Accessing purchases from AIM account/removing HomeShare

I have a number of songs I purchased with an AIM account a few years ago. I am able to play them on my PC, but when I backed up my library to disk and added it to my MacBook, those songs will not play. When I attempt to play one of those songs, I am prompted to sign into the AIM account I used to purchase the songs. When I enter the password, it tells me that account is associated with my AppleID account. When I enter that password, it tells me that I am not authorized to play the song. Is there any way to transfer those purchases to my AppleID so that I can access them on my MacBook? I have HomeSharing turned on both the PC and Mac. Also, I currently have 2 computers but a third computer was authorized for HomeSharing. Is there any way to remove a computer from HomeSharing if you no longer have access to it? I should have no problem updating the information associated with your father's My Best Buy account; however, I will need that request to come from him being his name is on the actual account. With that being said, the transferring of a purchase from one account to another is going to be a little bit trickier and may not even be an option at this point. The AOL address I was using for my iTunes account has been deleted due to me not signing in for awhile and I'm afraid that I will lose all of my purchases made from my iphone when I sync it into iTunes for a much needed update and so that I can (hopefully) transfer its data to my new iPhone 4...

You don't need to access your e-mail account, just get into your Apple account and change the e-mail address. If you can't access your Apple account, then you have a bigger issue to contend with.

I've used itunes since it's conception and have had several Ipods. Unfortunately, I also have two accounts. I'd like to consolodate all my purchases of songs and apps to one account for app update purposes and playing music on one set of authorized computers. Is there a way to do this?

This isn't really an iTunes Match questions but I'll give it a shot.
Unfortunately, you must remember the username and password for that account. If you can't you won't be able to play that protected music. There's really no way around this.

My son has an iCloud account for his iPod Touch that he has purchased many apps and songs on. His school has assigned new iPads (that us parents have to buy out of pocket) and he was assigned to create a new iCloud account for that iPad that he will use and buy his own apps on for the rest of his public education and probably further. therefore, the current iCloud account will not get used. Is there a way to transfer the purchases from his old iCloud account to his new iCloud account and delete the old account? If not, he may have wasted up to $100 in App purchases that can't be transferred.

If you are speaking of merging your Apple IDs so that the purchases are under a singular account, this question is addressed in the Apple ID FAQ which can be found here:

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

My daughter has an itues account and she uses it for her purchases from the itunes store. She purchased an iPod Touch for her son and used her account with the iPod to purchase apps for him. She just purchased an iPad for him and obviously all the purchased apps he used on the iPod Touch cannot be downloaded to the new iPad without her having her account on the iPad. If we create an iTunes account for him, is there any way to transfer the purchased games etc to his account.
If I understand correctly, there can be more than one account on the iPad but my daughter does now want him to have access to her account. If this is not possible, can we set it up so he can only access his iTunes account and not hers? In other words if we download all the games etc that were purchased for him, will they be available if she leaves her account on the iPad but changes the PW so he cannot access the account? He would only have access to his iTunes account.

My wife and I each had our own account prior to the HomeSharing feature. Once that was introduced, I jumped on it - thanks very much for doing that. But now I'm left with a few apps that I purchased on my account, and most that I shared from hers. In order to get updates, I have to keep switching accounts and re-verifying the billing info for both accounts.
Is there a way to move my license for a paid app from one account to another, so I can unify all my family's apps under a single account?
I contacted one of the app's vendors and was told that they couldn't do it... so it occurred to me to ask whether Apple could do it from their side.

On the other hand, you can use one Apple ID for iCloud and another for store (iTunes, App Store) purchases. Depending on what you mean to include in "content," that could help.

I have just bought a new pc and downloaded itunes onto it, i have logged into my itunes account and purchased a few new tracks which downloaded fine but it will not find my previous purchases from istore. They show in my history in the store but when I click on purchased i can't get itunes to upload the previous purchases. I know there is a limit on how many computers you can download these too but I only have them on one other one.
Any ideas?
