Accessing Credit in App Store from Iphone

When I log into the App Store and view my account from my lap top, I see that I have an available credit. However, when I attempt to purchase an app on my iphone 4 (rescenty updated to the new opperating system) it does not recognize that I have an available credit and forces me to use a CC. This is a rescent issue from when I updated to the new opperating system and did not have this problem before. Any thoughts?

If the price of the app + taxes and any fees that may apply (depending which iTunes Store / country your use), if there isn't sufficient funds left over from an iTunes gift card then the balance is deducted from your credit card account.

You can only sync to one computer at a time. If you switch to a new one all apps and other media files will be erased. Transfer your purchases before you sync to the new one. To do this, disable autosync, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose "transfer purchases"
Backup manually the same way. Before you start, make sure to sync again with your old computer and you have at least one contact and event set up on the new one to be able to merge data after the first sync. Restore the rest of your data using the backup you made before.

No able to write reviews in app store from Iphone 6

Hi,
I'm not able to write reviews for the app I have purchased from app store. When I open write review tab and click on title then screen goes blank and not able to see what i type and also send button is disabled when i write something.
Please suggest what can be done.

I Have the same problem full wifi connection everithing wirking safari etc, after i open appstore my internet is down but the wifi signal is still full. I call applecare in hungary but nobody listen and they sad its close in the weekend. I just upgrade my i5s for 6 plus and thos one ruin everithing nothing want to work. I was a iphone maniac not anymore thanks for apple getting like android. Hopefully microsoft make something because this is unaccectable for a 700 € phone.
And im curious abot why like that so many millions of dollar and my old phones 4 5 5s working and this brick is not!!!!!!

By cannot access do you mean you cant login or completely cant view the stores. If you cant login make sure you haven't exceeded the maximum number of devices your allowed to authorize.

so the thing is a few days ago i made an app store purchase and i didn't know i was running out of money on my credit card. i realized that only when i tried to purchase another item and it didn't work. nothing special til here. the problem is that meanwhile my credit card was replaced by a new one by the bank because the old one was soon expiring. So the data associated with the old credit card no longer exist.
i tried to edit my billing info associated with my apple id in order to enter the new credit card data, but the system doesn't allow me to do that.
so i can neither pay my purchase, nor edit my info, nor access app store anymore.
what's next? any ideas? thanks

Are you checking from within the Apps section of iTunes on your computer? Is there a reason you can't download it directly to the iPhone?

It did it with my old iPhone 4 in last month or so, and it I hoped it would go once I updated to new iPhone 5. The problem has transferred to new phone too.
I can't sign in to iTunes account on iPhone. It takes the password then resets to baseline. No error message comes up. On the base computer (pc) it will allow me to sign up and buy songs, apps etc. I can then sync the phone and put them on it. It just won't let me buy direct from the .
As there are no error messages I am at a loss what to do. I have updated the payment details on my account, and my husband has an iPhone 4 and has no such problems. We share the same wifi. I have tried with 3G as well as wifi, with no luck.
I am pretty much out of ideas, and have tried searching forums but there is so much overlap between queries that I can't find a similar problem from someone else, but I am sure it exists!
Can anyone please help me?

I figured it out!
I read a solution for something that sounded similar.
Anyone in similar position:
Open iTunes app on iPhone, and pick an option from bottom, such as music. Then scroll down to bottom of page and where your iTunes ID is, press on it, and pick sign out.
Then return to home screen, and double press home button and press and hold on first icon showing, until a minus symbol appears in the top left of icons present. Press on each minus symbol on each app in turn, until all app icons have disappeared. Then Restart the phone by pressing and hold the home button and the on/off/standby button at top of phone, until the apple symbol appears in centre of blank screen.
Swipe to turn phone fully on and open settings and scroll down to iTunes and apps option and tap that. Pick sign in and put in your apple ID, it will accept it and then return to home screen and open iTunes a you'll find it works fine
Simple really, but some like me won't think f this themselves!

I am a new user of iphone 4...i've accidentally deleted the app store from the iphone...pls tell me how to retrieve it back...pls help...tq

To restore the missing App Store Icon, or other original Apple Icons on the iPhone, go to Settings / General / Reset (Don't worry, you will be presented with a number of options concerning resetting before anything happens. The iPhone will NOT reset just by selecting this option).
Choose "Reset Home Screen Layout". This will restore the App Store Icon as well as other Apple Icons you may have removed or placed into folders.
Please note. This also removes any folders you have set up and rearranges all of the apps you have, so it takes awhile to put everything back where it was.
Unfortunately, I did not capture the placement of my Icons, so I had to recreate from memory...not that big a deal. If you elect to follow this procedure, make a note of where all of your icons are placed and then proceed.
I followed links that talked about restoring through iTunes...never could make anything like that work. This is a quick and simple fix.

1. If you downloaded it for free the first time it should then be free for you forever to re-download and update.
2. If the app is no longer on the store then you cannot re-download it, I suggest you save an extra copy of the one you already have. I know I backed up my precious phonesabre.

I'm having the same problem as well. I use keychain access often to remind me of my passwords and was happy (initially) to see one for "iphone backup". When I entered it I got the same error message:
"The password you entered to unlock your iPhone backup file was incorrect. Please try again."
Really frustrating.
