Accessing Enterprsie login page?
Our DBA installed patch "XDO/ORACLE XML PUBLISHER CORE ROLLUP PATCH 5.6.2, # 5097966".
Does that allow me to access the Enterprise pages? If so do i need a special responsiblity and what is the URL? Or is there another patch for this application?
I don't know if i'm totally missing something here, the 5.6.2 doc B25951-01, doesn't have much other then access the URL your sys admin gives you.
Thanks,
Jeremy
Hi Sreeram,
The error you are seeing in the log files is caused by the unconfigurerd default iDoc listener that is supplied with xMII, so that is not the likely cause of the error you are seeing. I would recommend you submit your question through the SAP Support Portal as this appears to be a case that could be resolved much more quickly by the Support team.

Error in accessing XMII Login Page

I am getting a null pointer exception while accessing the login page.When I see the cms.log the details are as follows.

Can Partner Application Access to Login Page's Information ?
Hi.
I wanna write a Partner Application to Access User's Information(UserName, subscriberName or Company Name)
This information represented by user In login Page.
I am not specialist in Oracle Sigle Sign-On ,for this reason Please Let me have a Sample .
Thanks.Please see the Single Sign-On Application Developer's Guide. If you write a partner application, this information that you mentioned is passed to you in your success URL.

To pull up my login page for my reservation software, I have an icon on my desktop. https://apps.gracesoft.com/pms2/login.asp. However it keeps shortening the "pms2" to "pms" and that makes the login info invalid. The page pulls up just fine, but that one space saver invalidates the security
It appears that the URL is being redirected by the website, and not being changed by Firefox. I think you'll find that the URL will be changed if you try to visit the website in another web browser, too.

I have a Straight Talk Blackberry. I have created my blackberry email address and activated my phone. I found the Straight Talk BIS login portal here:
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=tw
But I don't have a login for it. I called Straight Talk and they said I need to contact BlackBerry. How do I create a login for this page?Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Whoever you talked to at Straight Talk was (I'll be gentle) not properly trained. Further, this site isn't even a portal by which to seek support directly from BlackBerry, for there is no free method to do that.
Rather, the carriers (e.g., Straight Talk) are responsible for all BIS accounts for their customers. So I suggest you re-contact them and insist on some things:
That they create your BIS account for you on their system
If they continue to insist that you need to contact BlackBerry, that they escalate your case via the formal channels to which only they have access
Don't let them fob you off...continue to insist that, since you PAY them for your services, they are responsible for your service-related support.
Good luck!

Error in OAM Identity and Access Servers login pages
Hi All,
I am trying to install OAM I completed all installations . But now am getting error as invalid "*Invalid credential*". IS there any process to know what the userid and password for the both Identity and Access Servers . Please tell me if there is any process. It very helpful to me .
Thank u & Regards
PokuriHi Pokuri,
Could be that the searchbase is wrong, so that OAM is not finding the user whose credentials you are entering. Or, maybe OAM is using a different attribute as the login attribute (for example, you could be entering the cn when OAM is expecting the uid).
Try binding to ldap with another utility (such as ldapbind or ldapsearch) to see if this gives any indications. You may need to reconfigure the Identity Server to verify/correct the searchbase (for this, follow note 730376.1) and to check which attribute has the "Login" semantic type in OAM.

Custom login page with Policy Agent 2.2 & Access Manager
Hi,
Im trying to set up policy agent 2.2 and Access Manager to use the login page of the application Im trying to secure. Im not sure if this is the correct forum or not so feel free to move this if need be.
Ive been using this link: http://docs.sun.com/source/816-6884-10/chapter3.html#wp25376 but it doesnt seem to make sense.
In my AMAgent.properties file Ive set up
com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.form[0]=/contextRoot/login/login.jsp to my login page and Ive also configured the web.xml for that application to use the login:
<login-config>
<auth-method>FORM</auth-method>
<form-login-config>
<form-login-page>/login/login.jsp</form-login-page>
<form-error-page>/login/login.jsp</form-error-page>
</form-login-config>
</login-config>
When I try and access the login page Im redirected to the default access manager login page. I did notice in the AMProperties.xml file the following line:
com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.url[0] = http://amserverhost:80/amserver/UI/Login
It seems like I should change that to point to my login page but I didnt see any documentation supporting that. When I change that property to point to location of my login page, i get a redirect loop error.
When I remove the com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.form[0] property all together, I just get a resource restricted error.
Now when I configure the com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.form[0] property, set the config.login.url = to my login page AND set the com.sun.identity.agents.config.notenforced.uri[0] property equal to my login page (so the login page is no longer protected) I am able to see the login page
Is unrestricting the login page correct? Im able to access the login.jsp page directly and when I try and access protected resources Im redirected back to the login page so everything seems to be working correctly but Im not sure if this is the correct way.Hi Neeraj,
I still have not been able to resolve that issue. Let me know If you find a solution for the same.
Thanks,
Srinivas -
Hi,
Some of my participants/customers, from the same
organization, can’t access the login page when they are going
to participate in a meeting. They can access the login screen for
Connect Pro Central but not for the meeting. For example the can
access
http://wezupport.emea.acrobat.com
but not
http://wezupport.emea.acrobat.com/support.
They just get a message that the site cannot be displayed. This
happens with Internet Explorer (6.0) but not with Firefox.
Has anyone experience this problem?
DanBjörn, I too log in from Sweden and have the same issue: open the forums' page, log in and I am sent automatically to the "sorry, this page is not available" alternatively I get an error 404. As soon as I am sent to the "sorry, this page is not available" I too get automatically loggen in, but if I go back to the forums page (doesn't matter how, if I refresh, go back or open in a new window), I am not inlogged and the process continues.
I have to go through that at least 3 times before this jumping to and fro ends and the forum recognizes me. -
Safari not accessing login pages
Safari right now will not access any login page, citing "because it couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server". I had a harddrive fail recently and had installed a new one (120 GB replacing an 80 GB) and thus had to reinstall OS Tiger onto the new harddrive. At the same time, I upgraded my RAM by adding another 512 MB chip. I went through all the updates and everything seemed to be fine until I noticed Safari couldn't access any login page (gmail, netscape, apple ID, etc.). Before the failure, everything was working perfectly. Then the next time software updater ran, every time it tried to install something it would hang up before it finished. I have emptied the caches, the history, set cookies to always accept, reset safari, and removed the plist. Nothing has worked thus far and I am avoiding reinstalling Tiger.
I am using SBC DSL, and a friend had almost the same setup as me (except he has a G4 PowerPC with the mirrored doors) and he has no problem with it.
I know I can use Firefox and IE, but I hate those browsers and would like to use Safari. I also really would like to download the latest updates.
Other than that, I have not had any problems.
I would appreciate any help, thanks.did this worked fantastic as a number of other applications have also freed up it had started with safari then software update, text edit, imovie etc i also have x509 certificates that i have put into the trash what are they and should i bin these as well

