Accessing music from an old ID

I have music in my itunes library from about 3 different IDs. the current one which I know. My wifes. But I used to have another AOL ID I used but the acct is no longer active. Subsequently every time I try to play one of those songs, I get prompted to enter the password. I don't remember it, so I hit the 'forgot password' button. When it tries to enter the ID in question it comes back as 'specified ID does not exist' when I try to create a new ID to get the music transferred to it prompts me for the old credit card number I have long since stopped using to authenticate me as the same person. I no longer have that card that I used, subseqently have no idea what the CC number was. Is there ANY way I can access this music again??

Yeah, I got that part. But to transfer it over they need to know my credit card number I had when i first set up that account. I havent done business with that bank in a year or so and have no idea what the number is. I appreciate that they want to authenticate my identity since I guess occasionally used computers people buy have an itunes library on them and it would be unfair somehow to allow those songs purchased by someone else to by heard by others (insert 'roll eyes' smiley here). But since I don't know this number it will not let me transfer the songs to my current account or a new one. I filled out the above email form, though am guessing without the old credit card number, the Apple folks will probably just think I bought this computer and wanted to access the old song library without paying.
a pity since I have a couple hundred or more songs I now can't access. I have them on my iPod anyway, but that doesnt do me much good at my desktop unless i yank the jack out of the back of the computer and into the iPod. Not a terrible problem, I'll grant you. But it gripes me I can't access those songs from the desktop's iTunes library.
