Access to SAP Lumira cloud fails
Hi,
I am trying to share the data set & visulizations created in Lumira to the SAP Lumira cloud. When I try to publish to Cloud; I always get a warning message"Session could not be opened" (as attached) during logon. I have never been able to go past this.
However my Lumira cloud account is valid and I am able to successfully logon to https://cloud.saplumira,com
Please let me know the reason behind this session logon error.
Thanks,
Sreedev
Hi,
I see this a lot :
new Lumira Cloud account - works ok over a browser
new Lumira desktop install - Cloud account login doesn't work ... wrong password etc
How to solve this ? it's quite easy actually:
Use a browser like Chrome.
access the Cloud URL . Do NOT click login (i.e. to accept the token) -> click Cancel instead .
this gives you the option to enter a user/pwd manually.
Click "reset password"
get your new password via email.
Login to cloud Manually.
Login to Desktop Manually.
it will work.
regards,
H

Connecting SAP Lumira Cloud to SAP BO Mobile 5.1 for Android Device
Hi All,
I created a report in SAP Lumira Personal edition, uploaded it to SAP Lumira Cloud free edition and now want to access it with the SAP BO Mobile on my Android device which I downloaded from Google PlayStore.
Logging into SAP BO Mobile I see 'Import from Server' option where I entered the lumira cloud address https://cloud.saplumira.com because this is where my report resides which I want to see in my hand held.I see some certificate errors and I have no idea how to go about this.
Any suggestion would be of great help.
Reply Awaited.
Regards
NiyatiSo when I initially land on cloud.saplumira.com
I get a Site Security Certificate is not trusted. Chrome on PC doesn't throw this, only on my Androids.
Proceed Anyway
Press Log On button
A window comes up saying No Certificates Found
Asking to install a certificate from PKCS#12 file with .pfx or .p12 extension..
if you hit Install...window pops up again.. and again.. Chrome is expecting there to be a local file to install.. which there is not.
Hit Cancel
You get the Log On panel... and it goes through.

SAP Lumira Cloud connection on iPad
Dear gurus
I am trying to set up an iPad connection to the SAP Lumira Cloud through the SAP Mobile App version 6.1.18
I can create the connexion. I know that my log in information works as I can log in through the web browser, but using the iPad app, I just get the following error:
Unable to connect to the server MOB 06301 HTTP 417
I just have a Free Edition account. Is there any limitation for that kind of account for iPad access ?
PYHello Pierre - I am getting the same error using Mobi iOS
There is a similar note here http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2126696
Would you mind opening an Incident with SAP Support? I'll keep looking but I am seeing the same as you.

Drilldown functionnality not available on safari or SAP mobile app for Lumira Cloud
Dear gurus,
We tried some demonstrations on SAP Lumira cloud.
Thanks to the new app we can now connect through the iPad. But, the drilldown functionnality does not appear from the screen, we have to go to the explore option of the graphs to get the functionnality.
Have you also experienced that ?
PYHi Boris
Thanks for the feedback. Just to clarify.
In a regular web browser on a PC, the drill down option is available directly from the graph
On an iPad, from the web browser or from the app, we need to use first the exploration view to get the drill down option
From an end user point of view, this is not very easy to get. The message currently marketed by SAP is that the behaviour is the same whatever the user interface is used thanks to HTML5 at least...Most of the users will think there is a difference and it might stop them using the tool especially compared to other vendors options
I will post an idea to idea.sap.com
Thanks

How do I get access to Mobile documents admin console login with SAP HANA Cloud cockpit?
Hi All,
I am trying to launch SAP Mobile Documents from my trail version of SAP HANA Cloud.
The Help link which I had followed via link:
https://help.hana.ondemand.com/help/frameset.htm?dc618538d97610148155d97dcd123c24.html#concept_0B49F10346C94249845EC16364FFF66D_76
In SAP Cloud HANA Cockpit Using the link available in Authorization>Authorization Management
I had created an user assigned to a Group, and Group has been assigned to a Role ODP-OPERATOR,
Next step, when I am trying to assign a token, I could not able find a token. How to get a token from here?
My intention of creating user, group, role and token is for getting access to Mobile documents admin console.
However I have also tried to access the mobile documents admin console via link
https://smd-p1886950994trial.hana.ondemand.com/mcm/admin
When I browse the above link, It shows HTTP 503 the requested service is not currently available.
I am not sure, How to get access Mobile documents Admin page from here
Could someone clarify on this please?
Regards,
Saravanan.RHi,
I have managed find an answer from this link SAP Mobile Documents on SAP HANA Cloud saying, SAP Mobile documents trial is not available in SAP HANA Cloud cockpit.

