Accessing itunes store message?!!
every time i go on my itunes the accessing itunes store message box pops up but it pops up constantly and its driving me insane it is making it impossible to search anything cause it just keeps popping up what do i do?
Your problem seems same as mine...I'm still hanging with that problem. And I can't find way to fix that. That pop-up is appear quite rapidly and really annoying me. When I click tune name, try to get tunes informations, try to rename tune, and try to select tune on MUSIC LIBRARY, that pop-up appear about per 1 second and it takes about 10 seconds to finishing access to iTunes store, during that time period, status bar is working. But wait their up and then somehow they are going to available to click, get informations, rename, select about 1 time per 3 times. But copying tune' name is almost impossible during worst situation. But edit information during that time there is nothing to keep me away. This issue may occur once a half hour. Once this is occur, this is going to take about 10 to 20 minuets. Depends on what I try to do, gross time in this issue change flexible really. I also look forward someone who able to fix this problem. Is there nobody get in same problem with iTunes 10.2.1(1) and Mac OS X 10.6.6 like us? And is there nobody able to fix this problem?

Constant "accessing itunes store" message
I wanted to let you know my solution for the constant "accessing itunes store" message. I was able to get rid of it by disabling Ping. Even though I like Ping, I don't need it. I tried the remedy that SandAddict26 suggested, but it didn't work.

I've fixed mine! From a little help from an apple adviser. You might want to clear your caches before doing this - under iTunes preferences. Open iTunes - go to the top bar, click the 'Store' drop down menu >
Then click 'De-authorise this Computer' >
Enter your password etc >
Then click 'Store' again then click 'Re-authorise this Computer'>
Enter password etc>
Restart the Mac>
Open up iTunes should be fine - worked for me anyway Good Luck

"Accessing iTunes Store" message stuck...
I just installed the upgrade via Software Update and since... whenever I start iTunes it immediately gives a pop-up window stating 'Accessing iTunes Store' and is seemingly stuck. If I hit cancelled, the 'Canceling' message just gets stuck. On top of all this, I am unable to use iTunes and play any of my media as these stuck messages completely renders iTunes dead. What can I do?
Well, this problem may have just cost me real money. I was fighting iTunes with this problem last night whilst attempting to browse the iTunes store. I looked at a number of albums, but didn't buy anything. I was doing searches in the store and, as some others have already said, it becomes very difficult to type or browse as the dialog box keeps appearing after you've typed three letters. So I kept trying to type as quickly as I could and hit the 'enter' button on the keyboard to submit the search query.
So anyway, this morning I got tax invoice from Apple saying that I had somehow purchased some of the songs I was browsing last night. I never went anywhere close to the 'buy' button on any of these things.
I'm hypothesizing that iTunes misinterpreted me attempting to preform searches and thought I was pressing the 'enter' key to hit the 'buy' button instead of submitting the search query as the stupid dialog box keeps taking focus away from the search box.
Allow the conspiracy theories to commence. -
I had following problem: When I tried to search for a song in the Itunes Store I kept getting message "Accessing Itunes Store" (even though it appeared I was already in the store) Everytime I typed a character in the Search box the Accessing Itunes Store message would pop up
I was told to uninstall Itunes and Quick time programs and reinstall latest versions, which I have done and now have Itunes 10.3
I still got same messages so I tried a few things and when I went to my itunes account profile I got message "Requested Resouce not found"
Don't know where to go from this point. HELPI have the same issue. I took it the genius bar and called talked to tier 2 phone support. They have standard thing where you uninstall all apple software in a certain order and then reinstall 64bit itunes. That did nothing (tried it 4 times).
I've gotten two clues so far.
One is that at the store if I plug someone else's iphone 4 in then itunes acts the same way. So it is not the phone. Two is tier 2 phone support told me to try syncing it with a fresh user account (an admin one). I did that and itunes was just fine, it did not freeze.
So there appears to be some conflict with the software, music files, whatever that is on my current user account (also an admin account). I ran virus and malware detectors and found nothing. Now I'm going to try putting my music, movies, apps, etc in the new user account and see if the phone will sync then.
I know its not much but thats where I'm at. I hope it helps. -
Problems Accessing iTunes Store
Hi,
This is the second Friday in a row that I've had problems accessing the iTunes store to rent or buy movies from my aTV.
I can browse and view movie details OK but when I click OK to rent or buy a movie I get the twirling "in progress" thingy with the message "Accessing iTunes Store" but it never gets any further.
Is anybody else having problems?Same problem for me, and it didn't happen until I updated to iTunes 8. I've had tons of problems since then, I hope Apple does something about it, they must be aware of the issues, and they're being very slow to resolve it.
I'm getting the forever "Accessing iTunes Store" message with the spinning thing. Nothing ever happens. I have rebooted, but I agree with the comment that it's a very frustrating way to buy or rent a movie. -

When I turn on my computer, an error message says "AppleSyncNotifier.exe-entry point not found. The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll" Cannot access itunes store, sync phone, etc. Two weeks ago did this and Apple support had me remove and reinstall iTunes. Doing it again. Help....
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the libmxl2.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "libxml2.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "libxml2.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.
Good Luck -
