Access to manage infospaces

Hi All ,
We are facing an issue where , when a user logs in to  BO explorer , the button for " manage infospaces" is greyed out. The user can't see the list of universe folders as well, the page is just blank. All the necessary rights to access explorer and manage infospaces have been given but still the user is facing this issue.
Does anyone what specific right is missing over here ?

Hello,
Since you have the 'management-access inside' command configured, you'll need to connect to the inside interface IP when accessing the device across a VPN, rather than the outside IP. However, you're also running into the following bug in 8.4(2):
CSCtr16184 - To-the-box traffic fails from hosts over vpn after upgrade to 8.4.2
To fix it, you should add the 'route-lookup' keyword to the end of the following NAT rules (anything that overlaps with your inside interface subnet):

    I didnt say abything about a email.
    All i need is somehow get document from opened adobe reader in internet explorer (or other browsers) and send it somewhere.
    I realize the javascript is bad way, i have access to pdf object, but i cannost send it from javascript. Javascript cant serialize the pdf object and send him to web service (no this is not email). So maybe the activex is better way, but i didnt find in adobe reader API something like getDocument() method i can call from web page.

  • No longer able to access Web Management after Firmware Update [SF200]

    Hello!
    Today I was attempting to set up SNMP on our SF200-48 switch. I realized we were running old firmware which does not support SNMP and that the most current version (1.4.0.88) does support it. I attempted to upgrade the firmware but it failed, so I decided to install the 1.1.2.0 firmware because I read that the firmware flash process has changed before 1.4
    Unfortunately, after rebooting I was no longer able to access web management on the switch. Unfortunately SF200 switches do not support CLI.
    The switch is functional and responds to ping, but I cannot get into management to do anything, is there any steps we can try or will I need to reset the switch? After resetting the switch, will I lose any configuration but still not be able to access management? We do not have any other switches to drop in place of this one, and I'd like to minimize downtime as much as possible.

    if you are sure that the ping response is coming from the switch then I guess the only thing you could try is the factory reset but you will loose all the configuration. You might call also Small Business Team and open a ticket so they will proceed with RMA if necessary:

  • Can't access Color Management options for HP 6700 under Mac OS 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion)

    Hello.
    I've got the HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One and I can't find any way to access Color Management options.
    The printer is attached (Wi-Fi) to my iMac running Mac OS 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion).
    I want to correct a magenta cast to photographs that I've printed.  I've had the magenta-cast problem under Lightroom and using Preview to print the photographs, so now I want to work with color profiles in Photoshop Elements.
    Photoshop Elements recommends that I "disable color management in the printer preferences dialog".
    However, I'm not able to find color management preferences for the 6700 in any of the settings under Mountain Lion:
    Not under (Apple) > System Preferences > Print & Scan.
    Not under (HP Utility) > Open Embedded Web Server.
    Not under (HP Utility) > Printer Settings.
    Not under Preview's print dialog.
    Nor can I find any clear direction in the online help (at HP or elsewhere) that I've read so far.
    Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Please note that in the Print dialog I get "Color Matching" not "Color Management."
    Still, I am (at this point) able to control color from Photoshop Elements, so that's good enough to proceed.

Once I close Firefox in Task Manager, I can re-start Firefox. This can happen several times in the space of a few hours?     Hi,
    ARM supports key ITGC controls for user access management, so probably audit would also cover:
    - review of updated processes & controls
    - check (based on sample) if all requests were properly approved
    - review of correctness of approvers assignment
    - verification if what was requested was provisioned
    - timely removal of terminated access
    - review of SoD controls embedded in process
    - periodic review of user access
    and maybe some more controls. In most cases it will be sample based testing so auditors may ask for a sample of requests to trace them to back-end systems and opposite sample of changes in users privileges to verify if proper requests were prepared for those changes...
    Sometimes they could perform more tests on configuration and process, but this is up to particular auditor.

  • Error 403 when accessing workflow manager page after install

    Hey,
    I'm in the process of setting up a new workflow manager farm for my SP2013 environment.
    At the moment I'm setting up the stage WFM farm which consists of only one dedicated server (meaning not running on a SP server). My live WFM farm will be made of 3 servers.
    I've followed Harbar's guide located here:
    http://www.harbar.net/articles/wfm2.aspx, and all was successfull until I tried to access the workflow page on
    https://myserver.domain.com:12290 and got a 403.
    I've checked that the Workflow Manager Backend, Windows Fabric Host Service, Service Bus Gateway and Service Bus Broker services are running.
    Get-WFFarmStatus is also showing me everything running. In IIS, app pool and site are started.
    I've tried ti access https://myserver.domain.com:12290 from the WFM machine, from a SP server and from my own laptop, same issue, I always get a 403.
    Would you know how to troubleshoot this?