Lumira Server on SAP HANA Cloud Platform?
Hi,
Can we run Lumira Server on SAP HANA Cloud Platform (not SAP HANA)?
Reason:
Unless there is a way to publish Lumira Story via Lumira Cloud to BI LaunchPad, otherwise I am only interested in the Lumira Desktop version at the moment. As we want to continue to pursue to have one central portal for all BI contents using BI LaunchPad.
Question:
In summary, is it possible to apply SAP Lumira Server on SAP HANA Cloud Platform?
See screenshots below for the ideal scenarios.Hi Ken,
Great question.
Yes, absolutely you can.
As an example: I work with some customers who have small Hana estates "on-premise" (say, for Fraud on Hana, or BW HANA sidecar); as such they may not have the available infrastructure to decouple a sandbox Hana to evaluate new Hana Analytics innovations (like Lumira Server)
In such situations I recommend this page http://hcp.sap.com/platform.html to evaluate our Hana Cloud platform options.
If you scroll half-way down, you'll see a nice graphic under the heading "Choose the Service That's Best for You". (the 3 stacked pillars)
Depending on your own licensing particulars, you may already have a runtime license for Lumira Server (through your BI bundle), and you may already have HDB (database) licenses available in your enterprise, so potentially you need only the 'infrastructure service' (leftmost chart).
Then, I've seen this integrated into productive on-premise systems, typically (but optionally) via a "leased line" (between customer & provider (SAP)) , and a VPN tunnel in between to make the secure bridge.
It's a really neat way to get on the Hana journey: quick to deploy, flexible, and well priced.

Publish Dataset and history in sap lumira server
Hi Experts
I'm trying to publish a dataset and story from the sap Lumira desktop to Lumira server.
Tools used
SAP HANA DATABASE REV.80 INSTANCIA EN WINDOWS AZURE
SAP LUMIRA DESTOP V1.18
SAP LUMIRA SERVER V1.18
The process I followed is as follows:
1. Create Users:
CONFIG: Assign the role sap.bi.admin :: BI_CONFIGURATOR. Some other role or privilege required?
TECNICO: Assign the role sap.bi.common :: BI_TECH_USER. Some other role or privilege required?
ANALISTA: Assign the role sap.bi.common :: BI_DATA_ANALYST. This user is the one that has the role to publish in Lumira sap server. Some other role or privilege required?
2. Entry to http: // <HOSTNAME> 80 <INSTANCE> / sap / hana / xs / FormLogin /
I sign in with the password created in hana studio for each user and then make the change the password of each user CONFIG - TECNICO – ANALISTA
3. Entry to http://<HOSTNAME>:80<INSTANCE>/sap/bi/launchpad/fiori
I sign in with the user CONFIG and in the catalag administration of sap Lumira server income in the field Enter technical user TECNICO, so I confirm the sql connection.
4. Entry to http: // <HOSTNAME> 80 <INSTANCE> / sap / hana / xs / admin
I sign in with the user CONFIG sap.bi.launchpad.logic.v2 following path of the package and confirm that the sql connection is for the user TECNICO
5. Entry to Sap lumira Desktop, sign in with the user ANALISTA to access the dataset, I create visualization and history, the last step is to publish the dataset and story in SAP Lumira server, for this I sign in with the user ANALISTA but when I clic on the button PUBLISH IN SAP LUMIRA SERVER is show me this error:
Error - The dataset could not be published to SAP Lumira Server because publishing to the SAP HANA layer failed. Reason is ''. (HDB 11009)
I searched many blogs of sap and tested with the following options but None of the above helped me to solve the problem.

http://scn.sap.com/community/lumira/blog/2014/06/16/sap-lumira-server-post-install-configuration
6. Another issue is when I access to Lumira server http: // <HOSTNAME> 80 <INSTANCE> / sap / bi / launchpad / and I sign in with the user ANALISTA, I find a number of the dataset in lumira server but when I run any for create a compose can not access hana dataset.
Shows me the following error
Please help me with this issues
ThanksHi John,
I also forwarded the incident to SAP and as suggested by SAP, after assigning sap.hana.xs.lm.roles::Administrator my issue was resolved.

Unable to connect to SAP Hana cloud platforfm trial server
Hi Experts,
I am going through open sap course on SAP Hana cloud platform. I need to deploy the first sample "Hello World" Application in SAP hana trial server. As per the instructions mentioned in course , I have tried to connect trial server through eclipse and facing a error which says "
Unknown SAP HANA Cloud Platform host was provided. Check whether the host is correctly spelled."
Referred blog SAP HCP openSAP course guide week 1 and tried to change the network connections using Windows-> Preference-General-Network. Used Direct/Native/Manual options and I still have the same issue.
Screenshot for reference:
System details: Eclipse Kepler 4.3
Jre 1.6
Windows 7 32 bit
Hope the detail is sufficient to analyze the issue. Please share your thoughts.
Thanks!Tried to make use of SAP HaNA administration console perspective in eclipse. Creation of cloud system results in new set of log errors. Not sure if this can give any clue about the rootcause of issue

Custom extensions in Lumira Cloud?
Hi,
I'm using Lumira Personal Edition. I've successfully used custom extensions, as detailed in tutorials like this one. However, when I upload a story with custom extensions to my free Lumira Cloud account, the extensions aren't available, and the chart is blank. Is there a way to get around this? Or would I need access to Lumira Server, or Lumira Cloud Enterprise edition?Hi,
Extensions are supported only with Lumira desktop and Lumira Server. Lumira Cloud support is coming soon.
If you are interested in extensions support for Lumira Server, you can refer to post by our product team colleague Christina here SAP Lumira Server: Managing extensions.

I'M FED UP WITH NO BEING ABLE TO ACCESS MY ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD SOFTWARE.
I subscribed to 1 year with Adobe Creative Cloud more than a year ago. I got a discounted price of $29.99 per month instead of the normal $49.99 per month, because I qualified being that I had previously purchased and installed Adobe Creative Design Suite 4. I thought it a great idea to have all the software that the Adobe Cloud offered. A few months into that yearly subscription, I had been using Adobe Muse which was wonderful because I could actually create websites without knowing a bit of code. Yes, I was designing one site and had major difficulty and failed to publish many times. No fear, because a very king gentleman on Adobe Support named Zak did all his best and gave a great amount of attention to resolving this problem. While building that website my client lost patience with me in that I could not publish what the client wanted within reasonable time period because of all these failures in publishing and time in between each staggered resolve periods. I lost that client and ended up with a live website with a great deal of my artwork collected and established there. I decided to keep that website active if nothing more than to present it as a portfolio of sorts. Apparently, Zak, understood my disappointment with losing this client and actually provided me with a years, 12 months subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. This was wonderful for me and I accepted it graciously. So a year’s subscription proceeded month by month. Unfortunately every month I was subject to having to reaffirm the license for this yearly subscription! I began what ended up to be having to contact support each month for assistance in doing so. For without reactivating this yearly license each month I was subject to interruptions in accessing the software's usage or unable to use it at all. Major frustration...So come the nearing end of this Adobe Creative Cloud's subscription I contacted Adobe Support to voice my complaints on having to do this every month and once again get the subscription activated in order to use my software. This one support technician was giving me a difficult time for some reason and broke our telephone conversation many times as it was necessary for him to update himself with my file??? He came back to me astonished to find 12 months credit and asked me where did I acquire these freebies and on and on. He wanted proof that I had gotten these credits legally even though I reiterated the true story of benefiting from Zak's kindness. He wanted me to provide proof of the letter giving me all these credits and I told him I could and would. But he wanted to keep me on the phone for any duration until I could search my documents and find this letter and show it to him. I told him that I did not have time to search for it that moment and I could provide it later? He was really reluctant to allow this but eventually he requested I post this letter as proof onto my support ticket? Which I got around to do soon after. When posting that proof I asked to be given extra time on the subscription for being so to suspected of fraud? I asked for the hell of it a year or 2 more for Christ's sake? You know what, my support post has yet to be answered and actually I see that it was dismissed to no fault of mine. You haven't heard the most of what I went thru every month with this year’s subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. Yes, I'm pissed because now they are wanting me to spend $49.99 every month for another year’s subscription? Besides now the Creative Design Suite 4 that I had originally purchased as a full legal copy and acted to provide me with the original $29.99 discount qualification, they say is an OEM copy and does not qualify for the discount... What! Give me a break Adobe? I do not like being treated this way and must state the story as true, which it is, here in this forum. Thanks for listening. Sincerely, John Williams
As of today, Sunday, November 3rd, 2013, I'm still blocked from accessing my ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD SOFTWARE! I have submitted screenshots and whatever else to Adobe Support and have had no contact. I get a message that states it cannot go online to renew, confirm, update my subscription and therefore I can't access my software. Do you know how long this has been goping on now and how many times i've been interrupted from using this software over the last year?????Most of us in this forum are users who volunteer on technical issues, and not Adobe employees although they do drop in from time to time. As users we simply have no control over activation and that's why you are not getting responses.
If you havn't done so,you might try the Muse forums and see if you can get a staff member to look into it. Have your case numbers and phone transcripts handy.
Last option is to keep calling customer service until you get someone who will help or ask for a supervisor.
Hope this get resolved,
