I purchased CS6 in 2012 and have recently purchased a new computer that I need to put the software on. How do I access this download again? It is missing from my Adobe account.

I'm having the same issue. All my applications transferred over. Lightroom is working, but when I went to edit a picture in Photoshop, I got an error message. It told me to restart, but the program still won't open after restart. It says licensing has stopped working, but what does that mean? I can't tell whether it's unsupported/blocked, or if it's a malfunction. The error code is 150:30 See screen shot.

If you bought the music with another itunes account, then you will have to authorize the computer for that account.

How do I access old OS X updates that I purchased

I have a macbook from 2007 - not eligible for os yosemite update. I had some issues and had to reinstall the operating system from a disc. The disc I had was Snow leopard, but I had a more recent version of the operating system on my computer. Now that my computer is running snow leopard, I can't use any of my applications - iphoto, app store, etc. How can I access my previously purchased operating systems - 10.7 or later? I don't have discs I think they were downloads.

If you purchased, you can download and install Lion(10.7) and Mountain Lion(10.8) from Mac App Store for free.
You need to upgrade your Snow Leopard till 10.6.8 to use Mac App Store.

I'm sure you are correct, but in my case I accidentally downloaded Mountain Lion instead of Lion. Mountain Lion is not compatible with my old Macbook so it took a call and a good bit of work to get the purchase cancelled. My purchase never showed up because of the incompatible computer even though I purchased the software.

I would like to donate my older versions of Flash and Dreamweaver to a school because I have purchased the CS6 Cloud membership. I have some questions about licenses because after reading the license transfer restrictions it rather appears as though my license includes all versions. Because I still use all the programs in CS6, I can't afford to lose any of them. So...
1. Restriction: Any active Upgrade Plan, maintenance, and technical support for a license must be transferred along with the license. Is this limited to CS5 or does it include my recent upgrade to CS6?
2. Restriction: License transfers include current versions and all previous versions of a given license. I'm not sure if every time I have purchased or upgraded to a new Creative Suite if I did so under the same license. Would this mean that my most recent license to CS6 Cloud would also need to be transferred?
3. I have purchased the downloaded version of my old software and do not have any disks. Is that going to be a problem if I transfer the old software?
4. In my research I read that I am limited to only 4 transfers during my lifetime, but I don't see that restriction in the TLP text. Is four the limit?

I am contemplating moving from PC to a MacBook Pro with Retina Display and a loaded up iMac.
My question pertains to the way that software is licensed via the App Store on an Apple. When you download an app, it can go to both an iphone and ipad. I am wondering if I were to download paid software(Finl Cut Pro, Motion, etc) onto my Macbook, would I also be able to access them on my iMac, or would I have to purchase separate licenses?

Unless stipulated otherwise you can install any software purchased in the App Store on all the computers that your own. It is tied to your Apple ID so each computer should use the same Apple ID for authorization.
If you sell the computers at some later date you cannot transfer your license to a new owner. They must purchase their own software using their Apple ID.

Terminal command that will let me access old username files...

... including files saved by timemachine? I've had a lot of computer problems, first wiped the drive. It was a chore getting old folders like "desktop" and "downloads" to open for me with my new username and for some reason I wasn't permitted by the system to use the OLD username. I had to go to every folder and every item in every folder and reset permissions.
Now, it seems, I need a new drive. Which means I have to do all those things AGAIN! Plus re-install software.
Is there a terminal command that will let me access old timemachine drives (plural) with (unfortunately) multiple usernames?

You only know a very small part of the story.   THE ORIGINAL iMAC WAS ONLY JUST OVER A MONTH OLD! The original Appointment was screwed up by Apple Support(?). I was told to drop it off in the morning and return for the 3:15PM appointment, which I did only to find there had been no appointment made, but the case number was in the system. I was told 3-5 days only to be notified by e-mail on the third day the logic board (motherboard) was bad.   Another wait. A week later it was ready and it ran from about noon until the next day about 11 AM when it had an update that required a restart where is promptly died during the restart. The Mgr of the Apple Store was gracious and had the computer replaced with a new one rather than trying something else.   Perhaps, you think it is fun to sit in a noisy store for half an hour or more, but I sure don't. Where is Apple's QC??? China!
I owned a computer business for 15 years and never once made a customer go through this much trouble.
If my computers made it through a 72 hour burn-in and did not have a problem in the next couple of weeks it never did have a failure.   My 15 year record of building computers had less than a 1% failure rate.
By the way, for your information if a new logic board is installed (I seemed to see several being done each visit) and the App does not recognize it, just uninstall it and go to the App store and re-install it.

make sure the appleID there is the appleID the apps was bought with otherwise you can't start them
and if you try to redownload them you will be charged to whatever appleID your phone is currently set to use
