Access to tcode PFTC

Hi expert,
One of user needs access to tcode PFTC - General Task Maintenance in production.
Is this tcode is a critical or not?
Could anyone help on this?
Thanks,
Santosh

Hi,
did you ask him why he needs this transaction? I can see at least one issue. You can maintain agent assignment for tasks in this transaction. So you can affect which users will receive tasks to their workflow inboxes. So this can be risky especially for approval workflows.
Cheers

  • BADI not access in tcode BP

    Hi Experts,
I want to check for duplicate entries in tcode BP in CRM2007. I searched forums and most links specify bupa_addr_check. I created an implementation for this BADI and I am not able to access it. The implementation is active.
I put an external breakpoint in class cl_exithandler in the method get_instance to know the badis/exits being called. Badi bupa_addr_check is not called.
Is there some other way that I have to activate this badi?
    Regards,
    Abdullah Ismail

    Hi Abdullah,
There may some other active BADI implementation for bupa_addr_check.
So just go to se84 -> Enhancements -> Business Add-ins -> Implementation -> give bupa_addr_check in Definition Name.
You will get all the implementation for that BADI.
Now go to se19 and Deactivete all the other implementations.
    Then again active your implementation.
    Then it should work.
I hope this will help you.
    Reward points, if useful.
    Regards,
    Nitin.

  • How to avoid multiple users to access same tcode

    Hi all,
Am creating one z tcode to display the material details for the particular reservation number. How can  I avoid multiple users to access the same tcode simultaneously. If anybody works over that tcode then no other user should be able to access the same tcode until or unless the first user works over it.
    Regards,
    Ramya

    HI,
you can even use import and export logic and check if user has entered the transaction ..

  • No Tcode Auth, but user is able to access the tcode

    Hello All-
we recently upgraded from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
we have an issue, where the user in not authorized to Tcode ME43 in any of the roles / profiles that are assigned to him.
Interestling he is able to work with that tcode in 4.6C & now in ECC 6.0
Checked table AGR_1251 table for each role the user has... no luck.
There are about 20 Ztcodes assined in one of the roles.
Is there a possibility that one of the Ztcode calling ME43 ?
If yes, how do i figure it out?
Is there a possibility that a SAP std.tcode internally calling ME43?
If yes, how do i figure it out?
What could be the other chances???
Note: profiles like SAP_ALL  etc are given to the user. He has the profiles that are generated from the roles that are assigned.
    No extra.
    Thanks in advance.
    VJ

Interestling he is able to work with that tcode in 4.6C & now in ECC 6.0
Is the user able to run the transaction ME43 directly ?
If yes, i would check the roles for S_TCODE object in SUIM.
Is there a possibility that one of the Ztcode calling ME43 ?
If yes, how do i figure it out?
Is there a possibility that a SAP std.tcode internally calling ME43?
If yes, how do i figure it out?
Yes, you can find what all tcodes call ME43.
    1. Go to SE93, enter transaction code ME43
    2. Click "Where-used", deselect all except "Transaction"
    3. Execute it, this will give you list of all transactions calling ME43.
I would recommend copying them in an excel sheet and doing a vlookup to see out of the "about 20 ztcodes" which are calling ME43

  • Reg Re-authentication for Tcode access

    Dear All,
I want to enable Re-authentication for certain tcode access in my SAP ABAP system. The SAP as such supports this with the SSF settings. I have the SSF working but am not sure how to enable the particular tcode for Re-authentication.For example i have created a z code zAl08 out of Al08 for test purpose. When an user tries to access zAL08 he should be asked to give his credentials for authentication and then should be able to access the tcode.
1.Is this possible. (am already using a Security product working properly in my environment)
2.How to configure(Steps) the zcode for enabling Re-authentication?
    Regards,

    Basically, what I said was:
    function auth_check_tcode.

    *"     VALUE(TCODE) LIKE  TSTC-TCODE
    *"  EXCEPTIONS

nicht für die Prüfung vor dem Call Transaction gedacht, sondern für
die Fälle, in denen ein Start Transaction geprüft werden soll,

  • How can we call Tcode from the Portal?

    Senario:
    2 BAPI’s are developed:
    1. The information say... ABC is stored into the table from the portal using the Create BAPI.
    2. The change in this ABC information is done using a particular <b>Tcode</b> …say xyz. This is a report that calls the change BAPI inside.
The ABC information change will be done either through the Tcode in ECC or through the EP.
    3. The Tcode has been created in ECC.
Please let me know who will be responsible to call this tcode from the Portal and how?
I am very very new to EP field so please help...

    Hi Jignesh,
If you have already performed these steps and are able to see the iview that you have created. Then I think your issue has been sorted out.
To explain it to you in detail.
Let us suppose, you have created a SAP Transactional iview to access the TCODE-SE38.
Now, as soon as the user clicks on the iview, it will authenticate by asking for the username and password for the backend system...if your SSO is not in place.
Now, if your asking me how to make the iview visible.
You can add assign this SAP transactional iview to a page,a workset or a role and add the corresponding page, workset or role to the user in USER ADMINISTARTION by making it an entry point.
Or to make the iview as an entry point, right click on the iview that you have created and open the properties, then for the option that says entry point choose yes.
I guess that answers your question.
Let me know if you have need any further clarifications on the same.