J2EE Policy agent - login page config questions
Hi,
I'm trying to configure a customized login page for an application that is protected by a AM Policy Agent 2.2-01 on SJSAS 8.2.
I am aware of this link:
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-2539/gatai?l=en&a=view .
This describes configuring the custom login for an app. Based on the doc, I have configured the following:
1. I have the agent and my app on one instance on myhost.mydomain.com
2. A url policy is protecting my app, configured in Access Manager 7.1. The url is http://myhost.mydomain.com:38080/myapp/*
3. In my app's web.xml I have the following:
<login-config>
<auth-method>FORM</auth-method>
<form-login-config>
<form-login-page>/login.jsp</form-login-page>
<form-error-page>/loginerror.jsp</form-error-page>
</form-login-config> 4. In AMAgent.properties:
com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.form[0] = /myapp/login.jsp
com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.error.uri[0] = /myapp/loginerror.jsp
com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.use.internal = false
com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.content.file = FormLoginContent.txtThere doesnt seem to be any change in login page when I go to my app. It just redirects to the Access Manager login page, and when I login it redirects back to the app. The security behavior is correct but I would like the login page to be unique for the app.
So my questions are:
1. Am I using com.sun.identity.agents.config.login.use.internal correctly? I dont want it to use internal login, but my login file, right?
2. My login page is protected by my url policy. Is that a problem? Should I be using com.sun.identity.agents.config.notenforced.uri[0] on the login page?
3. Can anyone clarify to me exactly how and where the contents of FormLoginContent.txt is used?
I'm kind of new to AM and Policy Agents, so i apologize if my questions seem very newb. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
-MattChanging com.sun.identity.agents.config.filter.mode to URL_POLICY seemed to help. I am now seeing /myapp/login.jsp as the login page for my app. The logins themselves are failing, however. I am confused as to how to set up the jsp to work with the agent to log in.

Daniel or anyone else, Help on why I can't access certain jsp pages
I have installed the Web Service Portlet Wizard to build my portlets. In particular,
I have created a URL porlet jsp which receives its content from a URL.
This URL that I retrive is an application that I have running on my Weblogic 6.1
Server. I can access the login page, and can logon and do a few things but for
some reason I Can't access certain pages. The pages I can't access are also jsp
pages on the wlserver6.1 server(exactly the same as other ones I can access and
interact with).
The error I receive on the Portal Front end is attached in a word doc. I have
also included in there, a snapshot of the access log for those pages, but I can't
really make out what it is telling me (if anything!).
For one of the pages, that I can't successfully access I get java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
This only happens with 1 of the pages. But trying to access the same page withouth
going thru the portal I get NO errors what so ever.
Please if anyone can give me any information on why I can't access certain pages
via my portal It would be very helpful.
Finally I have included the code of my Portlet which accesses the URL. This is
also included in the word doc.
Thanks
Ramy
[Portal.doc]Ramy,
I don't know the Web Service Portlet Wizard too well, but I notice that
login.htm never seems to be found (404 in logs). I would think that the two
warnings below your JSP call (cookies, and portlet state) are your most
likely culprits. If the Web Service Portlet Wizard does not handle cookies
then the portal server will have to continiously reauthenticate. I will
forward your email however and see if I can dig up a better diagnosis. Also,
could you post the stack trace for the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException you
are seeing.
Sincerely,
Daniel Selman

Hi ,
I am unable to view the login screen for the xMII portal.
I tried to access the login page from the system where the xmII server is installed.
When i type in the url -- http://<server>/Lighthammer/Login.jsp it directs me to the menu page without asking my username and password.
Are there any settings to enable the authentication page??
Please help.

vaishali dhayalanHi Shyam,
The configuration below is the trusted server configuration for the system being used
Name -- localhost
Description -- localhost
IP -- 127.0.0.1 (IP address of the system used)
I am unable to delete this configuration since my delete button is disabled even after selecting the server config.How else could i delete it?
Will there be a problem if we delete this server config??

No login page with Solution Beacon E-Business Suite Release12 .1.3 (Vista)
Hello,
I am a new user of this solution, I have a CSI code, and a user account.
The problem is that time and now I can not access the login page . I
want to now if this is a internal problem server?
If the problem persists there is another free version to access the
environment of the Oracle E Business Suite.
Waiting for an answer, thank you in advance .Tarik.Bensalim wrote:
