locked not by me

Hi all!
So this is kind of a complicated situation I guess since Apple support couldn't help.
Last night while I was sleeping at around 5:30 A.M. I received 2 email confirmations from apple saying that I had successfully wiped both my iPhone and my Macbook. The devices worked fine until around 930 then the iPhone restarted to a new iOS5 welcoming with all my stuff gone. No problem though I just restored through iCloud. My MacBook on the other hand will not boot into the normal OS. It goes into a utilities mode with no accessible options other than a message saying "Enter your system lock PIN code to unlock this mac." along with a message from who unlocked it which says "Bilker!" I have no idea what this means or who could of done it as no one knows my iCloud login credentials, other than a potential hacker. Even if I try to reinstall the OS by booting and holding command+R it requests this PIN. If I try to boot from a disk drive it will do the same so I am at kind of a loss of what I should do.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

First, back up your HD, to save the items on your computer.
Second, visit your local Apple Store/Genius Bar. They have access to tools that should be able to fix your system problem. Bring your install disks. I believe they will ask you to clean install your HD.
Third, and almost as important, share the results on this thread. I'm certain that other users will gain knowledge from this incident.

Cannot access my iphone

I logged into iCloud then to the Find My iPhone app. As I am planning to sell my iPhone, I thought it should be deleted from iCloud so I went ahead and deleted it. Now I cannot access my iPhone cause it is reported stolen. Please advise! Thanks.

Cannot access Apple ID, and therefore cannot access reset iPhone

Okay, so I went to update my iPhone 4S to the latest software update (7.02 from 7.0 I believe). The new update downloaded, installed and as my computer went to restore my backup it asked to plug in my iPhone to my computer (which it already was). I left it for a long while and nothing happened so i disconnected it and reconnected - upon which it did a factory reset - which i was fine with because I have a back-up.
However, upon reset iTunes tells me that my phone is linked my apple ID account and displays the email address to which it is linked. I try every possible password to no avail. I then go to reset my password but Apple never send an email through to the email address in question,despite a number of attempts. I then decide to create a new Apple ID - and entered the email address for which iTunes said my phone was linked to...and it says that the address isn't in use...
I am completely stuck for what to do as i cannot currently access my iPhone.

This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Triplicate Applications Folders

Hello all, I did a search on this with no prevail.
For some unknown reason I have triplicate applications folders. They exist both in Macintosh HD and the separate "Applications" folder in file manager.
Here are two pictures of what is stated above...
What is the best way to "cut the fat" here? ...so to speak.

All your default Apple apps should be in the top-level /Applications folder, and should not be moved.
Most other apps should be placed there, too, so all users can access them.
You may also have an Applications folder in one or more User home folders. If you do, only that particular user can use it.
It looks like you've copied an entire Applications folder inside another one, and a smaller one inside that.
Sorting that all out will not be easy, but most likely you can delete the duplicates in the lower-level folders; for example, many of the ones in the second column are also in the first. The ones in the first column are probably the most current, as that's where Apple's installer expects them to be, so you can delete the ones in the second column.
What you may want to do, however, is create a new folder, in your home folder rather than in Applications. Instead of deleting the duplicate apps, move them there temporarily. Once you've got everything in the 2nd and 3rd columns moved either there or to the main Applications folder, and the two empty ones deleted, burn the temporary folder to a DVD and delete it.
If you find you've deleted something you needed, you can recover it from the DVD.

If the data is on a remote server (for example, PHP running on a web server, talking to a MySQL server) then you do this in an AIR application the same way you would do it with any Flex application (or ajax application, if you're building your AIR app in HTML/JS).
