Access to US TV shows

I'm in Australia and am attempting to download a recent US TV Show (True Blood Season 3 episode 1 and so on...) but am unable to locate it on iTunes.
Could you tell me: 1. why i cant download recent TV shows from the US; 2. If this episode is available; and 3. why i can't download the show??

There are (depending on your definition) about 195 countries in the world, there are seven continents in the world, there are six geographic DVD regions, and there are three Blu-Ray geographic regions, there is however only one Internet. Despite this, the TV and Film studios persist in the stupidity of restricting sales of their products based on geographic location.
Hence unfortunately it is often the case that people trying to legally purchase TV programmes or Films are often frustrated and may have no legal source for obtaining a copy, as you have seen not all titles are (legally) available in all countries. This obviously does not help reduce illegal copying!
To further illustrate the stupidity of this, there are now companies whose sole business is running VPN gateways for the sole purpose of bypassing 'Geo-IP' restrictions. These companies would not even exist if not for this counter-productive restriction. Blu-Ray titles are even specifically advertised as being 'region free' (if applicable) so as to encourage more sales. Even the perpetrators of this insanity are often schizophrenic about it as witnessed by the fact that one the one hand Sony are one of the worst offenders in pushing this region madness, and yet on the other Sony also sell DVD region free players designed to bypass it!
The computer industry has mostly avoided this mistaken approach (unless like the iTunes Store they have to deal with the nutters in the media industry), but unfortunately the Games console industry has whole heartedly embraced it. (Surprise, surprise, Sony are also a big player in the Games console industry.)

I I can no longer access my purchased TV shows that are in the Cloud

After installing ITunes 11.1, I can no longer access my purchased TV shows that are in the Cloud. I have opened Preferences, went to store to see if the box is checked for displaying items that are in the cloud and this is in order. Still can't access these shows.

I experienced the same issue. I am familiar with it from previous versions of iTunes and located the correct "Show iTunes Purchases in the Cloud" checkbox on your screen capture. Wasn't on mine. I decided to reinstall iTunes 11.0.1 and, as you can see from my screen grab, it is there now. Problem solved.

Solution Manager 4.0/When accessing services as ex. showing graphic in Proj

We have just upgraded from Solution Manager 3.1 to 4.0. When accessing services as ex. showing graphic in Projects, tab graphics shows: " Service cannot be reached.
What has happened?
URL http://dnismpa.danisco.com:1080/sap/bc/solman/defaultUser/graphic/solmangraphic.htm call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.".
Services activated as told in IMG/Activate Solution Manager Services. Service user created as in IMG/Create Service User for HTTP access. Alias created as in IMG/Create Alias for Business Server Pages and Create Alias for Document Manager Service.
Please, can anybody advise on this issue. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes a simple power cycle of your Apple TV and router can resolve this issue. If those steps do not resolve the issue, take a look at the attached two sections below.

How to access iCloud movies/tv shows in iTunes 11.1

The iCloud icon recently disappeared and is not showing up next to my apple ID at all so I can't access the movies/tv shows previously purchased by Apple TV or iPhone 4S to stream it to my computer. The only way is to download it and I don't want to do that. Is there any way to reestablish the connection?

Open iTunes Prefs > Store and select the option for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases."
For some reason this option seems to get unselected.

Access Points do not show in CDP neighbor

Hi All,
Last night I was performing mainteance on access points throughout the network. I was converting them from Local to H-REAP to allow for vlan support. The maintenance went well however afterwards I've noticed access points are not showing up in CDP neighbor and with a "show power inline" the access points shows as a IEEE PD. This is causing some weird issues where a client can connect but then will lose it's DHCP address. The problem happened on 9 of the 12 floors that I did this on and there is no configuration differences and bouncing the access points did not resolve the issue. The access points do show a blue light.
Has anyone ever experienced this before? If so what did you do to fix it?
I have a mix of 1131 and 1142N access points on a 4402 WLC running version 6.0.188.0.

I see all the time.
"sh cdp neigh" shows nothing and "sh power inline" shows the port connected to the WAP as "IEEE". This is mostly caused by faulty cabling. If you have the right Cisco switch, you can test the cable using the in-built TDR feature.
Here's how you do it:
1. Command: test cable tdr interface
2. Wait for about 5 to 7 seconds;
3. Command: sh cable tdr interface
4. Please post the complete output.

Unable to Access Internet Despite Adapter Showing "Connected".

Hi, I have a Lenovo "G"-Series notebook, Type 4446-38U which has suddenly stopped allowing me to access my internet connections. The PC is only about a month old. It is running XP Professional.
I have three connection options: 1) dial-up (using an onboard HDAudio Soft Data Fax Modem with Smart CP); 2) ethernet or Local Area Connection (using an onboard Broadcom Netlink Fast Ethernet); and 3) wireless (using an onboard Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN) -- none of these components are showing that they have conflicts/problems in the System Properties/Device Manager.
At my home, which is located in a rural area where I can only get dial-up, I tried checking my e-mail last week (with Mozilla Thunderbird), but received an error notice stating that the e-mail server could not be found; it was the same issue, when I tried to get Norton virus updates (Internet Security 2009), XP updates on the Microsoft website (using Microsoft Updates with Internet Explorer), and simply accessing the web (using Mozilla Firefox) -- i.e., "Server Not Found." The odd thing is that I can not only hear the connection being made by the modem, but can also see that the device is 'Connected', when I check the connection in Control Panel/Network Connections. The following day at my office, I checked the other connection options (ethernet & WiFi), and found that I had the same problem -- i.e., they were shown as "Connected" in Control Panel/Network Connections, but I was unable to access anything on the web (e.g., e-mail, Google, virus/Microsoft updates, etc.). It's as if there is something blocking the internet connection to these programmes/utilities.
When I ran the Microsoft Networking Troubleshooter ('Diagnose Network Configuration & Run Automated Networking Tests), all the Network Adapters were shown as having passed. Ditto, when I ran the "Test a TCP/IP Configuration Using the Ping Command" -- pinging 127.0.0.1, the results showed 4 packets sent and 4 received.
I spent several hours on the phone with Lenovo Tech Support to no avail, and their instruction that I uninstall Norton Internet Security made no difference either. When they instructed me to open a Command Prompt and ping 192.168.1.1, the results showed that there were 4 packets sent and 4 received. When I was instructed to ping the IP Address for the wireless adapter, the results showed 4 packets send and 4 received. When I was instructed to ping www.google.com, the results showed that the ping request could not find the host www.google.com. Lenovo Tech Support stated that there was nothing further they could do, and that I needed to use a utility to set everything back to factory specs (i.e., have a utility programme erase everything on the hard drive and reinstall XP ... and even then I was told that there was no guarantee that would fix things, meaning that the PC would then have to be sent into their repair depot). Before I do this, I was hoping that someone here might know as to what's going on with my connection problems and how it could be fixed, without having to erase everything.
I would appreciate any insight or advice anyone might have. Thanks so much!

I did do a complete uninstall of Norton (i.e., didn't save any of the settings), but that didn't resolve the connection problem. I also turned off Microsoft's firewall as well, once Norton was uninstalled (it had been turned off, when Norton was installed, and once Norton was uninstalled, MS firewall defaulted back to an on/active status).
I also forgot to mention in my initial description of the problem and actions taken thus far to try and correct it, that I additionally tried the "ping" procedure described in paragraph five above in Windows Safe Mode with Networking, but was still unable to connect to the internet.

Also when I apply the safety copy it only imports the app the phones have had in common, so none of the apps that only the iPhone 4 had doesn't come in, only the ones I and the iPhone 4 has had in common. So you say the only way I can use the Apple ID to download on the old iPhone 4 is if I delete the apps that are in the phone and then download them again? How will that change the ID to download/update from. Won't it still have mine to update/download from?

Itunes freezes when I try to access movies or tv shows

I recently got a new laptop with windows vista. I installed itunes and dowloaded itunes 7.5, then I transferred all of my music, and vidoe files onto my new notebook. I can play music, go to the online store and make purcahses without any issue, but When I try to access my movies or tv shows itunes stops responiding and I have to use task mananger to close it. Any advice would be great thanks.

Hmm...I've had a similar problem where only some of my TV Shows would sync. What I did to correct it was click on the TV Shows tab in iTunes and made sure that all shows where synced instead of just unwatched shows. That seemed to do the trick with my situation.

Can't access previously purchased TV shows from iTunes

I have purchased several tv series in itunes and can't access SD version to download. It only gives me option of downloading HD version which would mean I need to repurchase.
This issue is a function of itunes not downloading current week show. I have to do manually each time. I am logged into account and have most current version of Itunes etc.

I'm having the same problem. I purchased a SD season pass for a show and when I tried to download the newest episode I couldn't access the SD version. When I click on the SD button nothing happens. The only option it gives me is to download the HD version which means I would have to repurchase the episode. I haven't had any response from Itunes support. System crashes when trying to access movies and tv shows on iTunes store

I've just re-installed iTunes on a Gateway 500SE PC running on Windows XP SP 2 (recently had a new hard drive put in after original crashed). Whenever I try to open up any sections in the iTunes store (movies, TV shows, etc.) other than music section my computer freezes; then the monitor goes black for a few seconds and comes back with the image sizes increased, pixelated, and colored strangely. I then get the message that "The nv4_disp display driver has stopped working normally." and am told to reboot the machine. At the advice of a Gateway tech, I reinstalled the video driver for the graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX200 but am still having the same problem. Any advice or suggestions?

I changed my appleID and primary email and now I can not access iCloud. ICloud shows my old appleID but I can't change it. How do I get iCloud to work with my updated ID?

I Changed my ISP and therefore changed my email address, which caused me to change my appleID. I had no problems making the changes to my appleID but now I am having problems with iCloud. My old ID is still showing as my iCloud ID and I can not see where or how to change this. I keep getting an annoying pop up box to enter the password for my OLD appleID as well as error messages that I can't back up to iCloud.
CAn someone please tell me how I can fix this so my iCloud works.

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.
