Accessibility with navigation in Captivate 3 - please help!
Hi all.
I'm using Captivate 3. I have an e-Learning course (around
100 screens) I put together that I wanted to be as accessible as
possible. I've set keyboard shortcuts up for each action on each
page - but when I test this on a web server the course slows to a
stop, and pressing one shortcut sometimes skips by about 3 or 4
pages - even though it works faultlessly for mouse navigation. Any
ideas how I can stop this?
Also - when I try to use the tab key to navigate, I get a
yellow highlight around each selectable area, but can find no way
to carry out the action - i.e. I've tried Enter, Spacebar and
numerous other keys, and no dice. Any ideas on this?
I think the Tab question has come up over and over. I got an

Hi Shootist. I would be interested in hearing some reasoning on this. I almost always use a USB cable to connect my camera to the MBP for transferring pictures, and have moved about 30,000 this way over the last 6 years since my photography went digital. Recently, on the rare occassions when I have only a few to transfer and I was too lazy to go for the cable, I have used the card reader; about half those times I have difficulty getting the MBP to recognise the card. I find I have to press the card very hard into the slot for it to be recognised.
My rationale is quite possibly wrong, but I feel that the USB connectors are more robust and hard-wearing than the flimsy connectors on an SD card. Also, I haven't measured it, but I think the data transfer is faster with the cable. (I just came across this test, which reports noticeably faster transfer for cable than built-in card reader, but the computer was a PC)

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

My ipod touch gets stuck on the same song, even after I uncheck the loop button. I am trying to play it in my 2007 vw with a power adapter that allows it to charge and play through my navigation unit. Please help. Thank you.
Yes, first try deleing both songs.
If still problem
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, ,make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I just got a new iPod touch 4th generation and I'm trying to connect to my router and my iPod says, 'Cannont find network.' I don't know what to do! No other networks come up on the list so I can't 'tag' along with thier wifi. Please help. I need advice.
What type network is yu router set up for? The 4G iPod can only connect and see 2.4 GHZ networl like B, G and the 2,4 GHz N. There is also a 5 GHz N but the iPod will not even seethat network.

I am getting the same message when I try to install the latest version of iTunes, I am running on Windows Vista Home Premium. I have tried so many different things to try to correct this and have now completly unistalled it from my laptop..... Now I have no iTunes what-so-ever on it and still can't install it. I found an older versin of iTunes and it installed without any problems, but I can't access it because my library was created on a newer version! Talk about frustrated..... WE NEED HELP!!!!!

If you don't have access to your rescue email account, or you don't have one on your iTunes account, then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

If she set up Find My iPod on it before this happened, follow the instructions listed under "If you don't have access to a computer" here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212. If you're trying to connect to a Bonjour server on the remote network, that won't work over a layer 3 VPN. Use something like Hamachi or one of the SSH-tunnelling Bonjour proxy apps for that. -
I want to bring over music from my iTunes library on iMac to an ipod touch with another apple id. please help. Is this possible. In former versions of itunes this was posible. I can't find the solution is iTunes 11
Perhaps those apps require a newer version of iOS than is compatible with your iPod.

Apple does tell you about required equipment for the iPhone -- in 8 point medium gray type on a light gray box. The Store associates kind of automatically assume everybody is running a new model computer and the one I met when we bought our iPhone had never seen a pre-2008 Mac and was somewhat puzzled why anybody would own such an antique. -