  • How to restrict FBL1N only to display access

    Hi,
I need some help in restricting access for FBL1N.   The requirement is the user should be able to only display the vendor items  for the given opcos.  I created a test role for this tcode and maintained the activity for all the auth objects to 03.   But still user is able to change the vendor details.   When ran trace, it was showing the access to Tcode FB02.  but not sure how the test user is getting this access as the test role does not contain FB02 and user does not have any other role. Please advise

Despite the SAP_ALL removing the authorization problem.... I would like to enquire about this post.
Can you please explain each of the statements you have made and provide some evidence?
If the user has the correct authorizations then they are are wrong and the "check" and "check/maintain" status has no impact on the coding in customer type systems.

  • Company code problem in Controlling area Tcodes

    Hi All,
We are following role based authorisation for creating roles for FI/CO module and we are seggregating roles as per the company codes. We are assigning Tcodes like KO01,KO02,KO03(Internal order) and KS01,KS02,KS03(cost center) which are connected with Controlling area in one role.We have 5 company codes and we are trying to create 5 roles with the above Tcodes for 5 different company codes.
The problem we encountered is when we entered the Tcodes in the role, and we get to the 'Change authrisation data' option in the 'Authorisation' tab in PFCG, the system is not prompting for the Company code organisational level. Hence in this case, a user will be able to access the above mentined Tcodes for all the company codes. But we need to create a role in such a way that a user who is assigned this role is only able to access Tcode like KO01,02,03 etc for his company code only and should not be authorized to access these Tcodes for remaining 4 company codes.
Can anybody please help me with a way to restrict these Tcodes to a particular company code in our scenario.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Abdul Khyoom A.

    Hi Ashok,
    Thanks for the response.
Here in my case, when I insert the Tcodes related to conrolling like(KO01,KO02,KO03 etc) in a role, then I dont find any authorization objects(bukrs) which is related to the company code in the authorization genaration area in PFCG. So there is no way I can maintain values in them.
    Please suggest any alternate solution.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Abdul Khyoom A

  • Report for a Tcode

Is it possible to generate the report when someone make changes to any transaction code say OB08?

Sorry for making it not clear.
    Please find the below situation.
OB08 is a Tcode for changing Exchange Rates. One of our user requires that he should know whenever any other user changes the rates using this Tcode.
Please note that there are many users access the Tcode other than this person.
    Thanks for your Understanding

  • Lock a tcode for particular user

    Hi Experts
i need to lock few transaction for particular users only. we have n number of roles and the transactions have been assigned to some tcodes to be reasticted  for a list of users. is there any method or program to built to restrict the users for few tcodes.is there any more query pl trigger me
    regards
    bala

    hi
    sagar:
as you said if i start creating roles to restrict some users then there atleast 25 tcodes are there to restrict and 120 roles are to be analyzed and the job becomes hefty by creating roles and there will too many number of roles and it becomes confusion in future forecast. there fore i nedd any suggestion like that the userscan be restricted when they are trying to access that particular code or lock the screen or inform them to not access these tcodes thro some message or writing a program to restrict the users while the user exits. i have an idea but i dont know how it will work - ( I am not a ABAPER) there should be tcode or program which should list tcodes authorized for particular users and where they can be locked like SM01 ( but it will lock for all) but locking for particular users
    Am i more advanced??

  • Roles required for accessing BBPGETVD Transaction

    Hi
Can any one help me what are the required roles to be assigned to a user to access the tcode BBPGETVD.
I mean I wanted access the BBPGETVD transaction . what are the roles that i need to assign myself so that i can use that tcode.
    Regards
    Sairam
Edited by: Sai Ram on Jun 18, 2008 1:13 PM

    Hi Sai,
As far as I have seen more than the transactions, the jobs associated with the transactions are used.
Also, the replication is done by the administrator of the system, which means either SAP_ALL or SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR.
I suggest you to run the associated jobs for the 2 transactions BBPGETVD and BBPUPDVD . Following are the jobs associated
    BBPGETVD     BBP_VENDOR_GET_DATA_JOB
    BBPUPDVD     BBP_VENDOR_UPDATE_DATA_JOB
    thanks,

  • 1 Auth. Object - 2 TCodes - Need 2 different actions?

    Hello All,
I have 2 transactions ( IDX1 & IDX2) which works with authorization code "S_IDOCMETA".  I need to have different access levels set for these two transactions. For example, I need only display access for IDX1 tcode and I need full access for tcode IDX2. How shall I go about it. As its only one auth. object if I give full action, both tcodes are getting effected. Thanks in advance. Any help will be rewarded.
    Regards,
    Farooq.

    Hi,
    First the easier method.
Create two separate roles for these two transactions and add necessary auth values in the S_IDOCMETA. But the problem with this method is that once u assign both the roles to the end users then they will again end up having higher access for the two authorizations avaialable for S_IDOCMETA.
Second method is using custom auth object in place of S_IDOCMETA having all the fields of it and a field TCD transaction code in addition and place a check for this auth object in the transaction codes this is another solution which might be useful but u need to take the help of a ABAPER to get this done..
    Hope this helps

Is there anypossible way to access RSA1 from our client 500 or we have to do it through 000.Is it right to create and assign a logical system to his master client.
    Thanks in advance.

It is possible to change the predefined client (000) from a table.[Check this Picture|http://images.howtoforge.com/images/screenshots/f39801270a65dab6bcdd87228c22d028-2020.png] Run SE16  Data Browser and enter the RSADMINA as table name. Select BW in the CUSTOMIZID field, in the next screen, select the table row and click on Change, then enter 500 in the BWMANDT field and Save, restart the server and then you will be prompted to define logical system. Just enter the neccesary fields. You may rollback the whole operation to change back to original client in future. I hope it helps.