    From your description, my understanding is that you got 403 error when you accessed workflow manager site.
    Please run IE as an administrator(right-click IE ->run as administrator) on the WFM server, compare the result.
    Please run the commands to check the workflow service account:
    $Farm = Get-WFfarm
    $Farm.AdminGroup
    Make sure the account has local access to the server.

  • Accessing Enteprise Manager via Cluster Scan VIP

    Hello all...
    We have a few clusters set up, and we've been accessing Enterprise Manager for these via the cluster scan IP address. For some unknown reason we now cannot access two of the three OEM installations via the scan IP, only by the IP address of the first node. Unfortunately I wasn't involved in this stage of the setup and I'm not having a lot of luck finding docs relevant to this.
    The clusters are running 11.2.0.2 Standard with the January 2012 patch set, and the nodes in the clusters with the issue don't have any problem pinging each other or the scan URL for the custer, if that's helpful.
    Can someone point me in the right direction?

    DB Control was set up independently of the database using "emca".
    The scan name in the emoms.properties file does match up with what's listed when running the "srvctl config scan" command.
    When I attempt to connect to the scan address from Node2 using the following command, I get this response:

    When you are connected to sqlworkshop, it is basically connected to the sceham owner of the workspace. If you execute the query
    select sys_context( 'userenv', 'current_schema' ), user,  username from user_users;you would see the schema and user(currently connected) and schema owner through which you have logged in. The user will have all the privileges granted to schema owner. So basically you get connected through APEX_PUBLIC_USER and it has all the privileges of the schema owner.
    In order to run scripts in another schema you would need grants on other schema same like you are connected to user A through sqlplus and wants to create objects in schema B. For example lets say you want to create a table in schema B and you have create table privileges in scehma B , you can execute command create table B.emp as select * from A.emp;

    So, I've been looking into consolidating and moving our servers and such to a colocation datacenter. A problem for me that arises from moving is, what do we do about our remote access?In a private office enviornment, I haven't ever opened up VMWare vCenter to the open internet, nor have I ever opened up DRAC/iLO past our firewall to the net. I've always just had all that management stuff hanging out on its own subnet/VLAN and I haven't ever bothered with giving remote access to anyone, really. (Well, I did once set up a windows box to allow me to RDP in and opened up the firewall for that RDP so I could then access that management VLAN from that PC)Moving to a colocation facility makes me wonder, what does everyone else do for this?     For CMD, please open Task Manager, click File and select
    Run new task. Then type CMD and select Create this task with administrative privileges option in
    Create new task wizard. Will you still encounter issue?

    I am using Azure Python SDK to perform calls to ServiceManagement APIs.
    I have a .publishsettings file generated for my account which includes an encoded version of my X509 certificate and all of my subscription IDs.
    How can I retrieve/compute an X509 certificate's thumbprint in Python?
    Following is the code snippet that helps us do it in .Net.
    Is there a similar approach to do it in Python?

  • Unable to access Skype Manager

    I've been unable to access Skype Manager for 8 days now.  My account works fine to log in regularly via the skyep app (to make calls, chat, etc), and I can even login to the skype site to change settings for that account.  I just can't get into the Skype Manager.  When I do, I see an error message (screenshot below) either after I'm prompted for my login credentials, or immediately upon clicking the Skype Manager link if I'm already logged in.
    When I chat or email Skype support, they either claim that it's working fine, or they say that a "specialized department" (they always refuse to name the department when I ask) will take care of it and email me.  The email invariably arrive a couple of days later telling me that everything is working fine, and if for some reason it's still not working, I should contact Skype chat support.
    I tried reaching out to Claudius at @SkypeSupport via twitter and all I got back from him were these two non-specific and not-helpful tweets:

  • Accessing Tomcat Manager Via URLConnection

    Does anyone know how to access Tomcat Manager using URLConnection? or Can it be done at all?
    I'm using URLConnection, javax.mail.authenticator, and javax.mail.PasswordAuthentication. It seems that I can get to the correct URL, but the servlet can't get pass thru the login dialog box(username ,password)
    for example if you're using Tomcat 5 and type http://localhost/manager/reload?path=/, this will prompt you a login dialog box and if you enter correct username and password with manager role, tomcat will reload the ROOT web application
    I want to get pass that login box, but my servlet doesn't seem to work.

    The manager application uses basic authentication. Therefore, you need to add a header to the request you make to the manager URL. Below is an example:
