Access to Setup- Notification Methods without any Pack?

Hello,
I try to configure E-Mail notification in EM GC 10.2.0.4, but it is unaccessible after deactivating all purchasable packs.
("Notification Methods" under Tab "Setup" is deactivated).
Do I need to buy a Management Pack for configure and use an E-Mail notification?

ok, I need management pack...
But one is strange - why I get E-Mail for metric "Audited User" == SYS from metric category "User Audit",
but dont get any E-Mail for metrics from "Dump Area" category?
I would have expected that in both cases no email is sent ...

There's a good tutorial from Howard Rogers on howto setup your own SMTP Server.

Also, do not use HOTMAIL for testing as it does not accept mail send to it using port 25
which it consider as spam.
I use it to test EM Notifications using Oracle 10g on my notebook on Windows XP.

I'm trying to access a forum that requires a user name and password. When I do it on my mac it tells me the password is incorrect but when I do it on my iPad, I can access it without any problem. I can confirm the username and password are the same

I am trying to access a forum for which you need a username and password but it keeps telling me the username/password i've entered are incorrect. Bizarrely, when I enter the same username/password combination on my iPad, it grants access without any problem.
What could be causing this, is it an issue with cookies, caches or similar. How can I resolve it? The forum administrator is at a loss as to what the problem is.

Try the following steps in Safari to see if they help:
1) First try clearing the Safari cache. To do this pull down the Safari menu and select 'Empty cache...', then try logging into the site again.
2) If the issue continues then reset Safari by pulling down the Safari menu and select'Reset Safari...'. You will be presented with a list of items that can be reset. I suggest selecting the 'Reset saved names and passwords', and 'Remove all website data' options at a minimum.
Here is a list of the options and what they do. I pulled it from the Safari help page.
Clear history:
Clears the list of webpages you viewed.
Reset Top Sites:
Clears any changes you made to Top Sites, such as adding or pinning sites. If you also clear your history, your Top Sites page reverts to showing the webpage previews displayed when you first installed Safari.
Remove all webpage preview images:
Clears any thumbnail images Safari saved of webpages you viewed.
Clear the Downloads window:
Clears the list of files you downloaded from websites. Only the names are removed; the files themselves are still on your disk until you remove them.
Remove all website icons:
Removes website icons, which are small graphics that help identify sites on the Internet. You see them in the Safari address field and bookmarks list, and other places. These icons are stored on your computer.
Remove saved names and passwords:
Removes user names and passwords that Safari automatically fills in at websites that require them (if the AutoFill feature is turned on).
Remove other AutoFill form text:
Removes some personal information, such as telephone numbers, that Safari uses to automatically fill in forms on webpages (if the AutoFill feature is turned on). Removing AutoFill information does not remove information from your address book.
Close all Safari windows:
If you don’t close all Safari windows, someone could use the Back and Forward buttons to view the webpages you visited.
Reset all location warnings:
Clears any information websites saved about your location.
Remove all website data:
Removes cookies, tracking information, and other data that websites stored on your computer.

The Creative Cloud versions can be installed offline but you need an Internet connection to activate the installed applications, I also believe Adobe has recently made the Creative cloud desktop application an mandatory install. It need not be running at all times however it will be installed.

Thanks for your reply. I don't use itunes so that couldn't be it. Reading about Little Snitch and Hands Off, however, educated me about the data harvesting in many apps and that when buying from the AppStore one will more likely get Apps with benign data harvesting.

i was surfing browsing and downloading on my iphone 4 on my home wifi and other places without any problem but today i found out that even though i'm connected to my wifi i got no internet access. i also got this new problem, my led flash is on. if i tilt the device the flas dims a bit. i tried switching off the device but still the flash is on. i tried using at other wifi network same problem. i tried forget this network, switching off and turning on the device i also tried reseting the network and also hard reseting the device. but still same problem. what can i do about this? and if i send it to apple what are my options? i got warrant coverage so will they be able to repair it ? if they are not able to repair then will they give me new iphone 4 or refurbished iphone 4 for replacement?

Apple does not repair devices. If they are covered under warranty, the device is replaced. You will not get a new phone, you will get a service unit which is as good as if not better than new.
If all the basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide has been done and the device does not get Internet access via Wi-Fi from multiple locations, the only thing left is to take it to Apple.

Random price increase without any prior notification

I was under the distinct impression that I was locked in for the same price for a full year. How come Adobe can just raise the price from Student / Teacher $19.95 to $32.00 without any prior notification? Many people were suspicious on a subscription format but I defended Adobe on this thinking that it was great deal. Some of those suspicions are now coming true as Adobe raised the price. We are locked in and cannot use any of the software unless we pay, it’s not like before when we had the software and could choose to upgrade whenever we wanted. Adobe really got us this time.

Hm, good suggestion, but I've actually already done this (and I've had a friend go through the steps with me). There is just NOTHING that is showing up under any of the categories in the cloud for downloading. The thing is, I'm just not sure if I enabled cloud-sharing or not on my iphone (although I know I've backed up my data through cloud on my iphone at some point).
Any other suggestions?

I maybe jumping the gun here. Can anyone tell me that can this new feature of iOS5 work without any form of network.
What I mean is if I got AppleTV 2 , and iPad2, can I jsut stream what is on my iPad to AppleTV that is connect to a TV, without a Wif-fi or ehternet netork.
I search on the internet look like all the situation is that they still want inernet access for AppleTV, but in my case if there is no internet access for my AppleTV is fine, as I only want to stream what is on my iPad to a TV.

IF you have a Mac you can use that to create a network, turn on Wifi, under the Wifi tab click "create network"... give it a name... WEP encryption if you like... and voila you have a wifi network that your iPad and apple TV should be able to see and use without needing to connect to the internet.
